Wonderful first experience at Bishops in Pleasanton after bidding on a package for the Vintage Hills Elementary auction. My 9 year old son with thick out of control, in need of a cut, hair came out handsome as ever. He commented to me in the car how nice the woman stylist was and that they “played hip music .. like way better than places without good music and had cool paintings on the wall”We found our new spot for sure and will be sending my husband, myself and daughters next :)

I went into Bishops with severely damaged hair, so much so I was honestly embarrassed to see a professional so I avoided it until I had a little more growth to my hair so theyd have a little more to work with. I also have an unconventional cut (Mohawk) so I wanted to go to a place that understood how to fix it properly according to how I typically wear it. The cut and service I was given was great and the Stylist treated me with nothing but professionalism. I can finally wear my hair down without being self conscious that its uneven!

The environment and the staff were very nice, but the roof lighting is not a good idea for hair styling. Will mention later. Also the actual haircuts were not very good at all. First trip I had, the stylist left the back part of the top of my hair at 3 inches and the front at 1.5 inches. Didnt really notice it until I washed my hair at home and got the product out. Decided to try a different stylist and this one was not much better. I dont think she has done many fades, because I had to inform her about the visible line she left where she was supposed to blend. Her reason for missing that, was because of the lighting in the building. As someone who used to get my haircut at a old fashion barbershop that specialized in male haircuts and fades, I could clearly tell that this place was not for me.

I got my keratin treatment done. The stylist recommended that I dont wash my hair for 72 hours and keep it straight and straighten it if I see any curls. I followed exactly what she said and washed my hair after 72hrs of the treatment. But the my hair doesnt look frizz free even after spending so much! Ive got protein treatments done many times before this but never had such disappointing results.

My stylist was attentive and gracious. Very happy with the cut and will return.

My friend recommended the Bishops salon when I decided to get highlights. I have never colored my hair before and was extremely nervous about doing so. I called to make an appointment for the weekend. I was also told they have special discounts on Tuesday - so I changed my appointment to Tuesday to take advantage of that. I am extremely happy with my hair. The stylist made me feel comfortable and spent a good amount of time consulting with me. I am very happy with my highlights and I was also advised on how to take care of my hair so the color lasts a while. I would definitely recommend Bishops!

I love everything about this salon. Lila is my stylist. Ive been coming here for a few months after trying to find a salon to do keratin treatments and work with my natural hair. Recently, Lila gave me a keratin treatment and a short bob. I love my hair! The short bob is my look for awhile and I hope to add a pop of color later this summer.

A friend referred me to Bishops. I made an appointment for an ombré and got my hair colored and styled by Francesca. This was an amazing experience. The salon is located in a posh apartment community. The vibe is really cool with great music. They also offer beer with your service. There’s fun art on the wall. Most importantly the stylist treated me well and made me feel comfortable throughout the service.An even bigger upside, they don’t push retail on you. I ended up buying products but not once did it feel like a sales pitch.Great experience and I highly recommend Francesca.

I started getting my hair cut at Bishops about a month ago after following my hairdresser from another location. Bishops has a relaxed vibe, complimentary drinks, and reasonable haircut prices. I recommend it without hesitation!

I took a huge chance on my hair a couple months ago. I hadn’t gotten my hair cut in about two years ( aside from a tiny trim ) and felt the need to have a change. After contemplating my decision I decided to checkout Bishops. I knew I wanted to have bangs and then possibly a few inches off my length. I walked in, was paired with Lila. I showed her the pictures of the bangs which I desired and let her do her thing...it turned out amazing!! She was so thorough and mindful of the entire process. After about another day or two I reached out to her asking to cut my hair shorter. My bangs were great and I wanted to take let her take the risk of cutting my hair to my shoulders. With excitement, I arrived to Bishops once more and let Lila work her magic again. There it was 19 INCHES GONE. I could have been happier 💛 The entire experience was absolutely amazing and for that I will only have my hair cut at Bishops here in Pleasanton 😊

I had my haircut, beard trim, and grey blending done at this location. Tee did an amazing job and understood what I was looking for. Im very insecure about my hairstyle as I have thinning hairline. My only cue to Tee was that I want my hair to look fuller. She was able to come up with a cool hairstyle and I was extremely happy with the result. Usually I dont stick to the same barber but this time I plan to get my hair done by Tee regularly as she understands my concerns about my hair. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love this place! It was my second time today, and I am officially moving away from my barber.It has been painful to follow my barber and schedule appts 3-4 weeks in advance. I love the fact that I can walk in and get serviced within minutes! I believe you can make appts online as well. You get to enjoy a great haircut while enjoying good music and a cold beer :).

I went in a week ago to have my hair colored and cut. Lila did my hair and did an amazing job! My roots where out grown so much and she was able to match it perfectly! I had also asked for layers since my hair was one length. My hair hasnt looked and felt rhus healthy in so long! I couldnt thank her enough!

I made an appointment and as soon as I walked in, I already had a bad vibe from the receptionist... she told me they were running behind and that I had to come back in 1.5 hours. She said this like it was no big deal. Needless to say, my first experience was the worst experience in service Ive ever experienced!
