I was just there about an hour again the service was so amazing I love my nails I love that they took their time to make them perfect ! I will definitely go back the whole place is so nicely designed and clean ! I loved everything about it !

I have been getting my nails done at Venice Nails since May of this year and I keep coming back the nails last like 2 to 3 weeks before they start late in coming off the owner does great nail art and its just a great experience there friendly the place is clean nice atmosphere I just love going there

First and last time at this salon. Went here after reading positive reviews- just to be disappointed. I needed my acrylic nails removed and a new set on. I wanted a professional to remove my acrylics so that I wouldnt rip my delicate natural nail trying myself. However, the professional used a nail trimmer to trim and rip the acrylics off and tore my natural nails. If I wanted my natural nails destroyed, I would have done it myself. I expected a professional to trim, drill, and/ or soak my acrylics to gently remove. Then, while filing the new acrylics, my finger was cut and bled. As it bled the professional put a drop of glue on it- to stop bleeding?? Anyway, I am left with painful and destroyed natural nails beneath new acrylics.

This is the best nail salon I have ever been to! The staff is so kind and professional, especially Lynn. She fixed my nails and eyebrows up really good, I am so grateful!

I recently moved to Portland and was looking for a nail salon and based on google I decided to go to VNS Nails and Spa. I was not disappointed. The place is very nice inside and my nail technician did a great job on my pedicure. But I will definitely be back.

Friendly, clean, professional and welcoming. Came here for my first manicure while my fiancé got her nails done as we had talked about it before and decided this would be a fun day to do it. We called ahead to check availability and we scheduled an appointment within the hour. They confirmed what we wanted done and sent a confirmation text with the details. When we arrived they greeted us by name indicating they were prepared for us. They confirmed our services and explained the various options to me as this was my first time getting a manicure.The tech did a great job, payed attention to detail and explained what she was doing and why. She made conversation and kept it flowing to keep the time passing in a pleasurable, yet relaxing, way. Nails turned out great and the whole experience was very relaxing and not awkward as I had feared.The facility is very clean and they have explanation slides educating you on the various sanitation measures they take to ensure cleanliness.They were very festive as well with holiday music playing and everyone was very friendly.Overall great experience and I would not hesitate to return.

Got a pedicure, it was very pleasant, almost put me to sleep! I highly recommend going here over the nail salon across the street. The staff here is kind and cares about making your nails perfect.

My pedicure was amazing but I would say if you do decide to go here, whatever you do, do not let the male presenting person do your nails. They made me bleed, gel polished my nails to my skin, and eventually another person had to take over to try and fix everything that went wrong. 2 hours spent on just my manicure alone was just not worth it.

I had Lynn as my nail tech and she did everything so carefully, clean and professional. I will be coming back for sure. Definitely recommend !! This place deserves more recognition

My 1st time getting a pedicure this year and when I went to take off my nail polish. I now have fungus on one if my toes and can almost completely lift it up. I have been getting pedicures since I was a teen and have NEVER had fungus on any nail!! I will never go back nor will I recommend this place to anyone. I know for a fact that it is this location which used to be called newyork nails on lombard as I have been going here for years off and on but no longer the case!!

Very nice people that offer a range of services with the pricing based on a range of services from basic to ultra deluxe. They are planning to expand the services they offer too. I got the deluxe pedicure and it was wonderful! Nice long leg and foot massage and the products they use made the skin on my legs feel noticeably tighter and softer. They are expanding their hours to Sunday also. I HIGHLY recommend VNS Nails and Spa!

I’ve been here twice and have been so PLEASED and not to mention relaxed after my pedicure. This place is very clean, professional and not one to over charge! This is mine and daughters new place to get pampered. Try them and you won’t be disappointed!

Starting off my review by sharing that my friend and I are from out of town and in Portland for a work trip. We found VNS on google and read some of their awesome reviews and had to check it out!We called to make an appointment and they told us to come in right away! Ann was an amazing nail technician. I’ve had a full set for the last couple of months and wanted to change it up. She soaked off my nails and educated me on why it’s good to give your nails a break! She was awesome and it was a blast hanging out with her for an hour! Thanks Ann :)

Every nail tech here is incredible. I think the place is GREAT. They do a great job, are super friendly and reasonable in cost for a manicure that cant be beat. If you want the spa experience, then go to the spa and pay for it. You get what you pay for and I think its pretty darn good. Ill be back

Ive been coming here for a year, and I have enjoyed my experience every time. Theyve always done a great job. I have thin cuticles, and they bleed easily. I always let them know beforehand, and they are always careful. The staff is always pleasant and I always feel accommodated. I definitely recommend this place.

I love this place !! Its so clean! Everyone is so nice! My nails always look amazing! They really take their time and its literally one of the best pedicures Ive ever had! And their gel nails actually last almost 2 weeks which is how it should be !! Ive gone other places in the area where it chips the next day. Now I only go here. Amazing place! Im extremely satisfied with my visit today. Ive been to every salon in the area and Im extremely picky but for once I am pleased. This place was clean and relaxing, the employees were very nice, the girl that did my pedicure did a great job she took her time and paid close attention to details. I made an appointment for an acrylic gel fill in advance and was seen as soon as I arrived. My nail tech was very friendly, gentle and attentive with my hands. He cracked a few jokes and put my anxiety at ease. He wasnt pushy and did not try to persuade me to add designs or anything extra. The outcome was exactly what I wanted. The acrylic on my nails is a thin layer and in person they almost look natural.

I made an appointment for a fill and nail color change for my little piggies. My nail tech filled my nails and put a perfect shellac coat on my nails faster than anyone Ive ever gone to. My piggies were stubborn. Because Im a wimp, I requested to have my shellac soaked off. They was so patient and caring. After a tedious soaking, slight buffing, a new coat of shellac to match my fingernails was applied with precision and care. I am wowed! Thank you VNS NAILS & SPA! You were fantastic! Thank you for being patient with this high maintenance women.

Wow! I don’t know how I’ve missed this place before! The service was exceptional. I had the longest, most relaxing pedicure! Even though I came in 45 minutes before closing on a Friday night, Lynn reassured me that she would be happy to give me a deluxe pedi. And she spent about an hour and a half to help me relax! Never had a sense of being rushed. Lynn and her husband are the owners and they both were working tonight, and obviously care to treat their customers well!

The owner did my nails and she did such an amazing job! I loved her work :) she was also very patient which is a huge plus! She is also very nice, I highly recommend her. I will definitely go back!

I like this place, Ive been to 5 star nails a total of two visits to have a pedicure. Technician does a great job and the prices are reasonable. I have nothing to complain about, the chairs were clean, the salon is well lit and sanitary measures(gloves, tank liners)are standard practice which makes me feel comfortable. I called ahead for my 2nd visit to make sure I could get in, my first visit I walked in and had no wait. My feet feel great when I leave and I will return.

It’s a good place went to go get shellac manicure and there tools are clean and out of a package. They seat me right away when I got there. They did really good job and they are nice persons. 💅🏼

Ive been coming here for years and would never go anywhere else! Unlike many other nail salons Ive been to, the staff is so friendly and fun to talk to! They remember your name and how you like your nails done. They will do whatever design or shape youd like even if they havent done it before they will figure out how! Ive never had to wait longer than 5-10 mins, even as a walk in.I usually get a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Both last nearly a month (and I am rough on my nails due to my job). Definitely my favorite nail salon in Portland!!I just wanted to add that over two years later I still have only been coming here and still think its absolutely the best! I recently tried a different Salon in a high end hotel downtown Portland as I was staying there and 4 out of 10 nails chipped within a week, 6 out of 10 chipped nails later Ive learned my lesson NEVER to cheat on VNS NAILS & SPA again!!!!! They last easily 3-4 weeks here and never chip, only need to be redone due to outgrowth. Love VNS NAILS & SPA!

Also the nail techs actually listen to what I want and actually do it. I also have to bring my child and they are very nice to him and understanding. I recommend them to everyone

It is one of the nicest spa in Portland I really enjoyed my experience. They have wonderful costumer service I absolutely recommend this place hands down.

The staff was so helpful and my mani pedi was so cute and cheap! As I was getting my pedicure, I showed the staff like 3 different gel swatches and described what it wanted. I figured theyd just do whatever when it was time for the manicure, but they were so great and came back with a new (perfect) swatch to make sure it was what I wanted. I cant wait to go back and try new colors.

Great service, clean shop, good prices! You can usually get in with no wait for a pedicure. I dont do finger nails but seems like it would be better to make an appointment. This is my Go-To.

Went there two weeks ago to get a new set of solar nails. On their board the price was 35. I got charged 45 for the set. The nails are to thick and had a big grown out in the first week.. I wont be going back there

I got my eyelashes done 2yrs ago here and it was beautiful, today was not the same experience I got blamed for not getting what I paid for, she didnt want to take v responsibility for using Scotch tape and not applying it for less movement plus she read impatient. Never go here for lashes, you will be disappointed.

I called for a same day appt and they were able to get me in within a half hour for a gel mani and classic pedi. When i got there i mentioned i might want some nail art. They didnt have time for that but while i was getting my pedi (the owner?) She came over and had worked it out so I could get what I had asked for even though it wasnt my initial request. They were so accommodating and nice. It was a really great atmosphere. Super efficient and great quality work!I would definitely recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back!

I always get hooked up here. I love that you have to schedule an appointment so you arent waiting a hour for a chair and are given that time with no rush.

Went for a regular mani pedi. Made an appointment so didnt have to wait at all. They did my pedi and mani, and both were great. I loved how they didnt rush me out when I was done but actually wanted me to wait as long as I could so that my nail paint dried. Will definitely be back.

I got a shellac manicure with french tips. It was a pretty basic manicure - no frills - but my nails looked great. I did wish that the french tips were a tad smaller but thats a minor detail. The manicurist was pretty quiet, Im guessing because her English was a bit limited but she was very friendly. I will be back for sure because I like how my nails look. I used to go to another salon but they were always trying to upsell you or make you buy a nail kit.

As my first official google post, I wanted to say that this is a great nail salon. I just moved to the area from NY and I think that it can be difficult to find a good, all around nail salon with attentive nail technicians that do a good job.To be honest I completely forgot the name of the woman who took care of me. But she was very sweet, asked questions to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, and really took her time. Mind you, I was there at 10:30AM on a Friday so it wasnt super busy. Regardless, she massaged each of my legs for 10-15 minutes for a basic pedicure. So side note: you may have to let them know you need quick service and need to be in and out if thats what youre looking for.Both my mani and pedi look great. The place is clean enough and spacious with a lot of chairs. Lots of colors to choose from and seems like they had a bunch of nail technicians on hand. Their mani/pedi and they have other combo deals whether youre looking for gel manicure/pedicure or regular. Reasonably priced and worth it.Lastly, the music they played naturally made me happier. For millennials like me who care about the vibes, this was an added bonus.

Horrible if you think you can come here and just go to anybody for a pedicure NO horrible service and have the nerves to charge 22+ for a pedicure. Not once did the lady use soap on my feet. All my toe nails are different lengths like dang I cant even get them cut and filled all the same. Dream nails and top nails are 10x better for a cheaper price. This place look clean and nice but they work is horrible never coming back here! I would rate it a zero If I could.

My friend and I went there for her to get a simple pink, square full set, it became ugly when the nail technician did not know what she was doing, we actually showed her a picture of what she wanted first before she started and the nail lady said she could do it.. Ummm WRONG. She did a horrible job and on top of it didnt finish the nails and charged her for a full set price😤 We were warned by various people not to go to this place but didnt listen! PLEASE LISTEN and do not waste your time or money there. Awful place and horrible service! -1

The list is long... they only have 1 legit nail technician. They overbook her and move you to an untrained person when too many clients come in. Pretend not to know what you’re saying when it’s inconvenient for them but had no issues understanding any other conversation. My pedi took 2 hours... no joke, by a young girl who forced the pedi on me after I said 4 times I only want a polish change. Maybe things like this are why my first time in 2 women stormed out.

Normally Im happy but I call and make an appointment for full set/ pedi. Ive been waiting for my pedi so long my water is cold. If you are doing a customers nails wouldnt you do their toes as well? Im drying off my feet and going home. This is ridiculous.

Man this was my place till lynn double booked and refused to do my nails i go 3 to 4 times weekly so i was upset i couldnt get the apt i made hours earlier and instead of resolving the issue she looked at me crazy her works been slipping and anne cant paint nails to save her life im never going back they lost my business

My girlfriends first time getting a manicure. The lady that did her nails seemed like she didnt know what she was doing. Before she did anything she talked to the lady next to her and she showed her. She cut her cuticle back way to far and her fingers hurt her for more than a week

I had an appointment, I arrived on time, I was rushed the from the time I got there. I do read reviews on these place, they were mixed so I gave them a shot. I got the dude and his work was sloppy. I have worn acrylics​ for a very long time so I know the steps. There several skipped, resulting in rough, poorly shaped nails.

Yes, like stated before they hurt your nails . My nails are burning in pain! The husband Tony can not . I repeat can not do nails. This is my second time going there getting my nails done ans its always a horrible job . Then he gets mad when you ask them anything about your nails.Terrible I know better to to go back, Now I have to go to another place to get them filed down because he act like it was a problem doing that. I mean even the nail polish was terrible smh.

I absolutely love Lynn! Every single time I go in for a fill, I now I give her a challenging project in nail art, but she slays every time without fail! She gets the shape right & makes everything quick & painless. Ive even had her multitask, working on my fill while my toes were getting finished. Shes great! Her employees are always friendly as well.
