Really really really cool place here locally!!! We live so close and never go here. Sad! The go-karts are so much fun for adults as it is for kids! Perfect for a date or a family! Cant wait to explore all the other stuff it has to offer!!! Definitely gets the adrenaline pumping through those veins!

This place was great once we figured out how to buy tics and find all that it offers. The go kart times were very generous, not just a couple spins then you are done. The arcade was awesome. All of the 80s games for those of us in our 40s. Very cool. And the jungle gym kept my both of my kids entertained and got their energy out. Great place to spend a few hours. I would definitely recommend!

This place is kind of hidden away, hard to know its there unless you are looking for it or randomly drive by when the go carts are zooming around. I took my 3 year old on the go carts for a ride along, for one adult and one child it was only $8, very reasonable prices. The staff was attentive and friendly and they let you go around in the carts for a solid amount of time/laps. Was well worth it, will take the kids again and look forward to exploring other parts of the park. Check em out if you have not already!

This is a great place to go with your family or to go to solo. Nice arcade with lots of 80s games. Friendly staff and good prices. I highly recommend Kidstar Park.

Nice and fun go carts. Especially for us taller (64) guys and even the shorties of this world. The carts are open top so that our legs are exposed rather than crammed under a body panel. For the shorter people, they have seat spacers to effectively push the seat backs forward so that they can reach the foot pedals. The carts are a little quicker than those we have up north in Illinois and Wisconsin. To keep you safe, you do wear a seat belt/ harness. The track here isnt too long, but long enough to be fun. Overall, they run a safe track. They make sure the rules are clear and enforce them I believe. Helmets and glasses are offered. Due to track dust, Ill be wearing the clear safety glasses next time. I did get some dirt/ dust in my eyes. Thats normal for a quicker track.The only thing I didnt like (Hence 4/5 stars) was the hot line. Its Florida... so its hot most of the time in the summer. But the waiting area has no breeze and feels pretty darn hot.. even at night when we went. Maybe buy a couple barn fans to help move air through the waiting area.Otherwise, we had Fun on their go carts. Thanks!

The mini golf was a lot of fun. The kids love the glow in the dark factor. I feel like they need to rip up the carpet the arcade area. Kind of stinky. The staff is very nice. They really need to update their sign we literally passed by it because you cannot read kids star you only see the flea market sign but that is where its located. Just an FYI we were there July 9th 2021 they said that the ballpark area for little kids with the cage they climb up in whatever you call it will be closed for the next 3 months for a renovation so dont go if thats what youre looking for. Mini golf is great though.

The Staff were excellent. They have a high level of professionalism. The only problem that unsettled me was the space capacity. Kidstar needs a bigger facility to accommodate the influx of familys coming out to have fun. Pricing was okay do understand they must pay their employees. Although this place is small I do recommend this place.

The Staff was very friendly, helpful and patient, even with 20+ kids running around! I personally experienced the Go-Karts and it was a ton of fun (for adults & kids). The arcade has a wide range of games and the pizza was great!

Fun site for kids of all ages.

Kids had fun on the go-karts! It is very noisy and they need a bullhorn to announce the final lap. Inevitably, some poor kid doesnt catch on and slams into a fence or nearly runs over one of the employees. Take care and have Fun!

My family really likes the Go-Karts. Beware that they close before 7pm, my family went at 6:30pm (Sunday) and were told they were closed for the night. The ride appeared to be fully staffed and a family of two were getting on the ride as we walked back to the car.

I love this place but the hours should be updated because every-time I’m here they close down at 10:30pm instead of 11pm

Fun little place for the family to go to. Great little arcade area. They have Mini Golf as well as other great things to do. They also have Kids Go Karts which is on a smaller track they do go slower than the other ones. My family had a blast. The prices for the activities range in prices yet affordable. They also got food there and its not expensive.

For a place called kidstar, it wasnt geared to kids as much as I wouldve liked. I think this is better suited for young teens to adults. That being said we still had a good time. It was a little old, meaning the signage was faded and putt putt was a like tired, things like that, but it was still ok. Staff was friendly. Prices are good.

It was ok. The indoor play place was not available yet and the website said it was. Nice vintage selection of video games. However the games steal tokens and tickets also the ticket counter does not count properly. I find this to be a common issue all over the US regardless of location. Which is such a shame because these places cater to children and most children are oblivious. Sad. Please dont be like the rest of these companies and keep your machines fair.

Park it great, only thing I wish they would enforce their own rules on the go cart track. They tell you what they are but stuff doesnt pull drivers out of the track for violating them, one thing is if only adults where there, but there are kids as well and for some reason, some adults feel that they need to show of in front of the kids how better they are by bumping into their cars and cutting them off.

Go Karts we’re great. Mini golf is in need of repair. I bet it was amazing when it was new but most of the sights and sounds are not functioning anymore. The dragon ate two of our balls instead of taking them up the lift to the top. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

ICombat laser tag is the absolute best! Need to upgrade the video games. Go kart was okay.

We had my daughters birthday here. It was a nice experience and they took a lot of the extra work out for me and my husband. All the kids had a great time. My daughter LOVED Star Mountain!

Not bad actually had fun with the kids pretty good price only issue was it got a lil warm for us in the arcade section but other then that it was great

We do the mountain for my 5 & 6yr olds and they love it! You cant beat the price either

This is the BEST arcade in FL. Bubble Bobble, Crazy Taxi, Starwars cockpit, F-Zero AX, and all the classics. Also have laser tag and go karts.

Great Family Fun

Really fun place to take the kids to play. They added a bunch of new arcade games that is nice. The go karts are a little risky, the one my daughter had was losing its brakes. But def will be checking out the laser tag and mini golf next time

One of the employees was nice and said we could upgrade our ticket for lazer tag but someone who said they were a manager denied it and we were ready to pay extra for the upgrade and the manager said that it was company policy but I feel like you could just add the hole punches to the ticket its not that hard

It looks a little sketchy from the outside but definitely worth a visit. Awesome collection of vintage games, friendly staff, and the kids had a great time in the go karts.

Fun place for the kids to go and great price! Could be alittle cleaner and fixed up. But for what they have to work with im so glad they are open to public and always a great experience.

Over all I feel as kids are running a building and they need serious help.we have been waiting for laser tag an hour .no one knows whos next.need to be organized.

This place has undergone a complete restoration and revamp of what port charlotte has to offer for family activity that has been focused to make both children and adults enjoy themselves alike. They feature ICombat for their laser tag have black lite mini golf with amazing lifesize creations and go carts in kids and adults sizes. Best place to host a children birthday party and at affordable costs all year long.

We go to Star Mountain more than the outside Park but we love itDisappointed our last visit. First we attempted to go to star mountain but not having a message on their phones Nor website, we had no idea they were closed permanently. There was a note advising to go to the other building (kid star). Went in and they said 2 months it will be closed, they are moving and rehabbing, AWESOME RIGHT!!! this was the only exciting part of the visit. We decided while there we would do golf and an ice cream cone (which they have advertised on every single table)... Golf was meh... Old, no music or sounds period other than a few holes, everything needs a rehab in there!!. Then we went to get the ice cream cone.. Which thats the only part one of my kids was excited for... Nope they dont do cones. Ok thats fine but dont put a PICTURE on every table the KIDS sit it, insinuating that you do. So we ordered three soft serves... Vanilla came asap, 5 min later mint (which tasted like STRAIGHT TOOTH PASTE), then 5 min later cheesecake. Not sure with this experience well be back other than when star mountain opens!!

I WENT THERE YESTERDAY WITH MY 6 YEAR OLD SON FOR THE FIRST TIME. IT WAS GREAT PLACE, FIRST AND FOREMOST THE OWNER GAVE MY SON SO MANY FREE COINS TO PLAY THE INDOOR GAMES. AND THE GO KARTS WERE GREAT FOR HIM. HE ENJOYED HIMSELF SO MUCH, STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY.

Great place for the kids. We also had our daughters birthday party there last year and she had so much fun she wants to have it there again this year. Multiple party packages for different age groups are available. We finished it off with some go kart rides. Kids had a blast.

Exciting and very fun, it is one of the best arcades I’ve ever been too. At first I did not know what to expect because we went late at night and it looked a little sketchy but the inside is amazing, they have retro arcade games and newer ones as well. It was very fun and I’m glad I went. Me and my friends did the icombat, realistic laser tag. It was very exciting. The staff was very nice and consistent with their service. I also went on the go carts which was very fun as well, hopefully you get the chance to attend this retro arcade.

This place was a blast. We rode go carts twice, played blacklight Mini golf(that was cool!) had dinner played laser tag and a bunch of video games. We will be back

This indoor play port climber is so fun and all the kids from age 2 to 10 will have fun for hours upon hours in it. The arcade was updated with newer games. The go karts were the highlight of our time here. The kids thought it was the most amazing thing ever to go fast and try to pass their friends. We didnt try mini golf or Lazer tag but definitely will next time. I found everything very reasonably priced and maintained.

Came here for our kids birthday party. They had a blast and so did we. Youre never too old for laser tag :-) this place is awesome. They are even flexible with tickets when one of the kids had motion sickness they exchanged for tokens instead of go-kart ride. They did a great job with the birthday cake and provided excellent service and decorations. Also, we didnt feel rushed even though it was busy with another birthday party.

It was cold-yes folks, every so often in florida we get cold snaps! But we had alot of fun! From black light mini golf to the go carts! And you dont have to be a child to enjoy it here!

Go karts are fun. Especially having the mini karts for little kids 3-5yos. I-combat was a blast.Arcade games are outdated and a lot of them dont work. Pizza was good.Overall a fun afternoon for kiddos.

We enjoy bringing the kids on the weekend. A lot of people forget this hidden gem is here. The play area is always clean and there is a lot for my little ones to explore. With the heat outside, Kidstar is a nice escape for the kids to have fun that’s also easy on the wallet! Would recommend this place to anyone

Lots of arcade games. Inside flea market has a small arcade area and big play scape. Once the other part opens theres much more arcade games, go-karts, laser tag, mini golf, and other activities to keep all entertained. Would definitely stop by again if in the area. Some machines were out of order and came across a couple that are our tokens and didnt start the game.

I only went in to the arcade area and the mini golf, but it definitely wasnt what I expected. The mini golf entrance is in a really sketchy side door off to the back side by a semi truck or something 😨 mini golf was actually fun but extremely short as well. If you have really young kids theyll love it.

If you like go karts an old arcade machines and tactical laser tag it’s just for you good for all ages.

Almost doubled in price, which stinks, but its still an ok place to hang out with the kids in the air conditioning. Some of the games are broken, but theyre attempting to make it better.

Recently found out they raised their prices like 300 percent since the last time we were here... not at all cool. Very disappointed in the ownership for allowing this to happen. They charge way to much for go cart rides and other stuff. What I used to be able to do with a fixed budget on twenty dollars with my son is now impossible and not so much fun anymore.This place used to be super Excellent for some small town fun at a somewhat affordable rate. the go-carts are a little fast and kinda fun. the arcade is modern and in the now. The laser tag is really cool and is also getting upgraded to a new $70k really awesome system. The mini golf is all glow in the dark black light stuff. The liquid laser light show is very cool and the ice cream is very good. This place is great for a birthday party or even an outing for like a sports team of kids. Everyone has fun we love it!

Good way to burn off the energy of my 4 kids! There is very little for kids to do in this town so thank goodness for this place! Please dont shut down like all the other great kid places have done in the past.

I had a guy come up to me and threatened to ring my neck because I was watching an arcade game with his daughter playing. The only thing the security guard did was give him a warning. I would not recommended bringing my nephews their again.

Had a fun time playing blacklight mini golf but was SHOCKED that there are NO outside lighting other than main entrance and go carts. Went with a friend and the parking lot was pitch black so we parked as close to the main building as we could. Purchased our mini golf tickets, went out the door and turned right and walked down to where they told us it would be.... no lights...it was like walking down a dark alley. The light for blacklite mini golf was out also. This was at 830-9 pm and there was a small building near it against a black parking lot. Not safe! Can you say Liability!!!!!!!! Trip/fall, robberies, assault.. no lights and going to guess no cameras. I mentioned it to a few employees and they said they are never on. Had fun but DID NOT feel safe

I went to Kidstar park this week with my grandchildren for the first time. I was so shocked how nice the complex is inside!! It is huge. The black light indoor mini put looks awesome and the children loved the go carts. It was definitely a great experience. WE WILL BE BACK!

Staff is very nice. Laser tag is fun and huge two story area for players to run around. Food area and selection is a little mediocre ice cream is not that great taste a little freezer burned. The go-karts are fun and well-kept. The track is a little small compared to many other places I wish they would extend it somehow we went on a Saturday night and it was a ghost town after 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays that have different sales and promotions where you can get some money off packages if you dont use your coupon on something you can always bring it back they dont expire. Will be back soon

Met friends here to play in arcade and glow mini golf. This place is hard to find. Arcade is tiny and super dark/shady. Glow golf is cool, but no staff was present to help us when the last two holes malfunctioned.

We had my sons 10th birthday party here and it was amazing!! The kids did everything from go karts to laser tag to star mountain!! They loved every minute of it and us parents had fun too! As a parent I felt included and really enjoyed being here. The food was great, the cake was delicious and looked great! The glow golf was so unique and special. Thank you to Kidstar for making my sons birthday truly special!! Not to mention a great deal! We did the icombat birthday with the star mountain add on.

Pretty great place for kids parties. Could be better if they would fix some of the video games, and pay a little better attention to maintaining things. All and all though a fun place dor family night. Water show is pretty awesome.

Indoor/Outdoor kid-friendly venue. A little pricey I think for how dated some of their equipment and attractions are, but still probably the best option within a 30 minute radius for kids entertainment.They have laser-tag, go-karts, a climbing/playscape area, two separate arcade games, and mini-golf.You can host Birthday parties and events here, but be sure to call in well in advance. They have limited hours and can get booked up due to being the only place around.All-in-all not a bad experience.

Pretty cool spot especially for a rainy or cold Saturday or Sunday perfect for those days when you want to sit inside and cant go out and play but dont want to sit and be bored all day or have your kids stare at a screen all day. Gets them out of the house interactive gaming along with social graces with other children.

Bought ticket for son to play mini golf went to the building waited 20 minutes for someone to show up to give ball proceeded to plus got to hole where ball goes up dragon which has been broken since I can remember ball falls out never gets to top then go toTell them at stand no one there again go to front they don’t care
