The Lindstrom team does great work at a time when there is frustration. All the employees really seem to like working for the company. That tells me something as well.

I can’t say anything negative about Lindstrom. They are experts in their field. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

We had a flooded basement from a leaking pipe. This company came and did the insurance work. The estimator was great, but thats about where the good ended. The foreman was confrontative if questioned, the job took longer than promised, and they took shortcuts. They did the work, but used CHEAP materials. After a few months of using the rooms they worked on, we realize how lousy the workmanship was. Closet doors falling apart, handles pulled through the cheap hollow core doors, cheap carpet, etc. They used the right words, but at the end of the day, these guys should work for Ikea- you know what I mean about looking good, but quality to last only until theyre out the door. I would not recommend them.

The staff took great care with every detail, and the house looks fantastic! My projects point man, Ron Wolf, was always in great communication with me about the details (a huge help, as I was living in a different city while work went on). I discovered hail damage on my roof during a home inspection for selling my house. Due to date / time restrictions, work had to be done in a very timely manner. Todd K worked with me and my insurance carrier, got the field manager, Mike, out to my place and had the work scheduled and done very quickly! Work was very good quality. I called them last night after my well tank failed and flooded my entire basement. they showed up and hour later and had it all cleaned up within 2 hours. The manager, David was likely the most knowledgeable person I have ever encountered when it comes to home repair. His crew was fast and efficient. Great work guys! I had an excellent experience with this company seems they have been in Minnesota for Generations nice people who really helped me out in a difficult situation. I think as a consumer I would choose them because they are the only company that specializes in fire restoration. My experience with them started with them chasing a fire truck and convincing me to sign a contract under duress that I was told was to secure the house. Some of the highlights in the middle were being evicted from my temp housing because the insurance refused to continue to pay for something that should have taken only a few months, personal insults, missing items from my home, attempts to get me to lie to the insurance company and say the work was done when it was not, horrible work done, all requests for work being done met with the answer you need to pay us the remaining balance and garbage left throughout my home. I asked them to simply finish the last items they were charging me for and they hired a lawyer to bully me and set a process server to my home. Run away!!!!!

Lindstrom restoration is the BEST thing that happened to us this fall. We had a water damage situation in our basement in September. Lindstrom came to the rescue. They were on time for every aspect of the repair, and restored our basement better than it was prior to the the water damage. Not only were they on time, but very friendly and easy to work with. They took a very stressful situation and made it easy to the completion of the project. I would highly recommend Lindstrom for your restoration.

Lindstrom was recommended to us by a local plumber after a water leak. They did a good job with the water leak, besides ripping up the wood floor without our consent. When we asked them about this there answer was, well it had to be done. Thats great but a call to confirm with the home owner would be appreciated. The ceiling they fixed also looks great but thats where it stops. We have been waiting for over a month for a tiny bathroom to be tiled and the people they had fix our bedroom carpet did such a bad job its insulting. Like we wouldnt notice how bad it was. Still waiting for them to come back and fix it so we can have our house finally put back together. Our water leak was the beginning of September and here we are the beginning of December still waiting for our project to be completed. Overall very bad communication and I would never use them or recommend them to anyone, unless your looking for a company that doesnt communicate and get jobs done in a timely manor that is.

After a weekend storm my roof was leaking pretty badly. I called and they sent someone out right away. After a very detailed inspection they were able to help and worked with my insurance company. Its like it never happened!

This contractor was referred by my insurance company. They performed an estimate but I was unable to get them to commit to a date to perform the work. I called nearly a dozen times over the course of two months and left numerous voicemails. A couple of times when I was able to reach somebody, they promised I would get a call back. Never happened. Additional damage has happened to my roof during the time I tried to get them to fix it. Im very dissatisfied with the unprofessional experience I had with this company.

AJ came out to do look at the damage and give us an estimate. AJ came and assessed our home and what needed to be done. After a week of not hearing back, I emailed him. He said he’d have my estimate in a few days. Almost 4 weeks after he assessed our home we still have not heard back. I called his office and they said they had no information. After multiple emails and voicemails, we have still not heard back with an estimate. I was very unimpressed with the lack of follow through. I would not recommend this company if you are looking for a restoration contractor.

One of their trucks, a white GMC Acadia rudely wouldnt let me merge into the freeway when coming up an onramp in which the lane was about to run out damn near ran me off the road with my 5 year old child. Very inconsiderate. I wouldnt do business with someone with me courtesy.

Earlier this spring (2015) we had some bad water damage in the finished lower level of our home. The damage occurred as the result of a frozen water pipe leading to an outside water faucet. The damage was sufficient to have soaked all of the sheetrock on our east wall, approx. 8ft wide and 4 to 5 feet up the wall. Same ting where the east wall meets the south wall. This is where Lindstrom entered the picture. They were on the scene promptly to assess the damage cost followed closely with tearing out the sheetrock and installing drying machines. That was followed with installing new sheetrock and painting. The walls look better than before the damage. Besides the excellent work other things that we really appreciated include the workers showing up when they said they would, explaining what they were going to do, and they willingly answered our questions. They also took considerate care in moving equipment in and out of the house and the cost came in exactly as they had estimated. I dont ever want this kind of damage to happen again, but if it does I will insist on having Lindstrom do the work.

We had a very bad experience with a company located in St. Paul and were recommended to Lindstrom Restoration in Plymouth, MN. It was the difference between night and day. Lindstrom had their team of workers all ready to start work even though our project was considered a small project. They stopped the water leak coming in from the roof and continued to make all the necessary repairs. Lindstrom repaired two bathroom ceilings including light fixtures, fans, replacement of sheet rock, mudding, taping, spray texturing with paint added, R&R blown insulation and steam cleaning of the carpeting. Plus after each sub-contractor came and went, cloths or plastic was placed down on the floors and walls to protect the home owners property and the sub-contractor cleaned up after themselves. Lindstroms office staff was very professional in scheduling all the individual appointments plus they followed up with a phone call. I never had a bad experience and cant say enough about this company. Lindstrom came in after I had a very bad experience with a previous company and made the total experience a positive one. I would give Lindstrom an A+ and suggest them for all your restoration needs.

Had them do a fire restore in my mechanical shop. Next time I will hire the preschoolers to do it. So much wrong with this job from heating to plumbing to roof leaks I dont want to write a book. Do your self a favor, dont call them unless you want GREY HAIR. By far the wurst experience I have ever had.
