The service was excellent and right on time, with plenty of notifications of exactly when the tech would arrive. Eric did a great job on the annual service and cleaning on my boiler and made sure that the area was totally clean when he was done. He is also knowledgeable and friendly.

***Updated review*** Initially I had reviewed an unfortunate series of visits. After my post, Beantown immediately reached out. We were able to talk through the experience, how it could have been avoided, and they were able to correct the experience. Considering the numerous great reviews and my conversation with Joe (who was very knowledgable), I have every confidence in using Beantown AC in the future and would recommend them to others.

I called yesterday morning at 9am when my AC unit stopped working. Donny the technician arrived by 11 am and was phenomenal. He was able to fix my very old AC unit and offered great advice. Beantown AC (BTA) was referred by its friendly competitor. They are very responsive in these busy days. BTA starts with automatic app in both emails and text messages regarding where their service crews are. The service crews are young and energetic under a foremans direction with obvious respect for their company. They are knowledgeable and professional. All the process was predictable and punctual. They come up with best options for their customers, and the cost estimate was transparent and fair. My customer experience with BTA was A+. I definitely recommend BTA to my friends and neighbors. It was a rare and pleasant experience for me to deal with plumbers like BTA.

Donny from Beantown did an incredible job at our house multiple different days. He was on time, responsive, and very clear in his communication about what he found and how he was going to fix everything. He ended up finding issues with our duct work in the 115 degree attic he had to work in the fix it properly, which he did, big time! We will certainly use this company again if needed!

My gas furnace died over night. I called Beantown in the morning and within an hour then had a technical at my door. Because it was emitting dangerous levels of carbon monoxide the furnace needed to be replaced, Within two hours a team arrived with a new furnace and did an exceptional job of taking out the old furnace and installing a new one. They made sure not to damage carpeting and left as if they had never been here. I recommend them without hesitation.

We got a full central air and heat pump system installed from scratch by Beantown. Through the whole process it was a very positive experience. We took advantage of the Mass Save rebate and loan programs, and the office staff did an excellent job coordinating everything on that front. We made the switch to Beantown a few years ago because we were tired of individual HVAC repair people not calling us back or showing up when they were scheduled to. Beantown runs a tight ship and you can always count on them to show up when they are supposed to. You can also feel confident that they are going to do the job right. Have had horrible experiences with contractors in our town (Marshfield) . Couldnt even get a timely quote to install a new mini-split system. That is until we took a chance with Beantown AC . Got a quote within 24 hours after contacting them. They came out and produced a quality quote (not on chick scratch paper) the same day! They also streamlined the process to get the Mass rebate which took less than a week due to their easy guidance. I cant say enough about their team of installers, yes a team! not 1 person but 4. They showed up promptly each day, no surprises, no excuses, just prompt service. Even though they did show up with masks, I asked them respectfully to keep all masks on even in unoccupied rooms due to my wife having a surgery that week. They respected that request 100%. As for their work, they were meticulous with their work and did not cut any corners. They took pride in their work, which you could tell by how precise they were with the joist mounts and how the lines were run, all neatly tucked in. Also fully enjoyed talking to them regarding the install details and how things were going to be done and inter-workings of the HVAC components. Learned a lot from them. We found our HVAC company and will exclusively use them moving forward.

I cannot recommend the Shane team from Beantown AC enough! They put in a gas furnace and created a two-zone heating system. I was told by another company that the way my furnace was configured, a two-zone system was impossible. Well, they found a way to do it as they said, our boss says nothing is impossible.They crew was efficient, left my place better than they found it and were friendly and professional.I have dealt with a lot of contractors in the process of upgrading my home. This company was one of the best. They were fair in their prices and their work was flawless. You wont go wrong hiring this company!

First off, let me tell you that I am usually a sceptic and one of those people who always feels like they’re being ripped off (personality flaw). That being said, I cannot explain how thrilled I am with the work that Beantown just finished at my house. They were extremely responsive to my calls and emails off the bat with their attentive office staff, to their estimator and certainly their crew members. They gave me what I felt was a reasonable estimate on a new heating system (oil boiler with multiple zones) and a new central air system in a home that never had one. They showed up with 7 installers including electricians and went right to work on Tuesday and had my whole house outfitted and running with both systems in 3 days which is impressive given the amount of work involved. At no time did I feel like I was not kept up to speed and they were very informative as to what the next steps were the whole time. I can even say that I’m not a fan of strangers in my house but their employees were so polite and honest that I was even comfortable leaving them in my house while I left for hours at a time. Everything was clean as a whistle at the end of each day. They were recommended to me by my parents who couldn’t have been happier with the service they received from Beantown over the last few years and I was assured by both my parents and Beantown that their repeat service is both fast and reliable. I needed help with diagnosing a damper issue we were having on our upstairs zone. Kendall took the time to listen to my explanation of the problem and you could tell he had heard of my issue before. He had a creative solution to the problem which required many tests of the AC system, on both the 1st and 2nd floors. Kendall was very customer centric, and his goal was to solve the problem and get the system operating at its highest level. I was referred to Beantown by a stranger. My experience started with a very sweet woman that took my call and set up the appointment for the tech to come out to my mothers home - his name is Matt. Her central AC was not working during this very hot and humid heatwave. During the time that he spent working on the unit, he was so professional. He spoke in laymans terms explaining the different options that she had to fix it. Matt really put us at ease with his explanations. We could not have had a better experience under the circumstances! Service is good. A bit pricey from the quote that I received, the staff does need to improve on educating the customer on what the difference is between each unit so that the customer can make a decision.

Recently bought a house with central AC, First time I have had Central Air. Neighbors recommended Beantown, so I called and set up a check up/ cleaning appointment to make sure my system was running correctly. Brian was the technician that arrived. Taught me a lot, very professional and answered my 100 questions. Classy guy that put me at ease. Will recommend Beantown .

Over the past few years, we had been having intermittent problems with our heat pump, which admittedly, is not a common or ideal heating system for this area. Each time, Beantown has come out and has fixed the problem and I have been impressed every time with how familiar they are with such an uncommon, unique heat pump system. Most recently the other day, Beantowns technician Matt Trent came by to look at our condenser fan. He was personable, on time, thorough, and a wealth of knowledge and didnt mind me standing by while he went through the intricacies of the inside of the condenser and explained each part, what it did and how it worked. Most importantly, he identified the issue we were having and got the condenser running again. Every person from Beantown that Ive interacted with (Tammy in the office included) has been great and I would highly recommend Beantown Heat & AC to anyone on the south shore.

For many years Beantown to care of my Mom’s central AC and although I was never directly involved, she was always very happy with their service and pricing. Now I’ve dealt with them one on one, as I was having issues with two of my three commercial AC units in the attic of a clubhouse in The Pinehills. They diagnosed the problem fairly quickly and I had cool air flowing in no time at’all! Worth 5 stars all day long.

Absolutely a top-notched company! I had them out for a service call on my AC. The condenser was over 16 years old and the furnace was almost 20 years old. They didnt charge me for the call as there was nothing they could do. I had them out again 2 weeks later for a quote. They were THOUSANDS less than the other 2 quotes I got. I decided to go with them and Erin in the office handled everything for me through Mass Save. We scheduled the install and the guys arrived right on time. Very professional and a great group of guys. They had the AC and Furnace in by the end of the day. They cleaned up the site and walked me through the nuts an bolts of my new unit. So great to know that there are still great companies out there with great employees in the office and out in the field. I highly recommend them!

My wife noticed a burning smell coming from our gas fired furnace after the heat was off. We called a plumber friend and described the problem. Although he didn’t service hot air systems, after describing the problem, he warned that it might be time for a new furnace. We called another friend looking for any recommendations for a trustworthy HVAC company and he recommended we call Beantown HVAC. We called that afternoon and spoke to a staff member who schedule a technician to come the next morning. We prepared for the worst, expecting to hear we’d need a new furnace to the tune of $3000-$5000. The gentleman came as planned the next morning and within a few minutes found that it was the water pump. He replaced it on the spot for less than $400 and restored our heat! If it was possible to leave a no star review I would of gladly done that. I called because my ac was blowing warm air. They showed up and only replaced a filter that I provided and then charged me 150$ to “fix the problem”. It’s been a week and I still don’t have ac. I attempted to call and have them rectify this issue but they were unhelpful and arrogant. I wouldn’t even suggest my worst enemy to use this company. I will go without ac than to pay these scam artist another penny.

Needed a brand new AC system to replace the current one. They explained all the options clearly and helped recommend the perfect size system. Very professional and great to work with. The installation crew were very professional and did an awesome job getting the old system out and the new one in. Installed a 2 zone system with new furnace and ac unit and later added a 3rd zone in an addition. The crew both times were very fast and efficient. I was having trouble with the thermostat at 9:00 PM on a Friday night and someone was at my house within 30 minutes to fix the problem. Great company.

This is our first experience with Beantown. Trent showed up right on time and diagnosed the noise in our furnace. He was friendly and knowledgeable and explained the issue. Beantown installed a new heat, and AC system into my 1890s house in downtown Plymouth. They also installed a new zone system for the first and second floor to run separately. They were on-time, neat, organized and highly-responsive to my questions and requests to relocate the placement of the external heating vents to the side of the house. Their price was very good and better than many I received. They walked through how to use the system and proper maintenance. They worked seamlessly with MassSave and handled all the paperwork for rebates for me. The new system is working beautifully. I would highly recommend them.

I had a problem with the central AC in my home that I needed fixed, and one of my close friends recommended Beantown AC. They set me up with an appointment right away and were quick to help me with my central AC. It only took them about an hour to fix it and it was back up and running with no problems. Our air conditioner suddenly caught fire in the middle of the night. My children were petrified and I too was not able to figure out what to do suddenly my neighbor gave me the emergency number of Beantown AC. I called them up and their technicians came within 15 min and gave a quick resolution to my problem. I did not even need to change my air conditioner they repaired it so well.

Great experience! When we turned on the ac for the first time this season, we noticed we had a leak. I called Beantown and they came out the next day. They were friendly, professional, and affordable. He even helped to explain to us how to prevent the problem from happening again in the future. Very smooth install for a 3-zone ductless AC system. Matt and Steve were very clean, polite, and on time. Work appears to be very nicely done.

We used the mass save program to upgrade our old heater and also the old central a/c both were more than 20 years old. After researching our options we picked Beantown AC. Every step of the process they made sure things went smoothly. They scheduled the installation a couple of weeks ahead, and things went exactly as scheduled. It was a couple of months before we needed the a/c and it didnt start, so we called Beantown A/C, they sent a tech out and he got things working quickly. Has been great all summer long, and our energy costs have gone down thanks to the efficient new systems including the Dave Lennox Signature Collection SL18XC1 which is also so much quieter than our old system
