Went to go get my nail replaced, the only good thing I can say is the woman who did my nail (even though it is not complete) was VERY nice to me, but when I asked how much would be the total for ONE nail, she told me my total would be $30. which is so ridiculous because I only came to get ONE nail replaced, not all. while expressing how I feel about the price, there was a Mexican or mix lady who decided to jump in the conversation and was absolutely rude to me, when I thought the customer is suppose to be always right, the owner (Lisa) ended up arriving and she had no idea what was going on, no she did not try to figure out what was going on, she decided to take her employees opinion with out listening to my point of view, my nail is still not completed and they took my money and refuse to give me a refund, the better business bureau is also aware of this matter and I also got an attorney involved, I will NEVER come back to this place even if this is the last nail salon standing, I rather not get serviced with them at all. The lady who did my nail was so pleasant with me even though, I had an issue with the price range because again, there is no reason why I should have been charged $30 and she agreed and also stated that her co-worker was out of line, the owner (Lisa) still did not care even after the fact, DO NOT GO THERE, THEY DO NOT CARE AND JUST WANTED THEIR MONEY. and as Im looking at the reviews its no reason for the owner response should be rude, when we are expressing our experience with HER business, the owner does not want to be wrong at all, and it shows especially when replying back to our reviews. I was so highly upset to the point the enforcements was involved, the man from fire house subs, stated the customers are always unhappy with their professionalism, honestly I dont want any feedback from her, especially if its rude. I pray and hope you get mercy and grace for this, & I mean that in the most humble way.

This doesnt refund anyone their refund if an customer not satisfied with services getting done by them at time of service.

I only gave it 2 stars because the young lady that did my nails was so very sweet but her work leaves a lot to be desired, now the lady who appears to be the owner is pleasant but not so much if you have an opinion...the young lady who did my nails is almost 9 months pregnant and appears to be in active labor while doing my nails but is the only nail tech there working and I expressed my concerns to the “owner” and she basically was like she ain’t going nowhere until she finishes these clients, anyone that puts money before the health of a pregnant employee is nowhere that I will ever want to spend my money again

It’s several times where I feel they overcharged or just added extra money during the service. This time I just needed my nails done in hopes they wouldn’t do that. First I asked for the half & half nails which is considered a design on each finger for $80, (even though it’s just 2 colors side by side smh) since i didn’t like it, I just got 2 on each finger & not ten designs, meaning the price should no longer be $80. Yet again I was overcharged & spent so much time on the shaping it was still ugly lmao, I might just be picky but regardless I was overcharged !

I wanted to support black females so I would drive 45 minutes to get my services. So I started off only getting my pedicures done. The young lady was given a couple of chances to improve but I wasn’t able to get the quality I wanted. My daughters full set was great but her fillings didn’t. I have had to go right back the next day to have a things corrected. My daughter got her straightened but it had no body because of the extensive amount of grease that was put in her hair. I paid the same price for a fill in that I did for a full set that I had to get replaced 2 days later needless to say I will stick with foreigners

They were extremely friendly but my nails ended up looking horrible. Too thick and too wide. Going to have to pay someone to fix this. Very disappointed 😭. I cried the nails turned out so bad.

My daughter got her nails done which was $95.00 and three days later the whole nails were coming off

My polished chipped in like three days and i came back to get it repaired and was told that it looked like I’ve been smoking, which I don’t do, and then the owner proceeds to tell me my polish chipped from picking something up🤔🤨 I’ve been getting gel polish for years now....never have i ever experienced chipping of gel polish from just picking something up that’s not normal like seriously 😒 but to top it all off I was charged $5 to get a corner of my damn nail painted. She didn’t drill the old nail polish off or anything just painted over the chip ......This was my first time ever being to this salon and I WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

Came in because I needed a gel fill-in. I was in bit of a rush, but was willing to sit there to have what I needed done. The tech started my nails and began grinding them down until it burned my nail beds. The edges of my nails are yellow and can be seen through the clear top coat of my gel polish. There is still red polish that can be seen on the sides as well. I called and spoke with the lady whom i thought was the owner or manager, and i informed her of my experience. She told me to come by after i got off and the young lady would fix it. I only worked down there walk way, so this was fine. Im sitting in their paking lot right now. Their lights and everything are off, it is currently 7:18pm, but the sign on the door says they close at 8pm! I call the next day to speak to the manager and informed her that I came by after work but they closed early and that I took a picture of the sign that states they close at 8pm. The manager got really unprofessional telling me YOU DIDNT HAVE TO DO ALL THAT! I TOLD YOU SHE WAS GOING TO FIX IT! AND THIS IS MY SHOP, AND IF ITS SLOW THEN I CAN CLOSE EARLY IF I WANT TO!!! I asked for a refund and she says SORRY BOO! ALL SALES FINAL! After I came from my lunch break, my store manager told me that a lady came in there asked for me two times from the nail shop. I waited on her to come again, but she didnt come back. My overall experience was not what I was expecting. I believed that since this was a black owner business, the services would be better, but it was not. Very disappointed!

I got my nails done today and honsetly Im a little disappointed. My polish looks terrible. Im just going to redo it myself. Also the young lady was a little unprofessional. Took over 2 hours. I understood that she was new but when her boss walked away she kept stopping. My shape acrylic is not shaved all the way good. Her boss kept telling her to fix it but when her boss walked away she didnt fix it even after I said something. Also she cut my finger filing it and she was super rough and I told her alot of times that she was hurting my fingers. She got started on my nails at 5:20 I didnt leave until 7:58.

Came in last minute but they welcomed me with open arms. I got a great pedicure and left feeling relaxed. Would definitely recommend!

Me and my sister went here about two weeks ago. I must say I am a fan of black owned businesses. My first impression was like, oh okay, I like this. Nice atmosphere, and music. But I do think they are a little too pricey for the quality of the work we did receive compared to Asian owned nail salons who do way better work. My fill in was average price. $13-15 plus a $5 design for 2 two nails. My overall price was $20 even. Now with that being said, my sister on the other hand was overcharged to me. A full set should not have been $40. Not a regular acrylic full set anyway. Those fees sparked confusion. They say they charged her for the length of her nails(which was normal length of nail). And $5 design per nail. She had only two designs.so $10 for 2 nails.The original price for a full set was $25..Im still not seeing how it couldve been $40. Cuz if that was the case, my nails wouldve cost more per design. Plus you can see lumps in the acrylic,the nails were crooked and uneven. And I couldve designed the nails myself because it was sloppy. Then the manager had to tell the nail tech to fix something on my sis nail. One of her nails popped off a couple days later rolling down the window. How??...Other shops dont charge for length of nails on full sets. They charge for cut downs and is still cheaper with better quality work and more professional designs.

Very unpleasant and unprofessional the nail tech had no clue what she was doing...the manager and another nail tech was standing over telling her what to do and how to do it....she filed down too the meat and clipped my toe nails to sort needless to say don’t waste your time...this has to be a ilegal teaching school.

I said I wanted to leave 5$ tip the girl wrote off 20$ in tips for 30$ service and said it was an accident and they don’t do refunds. NOPE and the manger and employees are very rude and unprofessional. And they steal!

Rude at first. Became polite, but were clearly bothered that I came in... also received funny looks from customers & techs, not the most comfortable if youre white. They were supposed to be open 45 minutes longer but were trying to close early. They rushed my services. Nails did look good, but not worth the $$. They are overpriced compared to others. 60$ for gel fill in & pedicure +2 nail fixes. Nail fixes cost 5$ each, instead of normal 3$. Not sure how much pedi & fill was.

Im writing this review sitting in the chair....You never know that you are meant to be where yu are at that moment....while sitting in the chair the boss of the salon grabbed her employee hand and prayed for her out loud....the employee lost a family member and the fact that the boss acknowledged it really touched my heart....you hear alot of people say IM PRAYING FOR YU...but she really did....i know that prayer wasnt meant for me but I FELT IT because it was LOVE

Nail polish chipped in less than two weeks. Customer service was terrible and they would not honor a repair b/c they said I called too late. Even at the two week mark you could tell my nails were not supposed to look like this. My skin was peeling. Ive never had a problem with gel chipping and skin peeling even at two weeks. And it seemed overpriced gel mani, regular pedi, and eye brows $70. Manager got an attitude with me. I do not recommend this place at all! Highly unprofessional!

I was a faithful Sassy Nail salon customer. I came every two weeks in highschool and saved money to get my nails done here in college. Although the customer service was slack I found comfort in Ally who always does a good job for the most part. I recently went ther for my birthday savinging up 50 dollars for a full set of GEL NAILS 2 days later my nails chipped I called on the 3rd day because not only was my nail chipped but the friend who I had brought from NSU nails had also chipped I called let her know I was coming in and told her that I was bringing my friend to get hers fixed as well.When we arrived Tonya looked at my friends nails and told her that she had burnt her nail wich after a second look we found out was only makeup and she looked at my nail and told me that I chipped it while picking something up.I would usually wait for my regular person but I didn’t due to the fact it is my birthday and I didn’t want to wait for her to finish another persons nail to get to me.I sit in Ms Tonya’s daughters seat she doesn’t smile, or make small talk and she doesn’t even take off the previous polish that is chippedI’m also not convinced she even picked out the correct color but paints over the chipped polish and then says how will I pay.. it’s been three days and I was charged 5 dollars for a service that I could have done at home.As I said I WAS a regular customer but the customer service here is not worth how much I pay to get my nails done.I would no longer bring anyone here a suggest that you do not come here either because if that’s how they treat a regular customer of 4 years then God only knows how they will treat someone coming off the street.

My wife has gone there 3 times and noticed that the owner is very unprofessional and seems to have favorites. Tonight, to say the least we were very disappointed by the way my wifes nail tech was treated. She was yelled at.. Made to sit on the floor... I guess there is a rule that if you are just getting a polish change on your toes that you cant sit in the pedi chair. Thus having to life up your leg on someones knee. My wife has bad knees and couldnt do this but was willing too but her nail tech was first told to sit on a baby stool then eventually having to sit on the floor. The whole time she is being fussed at in a very unprofessional manner. I felt horrible for how she was being treated. Then when my wife was done the owner came and checked my wifes toes and the owner was not satisfied and started yelling at the nail tech again. Thus her having to sit on the floor again. We were highly disappointed as we try to support black owned businesses quite often. After tonight we will not return and we hope and pray that nail tech finds a new job and doesnt let anyone treat them like this again

It took forever to get my nails done, because the tech was going between me and someone who worked there. I wasnt told I was going to have to soak my hands for about 40 mins. Lastly, the quality was very poor. My nails are already starting to dull. Wont be going back.

By far the most I’ve ever spent on mediocre nails, my acrylics are uneven & a bit too thick . It felt like she rushed on my nails & that resulted in a “ok” job . She seemed annoyed when I would ask her to fix the shape/size of my nails . I went here on a whim because it was close & my normal salon is now 30 minutes away . I won’t be back to this salon . While I was there it almost felt like they didn’t want me there . The manager was very loud . While I was there I overheard her lecturing one of the techs about not following proper procedures on nails . I’ll stick to my normal salon for my nails safety & my wallet .
