Sorry didnt realize my comment didnt go thru. Very tight maneuvering for a sleeper truck and 53 foot trailer but had a very accommodating lady in the warehouse who moved a couple trucks out of the way. Overall a pleasant experience

Sadly, they dont stay behind their work they way I expected.I called them to diagnose and repair whats wrong with my AC that was working subpar. The technician determined I have leaking refrigerant and replenished it. I enjoyed cool air for almost a week. Then, my AC quit altogether. When calling Sabre back, I got blamed for not agreeing to replace the condenser unit because they couldnt find replacement for the slowly leaking coil - which would work for another few years, I am certain; and I am convinced its not the issue, but they wouldnt listen. I wouldnt mind paying for another visit; if they stopped showing that unnecessary condenser replacement down my throat.

Bought a new home and Sabre was the HVAC installer. Took a while to realize that the 3 electronic damper zones are all incorrect. Turn on the upstairs, the main floor turns on. Turn on the Basement, the upstairs turns on. For just $216 per hour they will come out to fix it. It seems they have a contract with builders to do new work. I dont understand how home owners call them. $216 per hour plus parts, and that is just to fix an installation error. *Update gave another star for replying and answering the phone. $216 was quoted as a non emergency rate, approximately 2 week wait. (Receptionist may remember me saying Id buy a book and learn it myself instead). I ended up paying $95 total to another company and tipped the provider another $40 for not charging enough for a two hour job. 2 dampers were hung up / caught on the inside ductwork.

Horrible. Built a house in 2017. Furnace was leaking from condenser line in 2020. Told out of warranty for labor. Used a local contractor. Furnace quit working March of 2021. Out of warranty for labor. Asked 275 for call plus 316 an hour. Part maybe covered for a 3 year old furnace. Again used a local contractor. Motor is bad on a 3 year old furnace. Horrible company.?would never use them for service.!

In 2017 had Nick from Sabre install an Aprilaire unit on our furnace which was located in an extremely tight spot. He was fantastic, kind and the best customer service I have ever had. Will have Sabre do another house of hours this year. Thank you Nick for loving your job!

The A/C was not working and of course service tech not available until after hours or otherwise wait for almost 1 week . Service Charge more than the sensor which was broke. I don’t think lawyers and doctors make that much money in less than 30 minutes. Exploitation at extreme.

Made the switch to Sabre years ago and have been very happy with their can do attitude and quick service. They have replaced my home water heater, air conditioner, and keep my furnace in shape.Very glad I took their recommendation on updating my air conditioner, this 2020 heat wave would have been punishing without it.Thanks Sabre!

No clue about their service, but their employees are horrible drivers. Cutting people off, driving in the left lane while matching the speed of the car in the right, then brake checks me for no reason in rush hour traffic. I wouldnt hire them based upon this unsafe experience. I could only imagine their work is une same unsafe quality....

I had a Bryant furnace that needed a new secondary heat exchanger that was covered under warranty. I had three bids from three different companies. The first two companies knew it was cold out, being December, and tried to price gouge me. A friend that does hvac recommended Sabre for repairs. They cost me half what the other bids did and did a great job. The person that did the work explained exactly what the issue was and how it was going to be fixed. Definitely recommend them!

I had a very small refrigerant leak in my AC and scheduled a service with Sabre. They accomdated my schedule. They showed up on time and were able to find the leak very quickly, showed me, and fixed it with reasonable price. They finished the work faster than initially estimated. Furthermore, the manager called me the next day to confirm that I’m satisfied with the service.

I had two older furnaces replaced; with one of them having a large air conditioner. Peter, the Retrofit Sales Manager, came to my home analyzed the situation and game me a proposal. I had one other bid and the Sabre price was very very fair. The installation team did a great job to minimize any downtime on the air conditioner (it was warm) and got the furnace with the A/C up and running right away and completed the other furnace the next day. The installation leader was smart, and communicated very well as to his plans for the installation and executed the whole installation effort. They also did a very good job of protecting my home and were able to bring everything through the walk-out basement, with extra care to protect my home and the flooring. Just a great job by all! I cannot say enough about the team effort and the overall value of the entire job!

We needed two visits - Jake came out first and was very knowledgeable and pleasant and polite. Grant came out a couple days later and was also knowledgeable and nice to talk to. They both did a great job. Sabres office staff is very helpful, calling prior to the arrival of the technician, and providing the technicians name and approximate arrival time. They are also well priced for their services. Definitely recommend.

Before I begin, I want to say that I have a unique situation. When my house was built (far before I bought it) they decided not to make room for a furnace inside the house. Instead, they opted to go with a furnace/air conditioner combo unit on the outside of the house. To protect my investment, I signed up for their Sabre Blue Maintenance Plan. For $300/year, a technician would come out twice a year to make sure the unit was running correctly. For the first few years, everything seemed to be working just fine. I believed that when they came out for the biannual checkup that they were doing a thorough inspection of the unit. Also, since there were different technicians who came out over the years, if one technician missed something then the next one would probably catch it (or so I thought).Things started to go wrong in the summer of 2018. At the beginning of August 2018, the air conditioner was not cooling my house so I had them come out. I looked back in my email and all I could find was a charge for $106.25. I dont delete emails so I was surprised to find no work order. On 8/16/2018, there was another charge for $108.00 to replace an “ARMOD”. On 10/11/2018, again my combo unit was having issues and I was charged another $125.00 for a trip fee. Next year on 8/22/2019, I again needed them to come out and repair my unit. This time at $234.00 and again with no work order so that I could not trace back what they did. One month later on 9/20/2019 they had to come out again. This time to replace the TXV at $433.89. The sheer number of issues with my unit should lead me to believe that these $300/year biannual checkups were either not being done or being done by untrained technicians. This leads to the most recent issue. On 2/4/2020, I noticed my furnace making a loud whirring noise. On the following day, it stopped producing heat. The technician who came out replaced the inducer motor. I asked what I could do to prevent this going forward and he told me that “sometimes they just seize up”. He got the furnace working but I noticed that there was barely any air pressure coming out of the vents. I was happy the furnace was working so I just let it run for the night. I woke up cold at 3:00 am and saw that the temperature in my house was 56 degrees. I called Sabre again the next day and informed them that the furnace would run for 20 minutes and then shut off. They sent a different technician the following day. After working on it for a number of hours the technician told me that furnace was overheating and that a safety switch was turning it off. I asked him what could be causing it to overheat and he replied: “I dont know”. He told me that he would increase the high limit so that the overheating would not shut off the furnace. I didnt like this answer so, for the first time, I decided to call another HVAC company, Blue Ox. Within 20 minutes the Blue Ox technician discovered that the evaporator coil was completely blocked by dirt and dust. The reason why it was overheating was that no air was coming through the intake and the motor was trying extra hard to suck in air. In addition to this, the Blue Ox technician noticed that the exhaust vent was still taped inside the furnace where the evaporator coil was. The Sabre technicians who installed the furnace didnt know or even bother to inspect the unit after they had installed it (hence the random fuses and bare wires). Since this exhaust vent had been in there since the installation, it meant that no Sabre technicians had bothered to look at the evaporator coil, not on the numerous times they came out to fix the unit or on the many biannual “checkups”. In addition, these “experts” rarely offered solutions and were not even curious as to what the underlying issues were. This makes me believe that they are either severely under-trained, extremely lazy, or unethical. Any way you cut it, it is a good reason to go with someone besides Sabre.

Grant came out to our house at 4am on a Sunday for a gas leak and identified and fixed the issue within 20 minutes. He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I am so impressed. Grant even took a moment to put a rug under an appliance so it didn’t scratch the wood floor when he moved the appliance. I would recommend Grant 10/10 times. I’ll call Sabre again if I have a need. Thanks Grant and Rosie.

We have worked with Steve for over 14 years and honesty shines through with the bid and what needs to be done. If need be the owner has all the skills to do the work himself. I have watched Sabre grow from two trucks to the size they are today and that does not happen other than by hard work and quality service. If an unfortunate issue does arise they immediately take corrective action.

These guys just bailed me out of a cold spot. The boiler on my hot water heating system wasnt working and I couldnt make contact with my regular service company. Everyone makes mistakes and accidents happen. It’s part of life. However, when a company repeatedly makes blunders which cost you money and then refuses to make it right, that’s just bad business. Personally, I had to take vacation time over six days and spend an additional $700 because of their errors. My wife and I built a new home last year with Sabre as the HVAC and plumbing contractor, and we’ve had an incredible amount of trouble with their quality, craftsmanship and customer service. Here’s is a quick rundown of the trouble we’ve had with Sabre:-The technicians at Sabre installed our HVAC system wrongly causing cold winter air to be forced into the house instead of passing through the furnace. This caused our winter heating bill to be $100-$150 more than the average for the winter months. It was eventually fixed, but in the end, their mistakes cost me money.-Because of the issues with the HVAC system would couldn’t use our lower level during the winter. The temperature rarely crept above 60 degrees. At night, the temperature rarely got above 55 degrees, despite our thermostat set at 70 degrees. The problem was eventually resolved, but it took over three months and six service visits to get it done.-Our 2 Zone HVAC system and thermostats were wired backward. The heat control on the thermostat was wired to the AC system, meaning the AC would turn on when the heat was supposed to. This meant we were greeted by a blast of cold air when the heat was supposed to turn on. This should have been found during inspection but was not. Again, Sabre had to send someone out.-Technicians had to come to our home six times over two months to fix the problems above. Yes, you read that correctly SIX TIMES. This forced me to take unnecessary time off and lose even more money. You know it’s ridiculous when you are on a first name basis with the technicians.-Finally, we had a natural gas line installed during the building process. I spoke with a rep from Sabre and was quoted over the phone $292 for the job. To my surprise, I received a bill for $550 after it was installed. This price was never agreed upon at any point. I would have paid the bill without much thought, but because we had so much trouble, I was extremely annoyed. I paid the bill, but the company should have compensated us.Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere.
