I don’t know anything about cars, but when me and my homie went in to buy a item I didn’t know the name of Benjamin at the front desk was very knowledgeable about the item I needed from me explaining what it looked like and I could tell he genuinely wanted to assist me and that service is rare. I highly recommend if anyone needs a service done that it be done at Firestone.
Be careful with the guys in this shop pushing for add-ons via a phone call. I was spending over $1600 on new tires and alignment on my F150. The only reason I did not rate 1 star is because that part of the experience went very well. If I would not have received the call for a new battery, I would have rated 5 stars. I dont have an issue receiving a call when something is found, but do have an issue when I have to figure out if the shop is competent enough to really diagnose the stated problem. The call I received was that my battery tested bad (400 cranking amps and a bad cell), and needed to be replaced. The bill was going to be around $180. Well since I do much of my own work, I declined and figured I would just go purchase my own. However, when I went to remove the battery I noticed a lot of build up on the terminals, and that the technician did not even bother to remove the terminals when load testing the battery. I removed and cleaned the terminals and SURPRISE the battery tested good and was producing 675 amps. Sure would have been nice if the shop managed the techs better and they would have just cleaned the terminals as part of the standard shop procedure. I called to follow up, but they didnt seem too concerned....
Always ask for Ray to help you. He’s very knowledgeable in this business . He not only works in the front but he also has the credentials to work in the shop. You will not go wrong coming here . He’s so honest and doesn’t waste your time .
DO NOT GO HERE all they’ll do is gouge you for money. i went to get my coolent pipes fixed the day after i get it it breaks down and i get 3x the problems and they try to charge me more to fix it.
Great service as always... Will is very helpful... gosh darn it though, oil changes are getting expensive...
The sales guy tried to sale me a tire for almost 200 dollars because it was late afternoon on Saturday and most of other stories were closed. I found same tire for less than half price online they matched the price but still added some extra fees. I will never go there again !
We have been customers of Firestone for over 30 years . Our favorite location is the Coit & Legacy location. Management is very helpful and always willing to give you the best offers available. Robert and Will are friendly and helpful.
I have always received excellent customer service from this location and they are honest too. I normally do repairs on my own vehicles (yes, computer controlled vehicles) so I know what repairs do and do not need to be done on my vehicles. However, when I dont feel like doing the service or need new tires, I only take my vehicles to this Firestone Complete Auto Care location.
You get what you pay for here. The staff get haggled constantly but they still seem happy. If you get tired here Get the warranty!
Front desk clerk Will Beason (old guy with white hair) is so rude with all customers that Im not sure why he is still in the job. He mistreated two customers including me while I was there, he also didnt fix my trouble (the invoice went form 20 usd for a flat tire to 1000 usd ).I will take my car to another place with better customer service and more competent staff . But the way this representative talks to customers is disrespectful, he just want to lecture you and dont let you speak, sound like you were speaking to a thug and not a tire sales representative. Not coming back again to this place.
Ive been a Firestone cardholder and customer for close to 20 years. The store at this location is BY FAR the best of ANY of the other stores Ive patronized! I will be doing all my business with them at this location until further notice.
Called in about a complete inspection. Clerk has absolutely ZERO people skills. Asked me what I wanted with the complete inspection. Then goes on to tell me they close at 5. Continues to lecture me and says “goodbye”. Why is this guy even working there if he hates his job so much? No way in h*** am I gonna trust my car with someone so disrespectful to customers.
Great customer service
Firestone is a scam, and they charge an extortionate amount for repairs. They want to charge $300 to replace a headlight on my car, and that it would be 2 hours for “labor”. I’ve gone here for years, but they’ve lost my business. I’ve wasted countless hours, and a lot of money due to their incompetence. If you come here you will be waiting hours for simple repairs, inspections, and oil changes. Absolutely ridiculous.
Great experience again at Firestone now that Will is back running things. Can count on an honest assessment with prompt and friendly service.
Thank you Bob for your service. People like you are the biggest reasons that customers like to come to this store to fix cars.(The old guy, I believe his name is Will, shouldn’t be working here. Clearly he does NOT like what he’s doing)
Very knowledgeable and customer first. They have been my togo place to service my cars for years.
They took care of my Porsches tires without trying to price gouge like Discount Tire tried to. Fast, friendly, and priced Right. Thanks guys!!
I just realized I never left a review after this location saved the day several weeks back. I was trying to find a shop willing to attempt removing a broken off spark plug in my Honda Odyssey to no avail until I called these guys. The master technician had it removed in minutes! Hes a pro with a lot of skill & experience. On top of that the guys at the front desk were a breath of fresh air. Thanks for saving the day fellas!
I called for a quote on a full brake installation and the clerk who picked up didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. He quickly put me on a permanent hold before I finished with my inquiry. Terrible experience.
Every time I come to this place. The person on the phone quotes 1 time for example 30 minutes for a tire rotation only and you get in the store and the guy says 3 hours. For being a big chain, you’d think they would strive to pump out service faster. They can afford to hire more help if that’s the problem. Oil changes take 4 hours. Alignments take 3-7 hours. What’s the problem? Other shops pump out oil changes in less then 15-30 minutes.
Not familiar with the place but excellent service
Excellent service. Very clean.
Drove up to this Firestone just to see if they could fix my passenger side window. It wasn’t rolling up and it was going to rain very soon. An older man who seemed to be the owner or manager told me that I showed up too late to get it fixed. It was 2 pm and they close at 7 pm. Come on. I told him I’d be willing to wait and pay whatever amount of money to get it done. He said, “I don’t know what to tell you.” In other words he told to go screw myself. Apparently they don’t want good paying customers. So, I went to the City Garage down the road and they fixed my window within the hour. Recommend City Garage over this place any day as long as Firestone continues that kind of poor customer service.
Both men behind counter great had tires balanced took a very long time truck has more shaking from a very poor balancing than before they worked on it 👎
The people who work here care about the end user and want to make sure that we are being safe in the road. The company as a whole is concerned with selling auto repairs. Keep that in mind. I do my own work for the most part, and when I brought my 15 year old car in the techs were quick to point out what was wearing down and would need replacing soon, but didn’t try to oversell it. My wife, on the other hand, brought our 2 year old car in and its battery was “marginal” and had “worn out rear tires.” The 2 year old car has less than 20,000 miles on it with Goodyear tires, there’s no way they are worn down with conservative driving on Plano roads, especially on a front wheel drive with regular rotations. It’s not the guy at the counter telling my wife we need new tires, it’s the company. Just do your research and regular preventative maintenance at home so when you bring it in you can feel through what is a genuine heads-up and what is Firestone needing to make a sale. Overall, they are a fairly honest bunch and they do good work.
They have failed my car inspection and asked me to replace 4 tires and wiper for at least $400 to $500+. I went to other body shop for inspection again. Everything is acceptable for passing the regulation. I don’t know why this FS store requested so!!! Very disappointed!!!!!!
They did a state inspection and missed the wipers blades. They are falling apart. Wiper blades a required part of a legal state inspection. I drove back after getting caught in the rain, and they didnt have the parts in stock. They wanted me to come back again and pay $50 for wiper blades, after they ordered them!!! Ridiculous!!! BAD SERVICE!! Look how bad the blades are in the picture.
Great deals and prices.
My dad is always taking his cars there to be worked on so I guess its a pretty good place.
My wife & I have been using Firestone for over a decade. They did a great job on my truck oil change, air filter and tires.
We found this place by accident... we were having breakfast across the road and saw all kinds of cars being serviced, so we decided to give them a change. We have never regretted it! We have always had excellent service and we think they are very honest in taking care of our cars.
They are very accommodating, kind, proomtand fair prices
Took my 2018 mustang here for an alignment. When I picked it up I noticed on the spec printout that the rear camber had not been adjusted. Technician tried to tell me there was no adjustment due to the bolt for it when there definitely is no issue with the bolt, he was clearly looking at the wrong one. Took it home and lifted it up and got under it to verify that I was correct. Took it back to show them where the adjustment was and they refused to fix it and make it right. Now I will have to take it somewhere else to get it done correctly and pay for it again.
Jimmy and the guys did a great job of taking care of my tire needs this wrekend.
Mitch has taken my vehicle in late in the day on several occasions as this is the only free time I have with our service trucks. Always friendly and courteous!
Went to this shop twice. First time got new tires and lifetime alignment. They didnt align my car correct was still pulling when it left. Took it to Custer Plano location they set it correct. Second time was last week. I got a oil change and tire rotation and alignment again. They didnt put a new oil change sticker or even reset my oil change light. All they wanted to do was sell something else on the car that they probably wouldnt do correct. Go to the Custer and 15th location way better service and staff.
I asked to do synthetic blend and double checked with them before the service, but then found they used and charged me for full synthetic.Called me on the phone saying their life time alignment was on sale so I agreed to purchase it but later found what I paid for was just the regular one time alignment. Nothing was on sale…They said my tires wouldn’t pass state inspection and sold me 4 new 22” tires for more than $1000, but 2 of them worn out in just a year. The other two were not in good condition either. They said it’s because I had bad alignment and told me another lady who had the same car had her tires worn out fast too. I found it hardly convincing. I think it’s just their tires’ quality were bad.Said they couldn’t align my wheels because something was broken on the back and asked to fix it for several hundred dollars. I took it to a dealer and they did not found any problems and aligned my wheels just fine.Charged $20 labor for a $29 AC filter. It’s just a 5 minutes work. You open the door and insert the filter. It’s certainly overcharged. They said my wipers were torn so replaced them. But what they used were some incompatible wipers that made noise every time. My factory ones worked just fine.
Mitch is the manager at this place. He is great. They fit me in at the end of their day, and went above and beyond to get my vehicle taken care of. Would definitely recommend this place!
I was there for an oil change. Saw a tech changing his clothes in full view of customers. This is very unprofessional and I will be taking my vehicles somewhere else.
Mitch the store manager did a good job to resolve my problem and it fixed. He apologized about the previous 2 attempts and saw my problem as his problem. He communicated well and was very professional about the issue.Due to his customer service and professionalism, I forgot about the 2 previous attempts to resolve the problem. Im happy to recommend Mitch and his team as listened and took a real interest in solving my issue with the cars wheel alignment.
Awesome, helpful staff! Well taken care of at this specific firestone location. Great first experience and will return for further servicing for my vehicle.
Right on time. Waiting area is a bit small. Service wise they are par I believe honest.
I highly recommend this Firestone location. They always help me out with any of my truck needs. This store has great techs that have been there for years.
Great job getting me a new battery. NO APPOINTMENT needed. What a relief!!!!
Money minting in businessRecommended me a batter change, when my battery is 100% fine confirmed by Honda dealership 170 USDRecommended me Coolant change 110 USD - when there was no need to, only little was added by Honda dealershipbeware of these folks
Great service, had my oil changed in 25 min. When I went to check out staff applied a coupon since I had forgotten mine. Exceptional service all the way around.
Half a××ed. Went in to change my power steering hose. Didnt fill up the power steering fluid risking my pump to go out. Careful you might get a oil change with no oil.
They give false advice. I was told during the state inspection that I needed an alignment and when the alignment was done, it came out that it was not needed.
My car battery was dead and I went to Firestone to get that replaced. Firestone technician asked to check the battery and alternator to find the root cause of the exact issue. He then charged me additional $25 for checking the alternator as well along with charges to replace my old battery. And I knew that Firestone promotes free battery check. So in an ideal situation the technician should have checked the battery first, would have found it dead and replaced it without even needing to check alternator or anything else. But he charged me for checking alternator as well. I came back from the store after paying the full amount. To my surprise the store manager Greg called me back a few days later on my cell to say that he wanted to refund my $25. I think it was very courteous of Firestone to show that they are customer friendly and would follow ethical business practices. I would recommend the store to everyone.
I am really surprised that the rating is 2.8. Nobody likes to spend $ on getting your car worked on but we have started using for about a year now and their mechanics are actually good. Take a look at the inside of the work shop and compare with any other Firestone/Goodyear in Plano and you can see a huge difference. They are always busy, their mechanics look professional not scary. They fixed a problem that the dealership didnt do right. He showed us what was wrong and then fixed it properly. I would recommend this Firestone. I am giving only 4 stars but would give 4 and a half
Over price too long for waiting time not professional
I went here with a good looking used car to have a quick check up before buying it, they checked everything and after that I was blowed what they did to my car, there are no signs of oil leak to the car before I go there but the technician came up to me and said there is a bad oil leak to the car and showed to me the problem is with the oil drain plug(oil pan) is not screwed fit. For that simple reason the front desk manager(old) man suggested and gave me a checklist to replace the whole oil pan gasket by removing and replacing whole engine again which would cost $400.00 instead of just throwing new oil drain plug which costs $4.00. And when the tires are rotated the technician broken one of the screws(bolts) when tightening back the tire I wondered how could this broken so easily and the explanation i received from technician was it just simply happened by applying more impact and even he didnt fixed that. Totally a bad experience, trying to make some bad money here without satisfaction. Do not recommend.
Wanted $1500 for a $300, 30 minute job. They are either full of it or ignorant af. Witnessed them trying a bait-n-switch on a trailer tire for another man, when I was there. He also walked.Firestones are privately owned and can be hit or miss. This one is a complete miss.
The service manager shoots it straight. I appreciate that. I usually only go for alignment and battery service as I have a lifetime plan on both. Courteous and service is fast if you go early.
Great service all the time.. I always take my car here and they are always very helpful!! Thank you so much Greg !!
Awesome place. very professional and knowledgable mechanics. service guys are very nice. would highly recommend to everyone!
Took my car in for an oil change on a busy Sunday they got me in and out within 45 Min!!! Fast and efficient service. Come and talk Greg the store manager and Gerry their lead Tech. Supper friendly and I guarantee they are going to take care of all your needs.
Im sorry that I didnt like this place Royal change the route to expensive the place I went to was around Dallas and they tried to get me for wheel lugs then I didnt need and they kept forcing it and they wanted like $180 just to change the lugs that is on my tires and its just to make the Wii look better I couldnt see that I tell them put my tires back on and Im good they tried to trick me cuz its on me being an elderly lady to try to get more money out of me. If I can remember the address I would have posted it and tell people not to go there cuz those people are not honest Im not saying all firestones are that way that particular one was and there was another one similar and thats in St Petersburg Florida are Firestone people was pretty naughty as well just when they see a single female they think they could take advantage of her but what happened with them was I was a little smarter than they were I dont know a lot with vehicles I used to be a used car lot dealership my dad and I dealt a lot like fixing Motors and tires and replacing tires so I told him that same thing I told him in Dallas my lug nuts are fine its a brand new vehicle they dont not need to be replaced and their oil changes were too expensive sometimes you got to be a little nosey and ask more then just let them take the keys to your car and let them do what they want and then slap you with a large bill that you are not expect to pay cash that much
I was able to get two tires replaced in less than 1 hr when I was told the wait might be 2 hrs. Excellent customer experience.
The person in the front (old) kept asking me do I need a firestone credit card for 5 times within 2 minutes. I have no problem with that hes trying to sign me up for that, but when I said no means no, asked for second time I was getting upset, then he kept going which really kinda pissed me off. Go to Drivers Edge across the street theyre a lot nicer! The only reason I went to Firestone this time was because the DE did not have oil change coupon at the moment.
Did a alignment for my wifes truck after she hit a curb, nice crew and service, had to come back and readjust the steering wheel position but they got it set fast and no question.
Solid, consistent service. Ask for Santos, he will do it right the first time!
I have taking my car up there many many times theyre the only one I trust with it they are very professional and their services are very quick
These guys are cheating. I went for State Inspection. Inspection got failed because the tire thread size 2 mm. They tried to sell their tires for $950. Since I had warrenty on tires, I went to Sams club and they checked all 4 tires and they found that all tires are at thread level 4. So they told me that who ever inspected did a big mistake. So, I went to another inspection center same day. They passed my car inspection and asked me file a complaint with DPS. They told me that the tires are at 4 mm and they should not fail it unless it is at 2mm.I went back to Firestone and asked for Money back. They told me that I should have come back to them if someone says 4 mm to them and told me that they will not return my money. More than that, how do we trust these kind of cheaters? So, I am in process of filing a complaint with Department of Public Safty. I would never recommend these guys. As a good citizen, we should take action on these kind of cheating.
Just yesterday, this store quoted me $49 for replacing a headlight bulb when I got my car serviced there. It ended up with $24 including labor and part in a nearby shop. Also, they refused to rotate my tires that I bought from them 1 year ago. What a service!
Great deal on lifetime wheel alignments.
This is a great place for vehiclemaintenance and repairs. They are honest, reasonably priced, and provide prompt service.
Competency of Gerry and courtesy of Mitch will keep me coming back!!
Very friendly people and things are taken care very quickly even with just air pressure check for your vehicle.
They were absolutely awesome with my daughters battery change out!! Gregg is awesome!!
Always great service.mitch always very professional.
Great store and great service
The worst auto care i have ever been to. The Manager is a bigtime fraud. He seems to talk nicely but does nothing good for your car. He even refused to do the complimentary checks during the oil change since i asked for it before hand.More than rude, this guys cheat you like anything. Please do yourself a favor and dont go there. They are slow too. The Manager made me wait for something like 45 minutes after the oil change was over! BEWARE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
Firestone Service Center Website SubmissionUnprofessional Conduct of Greg Alvizo (Store Manager) and Wrongful collection of Service Charges.A detailed report of your above Store Manager is being prepared for due investigation and call for refund of money wrongfully collected from me on 08/08/2015. He called Plano Police for intervention on a simple request of providing me with Computerized Engine analysis report. Greg later fraudulently prepare a report and gave to Plano Police on request. Just imagine his kind of person. His action did not reflect a professional person of Firestone and indeed messed up and drag the companys name to the mud. I am having a full report to be mailed to the Corporate office for due redress. Christopher Akinremi
I went in with a tire that had a nail stuck in it and was going flat fast. They told me that the tire was beyond repair and that I needed to replace it, but replacing only one wouldnt be good on an all-wheel-drive car like mine so I should replace all four. I left and drove down Coit, I stopped by Samstone Auto Repair on the NW corner of Coit and Park and had the tire repaired in 10 minutes for $ 10. The employee at this Firestone tried to scam me, basically.
Be sure and talk to Will! Straight shooter and customer service oriented
Fernado was great got me in and out fast. Zantox was very nice too
Reliable service at value price
I went here this morning to get a state inspection done and to get a new air filter. The guy at the front constantly tried to talk me out of it since it would take 2 hours. I told him I didnt mind waiting and today was the only day I could get this done, he still tried to talk me out of it, obviously not wanting to help me. It wasnt until the manager came from the garage and said if I didnt mind waiting he could get me taken care of. So the man at the front desk finally decided to help me. I ended up leaving and going to a different location since I didnt feel welcome. The man at the front just made this a bad experience. I cant speak for the other employees.
I called Firestone for a quote on break pad replacement, they said it was a free inspection, of course they came back with a very high quote. I asked them to pull it down, he then asked me to pay for the inspection. I then said, you told me it was free. He replied by saying, ok but no one wants to work for free. He rambled on with more rude remarks. He didnt charge me, but why disrespect me because you said the inspection was free. I wont come back. His name was Ryan, what a smart mouth. Ryan Im not trying to get over on you, but I just dont have 2500 to put into my car today. If you tell a customer the inspection is free, just politely honor it. My family uses firestone, and just know bad news travels fast. Why get sarcastic and rude with customers, not necessary. Also Im getting my car done now and I went from a 2500 dollar that firestone gave me to less than 200.dollars. I will never go to firestone, mostly because of the smart remarks made.
Terrible. Went for alignment problems and that wasnt even worked on. And today my car can not even start. This is 3 days after going to this firestone
This location is horrible. I have been going to fire stone for years but never this location. These men are rude, push decisions down your throat and do not give you any say or options for your own vehicle. The employees were talking about whiskey, beer and were cursing while my child was sitting feet from them. To make matters worse, they were even vacuuming with us in the lobby do there were flakes flying around everywhere! A woman infront of me had to put her sun glasses on in the lobby! This was ridiculous. This location is horrible.
This is absolutely the worst Firestone I have ever been too. They screwed up the tie rods on my Cadillac CTS when they were doing my lifetime alignment, and tried to charge me $600. I went to City Garage to get a estimate, and the store manager there told me that I should not have to pay this amount because they left a nut loose which caused this problem. When I went back to the store manager at this location he stated that he has been a store manager for 30 years, and that this is a common problem with Cadillacs. He also refused to look at my car again, and just gave me the estimate he had made up on a sheet of paper. I called corporate and they sent me to the 15th and Custer Firestone, and they figured out that it was the Coit Legacy Firestones fault. Please, do not go to this location this store manager is a dick, and he will try to screw you over any way possible.
THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SUED. KEEPING THAT STAFF THERE IS THE WORST THING FOR THAT COMPANY TO DO. Not all firestones are terrible but after one experience here you would be encouraged to join a trade school for auto mechanics out of perpetual fear. Worst worst worst place EVER. DONT GO HERE. NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE.
Good service, friendly staff!
Fast; professional service.
Best place to get you car needs done .they always get you car done on time they even let you pay in payment with their credit car. ;)
Guys are great I had a flat on the way to work. They took me to work and picked me up after work all over a flat repair great service ;)
Good service with a smile
They don’t do alignment jobs well at this location stay away and a few of the counter guys are very rude and short!!!!
Great work and quick timing
Quick service and nice staff.
Good customer service.
Firestone cheat me 2nd time particular for battery please make sure price and terms and condition with other storeThank you [no aging please]
Great service and speed
I have three cars service here for five years, the store damaged my tire pressure sensor while replacing tire, l have to spend $300 to fix it.
Nice and Friendly Staff
Lovely service and cool staff
