The management team as well as the team to assist you the application process are AMAZING. I have personally been in contact with Brittany and she’s amazing at what she does and has great customer service skills. The community is also beautiful and accommodating to military service members. 10/10 recommend.

Ill start with the positive. I really like my apartment. Open concept, full size washer and dryers and overall the leasing staff seem friendly enough. The biggest reason I took this apartment was because they had no breed restrictions or weight restrictions for my dogs. Hence the one star.Cons: Move-In Condition - (a) Upon moving in there was dog feces caked/dried onto my patio. I had to clean and scrub it myself before my husband and I were comfortable using it. (b) Cabinets were not cleaned. I had to clean them all out myself before I could put dishes in there. There was rice and other food left overs from the previous resident. (c) There was a funky smell in our bedroom. My husband caught a lovely sinus infection upon graduating boot camp and happened to share it with me. The Jersey Crude is real folks. Upon moving into the apartment we noticed a funk but couldnt quite tell what it was. As time passed and our sinuses cleared it was definitely dog urine. The complex must have known about it before we moved in because they put those scent crystals in the carpet to try and mask the smell. (d) The carpet near the transition strip is located between the bedroom and living room is fraying. All these things were noted on the move in condition form and were ever addressed. Ive been living here for over a year now. When I brought up the dog urine issue to the maintenance technician, he told me they would be able to use their own carpet cleaner to try get the smell up. I refused because the carpet needed to be replaced and if you were only going to clean it, I have my own carpet cleaner that I can use. I did an enzyme treatment 3 times and used the Arm & Hammer stuff on the carpet to get the smell out. What is really disgusting is after 3 months of living there and the smell still lingered. I then used the enzyme treatment directly on the spot, put a damp white towel on it, and put the bottle to add pressure. I let it sit like that for the whole day. I lifted it up and there were YELLOW STAINS on my towel. 3+ month old urine in my carpet. Thankfully that worked and I havent had issues since. Natures Miracle is amazing product for the pet owners who may be curious.I would highly suggest that you be home when they come to complete work orders. Expect them to come unprepared with the proper equipment to complete your work order. They will use your paper towels during a pandemic while it is hard to find that item. They will use your step ladder and screw drivers when they should have brought their own. Expect them to walk into your apartment during a pandemic without proper PPE gear and allow their contractors to do the same. Expect them to put their foot on your counter top where you prepare food when they have to step up high since again. They didnt bring their own step latter. Since they do not come prepared expect them to come to your apartment 2-3 times unnecessarily.

I am absolutely ecstatic to be joining the the quarters I had the pleasure of working with Tanaja and she went above and beyond to see to it that my experience thus far was one to remember. I received nothing but kindness, care, and diligence during my application process. It’s so heart warming when you encounter people who are passionate about what they do. Thank you so much Quaters for my new home.

It was a nightmare living here. I never had any issues with my actual apartment. However, the front office and parking were my biggest issue. There are so many people who work in the front office, each of them with complete different information. It was pretty annoying when it was time to move out. As for parking, my car was broken into many times and it’s hard to park inside. My motorcycle was stolen while they had security in the parking lot. I definitely do not recommend.

Not worth it! Moved in excited but while unpacking noticed how poorly it was cleaned after the last resident. my house costs less than their two bed room apartment. way overcharged upon move out. my husband and i cleaned top to bottom and they charged us $1856.66 after they charged us for two additional months after we moved out. constant noise complaints for small things (like barking caused by someone knocking) or even noise complaints while the apartment is empty. if you are in the military and decide to move early they will make you pay back your military discount. no security and they dont care about saftey of the residents. my alarm didnt work a single day and i requested a fix multiple times as i was alone at night and it was never fixed. i can go on but will just advise to research before you decide to stay here

This property is beautiful and the prices are tough to beat. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the apartments are very spacious and all come with a balcony which is a huge plus for me. The leasing agent named Nicole showed us around the community and she absolutely did an amazing job! Super friendly and she made us feel like she truly cares! We were unable to apply do to the fact that I got a job offer in Virginia Beach.. I would happily recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking around Portsmouth area!

Very nice facilities and very friendly staff. My spouse and I stayed while i had training for the Navy (very close to the hospital), staff would often organize parties and functions for the residents to come together and would be fun for adults as well as children. Staff was very respectful and got to know most people in the complex. Maintenance staff was just as friendly and even quicker on repairs. Close to the down town portion of Portsmouth which has several nice restaurants within walking distance.

The building is beautiful but here’s some things you should know before you consider living here! My husband & I have lived here for almost a year and it’s been an experience. Our apartment is very pretty with stainless steal appliances and the rent, maintenance, & Utilities is all paid and requested on an app, which is nice. However, the building constantly smells like weed & dog pee( from people not cleaning up after their dogs). We can’t even keep the fan off in our bathroom Bc cigarette smoke from a surrounding unit seeps in constantly and smells up our entire house. The maintenance man said “just keep your bathroom fan on”. We’ve also had a leak in our bathroom twice & when it first happened we were told it’s just a temporary fix & it’s going to happen again. Which it did during the tiny hurricane (isaias) & it completely soaked our bathroom floor, so it was fun cleaning that before work. You’re only given one parking pass and they WILL tow you if you park in here without one. Also even though this place is dog breed friendly, I wouldn’t recommend bringing your dog here. The dog run is small and you’re not even allowed to let your dog off the leash to run. The people in the front are semi nice but don’t expect to ever get a package if you get off after 5 o’clock because that’s when the office closes. The apartment paint is cheep & shows every bit of dirt & grease on it. Especially over the stove. It’s overpriced but so is every place for rent in Hampton roads because everyone knows military is here. So if you can find a place elsewhere then I would, just for the space & money. I have a 1 bedroom and it costs me over 1200 every month. Keep in mind I have one parking spot, no garage, a tiny balcony andabout 700sq feet & that’s with my military discount. PSA to all stationed at Portsmouth Naval hospital & looking for a place to stay: find somewhere in Suffolk or Chesapeake. Also to break this lease cost you more than it does to move in here.

Moving in was simple. Ive moved all over the country, but I am native to Hampton Roads. I absolutely LOVE my apartment. By far the best staff and you get the most for your money. Maintenance is quick, but hardly ever needed. Definitely recommend living here. I feel safe and its very clean.

We had a lease for 2 years at the Quarters. Super fast maintenance the elevator was a huge plus only 2 complaints one being the location and 2 the noise from neighbors. Our maintenance man Brian was awesome such a friendly soul! If you need something by the shipyards or NMCP quarters are the way to go.

My daughter lives here and she absolutely loves it. The apartment is perfect for young and old. The amenities are outstanding and the staff are awesome! The only thing I disagree with is it not being completely gated, but the buildings still have controlled access. I would recommend anyone to this place! It’s very very nice!

We have been here for almost a year. And have nothing but good things to say about this apartment complex. Staff is very nice always greet you with a smile & help with any concerns you may have. Maintenance issues get solved relatively quickly. I love that not just anyone can walk into our building elevators are a plus! We have security at night. Grounds are always clean and well kept. When it snowed last year they had people hired to clear it up. The only downside is The surrounding area isn’t the nicest but location being right next to the naval medical hospital and shipyards is great! Beautiful apartments inside and out!

I stayed here at The Quarters @ Parkview from Feb. 2016 to Dec.2016. We moved early due to military orders. But our stay here was great. Location was great; close to the tunnels and the Naval Hospital. I never had any issues. They changed management personnel once during the time but they were still great and accommodating. Brian, one of the maintenance personnel, is nice and friendly. Whenever I had any issues with the apartment, maintenance was there either the same day or the following. All issues were always taken care of in a timely manner. We stayed on the first level and never had any noise issues. Never had any parking issues or any “break-in” issues. They have people come clean the hallways in the building every week. I would highly recommend.

This is by far one of the nicest communities in Portsmouth and in a great location! The apartments are very nice and fairly priced since you also get a gorgeous pool, the awesome clubhouse with game room, fitness center, etc. The buildings are also controlled-access which is a great feature. The staff there are AMAZING- very nice and professional and truly dedicated to the community and the residents. Brenda and Jeanie are so great to work with, and really take pride in making the Quarters at Park View an awesome place to live! I would recommend this community to anyone!

Beautiful apartment complex and friendly staff, but poorly built apartment complex. I was really excited upon moving in to my new apartment, but now I am dealing with a noise issue. The ceiling fan shakes when my upstairs neighbors are walking and sounds very loud, and my next door neighbors music is always audible through the wall. This is a constant issue. I’ve even filed a noise complaint with no resolve.

Nice looking building, staff was nice. But when I stayed there a few years ago our building caught on fire and without fire detectors going off. They seemed to have deleted anything to do with the fire from Facebook to let people know that their buildings look nice but are very cheap and violates fire codes.

Really nice when we first moved in, had a deal going on for about a month and a half of prorated-no rent! We enquired about moving to another 1bed/1bath apartment after living here for more than half of our lease. There was no deal, so wed pay about 1500 for one bedroom AND they wanted 400 dollars for us to transfer like we hadnt been living here without issues longer than 6 months. Its great there are no breed restrictions but they will assume it to be one pet/owner in the whole community not cleaning up and will leave a letter saying theyve saw it on multiple occasions but yet have never said anything in person. And we ALWAYS clean up, other dogs just happen to go in the same area. They switch ladies in and out of the office staff so what one person tells you may or may not be what the next person tells you also so it can be confusing.

The only reason i dont give these apartments a 5 star rating is just because of the area around it. There has been a few crime instances, but the staff hired extra security personnel and had an arrangement with the Portsmouth police department so theyd drive by regularly. These are beautiful apartments, but theyre a little expensive for the area in my opinion. The staff has always been great to my and the maintenance staff are always helpful and fast. Parking isnt too much of an issue, and elevators in each building is nice. I love living here.

Way overpriced for what you get with the poor construction and cheap appliances. Noise is a constant irritation here along with the lack of parking. Cars always get broken into and gates were never installed on the entrances as promised so homeless will constantly prowl through the area at night and will harass you for money. There was also a bad fire 3 years ago that caught allot of people by surprise because fire alarms did not go off and peoples belongings were stolen by cleanup crews brought in after the fire and nails and screws were left all over the parking lot also. There are pet fees that are added on top of a pet deposit like pet rent which is a scam to milk more money out of people. Not a pleasant place to live at all.

I liked:-My rent was around $900 with discounts, for a 1 bedroom. Spacious, but expensive for the area, but it worked for me, my preferences, and my lifestyle.-The clubhouse was very convenient, especially having a pool and computer lab.I did not like that:- Advertised as luxury but the appliances and construction are pretty cheap. Not bad though.- The staff/ladies (primarily the manager, but a few others) in the office are rude, very condescending. If you can deal with nicety, then they are the epitome of it. Its almost like a criteria to work there. **thumbs down** on most of the office staff.-SO annoying when the owner would have random meetings in computer lab & we couldnt access it. Yet, if you have a private event, you have to still allow everyone access to all areas of the clubhouse.-Parking was horrible. Why not have at least one assigned parking space per unit since they claim that it should be enough parking spaces? No visitors parking really.- Upon move out, they definitely got over. smh.3. Just dont expect luxury living at this place. Hopefully Portsmouth will boost its economy soon, because otherwise this place will probably be sold and rents much cheaper. The quality of the construction and maintenance is not up to par.Overall, its one of the nicer places to live in Portsmouth. I would recommend it for that but not recommend based on luxury living.

They are very expensive and not worth the price, paying over $1200 for a small one bed room one bathroom in PORTSMOUTH is not worth it. Look forward to getting your car broken into multiple times the apartments are nice but the area is not. Its always a weird smell. The elevators are EXTREMELY SLOW the hardwood flooring is a very cheap material that was coming up when we moved in, the walls are thin you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing. The landlords try to be friendly but they are only money hungry, bias & nosey. We requested our apartments to get sprayed for ants they never sprayed after giving us the run arounds. Ohh and if you get off work late expect to park on the street. Its never any parking spaces, you would expect to have a parking spot if your are paying over $1200 for rent but that doesnt happen. And be prepared to get screwed over when you do move out. I wouldnt recommend anyone one to stay here unless you work at the shipyard or hospital, the only convenience is the location, and plan on using the tunnel if you want to go somewhere nice. Its nothing really worth going in Portsmouth.

I wouldnt even give this place one star if I could.Jeanie Gordon the property manager has to be one of the worst humans/ property managers I have ever met. My husband and I had an incident with her where she didnt even know her own lease, and then proceeded to get upset that we called her out. That lady has no idea what she is doing, and has no business running a property. Multiple times my husband and I had to go over her head to whitmore management to get things done. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that Brandon and fred, the maintance team were wonderful! In a few years time the quarters will be going downhill and I wont be sad to see it go. To pay 1260 for cheap bells and whistles is ridiculous, especially in Portsmouth. Dont even attempt to look at this place when in search for your new home.
