Danni was great! Super fast and accommodating easy to talk to. Sue is also great she has a great personality! I have had hair cuts in the past by other places who just insult you but these girls never do they always make it a fun time for a hair cut!

The Smartsytle in Portsmouth, NH is a great place for all your hair care needs. The staff is great which makes all the difference. Pretty good selection of products and services and best of all you can actually get an appointment or walkin. I highly recommend checking them out.

I came here for a perm instead of impulsively doing it at home and wasn’t expecting much out of a salon located in a Walmart besides that they could reach the back of my head more easily than I could. I was wrong. Sue was personable and so positive, and was genuinely excited to do my hair. She listened to what I wanted and adjusted her work accordingly. This was the third perm I’ve ever had done, and the first time that I actually liked it right when I left the salon. Hidden gem right here!

I went in for a haircut and I received a great haircut and had a few good laughs with my stylist as well, I would recommend this Salon to anyone Ive been going there for about a year now and will continue to go there everyone is very friendly and they do it all although I just get a mans haircut but it always comes out perfect and enjoy the atmosphere! You really should check them out and youll feel comfortable and look great also!

I have been getting my hair cut by Mugino for over 4 years. Two years ago, I moved 145 miles north. However, I haven’t changed where I get my hair cut and I still travel 2.5 hours to have my haircut by Mugino every few months. She is very personable and highly skilled, a winning combination for success! As long as she works at SmartStyle, I will be making the trip. She always does an awesome job and it makes the trek down worthwhile. SmartStyle is fortunate to have such a talented staff. The manager Sue does a great job running the Salon. There is no doubt that I’ll be back.

First two times I went they did phenomenal. This 3rd time was terrible and my cut is completely uneven. Wont be going back.

I moved to New Hampshire after having the same barber cut my hair for 15+ years. At first I used to drive the 1 1/2 hours back to Massachusetts every other week just to get my haircut until it became too much. I tried Supercuts a couple of times but just did not get the same personal service I had been accustomed to. I then went to Smart Style while I was in Walmart and met Mugino. Her friendly personality and professionalism was a very welcoming experience. I have never had one bad haircut, or any complaints for that matter, since Mugino has been cutting my hair. It has been almost 3 years now and I can say with great confidence that I will continue to go to Mugino for as long as she’s cutting hair! She also gives a great shampoo too! Not to mention all the money I have saved on gas!!! I highly recommend you go to Smart Style in Portsmouth and introduce yourself to Mugino!!!

Always bad. Used to go get the kids cheap haircuts here but... They are terrible. And not that cheap. Buy some scissors cause youll need to cut all the missed hairs the next day. Go anyplace else. Well supercuts aintf great either but they are definitely better.

Such a fun environment and everyone is wonderful, they treat you like family!
