Our experience with the Alair team was outstanding! We began conversations before we even moved to the Dallas area and Chad and his team were flexible and creative in getting us support virtually. Once construction began the team was responsive and professional, made every effort to smooth the process for our family with a high attention to detail and cleanliness on site so that we could continue to live in our space. Our 18 month relationship with Hatfield has been terrific. We needed the convenience of a design build firm for our renovation, and Chad was the first professional we interviewed that didnt try to dissuade us about our renovation goals. Hatfield has always found a way to get to yes through creative problem solving rather than simply saying it cant be done. Amandas design team is gifted, and being able to see the final product using their technology gave us confidence that we had made the right design and layout choices before demolition began. They did a good job of using their experience to suggest tweaks in our planning that have paid huge dividends for us. Our project managers were courteous and professional during the build, and they communicated often and openly. Chads follow up after we moved back in has been great. He calls every few weeks to see how the space is working for us and if any adjustments need to be made. We were very impressed with the entire Hatfield Builders team. Very trustworthy! They were blunt and to the point and followed through and exceeded in all of the details with the job. They were able to provide all of the proper certifications, licenses and insurance that one should alway require when Hiring a contractor. Crazy. I was looking to redo all my bathrooms and kitchen and floors. My budget was around 100-110k. I knew there might be a possibility I wouldn’t be able to fit all of that in within budget but I knew I could come close since I already bought the tile and quartz for all the bathrooms and kitchen. I call Hatfield and they said they would review what I want? Which is crazy because I’m not sure what I want besides the tile and slab. They decline me because it wasn’t enough? So I said ok went with another contractor and end up spending 150k and they did fine. Just thought it was funny that a contractor could be so snobby and I would have never wrote a review but I received a spam email from them that reminded me of the situation.

We hired Hatfield to come in and open up our entire living space and kitchen to create one large light, bright room. The project involved demoing our kitchen, dining room and living room down to the studs and tearing down a large wall dividing off the kitchen from the dining and living areas and tearing out a large wet bar. We worked with Hatfield to totally redesign our kitchen and reimagine our living area. The result is fantastic. The remodel has transformed our house into a wide-open space with tons of natural light and an awesome kitchen with a huge island.Hatfield provided us with several options and we could see everything in 3D from any angle. IT was awesome. They also were to create a continuous window line from kitchen to dining to living room looking out onto our backyard. We love the end result – this is the house we always wanted.Hatfield exceeded our expectations. We had heard many a horror story about remodeling. But we were in daily face-to-face and/or texting contact with our project manager who always responded in a timely manner. Hatfield did not nickel and dime us. Most importantly, they stood by their work and if anything needed to be done to achieve the plan we agreed on – they did it willingly. I whole heartedly recommend them.

We bought a 15+ year old executive home in West Plano, Texas. Chad Hatfield and his design team selected and updated many components throughout the kitchen and bath(s). They also helped with color selection and repainting most rooms The home is now updated and beautiful. Our house now prices out significantly above the purchase and renovation costs.

We used Hatfield to manage a remodeling project for our newly purchased home for a complete redo of the master bath and an update of the kitchen and fireplace. They came highly recommended by friends and I must say that they lived up to their reputation.Using Hatfield means you are dealing with one point of contact instead of several contractors. Their design team gave great recommendations for updating the house within a budget. Their project manager was on site for every step of demolition and remodeling and rode herd on the tradesmen who have the frustrating habit of being late and getting off target. The result was a project that stayed on track, finished when they said it would and allowed us to plan our move around the completion date.They do high quality work and you have the comfort of knowing it will be completed when and how you want it. If you are looking for a budget contractor, dont waste their time or yours, but if you want reliability and quality, Hatfield should be at the top of your list of builder contractors.

I am disappointed in my short-lived experience. I called for an estimate. On this phone call, I gave an arbitrary estimate of my budget for the project. I was told I would receive a follow up call the following business day. Rather than a follow up call, I received a rejection email saying they were not suited for my project. As the email contained very little reasoning, I can only assume they thought my budget was too small. However, I had given no indication that the number i provided on the initial call was the full amount of my budget. Either way, I am happy for the rejection now that it is clear the company only cares about the money.

I contacted Hatfield Builders to see whether they can do the project for the house that I put an offer to. Their process starts from initial meeting, but with my situation of relocating from out of state, I just cant do the initial meeting. I wanted to finish renovation project prior to moving. So I was wondering if someone can come out to the actual place when I visit Dallas this coming week to measure the property and give some sort of ideas on how much its going to cost based on the idea that I had. I talked to Tori from hatfield. She asked if I have contacted any other reno companies and I said I did since Im relocating from out of state. She said she would send me an email to send her some images which can help them figure out what Im looking for. She also asked me to answer all of the questions in the email. I answered all of the questions and sent images. Next day, I got a call from someone else from Hatfield. He told me that they dont do bidding process. Instead, asked me what Im looking to do with the house. I told him Im looking to renovate kitchen, entire flooring in 1st floor and possibly master bath depending on budget. He asked what my budget is and I told him. After that, he said he would recommend me to someone else that can do that job. I asked him why they would recommend me to go someone else instead of them and he said specifically because of the budget and I dont fit into their process. I was very surprised to get such response. Maybe 30k is not worth anything to Hatfield. I wanted to stay under 30k, but depending on situation, I would be able to go as high as 60k. I now will have to look for another reno company who would get that money from me. Im pretty sure there are more than enough reno companies in Dallas who would love to do the job.

Were finishing up construction on our new house which, from planning to completion, has taken about just over a year. Im, to put it lightly, a precise person and have clearly defined, but very high, expectations. Chad and his team worked with us from pre-planning to architectural plans to constructions and completion in a way I could only hope for.This is our first house to build and Ive heard a multitude of nightmare stories regarding cost overruns, change orders, poor scheduling and even worse from friends that have built houses and done major remodel projects and wanted to spell things out very clearly, from the beginning, to avoid as many of these pitfalls as possible.Before we made the choice to work with Hatfield, we interviewed his team as much as they interviewed us to ensure everyone knew what the process would be like and what everyones expectations were. Throughout this process weve valued that everyone at Hatfield has not just, built what we asked for but offered recommendations, based off their experience, to ensure we would end up with the best final product possible. Everything has been a true calibration with the end goal being a beautiful and timeless home that was: on time, on budget and exceeded our hopes.
