I had acrylics on previous to coming into Mimis for the first time. I had taken the nails off of one hand and decided to wait to go to the salon so they could take the other nails off. They hurt SO BAD. The nail tech (Tina) just ripped them off as well as some of my natural nail and skin. She later put on the gels I wanted but did it so quick and messy.

Wonderful experience. They definitely know what they are doing and the prices are perfect. I got my eye brows and lip waxed. I got regular polish on my toes and gel on my fingers. I only paid $55 for everything. Not including the tip. Jenny and Cindy are my go to girls because they do such an amazing job. Keep up the great job ladies! You both rock! 💙💚💛🧡💜❤

I was in Plant City for the day and needed to get my nails filled. It was my first time at this salon and I was impressed. They got me right in without having to wait. The nail lady was friendly and knew what she was doing. I got the polish on my toes changed to match my nails. The total for a fill and color change was $50!! What a great deal! I would drive to Plant City to come back to this salon

I’ve had such a struggle with finding a good nail salon. I would pay someone and 2/3 days later my nails were already falling off so I decided to try this place, and I LOVE the way they did my nails, they restarted them from scratch and made them look beautiful...and I have had no problem with them staying on a FULL TWO WEEKS! I will definitely be back to get my fill in :)

May 14 2020, the guy with the blue mask and the red shirt did fantastic with my nails 💕 . But no I’m not spoiled lol, whenever I get my nails done it would be rarely cause of my strict mom but thank you for sure I’m coming again !

Customer service is poor. Spent 120 on service expected to be atleast acknowledged and spoken to. Nothing. Get you in and push you out. New to the area and was hoping I could find a shop to settle into. I will keep looking. Mimi did my eyebrow wax came into the room rushed and did not even offer me a mirror to look at her work, simply walked out of the room as she said she was done. When I got to my car and looked in my mirror, I quickly realized that I would need to tweeze out all the ones she should have done. For what I paid i deserved better than the service that was given. I will take my money elsewhere.

Just had a nail fixed on Thursday and went back for a pedicure and color change on my nails and toes on Friday, pedicure was amazing, repair Thursday and new color on Friday sucks, repair already broke again and color is already peeling off my nails.. Not worth what is charged, 20 for just a color change on gel.

Favorite place to get my nails done and I’ve been all over from Lakeland, Brandon, valrico, & plant city! Jason did my nails this weekend and they came out gorgeous ! I definitely recommend him if you want flawless nails and I’m super picky when it comes to my nails!

I got the ombre nails. The tech that did them, I dont think he is very experienced in doing them. I spend $45 for the full set and I hate them. I will be going to another shop, to fix what should have been right the first time. Now I have to spend more money, Im not happy about that. I do like my pedicure, but thats about it.

I have gone to the salon for quite a while. In that time it has been very hit-and-miss. The good technicians seem to leave after about a year. The remaining technicians are sometimes good and sometimes not so good. Word of warning, having an appointment makes no difference whatsoever. But if you just walk in you risk getting one of the not-so-good technicians. I have had four appointments in the past years and only two of those four were honored. Im just going to move on.

I used to enjoy coming to this salon but the last two visits, the nail tech doesn’t even ask what service I want. They are so busy and just want to get clients in and out instead of caring about which pedicure they would like. I won’t be back.

They messed up my nails they did not give me the right color. They didnt file my nails down after my full set. I had to go get them redone at strawberry organic nails. They were even like what did they do it was so hard for them to get everything off my nails.

Highly disgusted. Nail techs walking around without shoes, nail techs nails were dirty, proceeded to shape his nails and then mine with the same tool? When checking out my service was $5 more than my friend and we got the same thing.

I grew my real nails long under the acrylic, so when I came in I wanted a soak off and full set. So a lady told me to have a seat and proceeded to clip everything off acrylic and MY NAILS I asked what she was doing and told her no that isnt what I wanted and she had the nerve to get a attitude and refuse to finish and talked to the receptionist in another language . I asked whats going on and the unprofessional young girl who was the receptionist said I dont know what yall going on. Really!? Some man finished my service but he didnt listen either I wanted my nails shaped and he did what he wanted . I had to pay the same price and the situation want handled. How rude . Needless to say I will not return.

Not very friendly, wanted my ring fingers gold and the rest red and she started doing just the tips gold and the rest red, not what I asked for, and she had an inpatient client I guess had an appointment with her who kept asking are you done yet??? Talk about being rude!! Probably wont be back.. just felt very rushed..

Horrible...as a nail tech you should know what a manicure consist of..as a customer you should not have to direct/redirect the nail tech as far as cleaning cutting and shaping the nails..I opted not to finish my service just paid for what she had already done and left😡... left unsatisfied nails not done...

Because my nails didn’t come out how I wanted they where rushing let paint on my nails on the side first lied and said they didn’t have butterflies and then later she’s like oh yeah I have butterflies and they don’t even ask you what design you want they just do whatever they don’t even ask what you came in for they just paint your nails however they want to

Please read every negative review, they really arent lying, Id share my experience but everyone elses review pretty much sums up what happened to me, no apologies for major fxck ups, nails cracking in half after only having new ones on for about a week and so fourth. Go at your own discretion. Sorry.

Every time I come here, no matter who does my manicure and pedicure, I always have a great experience. Everyone here is so friendly, and very thorough in the work that they do. I get tons of compliments on my nails, and every time I am sure to tell them to come here!

Do not come to this place, they nickel and dime you for everything! I went in got a full set, they charge 5 dollars for pink powder, they charged 5 dollars just to do a coffin shape nail. To top it off, now they charge 5 dollars extra just to take gel polish off of your toes. Mind you they use a drill to take it off Like how are you charging someone to take off polish that you have to take off anyway to put on new polish? This is suppose to come with getting the service of a polish change. All the lady could say was idk. They will never get another dollar from me again. Just horrible.👎

Everyone that works here are really sweet and the lady that did my toes was really sweet and did a very good job, but she ripped the side of my toe nail off and it looks infected now.

I am from Tampa Fl and I loved the place I was going however I moved to Plant City and of course I was worried about finding somewhere Id love and who would do a great job! Well this place had great reviews and sadly they did a poor job on my toes. Not even 45 minutes of me leaving there my paint chipped and I ask them to get the ingrown toe nail and the guy said I know what I am doing. Bad customer service.

My daughter wanted matte red nails and the guy who did her nails screwed them up so bad we had to go back inside and have someone repaint them. Less than a week later the paint was lifting and the unset gel underneath was completely wet. We will not go back.

Ive gone here a several of times and from 2 out of those experience Id say were pretty good. The some of staff is really energetic and friendly which is good but some were very kept to themselves. Each time I came to get a full set or pink and white theyve left my cuticles a mess. Last time I can here was Friday December 23, literally last friday and my nails are already falling off. The man who did them rushed with applying the acrylic to some of it werent on my nails but on my skin. Their pedicures are good though. They clean up the cuticles and leave my legs and feet feeling great.

I had my nails done today and the guy did a lousy job. The under side is a mess. When applying polish he wasnt getting the full nail. When I pointed it out he told me not to tell him what to do... I want it done right. That was just one of my issues... I wont be going back.

Worst place ever & worst customer service as well. I went to this place to go get my nails done, once I sat down to start the process of my nails the guy that was doing my nails didn’t ask anything, usually in other places they ask what shape & what color. He was filing my nails all crooked & I nicely asked him serveral of times to fix them because they were clearly crooked, he ended leaving my nails on my right hand way shorter than my left hand. I was soo disappointed because he also was rushing & also their place is so unsanitary. I wasn’t even able to wash my hands to clean off all the powder before he put nail polish. When he was done putting nail polish he didn’t even say he was done & walked off, I was so confused because I thought my nails were supposed to dry under a air thing to dry nails.

Excellent Service

I came here to get dip nails and the lady who did them wasn’t very friendly and nicked every single one of my fingers. She cut my pinky so bad that it was bleeding through the whole manicure and she ended up getting blood stuck in my nail (yes, in my nail, not just on top) so now you see blood drops in my nail. I still had to pay full price and she didn’t even apologize. I will not be returning here for any services.

Not very happy with this place. I’ve gone many times and it’s always something different with them, usually everytime they make me bleed and never apologize though last time they didn’t make me bleed. I got a pedicure and it turned out great, but almost everyone I go and get a full set my nails turn out crooked and they are very obviously using expired top coats because after 3 days they turn nasty brown no matter what color I get and the last time I went really ticked me off- I went in and told them I wanted a full the women looked at my nails said it would be $15 and to go sit down, so I did told the man I wanted a fill so I took off the polish and then started taking my nails off. Mind you I had told him I wanted a fill then I asked why he was taking my nails off then he said “oh they’re too lose” mind you I only had them at two weeks and I had gotten them done there and he asked me where I got them done since they were so loose and when I told him there he kinda sniffles a laugh, I’m very upset at the service after he charged me $25 for nails that are crooked and he left the edges very very sharp and took twice as long as he told me they were, probably will never go back again.

Most painful nail experience I’ve had by far! My tech overly drilled my nails so thin it was so painful when they broke. My nails started breaking after a week of having them . I spent $124 on my nails and toes so I want them to last !!! Will never be returning.

Pedicure and manicure the first time was great the guy clean my cuticles borders everything perfectly. Second time I went with my mom, was terrible, not well done and when we asked to scrub the back of her foot $5 more dollars. At the end it looked like a first grade kit did the job, not even the french line was finished in detail in some on the nails.

The woman who did my nails was terrible she kept drilling really close to my skin and I told her hurt multiple times that it hurt and she didnt stop or apologize. She also did a very bad job on my nails the polish is all over my fingers. Then she tried to upcharge me for a shape change when I didnt ask for it.

These people have their family members do your nails even tho they dont know what they are doing.

The service is quick but they charge you for every little thing. They charged me to remove gel polish off my toes when they had to do that anyways to put the new color on my toes. They have set prices but they dont go by them. Will not be back.

After maybe 3 or 4 years of coming here. I will never go back. One of their newbie nail techs lost it after my cousin asked her to fix a couple things she didn’t like about her nails. Used foul language, swore we weren’t showing respect and complained of having wasted her time. Not once did we show disrespect. And if we are paying for overpriced nails we expect to get a good job done. After exchanging words with my cousin her and another older nail tech cornered us and raised a hand at us. The owners standing not even 2 feet away didn’t handle the situation how they should have. Asked to fix my cousins nails. But still charged her full price and my cousin walked out with nothing close to what she asked for. They aren’t open minded with fancy nail designs or ideas. But if there’s one person I liked when I went there it was always Jason. Everyone including the owners don’t do a very sharp job. Don’t waste your time here. They rush, cut you, aren’t open minded, and don’t do what you want, they do what they think is better.

I can’t say enough good things about this place and the staff. They are so wonderful to their customers and truly value them and the staff that works there. They make getting a mani/pedi even more enjoyable!

They were nice, but I paid good money for gel nails only to have them chipped off on multi nails in under a week, 2 of them being chipped off in 2 days!!!

Ive always had a good experience at this salon. My acrylics stay in tact until i go get them done again and thats awesome.. I always break them from other places.

Horrible, the women was clearly having such a bad day she even raised her hand at us and acted like she was going to punch us. After yelling at me Bc I told her Imy nails where alil to long for my taste she cussed & tried to hit, repeatedly yelled at me to sit down when I tried to walk alway from her, the disrespect was horrible. And the owners did absolutely nothing but gave her the day off. Also I work right next Door to them and I will ALWAYS let my customers know what a horrible place this is .

Paid $55 for Dip nails, toes painted and tipped $12, just for my nail to break in the first hour.. went back to get it fixed and they treated me like I was a inconvenience and did an even worse job than the first time. They didn’t even give the 3 coats they originally did... needless to say, I have had my nails for 5 days and 3 out of my ten nails are gone!! Will never go again!

Came here for a pedicure it was OK what really got to me was when she was done doing my toes she rinsed off the supplies and didnt use any cleaning products or Clorox to clean after she just did my toes just water like thats going to kill away any germs (thats how people get nail infections ) . Glad to say I wont be coming back.

Very Rude !!! One of the workers made my friend Cry by giving her a bad time & telling her she didn’t deserve his work & the boss didn’t do anything about it . And they still charged full price even after they were very very rude . A customer next to my friend even told the boss how rude the worker was being to my friend but they didn’t even apologize and the guy continued to work .
