I finally found a nice Dollar General in New Jersey.

Because of my experience I find that Dollar General is a very good place to shop on a budget.

Very poor customer service 1 speed slow

Tidy; Well organized, stocked with the items I need, & well ran. Dozens of times shopping there, never ONCE a problem/misunderstanding.

Normally a $5 off $25 coupon is on line. This adds to the sale along of value. The prices are reasonable and they have a good selection of items.

I visited Plainfield, NJ store almost every week. For couple times the clerk told me to leave my backpack by shopping carts in order to shop. I definitely did not feel comfortable to just leave my valuable items by the shopping carts without security personnel. So I just left the store. I can always shop at other stores in the community.

Im giving the store 3 stars only for the cashier, not sure how many people work in the store but it was a mess. Someones child had peed on the floor and it wasnt cleaned immediately. They need more space they had clearance items all in one place just a mess hire more workers at this location please

Have everything I need a very good prices. Service was prompt and pleasant in my container friend from the bonus $20 its always good to get bonuses when you shop. I give this Dollar General 4 stars its one of the best in the state

Good store but could be a little more organized. Its better than Family Dollar in Plainfield, I would definite go to DR first. Great with school supplies and housewares...

Things arent one dollar each they charge alot for everything too expensive not the best products. Go to Dollar tree everything there is one dollar they have good stuff. Didnt really like them Dollar tree on oak tree Rd S.Plfd is much better I go there good stuff!

So.Plainfield manager and her assistant woman were rode and uncooperative they refused to sell me dollar general gift card.This is because I told them that I am using it to pay online services bill. Corner store for everyday needs. In addition to foods, they have health and beauty aids, clothing, hardware, greeting cards and many more items. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Most items are Inexpensive.

Average Price may be inexpensive but product range is very narrow.

This store still a mess even with new renovations. Carts of boxes down the aisles. Boxes everywhere. This store needs a full team to actually work and stock shelves!

Very friendly place but it was very unorganized. Many things were in the places they shouldnt have been. In other words very messy place.

The are racist in a way when it comes to looking for help. When I would ask for help and different employees always giving nasty faces or they seem like your bothering and they dont want to help you !

The Store is not run properly and some of the staff and manager very disrespectful to the customers and when you call and complain to the Corporate Office and General Manager for that store his mailbox is full.
