Awesome experience for someone who needed strength training but avoided it due to fear of being inside in a gym. I needed to improve my strength due to an injury and going on a cat skiing trip in BC in mid Jan. After procrastinating, i finally went to GAIN in Nov 2019. They made me feel comfortable and created a program that absolutely got me ready for my trip in Mid Jan 2020! I have now incorporated GAIN as part of my workout schedule. A shout out to Justin, Alex and Taylor who make me feel comfortable but encourage me, push me and praise me as I progress!
Forever grateful that I found a gym that anyone can be comfortable going to. Justin, Alex and Taylor do a great job of writing programs, showing you how to do them but also teaching why we are doing certain exercises. I’ve been to quite a few gyms and this is the only one that can get me out of bed before 8:00am. Thank you thank you for being so great! 🖤
I have been going to Gain for about six months now. For a few years I knew I needed to do something as I was sedentary at work and I was sedentary at home during the week. In preparation for my wedding and on a recommendation of a friend I gave Gain a try. I have never regretted it.The trainers at Gain are really good at explaining things, showing and correcting so that I know Im doing it right. They will challenge where you need it and modify a workout so you get the most benefit.The two biggest things that make Gain work for me is1. I dont have to think about what Im going to do at the gym. I go in to work out and they have a plan. The variety and challenge make it exciting to see what Ill be doing any day and the intimidation of planning my workout is gone.2. When I dont show up for a few days because life gets in the way people notice that Im not there. This motivates me to show up. The flip side of that is when I miss a few days I dont worry about coming back. I know Ill get right back into it.
I cant express how much I appreciate the coaches and the program at Gain. I receive a personalized workout each month, tailored to my abilities and goals, and there is always something new in each program. The coaches are always ready to assist you, take the time to be sure you understand the purpose of the movement and if you need a modification they help with that also.They celebrate along with you when you achieve your set goals and help set new goals. I cant imagine being anywhere else.
Super-knowledgable staff will design a workout specifically for you and work with you to execute it properly. Great for everyone, but especially great for those of us with issues due to old and bad training habits. These guys will make you stronger and smarter about how you train. Highly recommended!
