I bit on the other side of town but I was thrilled since I was going out of town the next day.The office location I was sent to was under construction. We just talked to the guy and he said nothing. After contacting him back again, I was informed of the new location - A little further, but it was OK he was there until 4:00 (confirmed again).I arrived at the new location right at 3:00. The lights were off and the door was locked. I called him and he said he had to run out and deliver a couple of customers glasses but he will be back in an hour and a half. Great! But after several confirmations that he would be able to take care of me at 4:30 I said OK.Back at 4:30 - lights off door locked. I tried calling him for 30 minutes and he would not answer. Finally at 5:00 I got a hold of him. Sorry I got held up and we are going to have to reschedule for tomorrow. At this point Ive waisted half the afternoon, am stuck in rush hour traffic, and still have broken glasses. I started to tell him that I am traveling out of town the next day and he abruptly hung up on me.Only thing I did wrong was trusting his word and not reading reviews before I attempted to do business with him. You just cant treat other human beings this way. We all get busy and stuff happens - just treat people with respect, thats all we expect AND deserve.

Replaces a small screw to keep Len in. Took all of 3 minutes. Charged me 30.00 dollars! My fault for not asking him what he would charge. Over charged for a minor fix that most places do t even charge. Live and learn!

This is a horrible experience a new gentleman is working there said he did not even know the other gentleman Zachary. But no clue who he is. Next,after he fixed my glasses he said I must be as low life wet back illegal Mexican that cross the borders without papers. Oh my God!!!!! I I cannot believe you said that to me. I will not return to this place and I suggest nobody else returns either the gentleman is so rude and mean. So hateful and disrespectful towards white people. My experience was horrible.

Excellent quality glasses repair of broken arm hinge for my frame-less glasses. I thought I would need to get whole new glasses at max $$$ but EZ Eye Glass Repair replaced the broken hinge piece (exactly matching the existing hinge), reattached the arm, and straightened my distorted frame, all in about 15 minutes, at 1/10 of new glasses cost.. or less. I am VERY PLEASED! Highly recommend.

I have had glasses repaired here before for a charge but never for replacing a screw. On one occasion the service representative replaced a screw and put a bolt at the bottom of the screw because the screw kept coming out. He always said, if that doesn’t work come back. There was no charge for this service. The service representative was always nice and professional and as a result my intentions were to buy my glasses here in the future. Yesterday I stopped by because the screw on the other side of my glasses was experiencing the same problem requiring a bolt at the end of the screw. The owner and not the person that has always waited on me was present. The owner had previously waited on me before and had a bad attitude and I thought he was just having a bad day. This visit he said there was a charge for the bolt and I calmly informed him that I was not charged in the past for a screw or a bolt by the representative. (not that I couldn’t pay the charge or was unwilling to pay the charge required for this visit). He stood up quickly and said he did not care; he was the owner and told me where I could take my glasses and to get them fixed. I was shocked and speechless.Never going back!

I broke my prescription sunglasses.. the arm to be exact.. this morning. Went in dropped them off got new ones put on. Very affordable and super nice. I would definitely recommend they saved me some money until I can buy new prescription sunglasses.

I was referred to this business after breaking my glasses the other day. I brought it in and they offered to fix my Raybans with generic (20 minute fix) or genuine parts. I wanted to do the the genuine parts and they gave me a great estimate and how long it would take. The estimated time for the repair was around 2 weeks but they actually ended up finishing in 5 days! Easy going staff, professional service, and free estimates. Id definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I am appalled by the negative reviews. I have been coming here for years. All of my experiences has been positive and the service has been superb. My daughter broke the hinge of her glasses today. I took her glasses in, he stated he would have repair in half hour. 15 minutes later he called and stated ready for pick up. When I arrived, he gave her a new frame for the same price as the repair. He stated if we have any problems to bring back, guarantee. He has always been very nice and professional towards me. The negative reviews here must be from the wrong eye repair store. I would rate 20 stars if possible and I will continue my business here.

The ownership of this business must have changed. This use to be a great eyeglasses repair shop, but it is now dangerous! Everyone should avoid this store at all costs. My wife went here to have a broken nose piece on her glasses repaired. The repair job was unacceptable. The nose pads that were used to replace the original nose pads were cheap and the edges of the new nose pads cut into her nose. On the night of the repair, the right lens fell out of the glasses frame (same side that the nose piece had been repaired). So, the following day, she went back to the store to have her glasses repaired again. When she complained about the workmanship of the original repair, the employee became irate. This employee (not the same man that originally repaired her glasses), identified himself as the owner and said that he lived in the store and that it was his home. His behavior changed in an instant, becoming angry, threatening, and explosive. He yelled at her and cussed her out for complaining about the repair. He screamed F*** Y** over and over until she left the store. Had another customer not been in the store to witness this mans behavior, I dont know what might have happened to my wife. This place is horrible, and the above man, if he is the owner, is unstable and a threat to the public safety.

This is now the only place I will go for glasses. Zack is extremely professional and this is the kind of small business we should all be supporting. I broke my glasses, thought it would be an easy fix and discovered it would be 7 to 10 days to get them replaced. Hell, I can barely see and my lenses cost me an arm and a leg. How could I go 7 to 10 days. At the glasses place they recommended I see if I could get them repaired and gave me EZ Eye glass repairs card. I called, drove over and he immediately tried to fix my glasses for what I consider a more than fair price. He educated me on that if the repair could not be done He could put my expensive lenses in another frame and go that route. To tell the truth my glasses were old, so why not. He waived the repair fee and sold me a great pair of frames with my expensive lenses installed. He even adjusted and warranties them. I could not be happier. Good Prices, fast and excellent service, great selection. Zack will get nothing but recommendations from me. How any reviewer could say this is not a 5 star business I cannot understand, it could only be that the reviewer was having a bad day or pulling shenanigans.GO HERE FIRST.

This place is a scam. I take my glasses in to fix one of the hinges on a Friday at 1PM. ZAK says Ill have them done in 30 minutes and I will call/text you. I returned 3 hours later after no call/text and he says I didnt have a chance to get to them. I returned Saturday at 1PM and his brother said Zak stepped out but glasses are ready. I tried them on and they were even worse than before. Zak didnt even look at my glasses. His brother is just as creepy and awkward as Zak. He says Ill alert Zak right now and they will be ready in 30 minutes and well text/call you. I called back in 1 hour and they had already closed at 2PM. I left a few voicemails and Zak calls me back 3 hours later to say I am driving to the office now to fix your glasses. Meet me at 630. I get to his store at 628PM wait until 645 and he never shows up. He calls me at 830 PM to tell me he was at the store at 630 and I wasnt there. Im super pissed now. I just want my glasses fixed. He said he would break my glasses if I dont stop calling them. He broke my glasses in front of me in the store in front of customers because he said I called to many times. Avoid this place. Zak and his family are total thugs

Had a simple repair - took two days to get glasses back. They replaced the front piece without asking - its not terrible but I would have preferred to have just glued my original piece together myself if they had told me they couldnt fix it.Also, both of my lenses have scratches on them that they didnt have before. I guess they are overall better than my broken glasses but I was expecting better from an actual repair shop. It was only $20 though so Im not too upset. Id never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

Great place, great service. I found out about this place when my glasses broke, from a customer at one of the big eye glasses store. I had a guarantee, but it was going to take two weeks to get the glasses fixed. My glasses were fixed by EZ in less than an hour. The price was very nominal. Never have gone back to that big eye glass store.

Ive had nothing but phenomenal results and customer service from EZ Eye Glass Repair. Ive worked with this place for years, any time I have a busted or broken frame that my office isnt equipped to repair I refer the patient to this place because the owner can handle pretty much anything I send his way. He has bent over backwards to accommodate me and my patients, and I have nothing but respect for the man.

The guy that runs this business is crazy! At first I could not figure out what was going on because he acted so strange. I needed one ear piece replaced and I asked him if he had the part. He refused to answer the question and kept saying that they would be ready in 2 hours. When I came back the ear piece was the wrong color. He asked me if I wanted him to take it off and I said no that i would take it as is and use it until I could get the right color piece installed. He took it back from me to look at it and then proceeded to remove the ear piece from my glasses rather than let me pay and use it as a temporary fix. The place I later actually got to fix my glasses had heard of him and told me how he actually tried to pick a fist fight with an old man. This other place says they get people who have been to this crazy man often and they hear all kinds of wild stories. Stay away from this place!! Read his other reviews on here. He is not sane!!

So disappointed. Ive been here twice in the mornings and had excellent experiences. This time I went in the middle of the day due to earlier appointments. The door was locked so I stood for a second considering if they were open or not (since it was business hours and all the lights were on). I see a man pull into a spot in front of the store, get out, and walk to the door shaking his head - never once acknowledging me standing right by the door - unlock the door and disappear inside. I was unsure what to do so I retreated to my car. A moment later he leaves the store, walks across the parking lot for a drink and returns. I feel distinctly unwelcome so I think Ill find someplace else to get my glasses worked on ☹

I called in for a quote on a repair for a hinge on my glasses, and the man who answered the phone asked me what type I had. I admitted that I did not know what type it was, and asked if there was any way I could find out. Now, Ive worked a repair job before, so I know it can be frustrating to deal with customers who dont know what needs to be fixed. However, he next told me that I should hold my glasses in the air and he would telepathically tell. I laughed, and he then prodded me, completely seriously, that he would tell. After wasting both of our time for a minute he ended with saying that prices vary and that apparently I should know what type of hinges I have before calling. Very unprofessional and unhelpful, Im glad they made it apparent they are not interested in my business so I dont waste my time, gas, and money with people too rude to treat an innocent question with any respect.

My sons Ray Bans broke at the hinge. I went back to Lens Crafters at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, Friday afternoon (12/29/17) to see how long it would take to get them fixed. They said they couldnt do it and that my son needed to get another examination, followed by a new order. Appointments were not available and we needed a 24 hr turn around as we were from out of town. Estimated cost for all this would be another $250. They referred me to Fast Fix Jewelry and watch repair also located in the mall.Showing the broken hinge to the jeweler at Fast Fix, he said he was not going to be able to repair the hinge. They had a card for EZ Eye Glass Repair and they said this would be the best way to meet my needs.I called EZ Eye Glass Repair, and although they were closed, Zach still answered the phone. I told him what my issue was and that I needed them back on Saturday before I left town on Sunday. He said that he had an evening drop off window, and that after he got done with the 3 pair in front of me, I would be next. He said hed get started as early as 6:00 AM on the overnight repair needs. The next morning at 7:12 AM, I received a text from Zach saying the glasses were repaired.Zach could not repair the hinge, so he completely replaced the temples such that both sides would match the frames. Total cost of repair? $40.Picking up the glasses, I learned that Zach was a combat veteran, who is quiet and unassuming about his experience. When he learned of my background, he wanted to talk about me and not bring any attention to himself. Then he threw in a 10% military discount and asked me to sign the American flag on his wall. I was blown away.I could not be more grateful about the quick response I received, the end result of the repair and the joy I had in meeting this selfless American hero. Thank you Zach for being there for me, and promising to have my back any time I may have a need.

My glasses broke (metal nose piece holder snapped) at 10AM. I took my glasses in and by 11AM I was back at my desk at work with a newly replaced nose piece. It was soldered cleaning and fast. The staff was polite and seemed genuinely concerned with my problem.

My husband called to see if his glasses were ready because he was TOLD that theyd be ready today. The guy on the other end went from having the glasses ready in an hour, to having them ready Thursday & then to you can just come get your $ back. Ummm...wth? He would not let my husband get a word in. Then claimed that his life was being threatened. Dude needs some serious customer service skills. If you couldnt have the glasses done...just say that!!! If youre having a bad day, you cant take it out on everyone. Close shop and try again tomorrow. I will be reporting this to the BBB and everywhere else. It was totally uncalled for and unacceptable. We just wanted the glasses. Soooo, we go to the store and he comes from next door. Doesnt say anything, walks right past us and then hands my husband a check made out to my husband. I had paid with my debit card. Why wasnt the check made out to me? Horrible business.

If I could given zero stars I would. The owner is dishonest and rude and unprofessional, as other reviewers said. I came in on Monday for a pair glasses to let the owner (Zak) to repair, I brought my backup frame and all I needed was to put the glasses from the old frame to new frame And adjust the new frame. Zak not only broke one side of my new frame during replacement, at the time when he returned my glasses he didnt even mention it. Upon the time when I examined the repaired Frame, I noticed the difference between the 2 sides frames so I asked, then he admitted he broke one side of the new frame and used one part of my old frame in the new frame. Then during frame adjustment he couldnt make the frame right and he had other customers waiting. To be considerate for him, I stopped and said I will just try the frame for a few days. But then it felt too uncomfortable that I had to go back right away after I walked out of door. Then the customers lined up and to be fair to Zak, I left the frame there as he said he need more time on this and he needed to attend to other customers. I was waiting for Zak to call but He didnt call me on Monday or Tuesday. so I called him on Wednesday and he said it will be ready for pickup. On Wednesday when I arrived he was with two other customers, so I waited for a while till he asked me to come over. However the frame still didnt feel right. After just 2 or 3 adjustment he suddenly said I will have to make some special adjustment and let you come another time. I had to come twice to this place from 30 minutes away and still not get this straight. He said he had another 3 glasses before my frame but I said my frame was here on Monday and I have waited for a while on my part. I wanted to wait till he finishes with his two customers and get the adjustment done, but he refuses to provide service. He claims he has to do professional and customized work on the frame, but in reality I have worn glasses for more than 27 years and know how glasses are done and adjusted. It is just a matter of he getting impatient with my requests and trick to kick me out of the store. What guaranteed service? Dont even dream about it, he broke my new frame and tried to hide it from me, and left 2 scratches on my lenses, and still charged me $20 to fix this. Once at the mall there was a place where people just put my glasses to the backup frame for free and patiently adjust it for me. They were professionals too and didnt treat me the way Zak did. He said he took it personally about this and so be it--I will never go to this place, ever!!! I will not waste my time driving to this place and get treated like this. Save your time and go to Northpark Lenscrafters (they changed glasses for the same style frames for me and adjust and did it in a timely manner without me having to come here twice) and people there can help you without charge. I regretted deeply for having chosen this EZ repair place and things here are not easy at all. My mistake of even choosing this place! One side of the frame (due to Zac using old part to replace the new frame he broke) was wobbling and cant allow the frame to be adjusted, and Costco staff helped me fix the glass for free and with care.

I needed my Maui Jim sunglasses lenses replaced and found this place on the web. I called and asked if they would replace Maui Jim lenses. He said yes, they will but they might be able to buff them and polish the scratch out. I told him Maui Jim would charge $85 and he told me he couldnt quote me over the phone even though I had the model number. I took them in and the guy that was working was no help and completely adversarial and down right rude.

BEWARE - Owner is dishonest, rude and unprofessional. I had to get the police involved to get my glasses. He didnt give me a receipt and when I asked for one he said I never paid. I paid cash and he pocketed the money. IRS should investigate this business!

I read some glowing reviews about this small business that sells eyeglasses and does repair. I took my eyeglasses in for repair about 2:30 pm on a Thursday. A lady customer seated, discussing an eyeglass purchase with the owner, a man in his thirties. He did not greet or acknowledge me in anyway. I started perusing his eyeglass offerings and prices. The prices were exorbitant and many products dated. I could tell from the ladies body language and verbal responses, she was taken aback by his pricing for her possible order. She told him that should would be checking a few other places and quickly left.I stood there as the man shuffled some papers, never acknowledging me. I walked over to his desk and said I would like to ask a few questions regarding the repair and get a quote. He acted like I was an intrusion and stated he was actually closed, even though his hours were posted below. He then walked over to the door and locked it, turned off some lights and started to collect some things he apparently was going to take with him. I asked if he was going to help me, he (extremely agitated) hastily grabbed a repair order pad and asked me what my name was. I said, I would like to ask a few questions and get a quote before you fill that out. I mentioned I was not certain they could be repaired, as I held them in my hand for his inspection. He never took the glasses and rudely replied Theyre eyeglasses right?, as if I was a imbecile for suggesting they were beyond repair and he was the Eye Glass Repair God capable of resurrecting the dead. He stated this as he was walking to the remaining light switches and said we could finish our discussion outside. He also set his alarm and loudly exclaimed we had to get outside now! as the alarm would set quickly.He stepped outside, me right behind him, and he locked the door. His vehicle was parked right in front of the door. I know that because he walked straight to it and opened the door. As he started to get in I stated, So thats it, youre leaving? He looked at me almost with contempt and said You werent just dropping those off were you? His attitude was so offensive that it made my blood boil.I dont know what he was dealing with, perhaps a crisis, late for a crucial appointment. If that was it, he could have simply stated he was sorry, needed to leave immediately and asked me to return another day. I can say this, I will NEVER darken his door again and will tell EVERYONE I know to avoid this mans business. No excuse he could offer would explain away his attitude and behavior.
