So happy with my first visit. Tyson did an amazing job! ❤🥰 Im so grateful to him and the tech who did my pedicure. The last nail tech I had a (at a different location) didnt do the best job and Tyson spent extra time on my messy nails to make sure this set will actually last. The chairs were nice, the staff was friendly and they seem like they actually take pride in their work (I didnt feel like they just wanted to rush me out). Im happy I decided to stop in Van Salon today. 💅🏻

I always have a great experience at Van Nail Salon! The staff is professional and friendly, and they do a great job with manicures and pedicures (gel, dip and regular polish). I came in with a Pinterest idea for my gel manicure and Tyson brought it to life, I love it! The whole staff is wonderful but we love to get time with Van, Chi and Tyson.

I had an amazing Experience at this nail salon! Had an evening appt. 6pm. And Van and Anna took amazing care of me! Got a regular pedicure done by Anna, and full set holiday nails by Van. They were closing and still made me feel like I did not have to rush or leave. Van had to finish up and Anna stayed behind to keep her company and doing so she offered to paint my daughters nails as well. The sweetest nail techs I have ever met and I cant wait to come back for my next design! I love my holiday nails❤

Anytime I need my nails done 💅 I go here! They are always very helpful & get the job done. My gal Van is my go to lady, she is the sweetest, nicest nail tech I have ever had the pleasure sitting across from. I always feel bad when I ask for something a little different or extra but she never has a problem doing it. This time she OUT DID herself!!!If you need someone who will listen to you & cares about her customers as for Van. She is the BOMB!

I love this nail salon. I haven’t gotten my nails done for 1 1/2 and they still remembered who I was!! I got a full shellac set and it turned out spectacular. Their attention to details is amazing. Even after one hand was done and looked good; apparently one of the nails had a small bump so it was quickly filed and repainted. Highly recommend this nail salon!!

Very disappointed.The person over the phone was nice but when I came in for my appointment the person helping me, an older lady, was not interested or friendly. The other couple employees I saw working seemed to be more nice and friendlyAlso while I was there several employees were eating on the floor with masks off and talking for quite a while. This is unprofessional and not safe with covid. Worst of all, I called and specifically asked if they accept credit cards. The lady said they do. When I went to pay, the nail lady told me to get money out from the ATM. I really did not want to, but she insisted I would not be charged a fee. Well guess what, I was definitely charged a fee. I feel that is extremely dishonest untruthful and I wont ever return or recommend this place to anyone. I see this happened before to other people in the reviews. Please stop telling people you accept cards and then asking people to withdraw from the ATM and get fees. Thats not very nice and bad business. Either say cash only or accept cards, but dont be misleading. We work hard for our money and its not fair to be charged fees because you want to be paid in cash.

Had my nails done for the first time in a while today. Kim was fast and gentle, plus did an excellent job on my hands. Ive already made an appointment to return.

We had to wait 30 minutes for a scheduled appointment. My cuticles are a mess and and not done properly, my nail polish was chipped off after 48 hours. My toe nail has been cut down the side, which should never happen as it leads to ingrowing toe nails, I wont go back there.

Van Nail Salon never disappoints! I have been here for more than two years now and every time I come I’m always happy with the results! The owners are super nice and talented, all the nail tech are friendly and talented too!

Vans is the only nail salon I go to. Every technician does a great job. Flawless dip manicures, shellac and pedicures. They also have taken every precaution with putting up safety plastic guards and wearing masks makes it feel as safe as possible. Highly recommend!

Wasn’t very happy with the work. Seemed to be very rushed and my nails weren’t even after filing. The tips of my nails didn’t have polish on them, which is usually done to make it look better. When ready to pay, he pointed at the atm and said I needed to withdraw cash. The atm says no fee yet I was still charged a fee for withdrawal. I tipped on top for the services and with the fee, I felt a bit ripped off. Not coming back and only going to my salon I’ve been going to for years.

Shout out to Van Nail Salon, as I was having my pedicure today the owner was spaying alcohol disinfectant on front door handle, then he went around and sprayed all the chairs backs and seats . I watched as the rest of the staff did the same thing on all the pedicure chairs, touch screens to operate the chairs, and nail tables..It was awesome to see the care they are taking to protect us..Anna does an amazing job as usual on my feet..

Walked in tonight for the first time, expecting to make an appointment for a few days out. I was taken right in and started my pedicure immediately. I know that this was pure luck, and scheduled my next pedicure on the way out. Dang was efficient and professional and only tickled my feet a couple of times. The complimentary small margarita was just icing on the cake. Thanks, Dang and Van Nails!

Left salon with THICK & bumpy shellac on my nails. Color (white) was not coming out right and the nail tech asked if I had washed my hands with soap, as if to say it’s my fault your nail polish is not coming out right? I did not wash my hands with soap as I was told not to. Will not be coming back here. Pedi was okay but my toe nails are uneven. Definitely not worth $56.

Ive been going to this salon for a few years now and it is the only one where I feel at home with the super friendly staff. Ive tried other places but I know when I come back here, I can count on Tyson to do a beautiful job on my nails. I usually get french acrylic with white powder tips an he does a great job. Mine are square with rounded corners and he has a good understanding of my requests and asks questions or shows examples if hes not sure. They are also punctual with my appointments which is so appreciated when Im fitting it into my busy schedule. Love the atmosphere and the people!

Terrible customer service. 4 of my nails are bleeding and the dip colors don’t match the sample colors. My nails looked better before coming in.

Went in for a full set last week and they did the worst job. Didn’t clean up my nail beds just went straight into putting the acrylic on. Then another customer came in and asked for the lady already helping me which then made her rush to get mine done when I had an appointment and the other lady didn’t. She rushed to throw them on and I had to ask her to correct bumps on them. She didn’t but a base coat on before the shellac color and didn’t put a top coat on either. And completely skipped the hand/arm massage at the end. Waste of money only to be treated like that. I recommend you go somewhere that they actually do a good job for the amount of money.

Ive been going to Van Nails for probably 5 years now. Some of their nail techs are better than others but Ive come away satisfied and often even thrilled over 90% of the time. I have always seen them use sterilized tools. Their pedicures are particularly relaxing. I love that they really DO massage your legs for a long, long time! Even guys like this place, including my he man who had never had a pedicure and really enjoyed his experience there recently! I am sure Ill be a loyal customer for many years to come.

Chi and Tyson are amazing. I’ve been been coming to Van Nail Salon for 7 years. Now I’ve moved 35 minutes, sometimes and hour away depending on traffic, and I still make that drive to have amzing service and and amazing finish product. Since I’ve moved I’ve tried a few places near me and I am never happy, never satisfied. They also do the job right. I will always make the drive to see them.

This nail salon is a block from my house, and Ive been going here for the past 3 years, and I cant believe its taken me this long to write a review! Their lowest priced pedicure at $25 is amazing, includes paraffin wax, hot lotion, a great massage and great attention to detail. Every time I go in they are adding things to make the experience even better, and now even offer wine and cocktails- complimentary! I am very impressed with this nail salon, and would recommend it to anyone! I never get the same person twice, which used to worry me at other salons, but here, they all have the same level of service. I worked in this field for 10 years as a cosmetologist and am not one to give this kind of review unless I mean it. Treat yourself to an affordable and amazing pedicure!

I’m really disappointed that I chose this salon and I don’t recommend it to anyone at all. The person who worked on my nails was boy. He was so rude and he was on rush and wanted to finish his work really soon and then leave the salon. First I want to do Shellac Manicure and Pedicure but I changed my mind and requested for regular French Polish and that’s why he didn’t like my decision so he just did quick Manicure and Pedicure. He didn’t put my arm in bowl of water and he just used some kind of liquid instead of. And also arm massage and conditioning are included in regular Manicure but he didn’t do that as well because of changing my mind to French Polish. They deducted just $3. Paid $47 for having stressful time not relaxing time!

The people here were nice so I hate to leave a bad review. Ive never been so badly hurt with drills before, my cuticles are all cut up and after two days they still hurt like crazt when washing my hands. The woman that did my acrylic nails doesnt seem to have the most experience however when Im repeatedly jerking my hand away because of how im being hurt that should send a message for someone else to take over. I wont be returning to this salon.

It has been a long time since Ive been in a nail salon that made me feel like I was home, friendly staff, great service, complimentary drinks and large TVS turned to the world cup the day I was in. Being a guy getting a pedicure and manicure alot of salons didnt quite understand how to help me best my job destroys my hands and my nails on my feet were starting to grow down and in and couldnt fix myself. They didnt blink twice when I walked in with no appointment just got me to a chair and fixed me straight up, wonderful relaxing experience got the hot stone pedicure and my feet are feeling awesome and my nails are going to grow straight. Walk-in welcome and they take appointments if you want to pamper yourself come in and give them a try, One last bit Cash only but they have a no fee ATM for your convenience. Am definitely going back when I need.

I tried this place because my usual place is closed on Sundays. I felt bad that I could wait till Monday almost immediately. I made an appointment but wasnt see until 20 mins after and it was rushed as she was going from me to another customer. I noticed upon sitting down the towel under my hands was dirty and unchanged after a few customers and I brought my own supplies for hygiene but they used their own. I looked online to see how much the acrylic tips were and it said $25, it was my fault that I never asked. I was told at the end to pay $35. That said the job done was great, nails were done well, uniform and to my liking. The right size and shape but just may be just that person, store seems to have bad policies.

Im really disappointed in my most recent visit. I have come here a handful of times in the last several years and always had a pretty decent experience (which is the only reason I didnt rate this a 1). However this visit was different. Granted, I havent been there in about 2.5 years. At any rate, I came in with my step daughters (19&13) on their vacation, here, to get a variation of Manis and pedis. The first guy doing my acrylics was fine, although I had to ask to shape my own nails because he couldnt understand what I meant by square with rounded edges. They charged for nail files. My oldest daughter got a shellac which cost more than our full acrylic sets. Her nail tech not only gave us all dirty looks throughout our services, but she also said some pretty racist things to my mixed daughter about her freckles and skin tone (that she should move here from San D, so her skin/freckles would lighten up.) She clipped her nails but didnt file them and glopped the shellac in the corners of her nails, and didnt cover her free edges (which anyone who does or gets shellac knows that defeats the purpose.)On to our other techs.My youngest daughter was getting her very first acrylic set, and the nail tech filed all her nails so vigorously that all of her fingers were raw and uncomfortable for a couple days afterward. I had a tech change for my pedi. Our techs both did a poor job on our polish, and our massages consisted of being rubbed repeatedly over and over in the he same spot on both of our shins until it became exceedingly uncomfortable. My pedi tech was super short with me, and kept putting my feet in uncomfortable positions, ignoring my complaints, yet commenting on my feet shaking. After we left all of our anxieties were so bad that we just went home. Not a happy start to a vacation.I didnt notice until a couple days later that my pedi tech had filed the corners of my toenails into my nail beds, resulting in discomfort that will likely now lead to an ingrown toenail. As a trained tech myself, this is unacceptable. Everyone knows that you do not file toenails into the corners for this reason. Im so displeased with this experience than I cant even really dive in to it all. At 30 years old, Ive never had a bad pedicure before, and Ive been through beauty school.I feel like I wasted a colossal amount of money. We paid a hefty amount for all 3 of us to have a poor experience. All of our nails were sloppy. It is not likely that Ill return to this establishment, again, after this. Kinda sad.

I work nearby but live in Milwaukie but even on off days drive here for my mani/Pedi. Im very hard on my nails at work and many people have ask how i keep my nails intact. I tell them its how they do them at Van Nails, Ive went 5 weeks without a fill and have no lifting! Ive went through many shops and this is the only one from Gresham to Beaverton that does them exactly how I want them and withstand abuse! Thanks!
