There is the most onery, mean spirited, cranky, rudest lady in the world at the PG post office, she works in the shipping packages dept. if you can, it is well worth your time to drive to any of the nearby cities to use their post office, just so you don’t need to interact with this old bag
Absolutely terrible and rude people work here. I filed a complaint and will follow up to make sure they are reprimanded. Literally no help. I was told by the post Master at this location that complaints do not work because they are part of a union. This is blatant corruption and Id hope government employees would be held at a higher (or at least an average standard). I will ensure that I never have to set foot in that establishment again
The staff here make wait times worth it! Awesome, helpful, kind group of people!
Penni, Paul, Lael, DAnn, Ryan and Ovida are always so helpful! Thank you!
I have been to this post office several times in the last few months since my son left for a mission. I have to say they deserve more then their 2 and 1/2 stars. They deserve 10 as far as post offices go. They are so friendly, which is unusual for a post office! This last time, I needed to mail something fragile and the woman behind the counter (sweet little Navajo lady) offered me some bubble wrap that she was just going to throw away instead of making me buy a whole roll for my small item. Then I didnt have a pen to write the address she handed me a pen. She gave me a piece of tape to secure the package. I know these are all little things but they make a big difference. And I know there are many post offices that wont do those little things. If you have to mail something go to this post office. They are REFRESHINGLY nice!!
Rude people. I needed a piece of tape for my package and they said they don’t have any? At the post office? I saw a package tape sitting in view and was told that’s for express mail. Absolute trash.
I used to give this post office two stars then I actually started to get to know the individuals that work at the post office and I would give them five stars any day of the week! Yes theyve lost a few packages of mine but I run an online thrift store and I get it it happens. Its not their fault that there are sometimes dishonest people in the postal system. This post office has given me free boxes envelopes they drop things at my doorstep if theyre worried about it being taken out of the mailbox theyre just beyond awesome! Thank you guys so much for all your hard work!It truly means a lot that when I call you guys with a package thats lost in transit You guys actually do something about it. Have one I need to call you about now actually. Thank you guys!
Ive been dropping packages off here a few times every week for a few years now and Ive never had any issues. Any time Ive had questions or needed help with anything, theyve been helpful.
Worst customer service. They set their phone to be not pick up. Its just all automatic and I cant have any answer to that robot auto phone. So frustrated because no one can help. They said they are open at 5:30. I was there during the week day at 5:15. No one there and it was closed. It wasnt a holiday or anything. Never had any issue with other post office, but this one is very very frustrating.
Never had a problem here through my many visits
Im sure not all of them are as bad as my mail delivery guy, but hes the worst. Needs to find a new line of work where expectations of doing his job are non-existent. Im sure he would flourish there.
We really used to like coming here, but as of lately they have turned into nothing but a bunch a policy enforcers on masks. So beware, also they are typically very slow, plan on spending 30-45 minutes here waiting in line if you need to do certified mail.
The employees are great to work with. They definitely have a lot on their plates, so friendly conversation and a smile makes their day. They keep the place clean, though it can be very difficult to find a pen, and the lines usually go very quickly.
The people here are very nice and helpful.
NORMALLY THIS POST OFFICE IS AWESOME! NORMALLY ALL THE GUYS THERE ARE GREAT AND HELPFUL AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE! WELL NOT TODAY! THERE IS A NEW GUY NAMED PAUL,I NEEDED A SMALL PIECE OF TAPE TO COVER A SLIT IN THE PACKAGE IN WHICH I HAD ALREADY STAMPED. HE WOULD NOT GIVE ME A PIECE OF TAPE! MADE ME DRIVE BACK TO MY OFFICE TO TAPE IT AND DRIVE BACK... RIDICULOUS! LIKE A SMALL PIECE OF TAPE IS GOING TO BREAK THE BANK! WHEN i GOT THERE, THE OTHER POSTAL WORKER WAS TAPING UP A BOX FOR HIS CUSTOMER, I HAVE BEEN THERE MANY TIMES AND GARY HAS EVEN OFFERD TO ADD ADDITIONAL TAPE FOR EXTRA SECURITY.... THERE HAS NEVER BEEN AN ISSUE OR A PROBLEM EVER WITH THIS.. WHY NOW WHAT IS PAULS DEAL! DONT GO TO HIS WINDOW... HE IS NOT HELPFUL NOR DOES HE TRY TO GO THE EXTRA MILE TO HELP YOU... UNLESS YOUR HISPANIC! HE SEEMS TO BE VERY HELPFUL FOR THEM.
Really bad service, they seem to be operating by really outdated policies when compared to FedEx and UPS. I had a prepaid return label sent to me by Walmart, and I took in my box and showed them the return label assuming they’d be able to scan it, print it, and tape it on for me like UPS and FedEx do.The woman told me their computers can’t do that, so she told me to go down the street to a copy center, print my label and come back.I came back with my printed label, and she said “I don’t have any packaging tape, you’ll have to use this scotch tape”.I hope my package arrives because it’s only secured with scotch tape. USPS is so ghetto, they need to keep up with other couriers basic services.
I love Pleasant grove post office i know sometime is busy, but love the people that work there always with such great attitude an willing to help, they careI didnt have same experience and other usps Thank you
Three posters from three different locations on eBay . The first two have arrived, both were bent and the posters destroyed. Both on different days. They were in very sturdy tubes so why on earth were they crushed?
I’ve got a tiny business and so I come often and I’ve always had good experiences. The employees have been so helpful to me and recognize me when I come in.
I go out of my way to do business at this post office vs two others that are closer to my house. I always have a positive experience.
Two weeks ago, I paid a $40.00 fee to get a mail key made. I was told by the worker that it would be ready in two weeks because the guy who makes keys was on a vacation. I was supposed to wait for a call, and until then I could fill out a neat little form to have my mail held for me at the post office. I filled out the forms, I was nice, and I went on my merry way. Two weeks pass by. No call. So I shrug and assume they had just forgotten to call, and I go in to the post office to grab the key. It turns out that the mail key request had been sitting idle for two weeks and NOTHING was done about it, and the cherry on top was that they lost the form I had filled out to hold my mail. I got pretty frusterated right then because there are some pretty important things in the mailbox I am waiting for. I requested either a refund or my mail key, and they refuse to hold to their word. The USPS needs to be dispanded. They will not delegate simple tasks to other employees when someone goes on vacation or personal leave. They are awful with customer service. They treated me like I was stupid with every single interaction. They are unorganized. The USPS is a ridiculous WASTE OF TAXPAYER MONEY.
I went to drop off some mail at the outdoor mailbox today only to find there was so much mail in the box it was overflowing. So much that I couldn’t even stick my mail in the slot. Clearly this hasn’t been emptied in a long time. If you’re using this mailbox I would make sure your bills or mail you’ve put in there has actually got sent out. I did call to notify them of this issue.
My mail has been returned repeatedly. Important mail. Even reported them to their head office with no results. Had to open a UPS box.
This is my favorite post office. I have always found the employees here to be friendly and courteous. I feel like when speed is an issue its because of crazy shipping issues with the customers, which the postal workers cant avoid. When I got stuck in a long line for Christmas to pick up a package that needed a signature, I was grateful that they opened a pick-up line. I go out of my way to go to THIS post office because Ive had unpleasant experiences at other locations, but theyve always been terrific here. Super friendly and helpful.
Horrible service. slow. They let people cut in line after we have been waiting forever. they changed my lock on my community mailbox without telling me. I requested new keys they said it will take a week and then they will call me. a month went by with no call. I went in to ask and they show no record of me requesting new keys. Tom the man at the counter watched me fill out the form a month ago. this is ridiculous. they need to be sat down and informed on how to take care of customers and follow their own protocols.
Some of the coolest postal workers Ive met. I think people can sometimes be hyper critical of government offices but other than long lines, which happens anywhere, Ive never had anything negative happen here.
Can I give zero stars!? Im not surprised this place has such a bad rating. I dont know what their problem is but Ive requested several times to have my mail put on avacation hold and it still gets delivered and sits in my mailbox for days without being picked up. I can only hope with the way identity theft is these days nothing gets stolen from my mailbox when Im on vacation simply because the PG post office sucks! Youd think with the entire postal system on the verge of folding they would step up their game and have a better performance record so people would fight for them to keep their jobs.
Im rarely the person to post bad reviews, and even if I have a bad experience I give that place the benefit of the doubt before it leads to a bad review. Especially the post office, because I feel they are put under a lot of pressure. HOWEVER, the past few times Ive gone to this post office, either the self-service or the self-drop package box were locked and unusable. If nothing else, you should be able to rely on the post offices self service right?! Yeah, not here. I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but Ive been left frustrated too often. Its not worth the location factor for me anymore, Im willing to drive farther to the American Fork post office to get it done faster and more efficiently. Ive been given up hope on the Pleasant Grove post office. :(
This post office SUCKS! Our business just moved to our new location in Lindon, and due to that, we get the pleasure of dealing this ridiculous location. It has been a nightmare trying to get USPS here to pickup our packages on a daily schedule. The first two weeks took probably half a dozen calls at least to get our pickup on the schedule. When they finally started picking up from our business, the regular driver is awesome to deal with, and comes daily. HOWEVER, if the regular driver is gone, then its back to the crap shoot pickup schedule. (Maybe once or twice a week if that) I have been trying to call them lately to see what is up, and it seems like there phones are down, and never ring. If and when they pickup the phone, they are often rude or disrespectful. If it was up to me, I would try to get the American Fork location we used to deal with to pickup for us. This location is a joke.
They constantly loose our packages. We have lost three in the past two weeks. If you have Amazon Prime using a USPS delivery, then Amazons promised delivery dates have no merit. USPS in Pleasant Grove cant distinguish a printed 8 from a 4. They will not conduct thorough enough investigations to see where your lost package is located and will not reimburse for loses due to their error. Dont order something expensive using their services.Currently in line for 30 minutes not because of the line but because the employee wants to talk about the current Haitian leaders and anything else that comes to mind. This is not only a reflection on the poor work ethics but fireable management. 21st NOV 2017 morning. Now USPS knows who to investigate for waste and abuse in their fraud waste and abuse policies.
The employees treat you like dirt here. The phone system is awful- theres no way to reach an actual person. The customer service is horrid. They dont delegate simple tasks (like making mail keys) to other employees when someone goes on vacation. When they deliver mail, it is mishandled and arrives in all sorts of disarray. The PG post office makes me so angry.
The postal employees in this office are so friendly and helpful! I would rather go to this office than any other in the area. They make the experience enjoyable!
Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.... unless they have to get out of the truck. Now I have try and make it there office to pick up my mail before they close, which for the last month I have not been able to do. They will not work with my at all, and will not come up with any solution for their problems getting their job done, other than asking me to do it for them. Worst customer service ever! On top of that they lost a package...they didnt even have to take it anywhere and they lost it. With my job I have to work with the American Fork Post Office daily, and they are wonderful, quick, lively and professional the complete opposite of the Pleasant Grove office.
If you go in. They’re nice. If you need any help at all there’s no way to reach an ACTUAL PERSON the phone number is all automated and extremely unhelpful.
The postal workers in Pleasant Grove are just awesome! Every time I go, they always are quick, efficient, professional yet personable. I won’t go anywhere else!
The post office staff has always been friendly when Ive gone in. Theyve also been patient and have answered questions that Ive had. My only complaint is when some packages went lost, I called and the representative didnt seem to care and brushed me off. I reached out to a manager who I felt actually listened to me and did what she could. She also followed up with me and, when they couldnt find my package, gave me steps on how to file a claim.
Spoke with Ron this morning. Worst customer care service ever. Please tax me more and find better people to work at the this office. I will no longer ship with USPS... UPS- much better service and cheaper
I had two orders that were received by the post at the same time according to the trackers. They brought me 1-2 and left the other one at the office. now I get to wait over the weekend due to negligence. No wonder you guys are going bankrupt.
Cant ever get through to speak with someone. Been trying all day long. Should have a few numbers to be able to get through to a person. Maybe even an automated system to where they can call the next person that has a question. Very unsatisfied with this post office. Sadly I live in the city, and can only use this post office.
I love this post office! I have dealt with them on multiple things; getting a new lock for a apartment mail box, getting a PO box, shipping items, ect. They have always been kind and extremely helpful. Ive never heard the staff be rude or short with anyone, even when the situation is stressful. The staff spends quite a bit of time with each guest, and that can result in long wait time, but you have quality time when its your turn.
Remember the dmv scene in Zootopia, where all the employees are sloths? This is that. But worse. With a huge line waiting yesterday, the employees stood there not helping customers while talking about one of their upcoming Mexican cruises. And I literally dont know how its physically possible to move as slow as they all do. I dont think I moved that slow walking to the bathroom a few minutes after pushing out a baby. But somehow they manage.Prices are also insanely high.I couldnt recommend avoiding this place more. Amazon has gone way downhill since their contract with USPS...basically anything that touches USPS becomes slow and inefficient.
Everytime I call because of an issue the people who work in the office are always short tempered and give an attitude. The carriers are rude also and will leave notes if they dont want to deliver. And also deliver to the wrong address all the time and do nothing about it.
Absolute incompetents who dont seem to care when they lose things. I wasnt home when they tried to deliver a package, so I went to the post office the next day to pick it up as per their instructions. They couldnt find it. I tried again the next day, and the next day; they still couldnt find it, and they hadnt been able to contact the carrier. Five days after the delivery attempt they finally talk to the carrier, and he/she has no clue. After four days of bureaucratic hell they dont have the decency to acknowledge that theyve lost the package -- instead they give me the number of consumer affairs and tell me to complain to them... so I have to waste even more of my time on the phone with more bureaucratic runaround!
I called and asked them to hold an important package for me so i could pick it up before i left for work. I live next door to the post office and my mail man doesnt come till late afternoon. I was told it would be hold, but they sent it with the carrier anyways. NOT happy about my experience with them!.
Very friendly and helpful!
Never had problems. The staff is awesome and very helpful. I have seen customers go off on the staff, but the reasoning behind their arguments have been mostly customer error.
I feel the employees are under a lot of stress. They are friendly, but worn out. They are understaffed and the lines are always out the door. People retire or quit and they can not replace them. You see the same people trying to sort mail in the back and run to the front to help customers. Also, my mail is frequently misplaced and put in my neighbors boxes. Many days it is not delivered until 6:00 pm or later (I have even had mail not be delivered at one day, then get double mail the next). I own a business out of my home and am constantly asking my neighbors if they have gotten my mail. Many times I have had to have the business I work with re-issue checks, because they have been lost in the mail. It is February and I just received a Christmas card from Provo that was sent in December! Not good! Another problem, Pleasant Grove, American Fork and Orem post offices take their phones off the hook in the afternoon, so they all ring busy until the next day. Our post offices need more help!!!!
Please put them out of our misery
Least favorite post office. Slow workers with no sense of urgency. I dont want to chat, sometimes I just want things to be efficient. They are certainly far from that. Id rather go way out of my way than to frequent this post office.
Slowest most anemic employees. Government efficiency at its finest. No public business would survive, even for one month, at this caliber of service. At 1:30 pm on a Friday there was one employee at the counter. In the 10 min I stood in line he failed to completely help one customer, sent them to his coworker who had returned from a lunch break. I was #4 in a que 7 deep. I left.
They are always cheerful and efficient.
My mail often goes to other houses and today I recieved somebody elses perscription drugs in my mail box. I still have not found my grandsons wedding invitation.Last time I did a mail hold online, I came home to a full mailbox of mail stuffed in all week while I was out of town.
I believe this is the best USPS Ive ever experienced. Coming from Las Vegas I know how terrible a post office could be due to the size of its population and lack of workers. Not only does the PG location have more than one person working but they move quickly. Ive gone on many occasions and its the same people doing the same things (their best). Set yourself up for success by utilizing the tool given (the peak times tool) to know when and when NOT to go and try not to be rude to the poor guys and gals behind the counter. Youd be surprised what a friendly smile and common courtesy would get you.In a nutshell Ive never had any problems, I enjoy the workers and my packages arrive on time. What more could you want from a post office.
Wow. We havent been receiving mail for 2 weeks now. Call in to get it figured out and spoke with Ron. Cannot believe the amount of disrespect in that phone call. My husband had called in earlier to find out what was going on and had spoken with Ron and he was extremely unhelpful. Pretty much just told us that its too bad that we arent receiving our mail and that they arent going to do anything about it. Then I spoke with crystal. More kind but still just a very unhelpful process. If they were in my shoes they would be concerned. Bills come in the mail. Its Christmas!!! I have things I need to receive. Just very disappointed with this post office. I work in Customer Service. I know how to treat a client. That was unreal.
I would give them zero stars if I could. I have had 6 packages misplaced and delivered incorrectly. Ive only lived in PG for 6 months. They cant seem to find the packages and tell me there is nothing they can do. So aggravated with the USPS. :-(
This post office was awesome! After reading the reviews I was a little bit nervous to go, however, Merlin helped me and He was awesome! He didnt hastle me because of my packaging (reused diaper and lightbulb boxes) and was very knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly.
The Pleasant Grove post office is the definition of incompetent. The have been mistakenly delivering our mail to the houses (with the same house number) 2, 3, and 4 block north of us for as long as we have lived here. So much so, that we have come to know the other houses very well, and every time we see one of them at our door we know exactly why they are there... fixing the post offices delivery mistakes! We return the favor to them as well. Its a minor annoyance at times, but when you are expecting an important time sensitive delivery it is incredibly frustrating!!! It would be simple for them to fix too: mail carriers need to check the address before dropping the mail! I remember seeing the Payson mail carriers doing that as a kid. I cant believe this post office can get away with this level of poor workmanship. It is just plain laziness. I am Sooo tired of it!!
First time at this post office. Thomas helped me and was very friendly! Great experience!
Meh. The Post office is decent.
Most post offices are understaffed with long lines at Christmas and even late afternoons. The people who work here are very personable. Its different that way than most other post offices.
These people are idiots or something. Completely incapable of working at a federal level. Slow and unhelpful deliver to addresses that don’t even exist. Very rude lady manager
Its USPS, so theyre getting paid no matter what they do. The service here has been pretty good overall, but the mail delivery is subpar at BEST. Ah, well. Not much that can be done about it...
The pre paid drop off isn’t secure so we have to drop our packages off in the back and I spend 10 min at a time waiting for them to answer the buzzer. Please fix this!
I frequently use this post office several times a week to ship packages for my business and every single time I have gone in there is one clerk who constantly complains about how they are not staffed enough and I will sit and wait in line for at least 15 minutes and hear him complain to several customers who come up to him. He is also very rude about the way things are packaged. I might be going to another post office now just so I dont have to have that kind of experience again.
Two out of three times my packages have been lost that I have sent. I would highly recommend going to a different post office.
Wow...to come here and see other people have experienced the same foolery I have is disheartening. I wish someone could bring this post office up to par. Endless packages undelivered and when I come to retrieve the packages I too run into long lines and nastiness mentioned below smh! This is terrible! Also, sometimes I am not aware I have a package waiting as no slip is left....currently experiencing this right now! Shame on you! DO BETTER
Jesse answered my phone call. VERY professional and explained the whole process of why my order is delayed. super friendly!! thanks jesse!
SUPER disorganized. Very very very disappointed and dissatisfied. I called at 9am to track a package that they said was there (a real life human person told me that over the phone) went after work to pick it up and it had mysteriously disappeared.
Check out my post...you will love this location! friendly, helpful, organized...the best!
Absolute WORST post office.. Slowest damn people on the planet, when it takes an hour to mail a package something is wrong. The staff all seem to have their heads in cloud because they certainly are not with it..Also, the mail delivery to our home address sucks. The mail man will drive right past our house because a vehicle is parked by or near our mailbox. Living by a school we get a lot of pedestrians parking around our home, the mail man said it is to much of an Inconvince for him to get out and place the mail in the box.To think they wonder why the USPS system is broke. Its because of places like this one.Avoid it at all costs.
Good personnel, who deal with USPS cut backs, and short staff as well as they can. If you go early, in and out in 5min or lesd
Repeatedly marks my packages delivered and then I don’t get them for days after
The employees are in tiled. So slow. Not their time.
I absolutely love this post office and the people that work there.
Phoned the Post Office and spoke with Mario ~ incredibly helpful in a very short period of time. Thanks Mario!!
I hate going here to ship my items I sell online. One of the clerks is super rude and complains about anyway someone packages something. Not just mine but I see him say and be rude to others in line. Always try to go to AF when Im out there CUZ I dislike him a lot. Ive called and complained before but guess hes going to be rude either way.
Multiple times I have had a package where the tracking is hardly updated and sometimes would say they have it for a long while. I call to try and find out if its out for delivery or if I can pick it up, they dont even try to look and just tell me the only way to tell is to watch the tracking number.
The people they serve are friendly and efficient, thanks.
Lines are usually long like most post offices, but customer service has always been great when Ive gone. Very friendly staff.
Truelely amazing one on one customer service. If you make it to the end of the line.
The employees are so rude, and When I call, the lady told me that she has more important things to do than assist me with my package pickup at the post office, and she hung up the phone. She was rude and inconsiderate.
Sent a package to my daughter said delivered 08/29/18@6:36 but she did not receive it???
I have never been in this post office for less than 30 minutes. There are never enough people working and the ones that are working are more interested in talking to each other than moving the line along. Its always torture. I never choose to come here unless I have to pick something up.
They try, they really do. But they have god awful, lazy employees.
JEFF HELPED ME RESOLVE A POTENTIAL PROBLEM. HE WAS GREAT.
The staff is very helpful (and funny)
Excellent customer service and quick line.
Another package that was not delivered while tracking shows it was. Three out of the last four either lost or not delivered.Try to use another service.
They took care of my every need in three minuets. You guys are such complainers
Very long wait times, with slow workers unfortunately. Needs more staff to handle their volume of traffic they have.
Worst post office and services ever. Always a line the door. Avoid avoid Avoid
Customer service was not good, very slow, customers were off topic and I unprofessional.
I have now been here for over an hour. The service is absolutely horrible! The workers are extremely slow and seem to care more about talking about football then actually helping people. Seriously if I didnt have to go here for my mail I would never come back.
Customer service was very helpful!
Maybe one day Ill actually get my packages from them....
Takes way long to get through the stinking line.
Quick, knowledgeable, helpful, courteous.
Always busy
