I have been going to Kara for about 2 years now and i have always received a great cut. Even moving after moving to Brooklyn, I still continue to come up to have her do my hair. She is consistent, listens to what you want and provides insight on new things to try.Aside from the compliments I normally receive after my cuts, I went to a barber in Brooklyn when I couldnt make it up to Poughkeepsie - it had been about a month since my last cut and the barber asked who normally does my hair. When I told him where I went he said, You should definitely keep going to her, for your cut to be a month old and the lines are still this good, she knows what shes doing.

Ive always been picky about who I have cut my hair and even more about who I let handle my beard. I came across kara on Facebook and saw her work. I was looking for a long term barber and from the first time I went to the hair saloon right up until my last visit a week ago, I have yet to be disappointed. She takes pride in her work and I would recommend anyone to her. Shes also super cool and a pleasure to deal with and super accommodating.
