Looking for a dentist office that is not operated like a factory, then THIS IS IT. John Carter has developed a business with a family vibe. It all starts with the winning smile, greeting and generosity of JESSEMERY but it does not stop there. It flows throughout the entire office to all the staff which includes TONYA the DIAMOND DIVA and my favorite hygienist JACKIE( i know that is not how you spell it) who is always relaxing me by making me laugh as she picks up her cleaning tools of torment. This is a great office, they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable while at the same time meeting your dental needs.

Very professional and polite staff.Super nice office.Dentist Dr Carter was very nice, and informative,.He did not cause me any pain at all during my exam. Very thankful for that.Everything was explained to me very well, which is really important to me.Even took close up pictures of my teeth so I could see as well. Which I never had done before.

This is a great place to take care of your teeth. Jaque is very personable and professional in examining cleaning and providing a quick solution to my sore tooth. I went in for a cleaning and expressed to her that I was having pain on the left side of my mouth when chewing. She thought that I might have a cracked tooth and after the cleaning took me to another technician, Sam to get an x-ray. After Dr. Carter reviewed that I did in fact have several cracks in my tooth, they were able to repair it that same day. I always feel that I am in good hands when Im there and everyone is very positive, kind, friendly, and focused on patient care.

I just switched over to dental associates as my primary dentist. After two visits I have nothing but good things to say about them-everything from the ease of scheduling, friendliness of the staff, knowledge and professionalism of the hygienist and dental assistant (Lauren), to the excellent care I received so far. The office is clean and I have not had to wait long before being seen by Dr Carter. Great job!

I went in for a dental exam and Jess made the process so easy! She handled all my insurance information and explained everything to me clearly. When I went in for the exam, Lauren was so professional and when I did have a problem, she quickly made an adjustment to make me more comfortable. My husband Wayne is currently under the care of Dr. Carter and his staff.I have previously been under their care as well 😀From the moment you walk into the office, they are so friendly and make you feel so at ease!!I was very scared of going to a dentist haven’t been to one in probably over 10 years !!They really really help me understand what was going on… what my choices were… and what the pain level might be.Now that my husband is under their care, he has had one wisdom tooth pulled.He had no complications, and very little pain..He is now going to have his second wisdom tooth pulled,… and even though he’s not looking forward to it he knows he’s going to be under wonderful care !!Lauren was the one that did his x-rays and made him feel very very comfortable and at ease!I would recommend this dental office and their staff to anybody who’s scared or brave😀😀 wonderful people thank youThe Askew’s

The whole staff is wonderful BUT I go there because of Jacque! If she is ur hygienist then u know what I mean. She is gentle soft spoken caring and fabulous at what she does. She makes me feel so important and her encouragement to get and stay healthy keeps me motivated. She is a wonderful asset to Dr. Carters team!!!!!

I searched for a local dentist after my former dentist retired. Then we experienced the Covid shutdown. Im happy to say Dr Carters office was worth the wait. He is professional and patient. His assistant Lauren and Jacque the hygienist were wonderful. Im so glad I discovered this practice.

I have been going to this office for a several years and as I get older my dental needs have increased. Dr. Carter and staff have tried their hardest to help me keep my smile. I had Lauren as my dental assistant today. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable as she presented my next treatment plan. They are very good at scheduling and getting your treatment plan moving forward.

Who would think a dental appointment would be enjoyable? I must say I enjoyed mine! Antonette was very friendly and attentive as she checked me in. Lauren got me right in and began the X-ray process. She was so precise and professional! She then introduced me to each member of the very capable team that was helping me. Lyndsey was excellent and efficient, and then Dr. Carter examined my teeth and explained what I needed to know. I felt so comfortable; this place understands how to be both professional and personable. Lauren finished up the appointment with some explanations and scheduling—she is certainly a sweet young lady. She represents this office well. Lastly, Jess led me through the check out process with such friendliness and attentiveness. I’m glad I’ve found such a great dental office!

I have not had insurance in a really long time, so I put off going to the dentist. My first appointment I was so nervous, but the team at Dr. Carters office were so nice, friendly, and helpful. The ladies at the front desk who handle the paper work and insurance (Megan & Jess) made the process so easy. Since this was my first visit in several years, I had to have a full exam and x-rays. Sam was so kind and funny, helping to relieve my nerves. He also noticed that one of the x-ray positions was making me uncomfortable (gag), so he took a moment to let me relax before trying again. I was very surprised with the process and it was quick easy, they offered me with a comprehensive treatment plan and the following day I scheduled my full-mouth debridement. I was really scared for this procedure as my sister told me it was very painful. Jacque completed my debridement and she walked me through the steps and was so gentle. She was thoughtful and frequent in making sure I was ok and not in any discomfort and answered all of my questions. I felt barely any pain during the cleaning and even after I left I did not have any pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Carters office to anyone looking for a dentist or dental treatments.

Lindsey is the best person I have ever had clean my teeth. She is the only one who has not sprayed me and does not drown me with the H2O. The intelligent conversation is a true blessing in these days of questionable customer service. She is the only one that I trust to clean my teeth. If she is not there for any reason, just call to reschedule my cleaning. I do not want anyone else near my teeth. She is the best.

I visited Dental Associates of Plant City on Christmas Eve to have Dr. Carter look at my mothers dental implants. Other dentists had been trying to over charge her and suggested dental work that wasn’t needed. Dr. Carter, his assistant Sam, and hygienist Jacquè were extremely helpful and explained everything to me and my mom. I would highly recommend Dr. Carter and his staff for all of your dental needs.

Came in because I had a cracked tooth and they were able to get me in that same day! Lauren was absolutely amazing and kept asking me if I was okay (I get a little nervous at the dentist). She was so sweet and helpful and very knowledgeable with the dental lingo the doctor was telling her. Explained the dental plan with me and helped me decide which one I should do first. Dr. Carter was so gentle with me and although having a tooth extracted isnt the best feeling in the world, he made sure that I was comfortable every step of the way. Very glad I have this excellent dentist office close to home.

Unfortunately I had to have a tooth removed, so I made an appointment with Dental Associates of Florida (PC Location). I arrived today and was seen fairly quickly. The staff were super nice and even overly accommodating to my continued trips outside for business calls/texts. I’d have to say this was the best dentist visit I have ever had. The tech, Miss Tonya, was so nice and comforting throughout the entire extraction process. Which I greatly appreciated, as I’m a big baby when it comes to the dentist 🤦🏻‍♂️ All in all I will definitely be back to get my dental work done!!! I had to find a new dentist due to an insurance change. This was very hard as I had the same dentist for years. Lauren, Dr. Carter, and Jacque were all very thorough and kind. They explained the new patient process, took x-rays, and spent quality time to discuss the health of my teeth. No five star as I had to wait over a 1/2 past my appointment time. I scheduled a cleaning first thing in am to avoid the wait next time.

Always have a great experience at Dental Associates Plant City and Jess Estrella and Jacque make each visit that much better with great service and hospitality.

Just had a very satisfactory experience at this office. From the time I walked in 2 days ago to get an appointment (the counter people were very good!) to my time there today to see what all had to be done with my tooth.Lauren (xrays) was fantastic - very knowledgeable and professional. And Dr. Carter was easy-going and thorough. I was in the customer service business for over 50 years before I retired and this is as good as any Ive seen anywhere. Good group of employees! Good selection! Good training!

Dental associates of Florida in plant city are very knowledgeable in dentistry. Asha was extremely helpful on my visit in early January. Dr. Carter is extremely patient and helpful when discussing treatment plans. Love this Dentist and his entire staff. I returned later in the month and Tonya was helpful in an unexpected visit to have an extraction. Dr. Carter made the experience very pleasant and I definitely made a good choice in choosing a new dental provider.

Our experience here was amazing. My mother has dementia and Jackie is so great with her. Tonya went over and above helping my sister Cindy with her implants. We were so blessed by them. Thank you so much. They were a God send.

Dr. Carter is the best dentist I have ever used. When I was young I had many dental procedures, so I have always dreaded going to the dentist. I no longer feel that way because of the care I have received at Dental Associates of Plant City. Jackie is so thorough cleaning my teeth and is very friendly and quick. Dr Carter is professional, friendly, and so knowledgeable and competent. His practice has all the latest technology that gives me great confidence in his treatment plan for me. If that isn’t enough, his office staff is super friendly and helpful in all that they do. I can’t say enough great things about this practice.

I went back in this week and she remembered my face and asked how I was doing! This week I had Tonya and again she was very personable! Although the dentist does do a thorough job checking out teeth, the practice is very deceptive, or the support staff lacks integrity. I had my initial x-rays done and was told you have fractured teeth due to your childhood fillings changing over the years, and you need to have crowns because the fillings cannot be replaced... All of this, as if it was necessary. Plus, they implied my insurance would pay the proper portion. Well, they waited till after the dentist sawed down my original teeth, and I only had temp caps while they allegedly filed my insurance. Almost 3 weeks went by, and I had to call and ask if my caps came in, because no one called me about them. The day I go to get my permanent caps in, I was told my insurance denied it as I am checking in. So not only had I already paid over $800 just to have the caps ordered, now they hit me with the remaining portion of a whopping $900. I paid $100 more, because the office manager said why did they deny it, the doctor said it was necessary..., and they will dispute it. So, with temp teeth, I had no choice but to get the caps. Then they said they would dispute my claim with the insurance as I was leaving. Weeks go by, and I hear nothing, but I get denial letter from my insurance. Nothing more from the dentist office. Then two weeks ago, I get a bill. Not even a week later, they have the nerve to send me an additional notice of immediate payment or sending to collections letter. I am appalled at this practice. The very fact the dental tech told me it was necessary makes me very upset. I would have NEVER agreed to having $1700 of dental work if it was only cosmetic. The practice has said in their recent letter that they repeatedly called me to discuss the bill. I never got one message, nor phone call about anything. The only notice received was the one bill and then the collection demand. So the lies keep coming. I never had a teeth cleaning that I originally went for routine work. The side of my mouth that the teeth were capped is now sensitive, and I cannot chew on that side anymore. All in all, I do not recommend this office. The support staff does not do their job. I will pay this bill but will never go to this dentist, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. Run and do yourself a favor. There are more decently ran offices that I would rather spend my time and trust.
