I have been with this Allstate office for 30 years. What I have appreciated is their committment to serving me and my family. All of their staff is very helpful and personable. I always knew I could call, asking any question and they would be able to answer it for me. No question was a dumb question. I would highly recommend this office and agent!

I have been with the Schmidtke Allstate branch for nearly two decades, covering cars and home, and rental investments. Knock wood, I have never had to make a claim in all of that time, but my family has gone through significant life changes that have required timely and responsive changes to our coverage. The women who run the office have never let me down, and the personal kindness and exemplary professionalism of agents like Shaundie (who has been there as long as I have) make all of the difference in the world. It is the people who make the difference. Every time.

Ive been a customer of Shawns for...7 years now. Auto, renters, RV...Ive moved 3 times! Shondie & Lori are great gals who really listen to your needs. When in doubt, they double check begore giving a quote. They have always been courteous and have a friendly manner while conducting business. When unable to provide a specific type of insurance, they gave me the name & number of a company who can. These folks are great!

I used to talk directly to the agent, I haven’t talked to the agent in 15 years now. In order to save money on insurance, they make you go paperless and automatic payment withdrawals. Removing all control on bill payment from you. If you want to possess insurance cards you have to download their app. They never send them to you, not even in an email, you have to contact them about it. The bill slowly creeps up. Then you call them about it, you get mad, then they say, this is what it is, doesn’t matter if you have been their customer for many years. They are sweet over the phone. My last claim was over 20 years ago, why are rates going up?

Ive recently had to move away from this company due to their lack of competitive rates. One would think over the years they would be privy to this and honor long-term customers with notifications and reviews. Sadly this did not happen, and I am now saving significantly with a company with comparable coverage. Their customer service is stellar, but it is overshadowed by the original intent to stay with them.

I have had my policies with Shawn for at least the past fifteen years. Great customer service from him and his staff. They are pleasant, timely and appear to actually care about the needs of myself and my family. I also know of him to be an all around good person who gives back to the community in which he and his clients live and work. Do yourself a favor and do not hesitate to use him!

After my car was broken into and all things stolen, Allstate helped immediately. Everything was almost unbelievably smooth from start to finish. I was so impressed with the attention to detail and personal touches. It felt like a friend coming to help you out, not an insurance company.

Im EXTREMELY disappointed with this agency. Schmidke has not only not had the time to engage with clients directly, but cant see obvious details of policies that I would expect him to understand. My mother passed away six weeks ago, and I asked him to forward me her insurance bill so there would be no lapse. He said it was being printed that day. Several weeks later, he admitted that he didnt realize the account was on e-bill (wouldnt that be a no-brainer?) when I called him to inquire - I hadnt received anything. I paid the now-late bill the next day over the phone with his secretary. Perhaps one week after that, I received a notice in the mail that my mothers home was being RETROACTIVELY UNinsured one month. Anyone with a shred of common decency would have called me to let me know this and offered some kind of support. In the meantime, Im losing sleep worrying that something will happen to the house before I can get it re-insured.This guy does not deserve your business.
