I have had nothing but the best of experience from John and Louie. They are the most honest and dependable mechanics I have ever come across and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Even during COVID the Dow team are hard at work willing to get repairs done for their customers. If you have ever been cheated out of your money getting auto repairs done anywhere else, you will be happy to know that these two guys are the real deal.

We’ve been going to Dow auto since it was on State and Middle. We had a friend with cancer who had car trouble and they never charged that family for their car repairs.They are always happy and easy to schedule with. I recommend every person I know to give them business since they are truly the most honest business in town.Louie not only fixes all three of our cars but he makes sure we pay the best price and only fix what we have too.If you have any car issues or just need to maintain your car I highly recommend Dow Auto. I’m thankful we found them so many years ago.

Had my registration inspection done here, and the mechanic was super understanding and walked me through my options when my truck didnt pass. Everything he found he explained and showed me where the problem was. I have a rough understanding of cars, and every problem was legitimate. Ill definitely bring my future vehicle here.

My family and I have been going to Dows for as long as I can remember. They have fixed my families cars and my truck countless times. This past week, I brought my truck in and we werent sure what it was. Had some rubber burning smell, some sticking and vibration of sorts. Thought it was the brake but they checked and it wasnt stuck. I brought it in a second time when I felt my rim was super hot. This time the brake had stuck and they found it when I brought it in again. They were nice enough to take what I paid for the original visit off of the cost of the final fix of the brakes. Just good customer service.Their prices are incredibly fair as well. For the last year I have been away from the area and only had the option of going to a Toyota dealership for work. I broke my AC and Toyota quoted me an astronomical amount. I waited until I got back to NH to go to Dows. They quoted me just about half of what Toyota did. Great price and a great job.Lastly, they are incredibly timely. I dont think Ive been without my truck for more than 24 hours... drop off to pick up. Heck, with this last brake issue I dropped it off the night before without talking to them and called them the next morning to let them know I had dropped it off and the issue. Told them to take a few days because I just dropped it without talking to them. He called me back 15 minutes later, had gotten it on the lift and saw the brake issue. Had both of my front brakes rebuilt by end of day. You cant beat that for timely.Dont look any further than Dows. Local family who do a great job, at a great price, in great time.

These people charge to tell you your car is worth nothing to get it towed to a shop that will fix it for half the price. No where near fair bussiness .

Louis Dow is honest. I trust him, which is more than I can say about most business people. Dows prices are fair and the quality of work is excellent.

Car repairs suck but Louie and company are so friendly and honest (and only a mile from my office). Our first visit, over two years ago, saved us over $2,000 compared to the dealership. A number of people in my office use Dow as well.

Have been here once on a friends recommendation and they are just awesome!Very honest and wont charge a penny for something that is not needed.
