I love that the staff seems glad to see me back. They are super encouraging. They show me how to use any machine Im unfamiliar with. Lots of cardio machines and TV screens. I see them cleaning the equipment. I looove the Crowd Meter; its a factor to help me decide when I go. Being open 24 hours is a bonus too!
The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent variety of equipment. So far my experience has been wonderful. I would recommend this gym without any reservations.
The gym is always cleaned and there is enough equipment to work out while socially distancing. There are a lot of classes to attend for different thing which is great. The massage beds and chairs are amazing. Great team members also.
I just moved from another location my membership is not at this franchise! but I do not ever bring anything to the gym due to because I don’t wanna Put my stuff in a locker or carry a bunch of things with me on the floorh. they do not except cash and if you are not a member at the franchise they will not look your card on file and I do not bring cash or Credit card to the gym. so always bring water and whatever you want because they are not accommodating if you were not part of their franchise. I feel like this should be fixed .
Good location for me. Gym is kept up well. Always clean and equipment well maintained.
Clean, good social distancing, temperature checks when entering and masks required when moving between workout stations. Hand sanitizer and equipment disinfectant placed throughout the gym. Most gym goers are respectable of your space and clean the equipment once they are done using it. Not too crowded even during peak times. Honestly couldnt ask for more from a gym during the pandemic.

Tried signing up today (2/12/21) because I kept hearing $0 down. I went on their website and I decided on the classic membership, and I did see that the $0 down offer ends on February 28th! Great. When I tried signing up, it tried charging me the $49 set up fee. I called and spoke to Sabrina, I believe. She told me that the deal happen to end yesterday (2/11/21) and she apologized because the website had not been “updated”, and will inform their manager.You know, this is a pretty bad first impression. Instead of honoring what’s on the website and working with me to rectify their mistake, all this lack of integrity is a reflection of what’s to come.

I travel for a living, so I work out at planet fitness’s across the country; this seems to be the only one with a combination system in the locker, rather than a padlock system; and every time I go here I have to get help opening my locker when I’m done, that’s it, besides at the gym was 😎 awesome
Planet fitness is a great place to work out. It has everything needed for everyone. The only problem I have is that at this location is people like to sit on their phones texting at the machines or do 3 sets at one machine while in the circuit training area making hard for anyone wanting to use the circuit training area for - circuit training.
If it wasnt for Planet Fitness I would not be able to stay fit, healthy, and thank God for the Massage Bed and all that is offered. I can do what I need to do and focus on me! Thank you! LILY

I will say they all the Planet Fitness is not the same then one in McNab and Powerline not very friendly I didnt get help they never introduced me to the fitness equipment I went to another one in Broward and they was very very friendly people so not everyone is its the same this facility here in Broward they are very very friendly people they helped me alot so just because Planet doesnt mean everyone is the same as my opinion I was ready to cancel and then I went to this one and I was very happy so I recommend the one in Broward Boulevard and you see how friendly they are
Planet fitness cares about your safety. Areas are always clean and you see the staff cleaning anytime you are working out. I love seeing the crowd meter which determines the better time for me to work out.
Clean facility and friendly staff. We came in for the free day trial bc it was our last night in town before heading home to Chicago.The judgement free zone is a little odd, as the rule itself is a form of judging. If you dont look the norm, others will stare. Which can be awkward.Overall, it was a good experience.

Planet Fitness is the first gym I have ever joined and I am so glad to have found this one. They do temperature checks when you first walk in, there is hand sanitiser throughout the building, and you must clean the machine once you are done using it. It can get a little crowded depending on what time you go but on the app they even have a meter that says what their crowd control level is. All in all, I am pleased.
Its awesome, very clean, staff is friendly, spacious!! Alot of machines, weights, so theres always a way to get to your nx exercise or routine !!
Nice gym lots of equiptment. Its kinda hidden where it is, which makes it feel exclusive. Friendly staff and it wasnt overcrowded although the parking wasnt all that great.

The staff are always very friendly and helpful, but the manager here has no people skills whatsoever. I just ended my workout early because he was so loud arguing with a guy across from me. It was like a screaming match and the gym was packed! He has no tact, he doesnt know how to speak to people and with his behavior and attitude you would think hes a principal at a school or something.
I was a member in the past and have returned after a few weeks at another gym. The vibe is always better at Planet Fitness. The staff is friendlier and the patrons that frequent the location near my house are there to work out. I also love the fact planet fitness is open 24/7.

All Planet Fitness staff are always welcoming & friendly. Lee was definitely one of our favorite staffs that worked at this Planet Fitness location & every time my fiancé & I would do our religious work outs “GAINS”...throughout our workouts, my fiancé & I noticed how he multitasked from the front desk to maintaining other priorities from attending customers by meeting & greeting them in a highly professional way; as well as maintaining cleanliness of all the machinery & making sure all job duties were well kept and accomplished to have customers leaving satisfied due to another day of relaxation (they have water beds 🤤) and having that high positive attitude that my fiancé & I just conquered another day in the books either when it’s National Chest Day, Leg Day, Back Day or even on our off days! They have a selection of ways to relax at Planet Fitness and I assure you, you won’t regret it. FYI beware of the “Lunk Alarm 🚨“ lol though it is hilarious when it goes off, but overall it’s a wonderful environment to make changes and see results! I went on a Sunday and it wasnt too crowded. It was clean and staff friendly. The free weight areas is a little compact so during busier times it may be a wait time. Warning.. this is a smaller location than most planet fitness
Team member Jerry was very rude with horrible interpersonal skills. He was very rude and refused to give me corporates phone number. I will never return to that location nor will I refer anyone there. He should be taught how to communicate professionally. Horrible experience with Jerry.
The experience at this gym was less than desirable. Lex working the front desk is not helpful at all. Lex is rude, unprofessional and completely unable to help anyone!!! You will be told to use your app, call your home gym or whatever else she can come up with. However she is great at asking for tanning eyewear, taking your temp and just being rude. Also Ruth the manager is just as unprofessional as Lex, I assume she must have trained. Ruth is will over talk someone and come up with excuses as well. What is the point of a national gym chain if you cant use it nationally the same way everywhere? Well Ruth will explain our the franchises work and does not come up with any positive solution. There was not a single apology from her regarding the unprofessional attitude of her employee.But I can give props where they are due to Irvin (guy with dreads) he is super nice and helpful both days that I chose to come to this gym. Promotion is recommended for him because at least his customer service skills are there, UNLIKE Ruth and Lex.Maybe Planet Fitness is not the right choice for my Florida Gym,

I work for the Rail Road and this gym has the worst customer service and the are totally unprofessional! I have Ben over 50 planet fitness from New York to Seattle Wa. and never been harassed in my life by any planet fitness associates! They where rude and very unprofessional!!!
I was usually the type that couldn’t stay committed to a gym membership. That all changed once I walked into the place known as Planet Fitness. Sabrina did an amazing job with signing me up. She showed me the benefits in a way that made me understand. I never knew a staff could be so friendly. I feel welcome whenever I come in. Star and Daniel also made the atmosphere feel especially calming. Whoever their manager is needs to give each one of these three team members the recognition they deserve!! :)

On Friday 8 of January at 11:00 I went with a friend to check the gym. One of my friends invite me to check around but the gym, the guy at the front desk was super rude and would not even let me see the relaxation zone. I was thinking of becoming a member but I will reconsider.

I have to give a shout out to Ruth the manager as she is on the ball and employee Starr who is always radiant. Equipment is up-to-date the gym is kept impeccably clean and it is never crowded during my workout times
While Im thankful gyms are open, my preference at Planet Fitness is to do the 30 minute circuit so I can get in and out. Unfortunately every other machine is down because of social distancing, in effect making the circuit training useless. Half the machines in the place you cannot use because of the social distancing, so even if its relatively empty, you still have to wait for machines.....
During my visits the front desk agent is always friendly and helpful the young lady that worked this past sunday afteenoon is always pleasant

I had a terrible experience at Planet Fitness in Pompano Beach, FL. Ive been a member for approx.four years now. I enjoyed working out at this location because of its flexibility of being open 24/7 which is fantastic.I was working out on the stair climber getting my morning cardio in. I was using the only stair climber at the time. Approx 20 minutes into my workout a staff member by the name of Marque started cleaning and dusting the machine right next to mine. I asked Marque if he could stop cleaning so close to me because the dust was bothering me and social distancing. He looked at me with an attitude and started questioning me and asked why I was using the machine? I was in disbelief with his response being that Im a customer who has been a member for several years now. I explained to Marque that I wanted to enjoy my workout and I asked if he could go clean the next machine. He ignored my request and continued going back and forth asking me to switch to a different machine. I eventually asked if his Manager was available. He replied that she was and her name was Ruth. Marque continued being argumentative to the point that I picked up my phone and told him that I would start recording our conversation if he did not leave me alone. He eventually went to the front desk. Approx.fourminutes later, I went to the front desk and asked to speak with the Manager - Ruth. I was met by Sam who was the team lead. She told me that Ruth would not arrive until 9:00 am.. At this point, Im really upsetbecause my workout was interrupted and staff lied to me. I did not want to speak with Sam. I only wanted to address this issue with the Manager. After all, my request was not a difficult one. Im a VIP member and I utilize several Planet Fitness locations. Ive never experienced this kind of low level customer service. I would like to speak with you about this.My concern is that when a member makes a request to an employee regarding their health and safety, it should be taken seriously and not be met with unprofessional behavior. Bad service and my workout was ruined.
Not much to offer, but they have a lot of different equipment and machines to choose from. Love the way how safe and sanitary they are during these covid 19 times. So clean I feel safe going.
Very clean, even have multiple cleaning stations throughout the facility so you could sanitize whatever you want to workout on.
Very clean facility and staff is great. Way more workout stations and treadmills than the west palm location. I’d highly recommend this gym. Especially at the monthly rate and you can always bring a guest with the black card membership!!!!

Front desk advocate by the name of Yasmin was very unpleasant to myself specifically in one of my last few visits. I was told by the young lady she was having a rough day and was the justification for her rude behavior towards myself and my brother. I can not be compassionate in such the capacity that I personally are in the industry of sales and customer service and do not speak to clients in a rude and quick manner despite having a “bad day”. Personal matters should never get in the way of ensuring paying customers that they can rely on staff for a friendly experience. I understand the gym policy of not having bags on the gym floor and every establishment has ruled and standards each individual must adhere to. Although they must be enforced by staff, the manner in which the policy is enforced does not need to be done so rudely and shortcoming. I was explained the policy as she noticed I had my gym bag with me very rudely interpreted to me. I also was wearing jeans in which is also not allowed; completely understandle I immediately purchased planet fitness brand names shorts to follow the rules of proper attire at Planet Fitness. Once again, as I purchased the shorts I complete compliance, Yasmin rudely verbalized the price and didn’t say anything much more. As a customer and responsible/complaint individual, I feel as if due to my diligence in following company policy, I shall not be spoken to in that matter.

Unprofessional. Another member half cleaned machine and then went on to ask me to clean my machine he wanted to use. Ruth the manager took sides without listening to what happened. Apparently she felt it was appropriate for me to not only clean another persons half cleaned machine but also clean the machine he wanted to use. Joke of a manager. So now I get removed from the gym for not only being told II have to clean my machine but also others. This is not a good policy and certainly not a good manager who gets all the facts first.
This branch is smaller and has less number of machines, but is good.
Planet Fitness makes fitness affordable and easy. I was so happy when they opened close to me! They are clean, friendly and have tons of great machines, weights and aerobic machines of every type plus rows and rows of TVs. The staff is super friendly too. Love it there!
TO THE OWNER: I contacted corporate but it seems this PF is privately owned, so theres little to do when they hire unqualified staff and dont provide the proper training in terms of customer service. So the next time you wonder why youre losing clients, why your client retention rates are low or when writing another check towards advertising to attract new clients... remember that your staff is working AGAINST you by telling people to cancel and leave.I wasnt able to talk with the owner, so Im leaving here a review. Im also a business owner and I can see how your business is losing loyal clients due to poor customer service.I joined this gym June 1st when gyms started re-opening during the pandemic. At that time the staff was helpful. Before signing the paperwork I explained that I would need to carry a small medication bag (5 inches by 5 inches) at all times during my workout. They told me that wasnt a problem, but that I had to use the designated lockers for duffels and big bags. That was reasonable, so I accepted as long as I could have the small medication bag with me at all times.On Wednesday 09/30/2020 I came in for my usual workout around 11:30 AM. There was a new man at the front desk. I dont remember his name but hes an african american and he limps when he walks. He demanded for me to leave my small medication bag in the locker. When I declined, he turned disrespectful and treated me in the worse way. He called to speak to the manager. I dont remember the name of the manager but she was a young lady. I explained to her that I needed my medication bag on me at all times during my workout. She said that I had to put it in the locker because the policies had changed. I explained that Ive been to this gym for months and I always carry my medication bag with me. I also workout in South Carolina Planet Fitness gyms and same thing: they allow you to have a small medication bag with you; so it seemed a matter of location- NOT policy. The manager told me that if I wasnt able to put it in the locker, I should cancel the membership and said that the front desk could assist with the cancellation lol.I was shocked by the lack of assertiveness on handling a very irrelevant issue such as a medication pocket bag. That could be expected from a new, untrained front desk. But poor problem-solution skills, poor peoples skills and bad customer service skills exhibited by a manager?!! Unacceptable! Customer service is more important than ever. Actually, it costs 5 times as much to attract a new customer than to keep an existing one. Its surprising the manager at this location doesnt understand this simple principle. More shocking the owner hired the wrong manager for this location. Back at the front desk, the employee tells me that this is at the discretion of the manager, and that he can quickly help canceling the membership. He recommends me to bring a fanny pack to wear around my waist while working out. Clearly he had no idea what was the experience on an elliptical/treadmill. It was difficult to explain to him that that wasnt an option since its extremely uncomfortable to wear a fanny pack banging on your waist while you work out on the elliptical or the treadmill. They seemed clueless. Id wish to remember their names to help you address the issue better, but check Wednesday, September 30 schedule. It was the front desk and the manager on schedule that day. For me its easy to switch to another gym, but I feel for the owner whos the one responsible for all the expenses and liabilities while untrained staff kick clients out of the gym.Fortunately the gym in my condo reopened, so Ive been working out in my private gym and have checked a few memberships in other gyms. I havent canceled the membership at this PF yet, but I might just transfer to another location or cancel altogether. The least thing I want is to workout feeling uncomfortable wearing a fanny pack juts to please unreasonable policies at the discretion of a manager.

I had the pleasure of taking a class last night taught by Luke. From the start, I knew we were in good hands. He was very energetic and knowledgeable. He was also careful to ensure that we worked out safely and efficiently. He provided great motivation and feedback during the session and I look forward to taking more classes with him in the future.
Love the gym. Love the equipment. They could use a stretch bar but it’s all good. The people are helpful and I like the size, not a huge planet fitness.
I’ve been working out at this location for over three years and have been a black card holder since 2013. Because of the way the manager, Ruth, handled an incident I reported in which personal safety was a concern, I will be ending my membership. Personal safety should be a concern for ALL employees and when a claim is made, you need to confront the individual the claim is against rather than telling the person who made it that you don’t believe them.
The cost of membership, size of the Pompano club, the number and variety of equipment and the physical location of the club are its selling points. The increase in sourly behavior from the staff since the pandemic, the lack of showers and the extremely slow start up time of the APP are minor downers.
A dirty Planet Fitness! I travel all over the U.S. and this facility is atypical when it come to cleanliness. Most are cleaned daily and are done so threw out the day. This one is NOT. My home Planet Fitness is cleaned daily with feather dusting and vacuuming. I have never seen the staff ever clean during normal business hours at this PF. It needs to be done! Dust bunnies constantly on the floor at this facility and it feels like a bacterial disease is in order for the future. Pull up assist machine is constantly out of order. The men’s bathroom is not cleaned often enough. Folks that say that this facility is “so clean” need to go to a PF which is maintained well. Don’t fool yourself. I feel gross after visiting this PF. I will have to say that the staff at the front desk is always friendly. One last thing, I am glad that they are going to start enforcing rules protecting the privliges of the holders of a Black Card Membership. 5 stars for the friendliness of the front desk.
Ive been going to this gym for a few months and really enjoy it. Staff is friendly and bathrooms are clean. Theres plenty of machines and free weights to get a good workout. Some of their lockers keep getting stuck and the headphone jacks on some treadmills dont work - other than that, no complaints.
I went with my friend and the old woman in front was very rude and unprofessional, we had a problem with the app and she did not solve our problem the only thing she said was check in the app, but the app was damaged...

Its the cheapest gym membership price wise. Surprisingly the gyms are always very clean with nice staff & always ready for a good work out. If your just trying to get into shape or maintain, its a perfect gym. Also if you travel alot its everywhere & 24 hr.
The staff at front extremely rude and unprofessional.I had the black membership which allows me to go to any location. My home location is not 24 hours so I went to this location at night and the guy at front desk said I don’t have a membership. I didn’t have my membership card but I Give him my drivers license and phone number and he still said I can’t enter the gym. I said yes I can and he said no I can’t and he called the cops on me. The police came and asked me to leave but the cops were very nice because they knew I was right they said. Anyhow I cancelled my membership. I tried to contact head office to tell them but there is no head office. I walked in to cancel and No one even cared to ask me why. I rather pay more but get customer service.
Thieves!! I had a plan that I felt like cancelling a while back... I found a better gym at the time. They told us to come by and sign some paper. We did. And they continued to charge me every month. Different charges at that. Every time I asked for the owner or a higher up they gave me the run around. Said they would have to call his cell phone. They would but conveniently the call would go to the voicemail. Supposedly... I say supposedly because they refused to allow me to listen to the call as it was in progress, I never got a hold of the owner. I had a manager literally arguing with me over the phone after the 3rd or 4th transaction that was processed. Very rude for no reason. The only way I could stop the transactions was by inconveniently cancelling my debit card and waiting for a new one in the mail. These guys are thieves and I’ll never recommend them. They owe me at least $60-80 and play stupid all the time. Again... THIEVES!! If I could give no stars I would. The don’t even deserve the one.

The gym is clean and the trainers are friendly. The workouts are challenging and they vary so you dont get tired of the same thing.
Irvin works at the front desk, the most disappointing greetings I’ve ever had, not very polite at all. Despite that he “asked” me and my guest to measure our temperature on our heads, which I don’t like it as per doctor’s prescribed, I gave him my wrists but he said that would not workout there if I didn’t “provide my head’s temperature”.I don’t pay for my black membership to have this type of treatment.

As far as Planet Fitnesses go, this is the best one Ive gone to. The training area is clean, the cardio equipment is plentiful, and the weights and machines are in good condition. Its usually not too crowded; Ive only had to wait a few times for a Smith machine for heavier lifting. I appreciate that theyve recently added some new dumbbells heavier than 60 lbs. For a secondary gym, this place does the trick.

My wife has been a member for the longest time and I go with her almost 5 times a week. This is a great place to workout on your time, open 24/7 which is incredible. Machines are in good condition and have lots of variety. The staff over here is great, I had family visiting for a week and they offer them free passes to come to the gym with us for that week. Planet fitness is a great brand of gym and is easily the best bang for you buck in all of the US.

I am a business owner that was interested in working out here. My friend work out here. So I asked them to place some of my Busienss cards here to network each other I would display them in my location which has many walk ins. The hound men at the counter were respectful and nice yet when they came back with a NO that I cannot display my Busienss. I still did not have issues with that. It’s how it was handled by the manager. I am a person of the community, a business owner and was a possible client that was willing to spend a lot of money with trainer and use of equipment. Instead of talking to me like a person, I was told by his inexperienced employee that felt bad that he had told me yes. Shame on the manager for being unfair to his employees and for dating no. I will promise a backlash from myself, my social media and my friends will most likely find somewhere else to go.Imagine if they treat me like this how do they treat the poor people that actually uses facility. Are the hypocrites? Treat people like people when they pay you?It’s managements noose, shame on that manager for not facing and talking with me.
