Just got my 11 year old sons hair cut here. They did a wonderful job. He had hair down to almost the middle of his back. Two years worth of hair after being stuck at home during covid and we had finally had enough. They knocked it out of the park. He looks and feels great. Thank yall so much.

Michael is a really cool dude and very talented barber. Got a really good haircut and beard trim for a good price. I’m getting married in less than a week and this is the man I trusted. How can I say this? Michael is the A-1 example of a business owner. He’s cut my hair probably ten times, and I get compliments every time. From Philly, this dude is exemplary of the perfect barber. This has been my third or fourth haircut with Micheal. I can say without a doubt that these have been the best haircuts I’ve ever had. And to whoever said “Too hipster for my taste.” Idk what he’s talking about. Their decor consists of signed boxing photos and gloves and their music playlist is almost all classic rock. I’m pretty sure that’s not hipster but none of that matters because the haircuts are awesome and Michael will make sure you’re not bored. I always enjoy our conversations and look forward to getting my hair cut every time. 10/10 don’t pass this place up.

Michael has been cutting my hair for a good number of years now, and I have followed him to the various places that he has cut. Not only is he an excellent cutter, but his new location is amazing.A lot of what is important to me as a customer is not just that it is a good cut, but that the shop is a place that I am excited to spend my time in. As someone who gets a cut every few weeks, if I dont get good vibes from a location, I wont be back.From the music, to the atmosphere, to the lounge area, this place checks all the boxes. I loved my first visit, and there will be many more to come.

Called needing to get in last minute on a Friday afternoon, thankfully Michael was able to squeeze me in. I was trying to avoid a chain haircut place and I did more than that. The haircut was exceptional, first good haircut I’ve had in years, I gave a very vague description of what I wanted and he delivered above and beyond. The price is amazing as well. I’ve found my new barber, and if you’re picky and looking for a great place to get your haircut, this is the place!

This is a fantastic barbershop. I dont have much hair left so I am extremely picky about who I let cut/style it. A friend recommended it to me recently and I am grateful he did. This place is locally owned and hold themselves to higher standard than most upper echelon barber shops I have been to. It is the perfect balance of professional and personal service. Im new to the area. I took my 3 yr old for a scheduled haircut. Michael did an ok cut. Spent maybe 10 minutes on the cut. It cost $27. It was uneven and there were long hairs missed. Took my child two weeks later to Lombardo’s Barber Salon. I’d try every barber shop in the area before I go to Rapattoni’s or I’d find somewhere less expensive if I was fine with a mediocre haircut.

The experience at Rapattoni’s Barbershop is worth the 20 minute drive! It’s locally owned and has the best of the best working there. With the deluxe cut you’ll receive a hot lather neck shave, wash with relaxing hot towel and style. Topped off with a shoulder and neck massage. I first met Michael, the owner, when he was working at a different barbershop in Plano. I enjoyed the haircut and also appreciated the conversations we had. When I heard he was starting his own barbershop i decided to drive the extra 15 minutes to try it out. Some people are great conversationalists, some can cut hair, and a few can start a business. Michael does all three at a top tier level.Michael and his staff are friendly, professional, and I respect his tenacity in starting up a business during a virus outbreak. The prices are fair and on par with what you would expect at other barbershops and salons in the area, but the connection Michael can develop with his customers is worth much more. You can tell by his demeanor towards client and his employees that he is a genuine person that cares about others and does his best every time to provide excellent service.There is a waiting area with drinks in the fridge and a large TV on the wall for entertainment. The barbershop is large enough for you to have your own space (6 feet apart right?) but small enough to make you feel like you are in a small town barbershop which is something I like.After the haircut you can get your hair washed along with an optional hot towel on your face. Its worth the time and money. Michael has plans to add wall art and other aesthetics to the shop, so the blank walls you may see in early photos will look much different in the future.You can park out front if you want to but the best option would be parking out back in the parking garage. Its literally a just across the street behind the shop. By the way its FREE!The location of the shop is great and is in an area that is walking distance to some interesting restaurants, bars, and shops that remind me of a nice small town center. I recommend after getting your haircut you visit some of those. Grab some food, maybe a drink and get compliments on your haircut. Just remember to tell them what barbershop you went to.

Mr. Rapattoni did an awesome job getting my son from Covid mop head to handsome fly styled hair!! Love a true barber shop cut with hip & style... not just a flat top boring cut. This place is a must from young to old clients. We are so happy to have them on the East Side!!

I have never done a review before but honestly this is best barbershop I have ever been too! The people over there are really cool and genuine, I got the best hair cut I have ever had and the best conversation too.I recommend this place to anyone that wants a great hair cut and wants to experience a great barbershop feel. The location is great too since it’s in downtown Plano, after you get your fresh cut you can go and see what the downtown has to offer.
