I visited Aspen Dental for an initial checkup and x-rays. Everyone on the staff was friendly and professional. I only had to wait a few minutes before I was taken care of, and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day to repair a chipped tooth that they discovered. Overall, I was happy with my visit.
My experience with Aspen dental at this location was a great one. My hygienist name was Paige. I had a deep teeth cleaning as you well know that requires very sharp instruments and some type of drill yet she handled the procedure with kid gloves. My appointment was at 7:00 a.m. and I was brought in promptly. I was afforded a payment plan that was reasonable for my pocketbook. All in all I had a pleasant experience.
He whole team has been very kind and helpful! I had a problem tooth before I got pregnant and it progressed as my pregnancy went on.Aspen team was able to see me immediately, schedule a root canal for the next week and a crown the week after and made sure I had any and all payment information I needed!I cannot thank them enough for taking care of me so well and promptly! :)
Simply amazing, very pleased. They all are so professional so organized and efficient. They truly enjoy their profession and when your there the staff allow you to feel as if your the only patient, no matter how busy it is and their as quick as a blink of an eye! Ive never seen anything like this dental facility ever in my life!.Thank you, Apen Dental
I had the best experience ever!! They were fantastic. From the beginning to the end results...they were very professional every experience I had was great!! I cannot stop looking at myself in mirrows and cannot stop smiling!! Thank you so much!!!!!
The staff was so awesome. They made me feel so relaxed and important. I would recommend them over and over. Thanks
Super easy to make an appointment. Super helpful with any extra steps needed, and they offer financial assistance to those who need it. Went in for a consultation, needed a few more things and they made time in the schedule to get it done so things could move forward! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist!
I am not a fan of going to the dentist, but the folks at Aspen dental are great. They most likely know people dont like the dentist, but they are all very up beat and have a great sense of humor.
Go somewhere else DO NOT COME HERE.I got my wisdom teeth taken out and had to take out a credit card because they told meMy insurance didn’t cover much of it. I paid off the credit card within a month and thought that was that. Fast forward two years later I get a letter saying they are sending me to collections because I never paid anything. They said my insurance denied me but when I contacted my insurance they never received a claim. So they not only sent me to collections, made me take out a credit card, but every time I call for a refund they keep saying call back next week. The customer service is terrible, they staff is terrible, I wish I had the money to sue them.
As of March 2021: They dont have a Dental Hygienist on staff! I called and this Aspen Dental doesnt even currently employ one. Then they suggested they are quickly trying to train a rookie. like- come on, man. They clearly pay bottom of the barrel & thats why they cant do teeth cleanings right now. Normal hygiene appts? Nope, not here.
The dental assistant, hygienist and financial consultant were all very kind, but I was so incredibly upset when I left my appointment. First of all, Im visibly pregnant and made sure it was known I was pregnant on the forms I filled out prior to my appointment. They gave me an x-ray without asking when the last time I had x-rays was (It was a year ago so I could have sent them my records). Then, when I asked if the x-rays were definitely safe to do while pregnant (after they had already done one), the assistant said Yeah, I was just thinking that. Let me ask to make sure. I ended up calling my doctor, and I was told that I should absolutely not get any x-rays while pregnant. I should have known, but I really trusted that the dental associates knew what they were doing! The dentist didnt even apologize or acknowledge this at all. I also thought I was going in for a teeth cleaning, but all they did was poke at my gums and tell me I need to come back for a cleaning at a later date. It was so strange. Ive never experienced a dentist appointment like that. After my appointment, I found out that the x-ray they had done was not covered by my insurance. They waived the cost (probably because they were worried that they had exposed a pregnant woman to radiation). I just cant believe I would have had to pay hundreds of dollars for an x-ray I didnt need. They had my insurance information way before my appointment, so I dont know why they would do anything that my insurance doesnt cover without asking me. Overall, Im very disappointed and angry.
I went there because I got an infection cuz of a broken tooth. The staff was very helpful they explained everything clearly. They also refereed me to a specialist to get a root canal. They were very helpful. Would definitely go back
The staff at this location was friendly and helpful. They were able to make my insurance work with no hassles. The Hygienist, Katherine, went out of her was to treat an abscess tooth she discovered by working through her lunch hour. Much appreciated!
I am still in the process of having work done, but what I have experienced so far has been great! The staff was friendly, their offices are following stringent guidelines regarding Co-Vid19, so I never felt I was putting myself at any kind of risk. The prices are affordable, I have paid (so far) a lot less than what I expected to. Ill review again when the work is completed, but so far, so good! Easy to get an appointment, easy to get a human on the phone, and they are very good at explaining procedures, prices, and quotes! No complaints thus far!
Everyone was pleasant and very diligent to prevent the spread of virus. I also had the easiest time with xrays than I had ever had. That being said I wish I had known that this first appointment was for a consultation and set up only. Previously when starting at a new dentist this first appointment time included cleaning/scaling, I now have an appointment for that in a month, along with 3 separate appointments for dental work. So my expectations were not accurate. This is most likely due to unclear communication on both parts- I said one thing and they said another and we didn’t understand what each meant. I should have asked for clarification up front.
My dental hygienist did a very good job and answered all my questions.
Dentist appointments make me pretty nervous but Katie made me feel better. The doctor was also quick and thorough and cool. Thanks guys. See you for the extraction!
My experience with aspen dental has been wonderful! They are the nicest people they make you feel comfortable. I had to have impression done and it literally took 15 minutes and most of that 15 minutes was just waiting for them to mix the stuff lol. The procedure Im having done is something that nobody wants to go thru but they have treated me so great I cant wait to see the finish!!
I have had issues with this location every time I went. First visit was a scheduled cleaning that they canceled 12 hours before the appointment and couldn’t offer a different time for 3 months. Next time I went for the first appointment of the day and somehow they were 15 min late to start. Worst of all was when they did a filling for me, I went for a 7 am appointment they said would be an hour long and again they left me to sit for 30 min before doing anything. When I asked if the appointment would really be over by 8 they started rushing things. They numbed me and left me again for 10 min then the dentist obviously hurried through the filling leaving uneven spots and completing the entire thing in 8 min! Although it did get me out by the time they said it feels like a bad job and I will never go back to them again. Stay away!
With everything thats going on, to be out in public can be a little daunting. I want to thank everyone I encountered yesterday for being kind and courteous, for making the space comfortable, and for remembering to smile even though we were all wearing masks. The x-ray technician I worked with was professional and personable, I felt like I was chatting with a friend. The hygienist was gentle and when I saw the doc he was efficient without making me feel rushed. 5 stars all around
The dentist that worked on my crown was excellent. He asked about past anesthesia and how it affected me and actually listened! l never felt a thing the crown temporary looks wonderful I cant wait for the final finished product.
Excellent place. Staff was exceptional and the Dentist was no BS. Knew his stuff and was direct about what needed to be done. Looking forward to having my teeth pulled out here!
I was very satisfied with my visit! I will go back again
Great patient care and excellent service. Got me in quick and affordable!
Im just starting the process, but its been great so far. I feel like they really wanted to help me
I walked in as an emergency visit. They put me in a room right away. I didn’t have to wait too long before a dentist saw me. Right from the start, everyone was so friendly, masks, sanitizer and all. I was only there for 2.5 hours. It could’ve been a lot longer, being that I was a “walk in”.
The Aspen dental office on Brighton Avenue in Portland Maine was able to get me in to have a crown recemented, very professional and my dentist Dr. Uviasi did a great job taking care of the crown that came out! The young lady at the customer service desk was very pleasant to work with very good experience especially under the circumstances with Covid 19 and also taking the time to get me in as soon as possible to recement my crown!!👍👍
I just cant say enough how wonderful they all are at the Brighton Ave facility. So patient, understanding and without judgment. I highly recommend them.
My husband had a tooth extraction this morning. 😫Dr. Lorenzo and his assistant Kaytlin were professional yet very friendly and personable. It was done painlessly and he is recovering nicely. Everyone was very welcoming. Thank you!
Great professionals and staff. they really try and make it a great experience and work to help get you financing or working with insurances so you dont have to pay more. Want to give a shout out to Kathi for helping me navigate multiple insurances and helping me save money. Thank you.
They were very nice and made us feel super comfortable. They definitely know how to treat patients and I recommend everyone to come to Aspen. Very understanding and great mannerism.
I was seen on Friday at the Portland, Maine location. The friendly staff got me in and out quickly after an emergency tooth extraction.
First visit. I was pleased with people and that it seemed as safe as possible.
I have been a client at Aspen Dental for nearly fifteen years. I have always been treated courteously and made to feel important. The dental assistants are impressively knowledgeable about their job and are quick to do whatever it tak3s to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I have always been impressed by the dentists who put the clients needs before the bottom line. They are eager to please the clients wishes, but they are honest and upfront about what is feasible and possible. I definitely would recommend Aspen Dental to family and friends.
I had a wonderful experience at Aspen Dental...They were excellent!!!!!
Worst place ever! Doctor unfriendly. Referred me to a surgeon affiliated with Aspen Dental for 3 extractions. Then that doctor was also unfriendly and forgot to call in my pain medication. Now its the weekend, and Im terrified of the pain when the numbing wears off.So UNPROFFESSIONAL!Dr. PANKAJ THAKKER!
Made an appointment to have the sharp edge from a chipped tooth ground smooth not only was I conned into a SUPER CLEANING I was also scammed I to buying an electric tooth brush I told the C*** office manager no less than 8 times I didnt want guess what I still wound up walking out of the office with yup an over priced tooth brush AND a 600 dollar bill on a 25.99% intrest rate credit line thanks a lot for completely running the credit score it took me 5 YEARS TO GET BACK TO WHERE I COULD RENT MY OWN APARTMENT
My Visit at Aspen in Portland was smooth, easy & enjoyable, the appointment started out with the Red Headed Katie who eased and calmed me with her wonderful personality and took her time explaining everything that she was doing. Ive been putting off going to the Dentist now for several years and i was very Nervous going in. Its experiences like this that will have me coming back for regular visits.
I think this is the greatest dental place. The staff is the greatest team of people you could ever imagine! All of them are so helpful!Dr Solomon is the greatest dentist I’ve ever had. Not only did he make sure I was comfortable but of all his patients he has, he remembered my name. You aren’t just a face here.Crystal the financial woman was so helpful. I probably shouldn’t name people because every one of them was great! I was so nervous and scared but each of them went the extra mile to help me. Thank you to each and every one of you. You truly are a great team and I’d send anyone I knew directly to you.
Everyone was great and professional. I was treated with great care.
Wow! Despite my error in online scheduling they were able to fit me in as a new patient. Every person there was nice, respectful, and supportive. Costing a considerable amount less than previous dentists I will continue working with them to maintain my oral health. Treatment choices were clear and realistic. Will definitely be setting up appointments for the entire family.
I paid almost $5000.00 for my dentures. I have had nothing but problems! I made the assumption that I would have life time care....NOT! I have had 3 teeth fall out, and now I have a hair line fracture in my upper plate. Beware when you buy the alleged life time denture that you will have to pay for any repairs. I am going elsewhere for denture repair
The free exam was nice as a new patient. That was followed with trying to sell me stuff with out having time to think about it. The coast of dentures was kinda high. They had many options to choose from but they gave me know time to think about before asking witch ones I want felt more like a paycheck not a patient.
Several months ago I had to make an unscheduled visit to the Portland office for an infection that was quite painful. I was not a patient at their office and had no appointment. The entire staff was very understanding and made room in the schedule for me. Dr. DeLorenzo and Dr. Uviasah were fantastic and understanding and took care of my infected/cracked tooth. They explained everything including a treatment and care plan at my follow up consultation today. The staff at the front desk worked with my scheduling and insurance explaining what should be done first, what can wait and what everything would cost.I highly recommend the Aspen Dental Portland office and its entire staff.
They were so amazing to me and my husband! I truly want to thank Lindsey for explaining everything so unbelievably well! I left that place feeling welcomed, happy and excited to be getting dentures soo! Thanks girl! I truly appreciate everything you did for me!
Went to the dentist to get work done on cavities and an extraction. They examined me thoroughly and efficiently and very friendly. Explained what was going on and went over payment options.I would recommend my family and friends to come to Aspen.
This is a mixed review. I have been going to this Brighton Ave Aspen Dental for years and finally motivated myself to write something about it. I have really liked the DENTAL specialists here. Even thought as a rule I think the actual dentists turned over a bit or a while (wonder if Aspen is not a good company to work for??) every new Dentist was very good and nice to work with .I have TEN starts to the hygienists here. They have taken such good care of me and my family. We love them.As far as the administrative staff, they are confrontational and seem to have NO CLUE what is going on from an insurance standpoint. On one visit, I even called my insurance provider to confirm my understanding of my coverage was correct (funny thing is that I was paying cash for this particular visit but Aspen still wanted to charge me a co-pay in addition) and they still argued with me and ultimately charged me more. The office manager here was rude to me and I constantly have to fix Aspens (mother company) billing errors. The PEOPLE here are great... the company needs an overhaul!
First time patient after having same dental office for over 30 years and I was quite impressed. Very professional and courteous staff with all the latest and modern dentistry tools. I would recommend!
Excellent all around. Little bit of a wait when you are a new patient but in general I’m extremely happy.
The Dentist I had was not personable at all (I dont even know his name... He didnt introduce himself). He quickly mumbled out a few words I didnt catch. Luckily the hygienist reiterated what he said. The hygienists are the exact opposite. They are great. Otherwise Id probably find a different location.EDIT: Company called me to address concerns. On my following visit the Dentist addressed it with me directly. I dont think a generic complaint should be tied to an individual person. Should have been left anonymous. Nonetheless, I appreciate the effort Aspen went through to correct the issue so I upgraded rating from 2 to 3.
Everyone was friendly and welcoming! The doctor explained things so I could understand what to expect!I will be a happy Woman once my new teeth are done, Aspen makes it possible for anyone to be able to afford new dentures! Thanks Aspen Dental
They are negligent and predatory. Both my friend and I have had terrible experiences. I had a crown done and I developed an infection immediately and the fit was bad. I went back to have the fit adjusted and eventually went back to have him take a look at the problem. He told me he could schedule a “deep clean” to clean out the area where he put the crown for over $500 to fix the dirty work he’d done. My friend experienced something very similar. They want to prey upon the poor, and create more work for themselves by seriously screwing up the initial work. They are DANGEROUS AND CARELESS. STAY AWAY!
Made an appointment first time a patient, needed a filling and dreaded this visit! Well my new filling is in and this was my very first appointment to the dentist that went so well. My dentist was great they will be my new dentists, my visit was pain free and relaxing they are very informative and take time to answer all your questions!!! I am so very happy I am a new patient here..... Wonderful cant believe my procedure was so relaxing they are Amazing!!!!
After suffering from dentist anxiety for years, I made the decision to go have a painful tooth looked at. Katie at Aspens Portland Maine office put me right at ease and made the appointment better than I could have dreamed! The staff work very cohesively together and were a true pleasure.
I presented as a walk-in with tooth pain. The staff was attentive and very helpful. I was able to get an evaluation and extraction within 1 hour and they were superb at ironing out the insurance details.
Generally pleased with dental service at this location, but Aspen Dental in general makes it damn near impossible to obtain dental records. You have to physically go to the location to sign a release form, which is not always feasible due to work schedules. I can easily access all of my primary care medical records and submit requests for medical records from Maine Health through my online account. Aspen Dental is apparently not that advanced.
I was changing jobs and needed to get a cleaning and two cavities fixed within a week before my insurance lapsed. Aspen Dental was able to get it all done and they were all so pleasant. thank you! i highly recommend!
I just went in for a new patient exam. It was completely free, including a temp filling in the tooth I wanted to have looked at. Everyone was very nice, and professional. The Doctor was very good, and gentle, and put me at ease right away. I am a blubbering baby when it comes to having my teeth worked on, but he had me feeling confident right away.
My name is Audai Naser and I did my teeth with Aspen Dental, they took off 17 teeth and they put new one. I am very happy for what they did for their work and I recommend anyone go there, because they have the best service. I thank a lot to Dr. Delorenzo, and R.D.A: Jamie :) AAA+++
WONDERFUL DENTAL OFFICE!!!The Brighton Avenue office of Aspen Dental is simply outstanding! The staff is friendly, professional and most of all, they are KIND. This is a busy little office; however, that patient traffic yields an experienced and highly skilled professional staff. You will not be disappointed!
Great facility, staff were kind and very knowledgeable. For someone like myself whos always had a fear of going to the dentist it was wonderful. Im definitely going back for any dental service me or my family may need.
The hygienist I was scheduled with was very well informed, she and the doctor were also very gentle. As always I look forward to going back because the staff are pleasant and they do a great job! I love the Portland office.
I am so thankful for Heidi ( a dental Hygienist) at Aspen Dental on Brighton Avenue in Portland, Maine. Who did a great job (cleaned my teeth) and whitened them more then expected. She made my day yesterday. Be blessed Heidi and may the Almighty God bless you in Jesuss name in your job and always!!
My family has been going here for years. The front desk and check out are always kind and positive. The dental hygienists help explain everything they are doing and deal with my occasional freak outs.
I had a fantastic experience here. From the receptionist on up to the dentist, everyone was extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I dont have dental insurance and found the fees to be very reasonable. Clearly this is an organization made up of people who like their jobs and care about their patients. Cant recommend them highly enough.
I had a very good first time appointment. Everyone was professional, courteous and helpful and details were explained very carefully - I am especially thankful for the wonderful accounts person (forgot her name, sorry) - She was so helpful and pleasant - and super efficient too!
Thanks Dr. D and Katie for the fun we had during my fillings this morning!
Aspens people were wonderful . Unfortunately ; I need much more work done than I can afford at this time. Also, I have to return to pick up my copy of the x-rays for future work. They forgot to give me them.
I recently visited and had Kate. She went above and beyond. I am grateful.
This is kind of the used car dealer of dental care, if you will. In some ways great, but many ways not so great. Be prepared to be lied to, upsold, and treated poorly if you do not agree with what they are pitching.
The dentist is not always a pleasant place to go. It was my first visit there and I feel that all the staff were great. Definitely did their best to try to ease my nervousness and make me a little more comfortable.
Encourage services that are extra without stating the fee. I was asked if I was ok with the flavour of something, turns out this was a sales question. Questioned this, accepted the misunderstanding and asked for this not to be done again and the receptionist agreed to add a note to my account. Returned and same thing happened again, never returned my phone call after promising a call back. Won’t be returning.
Helpful and courteous. Made me feel very comfortable with upcoming procedures.Thank you
I visited Aspen Dental Portland office today...first time using Aspen. I have a primary dentist at Falmouth Dental Arts, but I needed a tooth extraction, which they dont do. From arrival to departure at Aspen, I was treated with kindness, helpfulness, and respect by reception staff, the x ray tech, dental assistant Kaytlin and dentist. Dr Uviasah. Also, the place was sparkly clean and modern. If it were possible to say I looked forward to a dental appointment, it would be due to the amazing folks at my own dental office and my new friends at Aspen Dental Pinetree Shopping Center! Thank you, team!
Some of the worst customer service i have ever had! The standard cleaning i went in for ended up being a little more work needed, so i was given a price after what MY DENTAL INSURANCE covered. After i went in for the cleaning I was told a price 3 TIMES higher than that on which I owed! They added stuff to the bill I did not receive and I kept getting bills in the mail for services! I Will never go back to aspen dental country wide ever again. I never do reviews but the front office service and the bills that never seemed to stop coming has made me never want to return to this company ever again!!!
Pleasant experience. Dentist and Dental Assistant were wonderful!Great bedside manner!... gentle and did a nice job on my teeth.Thank you so much!!
I went there knowing I do not have the best dental health. I went into the appt expecting a treatment plan for fillings and 1 or 2 teeth to be pulled. Im 34 years old so I was dumbfounded when the Dr said he recommends full dentures. I decided to get a second opionion because I know my dental health is not the best but I didnt think it was anywhere near that bad....so I go for my second opinion they got my x-rays from Aspen and it turns out that Aspen told me I needed full dentures without even giving me a full set of x-rays my second opinion dentist also told me if I had listened to the dentist at Aspen it would have been the biggest mistake of my life ......so here we are 1.5 years and 4 fillings and 2 extractions later able to chew with my own teeth THANKS ASPEN!!!!!
Customer service was not acceptable. They insist their schedule and convenience and push whatever they can sell. Also they pushed orange surgery data and schedule and it should not be their convenience to do orange surgery . It was my first visit and I will never go back again.
Top shelf staff.Class, professional and they couldn’t have done more to put me at ease.
Absolutely the nicest and most helpful dentist office Ive ever visited. I made my appointment online for the wrong day and didnt notice. I show up and instead of being turned away am squeezed in for an appointment (on a Friday no less!). ALL the staff were so kind and courteous. Everything was explained really well and went really smoothly. They are very quick and professional. Though I can not afford the treatment I need, I was shown some really helpful payment options and they were there to help me with every step of the process. This could have shaped up to be a bad day and it really meant a lot to me how helpful this office was. I highly recommend.
Today I finished the denture/implant 6 month process and am now enjoying my first pot roast in 6 months. YEAH! Love the staff....supportive, friendly, and a good sense of humor. I had some problems with the healing process but the staff was very patient with me. The dentist (whose name I still cant pronounce) was always calm even though his patient load seemed high. I really did enjoy you all. Many thanks. I think I will have a steak next! Your friend.....John Webster
Dr. Uriasah, Jamie, Joselyn and both Katies (D.A and Hyg) were awesome. The entire team was professional, clear in what they were going to do, understanding that I hate feeling dental pain, and entirely calm and competent. I have enrolled my entire family in their practice and I feel confident that our smile and tooth care is in good hands.Great job!!!
Please be aware- I went here, was told I had 8 cavities and the bill would be just under a grand. I asked the dentist to show me the cavities, and he said he suspected there were cavities under my current fillings. I got a second opinion at another dentist office, and he reported I had two cavities, and then a third one that Aspen dental had completely missed. All other suspected cavities that Aspen had pointed out, the other dentist was unable to locate, even when I brought in my Xray records from Aspen (to be sure this dentist checked all the same spots). So my bill will now be $300, and I wont pay for or have to endure drilling on suspected cavities.Dont go here!!!
Everyone was super nice and inviting. I didnt have to wait long for my appointment and it all seemed really thorough.
The reason for adding a star to the lowest rating is the hygienist, with whom I have had nothing but pleasant time.On the contrary- my experience with Aspen Dentals Brighton Ave office has always been a difficult one to work with- I kept getting random small $ amount bills in the mail (anywhere from around $3 to around $13) after every visit. I have made numerous calls to resolve these and the answer of where they are coming from was always I am not sure what this charge is for, I am sorry ?!?The worst taste in my mouth this office left at my previous visit, where I rushed to get there after work and was told I have a $3 balance I have to pay first (didnt even get e bill for this). Nevertheless, no one could tell me WHY. Hence, I was late for my appointment by 12 minutes, but I was invited to sit and wait to be called. I did. I was called. I was already heading towards the chair and someone came to tell me: I am sorry, but you were more than 15 min. late for your appointment and the office manager said we will not take you today. THIS AFTER I WAITED, NOT BEFORE, NOT DURING. I rushed after work, drove through traffic to get there, wasted my evening only to be punished by the office manager for asking about my $3 due and mentioning, that this is a constant occurrence on my account to her. Dear Aspen Dental- there are plenty of other dentists around and I am sharing my experience with friends and co-workers. Was it worth it punishing me for asking about my unexplainable $3 due?
Very efficient and thorough, the were concerned for my time which is a rarity at the dentist these days.Update 5/16/18 - it was all a show. I went there today for my first fitting. They plopped me in a chair, slapped a bib on me and left me there without anyone saying a word for thirty minutes. I knew it was too good to be true. I walked out.
So bad! My husband went in for his cleaning. Asked about a tooth he has had trouble with. Told to call when he was in pain. Called today to see someone because he woke up in pain. Was told it will be a week! He has to be in pain for a week! Funny part is their recording says they will do their best to see you if you are having problems. Joke! This place is all about money. Dont do it!
Check Yelp reviews, too! Having recently moved to Maine, my husband and I had our new patient visit with Aspen Dental at Pine Tree (the nearest in-network provider with our insurance). We just needed our regular cleaning and have no issues. Everyone at the office was professional and courteous. My hour long intake visit was disappointing because they diagnosed me with gingivitis and suggested a 3 - 6 month treatment plan with scaling, the works. Im in my early 30s with what I thought was good (not perfect) dental health. Ive never even had a cavity. But I have had some health changes that might have led to gum disease so I accepted this news. A few hours later, my husband, who has even better dental hygiene than me, tells me they also diagnosed him with the same problem, and the same treatment plan. They then went on to say that he would need Invisalign to help prevent any future problems with gum disease. This is when I knew something was wrong. He has perfectly straight teeth. They wanted almost $5K in treatments. I had originally looked at only Google reviews before booking an appointment. Now I looked at Yelp and see other people had received strange up-charges, too. We just had our second opinion from another dentist (2 weeks later). They reported we had great gum and dental health, absolutely no need for scaling or even a mention of expensive Invisalign. My opinion is this office deals with lots of treatments and isnt great for those of us who have good health (I.e. low revenue patients).
Pretty basic clinic, but the staff was kind and helpful. They were very upfront about costs, payments and insurance which i appreciated.
I live in Florida and was in Portland to celebrate our granddaughters 8th birthday. While visiting my front tooth separated from my upper plate. Needless to say that I was embarrassed by the way I looked. I happened to mention that my dentist in Florida was Aspen Dental. Both my daughter and son-in-law said we have an Aspen Dental in town. I called and they immediately made their services available to me. Within an 90 minutes I had my tooth replaced and I was one very happy Aspen Dental patient!!! 😀😀😀
Very nice and easy going people that truly want the best for you and your teeth!
Everyone was very friendly and zero judgement about the shape of my teeth. they made the impressions for my dentures the same day, should take no more than a week for the final product. For only $399.00 I got a full upper denture. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.
Excellent service. People are very friendly and they treat you with respect. I would definitely recommend someone to go there
Was quick. In and out timely fashion. Good job cleaning with very little pain. Pleasant.
I went in for the free consultation. I was told I needed scaling cleaning that would cost $400 even with insurance. Also, my insurance would not cover the cleaning in one visit so I would have to schedule 2 visits to complete the cleaning. The dentist came in, looked at my mouth for approximately 90 seconds and recommended Invisalign. Without insurance, Invisalign would cost $4,000 and it was never brought up in my previous 30 years of dentist visits. I have never had braces. I would second-guess every single assessment they give you. I ended up going to another dentist for a cleaning. Everything was fine, no scaling, no Invisalign, completely covered by insurance.
I recently went into aspen dental for an appointment. I was very pleased with the service I got from all the lovely staff members in the Portland office. Paula did my xrays very quickly and was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I was seen by Dr. Sutera who was very laid back and very helpful with all the questions I had. The office manager Christina, and Leslie were very nice and did I great job explaining my treatment plan and all the finance options. I am looking forward to going back and following through with the treatment that was recommended for me.
Friendly staff, professional, and super helpful!
Kate is wonderful. She is always friendly, very professional and does a great job examining and cleaning your teeth.
Easy, quick, comfortable, affordable. Amazing staff. Definitely worth a visit.
Well dont believe their ads about giving you discounted or free dental care if your on disability thats just a lie! If you dont have any medical or dental insurance dont even waste your time and go there its a joke!!
