Henry is very thorough and I never have any problems with my cars after hes done working on them.

I have been going there for 30 years!! We still take all our cars to Henrys Auto. We tow them in if we cant drive them to the shop!! Family owned and very honest knowledgeable people.

I went for the first time to get my check engine lights diagnosed and repaired. My main concern was code P0463 which relates to the fuel sensor. They did not fix it and left it as a recommendation. I went a second time to see if they can fix it. They did not fix it. They slapped a band aide on it by cleaning the battery terminals. Apparently the battery was not delivering enough voltage. But my concern of the fuel sensor was still there. They said the car was running great. As I drove off the shop the check engine light came back on again and the fuel light kept flashing although I had a full tank. they said not to worry about it that they cleared all the codes. But the fuel light keeps flashing and the check engine light remains on. I insisted that they fix it. But they did not. At this point they are just scamming me for my money. I do car work myself but I do not have time to fix it. Which is why I took my car there. Customers please question your mechanics. Some are just there to scam you

Good place to fix your car

My family owns a Caravan, the kind that the whole engine has to be removed in order to get fixed. Anyways, Henry has always done a great job of fixing it when something happens. The actual owner, Henry, always gets the job done. His workers are a little lazy and if he knows his workers arent doing the job right or trying to steal money from his customers he does the job himself. Hes done it multiple times for us and gone under the hood when he knew something was wrong. He always sticks to his word on prices and does the work in the time frame we give him. Hes a great guy and mechanic.

My car was towed to Henrys shop after my sons accident. He took the tow truck drivers recommendation for a good local shop. Insurance paid for the repair, but after the repair the car had a vibration when running at freeway speeds. The car was returned to Henrys FOUR times and was still not fixed. Every one there was very nice (as they mis-diagnosed and took even more money). In the end got fed up with the wasted time of the 60 mile round trip and paid for my local shop to do the fix - which they did first time around based on the same information I gave to Henrys.Now chasing the insurance (Liberty Mutual) to pay for the completion of the repair...

Henry always goes the extra mile. My car has over 225000 miles on it and is running fine.

Great honest work.

I dont usually go online and fill these things out but in this case I need to. Took my fiances headache (his car) in to henry for transmission issues and henry fixed it PLUS a lot more and the things he added in were extras either little or no cost. He has been going back to him since last year for oil changes and little here and there fix its. We now take all three cars to henry. He is very fair and not a pushy fix it now kind of person. If you are in need of money and your car has issues he will explain the fix this now and you have a little time on this. Thanks Henry and ladies in the office. Very friendly staff.

Honestly the best place for auto care.

Took my El Camino into Henrys for an emissions repair that I turned down due to an excessive repair estimate. When I went to pick up my car, it was parked facing forward. Since my wife dropped me off then followed me, she called me a minute away from Henrys to say there was a large dent in the tailgate. I immediately returned to Henrys and spoke with Henry. Henry had the nerve to say I caused the dent in the last two minutes since I had left his shop. Then he admitted to causing the dent and said Chaffey Auto Body in Montclair would do the repairs.Chaffey Auto Body did repair in two days that was a disaster with oversize metallic in the paint with many visible runs. I spoke to the shops owner, John Tarrant, and he said the job was fine and walked away with no paperwork issues and therefore no warranty for the poor auto body and paint work.

I just went in today to get my oil changed for $27.76 out the door. I specifically go to places that use valvoline oil because i prefer the quality of valvoline. When the guy changed my oil, he put in some cheap orileys oil that they bought from across the street at kragen. The guy didnt know i was watching, and i asked the owner what kind of oil they used, and he said we use valvoline. I went into the shop and showed him the empty bottle of orileys oil. he then tried to tell me that the orileys oil is more expnesive and better oil. I called kragen and the valvoline oil is 30% more expensive. moreover, why would you advertise for valvoline and then put in a more expensive oil? bottom line, i would be afraid of getting any service done here. if they are dishonest about a simple oil change, i cant imagine what they would do for a more serious repair. I will say, however, that everyone there is really nice, but do NOT let that fool you. I am very disappointed, and i wanted to write this review to prevent anyone else from getting ripped off. I WOULD AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST, BUT IF YOU DO GO THERE, WATCH THEIR EVERY MOVE. By the way, i made them changed the oil to valvoline, and they kept the cheap oil that they took out of my car. beware, that oil may end up in your car.
