This studio is inviting, casual, and clean. My stylist, Ana, did an excellent job - I rarely get my hair styled but she was able to give me suggestions and I love how it looks now. She was very professional and took the time to listen to me. Happy to have a great salon in my neighborhood

I am new to the area and Allure made me feel right at home. I worked with Kathryn who was an absolute delight and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the result. Its been a long time since I had a full foil and after my appointment I realized I wanted to go a bit lighter. No questions asked Kathryn fit me back in to her busy schedule, lifted my highlights a bit more and they are beautiful. I will definitely return.

Had a bit of a moment before a wedding I was attending where there was no way to dry my hair. I walked in and they asked what I wanted (wash/blow dry) and took me in within 10 min or less (on a very busy Saturday midday) and fit me in between colors. I cant remember the man that styled my hair (blonde top..brown beard) but he was awesome. Thank you so much for you accommodating me on a walk in notice.

Great place, I found a Groupon and had my hair done with Anna she was really good, shes young and full of pep my color came out nice I really liked it...🧡🧡🧡

I would give them one star if I could!!! I will never come back!!!! I’ve been to many salons and I’ve been doing shellac for a lot of years! This was the worst nail experience and customer service I’ve ever had. It left me shocked and speechless!!!!! Hairstylist was sent to do my nails, she was very nice, although it seemed like she has never done nails on anyone before. Cuticles were not cut well at all, polish application was sloppy and very unprofessional! I asked her to remove it and she absolutely destroyed my nails with the nail file!!! This is what my nails look after!Owner was very rude and didn’t even had interest to look at my nails to see the result!!!! Can’t believe what I just had experienced!!!!! Ridiculous!!!!

I’ve been seeing Doreen for a few years now and I will continue to for all my haircare needs! She always takes great care of me and I always leave there feeling like a princess with how amazing she does my hair! I highly recommend Allure; every staff Member is so friendly and kind. The Studio environment is beautifully done; clean and professional. You can sip a cup of coffee or tea (etc) while you’re hair is processing and then leave there feeling like a million bucks.

Would not recommend!!! The worst experience ever!!!!! Never ever book a nail appointment with them!!! Absolute waste of time! I did my nails today and its not even been a day and the gel already chipped and messed all up. They asked too many questions about my personal life and made me feel like I am having an interview not like I am getting my nails done!!!

My first visit here it felt like home from the salon from Connecticut that I went to. The atmosphere, very comfortable, music delightful and Catherine was very friendly. She styled and cut my hair the way I wanted it. Catherine is very friendly, complimentary, and encouraging hair stylist. I am completely satisfied with her! 😊

I had the worst experience. Im not sure if I received this disservice because I went through Groupon, but a 1½ hour process quickly turned into 4 hours; it looked like something I had attempted on my own. When it comes to Brazilian Blowouts--they are clueless.Would NOT recommend!

Toni is stylin! Whew Ive gotten so many compliments on my highlighted hair. She is so on point, listens to you, uses great products, the salon is welcoming, and they make you feel fabulous. I would highly recommend Toni and Allure.

Ashley is not just a hairdresser....she is an artist with your hair....she created the best haircut I have had in over 8 years.....she is amazing... I figured as an older person, I could not expect the great hairstyles once given to me...I had to settle for the safe old lady look.. Ashley proved me wrong... she created a color and style that caused me to feel stylish again... Thank you....

CJ was awesome. Everyone was very friendly and safety during the pandemic was taken very seriously.

If you have a weird cowlick, that no one can figure out. Or if you need some awesome makeup done. Or a really good color job. Go see CJ. He is one of the friendliest hairdressers Ive ever have met. Doreen messed up my hair..the chemicals she used damaged my hair...she also said when I asked for a quote and how many foils shed put on my hair she said shed put 80 on my head and she actually only put 25..i counted them and then asked her for a confirmation and she confirmed 25. They claim to do the same job as they would on Newbury Street but for less money...i had a Groupon and I still ended up paying $90 which was definitely too much for the low quality chemicals she used. Dont waste your money here.2 months later after I posted this review I was volunteering at an event and Doreen walks up to me with her child in tow and she asks me Do you remember me?. I said that she looked familiar, but I wasnt sure. She then started to lean into me about my review above. I told her that its her right to have her own opinion as I also do. I wrote truthfully what my experience was. She then said We never do less than 80 foils and then something about if I didnt like the job she did, I should have called her. In my opinion, if somebody does me wrong (especially something as delicate as my hair) I wont go and give them a second swing at me. I then said I counted them and confirmed it with you..i didnt make it up. I then said I do hope you feel better now that you told me how you felt about my review. We both walked our separate ways and that was that. I cannot recommend this salon.. period.

The head person did a terrible terrible job on my boyfriend. Just wanted a simple hair cut and she absolutely butchered it. There were lines going across the top of his head. I also had to go home and fix my hair myself. Wont be going back!

I have been going to Dorreen for years, I am now living 3 and a half hours from plaistow and have recently been recovering from Chemo. I have a full head of hair and will not get it cut until I see Doreen......I have never had a better cut in my life and have had many!
