This agency has definitely gone downhill since Charles sold it to Brown & Brown. He had built a great reputation for a customer oriented insurance agency. My advice to Charles is grab your money and run. I have recommended this agency to 5 members of my family and 6 of my golfing/church friends. They are all calling me with terrible stories of incompetence and lack of customer service. Some of the stories are borderline incompetence and or business ethics. As a retired CEO of a regulated insurance company (Not auto or homeowners), I have encouraged them to file complaints with the Texas Department of Insurance. Do not waste your time with this agency. There are many good locally owned companies that want your business and will do a good job for you.

I was a long time customer. realized i was being over charged. cancelled a policy i started withing 30days. the kept the WHOLE down payment and never told me the payment company would also hit me for another 400. roughly 2 grand for 3 weeks over insurance. they refuse to get the payment company to stop collections so mu choice is pay the extra now 600 with fees or deal with bad credit. they dont disclose this. they take advantage and this is why i left when i realized i was being bilked. i will be filing complaints with Texas department of insurance, the AG and taking them to small claims for failure to disclose and represent in good faith.

They sent me a personalized quote for my home insurance, but when I called to sign up they jacked up their quote by 50%. Total waste of time.

I now have a new homeowners policy with a recognized, highly-rated company that beat my faceless Internet policy hands down. Now, I can receive person-to-person service from a local agent when I need it.

I spent hours working with them on three policies. At the last minute, they said they wont cover me because I had to file a claim on my car during Hurricane Harvey. They raised my quote by $200 and when I questioned it, they then said they arent the company for me...Looks like they dont like questions, and Id redflag an insurance company like that.
