Chemicals in wash cycles werent working. I have used $2 car washes that were better maintained. I thought for $4, this one be in working condition the least. Vacuum worked perfectly fine for me otherwise. A lil TLC could bring it up to par.
Great car wash, powerful water..
Best self service hand wash in the Pleasanton area. Better then going through a car wash and getting your car scratched.
I love coming here mainly because of the old Betty boop clock lol BUT I love that all of the stalls have a paying station and extra space for cleaning the inside of your car. Fairly priced.
Clean and easy to access
Looks like the owner is a scammer. When I used tokens from token machine to pay the washing, it appeared that a $1 token thrown into pay box adds either $0.50 or $1 randomly. So I used a $10 bill to get 10 $1 tokens, and when I put them all into pay box, I got actually $6 or $6.50 worth of washing time. This place is sort of ok (yet a bit expensive) if you use actual money ($0.25, $1, $5) instead of their variable value tokens.Putting 2 stars because this place is still usable if you use actual money.
A Pleasanton staple, always clean orderly and everything is in working condition. Speaks as to why is has been in business for all these years.
I love this car wash. The owner takes great care of everything. They accept credit cards. Tokens ...dollar bills and quarters!
No frills self-wash, but the late hours are a plus for people who sleep during the day. tricky to access when Stanley Blvd is closed, but still manageable. all machines working normally. recommended if you dont mind navigating downtown.
Quality deep cleaning wash and wax machine thing. Blowers never dry the whole car but did a good job on my land cruiser . only had to wipe a couple small spots afterwards.
QUIET PLACE TO WASH YOUR VEHICLE
Everything works well, no complaints!
Machine to get tokens broken not kept upPlease repair this car wash
Warning!! Do not use a debit card to pay for the wash. They charged me double the cash rate for the same amount of time. Edit to post...they did not overcharge me. Apologies.
4$ for 4 minutes is steep. it takes 2 turns to give a car complete wash. they should at least have an option to pause while you use the brush.
Small place but very good place to wash your car, very good clean place, very good owner, good experience, very very small quantity of water with pressure coming out, excellent equipment, washing by coin and if we need more time, then dollar per minute so quickly one has to wash ,very very lovely experience, very good owner, very good behaviour, very good shop.
You owe me 6$bucks bay 3 doesnt work
Great place to wash your car
I can understand making a profit but come on $3.50 for the first 4min then a dollar for each additional minute & oh, dont let the timer run out or you start over with the $3.50.....
The machines for selecting what cleaner you want to use is very touchy, and sometimes confusing because the dial doesnt always point at what you are getting from the nozzle. Also, the spot free rinse made it look like i poured milk all over my car and let it dry, and thats after i used the high pressure rinse to remove all of the soap.At times i have tried to use certain thing like the wax spray, to get nothing, so it must have been empty.I have had success washing my vehicles here before, but it usually takes me needing to pump more money into the machine to get a good and thorough clean and rinse in order to combat these issues. To be fair, these do not always present themelves, but since you have no way for resolution if there is a problem, it can be a bit of an annoyance.
Not the best car wash thats for sure. I will say not the worst either. The vacuum is pretty strong and so is the pressure from the hose. Only a few bays and one working vacuum. One plus is that it uses regular quarters so there is no chance of getting stuck with extra tokens and subsequently losing them before you wash your car again. All in all the place gets the job done.
If you are trying to spend more money and still not get you car clean, here’s the place! they have poor water pressure so you are just sitting there waiting for the water to pretty much rain off the soap. The vacuums don’t even pick up anything. I went to two and they both are acting like something was clogging the hose.not a good car wash at all!!
Whenever I went there everything has worked well. But a few things to note:There are bumps on some of the bays and they are too high for some of the cars. The underside of the car could be damaged. Oweners, please cut them down or remove them. It could even be a liability for the owners. The credit card machine is terrible. Do not use it. It charges its own value irrespecive of what is required. The card has to be pushed through a curved slot to swipe.
Do it yourself, it is about 6 bucks and you get your car clean, bring your own towels. it is fast, easy and effective
This is one of the few remaining do it yourself car washes in the valley. Livermore no longer has the one near First St with the new townhomes in that area. This place is pretty small, but generally clean and fully operational.
I feel like this place got some unfair reviews. For what it is, a self service coin operated its just like all the others, except everything works, is clean, and in a good neighborhood. The machines take the tokens or quarters from the change machines. Wash your car and vacuum in steps. I made it out vacuumed and washed for $12. 2× washes (1 soap and brush,1 wash), 4x vacuums.
Cheap, fast, easy. What more do you want from a coin car wash?
This is the best self serve carwash in the Try Valley. Everything works properly.
Good place for self car wash but come prepared for some workout
I would have probably given it a better review. But here is it: I used bay 4 (which is the one without roof) for my first sedan and it worked well. No complaints. Then it was my second sedans turn and I had to use Bay 1 (which is on the left next to the wall). The dial didnt work properly - when I was trying to point to the wash I want to select, it did get stuck in the middle. When I selected soaker wash - only little trickle came out, which is totally not acceptable comparing how the timer works. Then when it came to rinse cycle - again the trickle came out, so I rinsed the car with wax setting. BTW even spotless rinse gave a trickle of water. We spent $7 on second wash comparing to the first of $4 wash. (maybe the timer in Bay 1 is off too??). I wish there is a way to let owner know about problem in Bay 1.With the drought declared and us living close by - I say I will probably come back. I aint going to go to Bay 1 for sure!
A little pricey, be sure to bring lots of money
One of the only do it yourself car washes in the area. Charges 5 minutes initially and then by then minute afterwards.
Fantastic facility. Very happy with this being close by.
Good cheap self-service wash. Equipment is always working well, lots of vending machines if you need cleaning supplies.
Its ok. Pretty run down.
Good self service pressure wash. All bays and vacuum cleaners in working order every time I have stopped.
Fair pricing. Vacuum on site. Background music playing.
Convenient for RVs. The coin and card payment system which shuts off the water after a moment or two is a bit cumbersome.
Coin operated car wash style, but you can use a credit card in $1 increments
I shower here when I run out of soap. 10/10!
Very friendly attendant. Car did not get very clean.
Self car wash. Dont get confused with machine car wash.
No water pressure. Couldnt even blast all the bird poop off my car.
Too much foam not enough presoak soap or pressure. 4 minutes would be better for base time. Cant do car fast enough.
Theres no way to pay. Need to fix the credit card machines so you can have customers again.
Ok place to wash the car. Hard to find
Timers run fast.
Leaves a lot of water spots even when using spot free rinse.
There is always soap in the brush
Couldnt give less than one
Good place to wash your car but can be a bit expensive.
Easy, & close to home 😊
Good place
A little pricey
Love it
Its ok
Faster
It worked
It is an inexpensive and great place to wash my car myself.
Sometimes there is no soap to wash
Good, lots of space good products. Ideal for self wash use.
Bissel cumbersome if you do not have enough change and for a RV only partially suitable but feasible. Beautiful pink foam 🙃
Its okay...
Do not pay by card charges double
