This shop is amazing! My computer failed and I took it to this shop. They quickly determined the problem and replaced the hardware. My computer was ready as promised and it works! I am very satisfied with the work performed. This is a small business with excellent customer service. My experience was very good and far better than my experience at the big box stores. If your computer needs repair, dont wait in line at a big box store to get your computer back weeks later. I highly recommend you take your computer to this shop. You will not be disappointed.

My laptop got damage and wasnt turning on. I left my laptop at the store on Saturday before closing. Next Monday morning I got a call and I was told that the motherboard of the laptop was damage and received a price for replacing it Once I arrived (and maybe for the store owner after checking a bit more), he found that no motherboard replacement was needed, but instead only changing a capacitor. The actual price for the replacement was then less than what he told me on phone, which is fair. Of course, changing a capacitor is basically no-cost, but I know from other people that actually find which part of the motherboard board was in fact the damaged one may become an annoying task, so the price for the repair was fair as far as I understand. Honestly, the time for reparation was quick, he didnt change more than what the laptop actually needed, and it is valuable because the easy thing is replace the whole motherboard without bothering much and you get more money for that. So in fact the five stars are deserved. Take your stuff here, you wont regret c:

A bit overpriced but price was negotiable so thats ok. Be aware that your parts may be replaced with other used parts, and in my case the part he offered was as old as my computer (6 years) however, he was honest and when I asked him to use my part he happily agreed, even doing it at a lower price than previously suggestededit: Lied about refunding the $100. I gave him extra, because I knew I was still saving money.The good reviews are more than earned.

The power in my house went out while I was using my laptop. Upon turning it back on all of my information and pictures were no longer accessible, it crashed. Took laptop to them today and met their tech. -- in about two minutes he figured out where the problem; it was fairly minor, and he said he would work on the device and get it back to me in a couple of hours. So yes, I concur with the others: this shop has terrific customer service and my laptop works perfectly.

Went in there with my Asus laptop and the gentleman was very quick to diagnose the issue with my keyboard (other places told me it would take multiple business days just to get a diagnostic). Unfortunately, he had to order a replacement keyboard from China which took a while. BUT, I was given a USB keyboard FREE of charge to hold me over! When the part finally arrived, my computer was fixed within a couple of hours. AWESOME VALUE and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have an iMac and it suddenly stopped working while I was in the middle of a project with a very tight deadline. The staff at Laptop Care & PC Repair was able to quickly diagnose the problem. During the repair, they took a close look at my computer and were able to fix the problem and upgrade my hard drive leaving me with a much better machine. They also were able to recover all of my data. This was all done in a very timely manner and a good price. Im thrilled about the service I received and I highly recommend!

AMAZING service! My laptop screen stopped working, it wasnt cracked, just stopped showing anything. I took it to a larger repair shop, left it with them for a week, they ordered new parts and then returned it to me without fixing it! I took it to Laptop Care and he was able to fix it in TEN MINUTES! He ended up ordering me a higher resolution screen and still had it fixed within the day! Incredible customer service and very very knowledgeable! I will only take my stuff to him from now on!

This is a great little family owned store. Ive been coming here for some time and get great service. The owner has sold me computers as well as repaired my computers. Ive had nothing but excellent service. If youre looking for a used to refurbish computer for kids, they offer great bargains in this area opposed to buying a brand new units.The owner offers a money back warranty, if youre not happy just return the machine in good condition and they will make you happy. Play of actually fixed a few problems for me which were not their fault, and didnt even charge me!Inventory turns over fast, in if you have special request the owner will attempt to fulfill them. On several occasions hes got items in stock and called me for pick up, off my watch list.They do not have the variety of a big Box store, but can certainly supply a machine for most ordinary needsI will continue to return to this vendor, and recommend you do the same

I brought an overheating ASUS gaming laptop (ROG Strix Scar II) to the guys here at LAPTOP CARE & PC REPAIR. They were extremely helpful. They fixed the overheating by applying a new thermal paste, and the difference is night and day. The computer was an expensive piece of hardware, and Im thrilled that LAPTOP CARE & PC REPAIR were able to get it running the way it should. Whereas other laptop/PC repair shops in the area werent even interested in taking a look at the computer, LAPTOP CARE & PC REPAIR took a look, fixed it, and were communicative throughout. Great service. If you need to get an expensive, delicate, high-performance machine running again, these guys can do it!

My Dell latitude laptop wouldn’t start, so took to these guys. They told me if it’s only resetting the battery, they would do it while I’m waiting. They opened it and did a battery reset in just 10 minutes and the laptop worked! And when I told them how much does it cost, they said nothing it’s just 10 minutes work. They know what they’re doing and how to gain customers’ respect and get more customers. Very nice service over there. Highly recommended!

Super fast repair

I took my laptop in today at 11:30am and it was fixed and picked up at 3:30pm (same day)! The customer service and efficient service makes this place stand out amongst the rest. I was kept informed of the progress, the pricing was fair and my device is still in the great physical condition it was when I took it in. You wont be disappointed.

Dropped it off and received finished work three hours later. Came in with an issue with my PC, was a very broad problem that could have had multiple solutions. Found that one of the RAM sticks wasn’t working and I was on my way in no more than 45 minutes. Man I worked with was very nice and was able to fix my problem very quickly with no troubles. Outstanding job.

Windows machines and Macs. During that time I or my friends have purchased 10 - 20 refurbished Laptops without a single problem with any of them.One of the main reasons I recommend buying from Laptop Care Plano is Quality over cheap home PC. if you buy a new PC for less than $500 you’re really getting a cheap current speed unit, if you buy a used refurbished for Moody you’re getting a premium Two-year-old lease return commercial unit. That’s meaning you’re getting a better physical unit meaning the frame the cover the components are better then a brand new home $500 unit. Commercial grade units always last longer and have the durability. Buying a 250 or less price unit from Laptop care gives you a much better PC then a $500 to $600 home Type Laptop. This past weekend I bought a refurbished laptop Dell E6440 and this Laptop will last me for year to come, fyi all units I have brought still boot up and run, just want newer each time I replace. Just remember two-year-old commercial is much much better than current home unit sold at fries, Best Buy, Walmart. Thanks Moody you are the best around.

They also do a great job communicating with us along the way. We were never surprised as to the cost of the repair or the repair date. They did not try to upsale us, and they did not try to spend more money on the repair than needed. We are so glad to have a repair shop that we can trust.

Great place to take your electronics for repair! I have an HP Envy x360, pretty penny and Ive had it for quite some time. After checking out the other reviews here, I decided Id take it in for a keyboard replacement. I dont have money like I use to and I was hoping there wouldnt be some perceived judgement in pricing due to my laptop being more on the expensive side. Wow, now let me tell you with my experience, there were none! They actually quoted me a cheaper price than competitors! Sure enough, I took in my laptop for a keyboard replacement. Kirim was the guy who took in my laptop. He asserted me a good estimate on when it would be done and had me on my way. I got back my laptop and noticed that the keyboard wasnt like the original as it didnt have a hole where the light shines through for when the caps lock is toggled. Basically, its soley for aestethics but nonetheless fine for me. The real issue I had noticed was that the laptops fan was acting up and made noises that were unusual and unlike before the repair. I had brought back the laptop and Moody had reassured me that they would fix the issue free of charge. I get that things could happen and was truly happy to hear that they wouldnt turn me down and blame me for misuse or wrongdoing on my end. This right here is great customer service. I have my laptop back and I cant be happier to use it again! I have to leave this review for anyone that feels hesitant on deciding where to bring their electronics. I have nothing else to say but theyve showed awesome professionalism, great and fair pricing; I highly recommend! They also take in donations of electronics that are broken. No need to feel sad about throwing away things that could go to a better home!

I have a small (event) business that uses a lot of laptops / tablets - web capable devices. I was upgrading them to windows 10 last week, and ended up with a problem on the motheboard on one of my laptops. I had seen this shop for several year but never stopped. Im glad I stopped this time. I needed to solder a new CMOS battery onto the board, and they able to do it for me - in like 5 minutes. I looked around a bit while I was in there. They have a wide variety of high-quality used machines. Ill definitely be back next time I need to upgrade my fleet.

Fixed the problem with a new motherboard.
