At the vehicle’s dealer I was given a list of recommended services totaling almost $2000, after paying almost $700 for plugs and valve timing at 100,000 mile service.The recommended seemed like too much, even for a 100,000 mile car so I found Broadway Import Auto on Google and took the car in to be inspected. For a $65 inspection fee I was told that none of the recommendations needed to be done, and he could not find any evidence of two of the problems cited. Best $65 ever!

Theyve always been straightforward about what my vehicles need and havent tried to oversell me on strange, unnecessary services. I took a car that I bought used in for a once over since I had vague maintenance records. I felt like they told me exactly what I needed. I dropped it off in the morning and received a call within 90 minutes outlining the work they proposed. I okayed the plan and my car was ready to pick up that afternoon. I cant attest to value because I didnt check around but the service was excellent, prompt and professional. I have several friends who have used them for years so that gives me confidence related to value. I will use them again.

This was my first time contacting Broadway Imports for Car Service. I have a sienna minivan with 198,000 miles on it. Four different dash lights were on. Including check engine light and VSC. They diagnosed 2 specific problems immediately, and got the parts needed to fix the car the same day. We were able to pick it back up the next morning, with problems resolved. Very prompt and followed through wonderfully.I will definitely return for any future mechanical needs. And regular servicing.

AC stopped working. They found the issue and it was an inexpensive repair. They checked other systems and found the air filter was in need of replacement as well as transmission fluid flush and refill. Needed a rear light replaced on my Volvo. Had gone to another repair place and they said I would have to go in to the dealer because the light was an LCD and I may have to replace the whole thing. Called Broadway near closing and asked about it, and they said come in tomorrow morning. They fixed it for a reasonable price that day. It was a bulb. I appreciated their communication throughout.

Did exactly what I asked of them at a fair price. First gentleman when I dropped the car off was amiable and informative. When I went to pick up my car a different gentleman was kind of sullen and smart alecky.

I was very pleased with Broadway import auto service. I managed to drive my 2004 civic 10 blocks to the shop without a clutch. Derek then talked with me and looked under the hood, asked some questions about my newly replaced clutch slave cylinder. He explained to me how the slave cylinder was improperly installed - by another shop a few weeks prior. The slave and master cylinder should have been replaced at the same time (didn’t happen) but also, the slave cylinder was just installed incorrectly. He told me I should be able to get my money back from the other shop, and he was right. I did get my money back thanks to using Derek at Broadway Import’s correct diagnosis as a reference. Derek offered to have the other shop call him -which they must have.BIAS replaced my master cylinder the day after I dropped it off. AND replaced the bad slave cylinder for FREE. To be nice? Because it was easy? Because they happened to have the time? Because he could tell I’d been having a lot of trouble in a short amount of time with a car I had bought very recently? I don’t know why - and I’m not saying they’ll do a lot of free service for people regularly - but it was really awesome. It’s been driving well ever since. I’ll remember Broadway import auto service next time I need a repair. Highly recommended. Honest, knowledgeable, professional, friendly. Thanks guys!

I moved to SE and was looking to find a new auto shop. Based on reviews I gave broadway auto a try. They were able to fit me in for an oil change and also changed the transmission fluid and did a great job! I’ll be looking at using them again in the future. Their customer service was also top notch! I definitely got a vibe that they cared about their clients. My only criticism is that their prices were a little higher than I was used to. For example my last mechanic charged about $10 less for an oil change but when it comes to my car I’m willing to pay a little more if I know the quality is there.

The guy at the front desk was a little surly but I’m nitpicking. I was very pleased overall. I’ll be back and I would recommend them to friends.

I initially went to the VW dealerships for a routine oil change and maintenance inspection. They had told me I needed over 1700$ of maintenance. When I asked follow up questions, something didn’t seem right. I decided to get a second opinion from Broadway Imports and Derek was great! While my car will need some of this work in the future there is zero reason to do it now. My car is completely fine to drive. In fact waiting for some of the upcoming routine maintenance, which is based on the mileage of the car, will include some of this “must do” extra maintenance the dealer was trying to tell me I needed.I highly recommend Broadway Imports!

The good: Scheduling was easy. They were able to get me in next day. Pricing for my labor was considerably cheaper than what I was quoted at the dealership. Excellent communication when they found an additional issue that needed to be repaired.The bad: one of the fixes did not work - air bag connection under the passenger seat. Codes were reset and the warning light removed. But, the next day when I started the car the warning light was back. I phoned Broadway to let them know and they asked me to bring the car back in to make it right. Nice to have them stand behind their work.All in all, a very good experience.

Quick and good service

Broadway Import Auto was a very good experience. We are new to the area and asked around a bit. Based of recommendations from our friends we called to see if they could get our Subaru in...that day. Derek made space for us in the early afternoon and was completed in the estimated time they gave us. My daughter and I received a thorough and understandable assessment of the issue as well as notations of future work to consider with estimates of time and cost. This is somewhat common but rather than calling and attempting to “add on” a service or two, they stuck to the job and merely listed the observations and severity to give us the awareness. Derek turned out to be the owner, something I did not realize at the time. No sales push but also indicated what to watch for and when to revisit. It was a VERY good experience that would bring us back easily in the future.
