I rented a car to go on vacation from this Enterprise location. Adrian provided exceptional customer service and helped solve a minor inconvenience along the way. Don’t believe “it’s only a few dollars extra per day” Insurance gave us 30 per day, we were told the “upgrade” car would only cost $2 per day extra. This would be a $60 fee to have a “upgraded” car for the 30 days. Our final bill was $166 as hidden fees came with the $2 per day. Be honest, it’s 5.50 a day and something I wouldn’t have done if told honestly. This person got an “up sell” of $100 by being sneaky!Go somewhere else.

I rented a vehicle from this place due to my personal vehicle being involved in a accident. The first rented vehicle was great! No complaints. Then while driving home I received a phone call from enterprise. Stating they sold the vehicle and I needed to return the rented suv. I told them no problem, but I would need another suv. They told me no problem. So I ended up bringing the first vehicle in, they in return gave me another vehicle. This vehicle smells of smoke. I have tried to explain to them that I have a newborn baby and I can’t put my child in a vehicle that smells this way. I have called them for 3 straight days and have gotten nowhere. I still have this same vehicle. If my insurance didn’t use enterprise, I would not be using them. The worst customer service I have ever seen! I will be reporting this business to the better business. I will also continue to leave negative feedback wherever I can. I will be dropping this vehicle off tomorrow, still did not receive a different vehicle, nor did I ever get another call back from this company. This place is one of the worst businesses I have ever done business with. I will never rent another vehicle from this place again!
This Enterprise Rent-A-Car and its staff is great. The staff is so nice and friendly. They are also very accommodating to your needs. I highly recommend this location.
This rental place is just great. They are small but its closer to my home so its a lot convenient for me to get a rental from this location. They might not have a huge selection like other places. But if you make u r reservation ahead of time, they will make sure they get that vehicle to their location and keep it ready for you.The staff here are super friendly and will take care of you. I would wanna give a special shout out to Esther who went above and beyond to help me close my rental when there were some problems in closing my rental. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for any kind of rental, they have the best people to take care of you :)

Shift in management, but doesn’t change the way Enterprise does business; excellent. Been coming to this location for the last two years. Tim helped me through a lot of personal issues last year with cars being quick and Efficient. Now I’ve had the pleasure to meet Sara and she’s taken the cake. Reservation ran into some issues, she shifted it to my liking and satisfied the customer. Have definitely recommended and will continue to!
This is probably the twentieth year, maybe longer that I have consistently been an Enterprise customer. Once or twice I have rented maybe six or seven times a year. Mostly I rent a week here a week there. I mention this because I get the same great service that the volume renters do.I have also purchased cars from Enterprise. I was introduced to the Idea by my father-in-law. I am on my third Enterprise car and I cant imagine everpurchasing any other way. I review online from Enterprise extensive inventory, narrow my choices down to a few I like, than go to their showroom. Three times I have purchased a car, barely a year old, without the hassle or showroom sticker shock. I also have the advantage of knowing which cars are performing up to their hype and promise.Thanks Enterprise...see you soon.

Unfortunately my experience began positively but quickly deteriorated. My spouse and I are Enterprise Plus members and loyal long term customers. I called the Plainfield Location for a week long rental. I was transferred by Esther to Central Reservations for the best rate. Lin (sp?) quickly placed my reservation and sent me an Email confirmation for an 8AM pickup August 4. I told both I work where I can not answer my personal phone. Email was received with opening line “You are all set”, along with Reservation Confirmation number. This is when it deteriorates... I arrived home at 5 pm to a phone message from Plainfield Location saying I see you made a reservation on our site we will have to put you on our “Call Back list” we have no cars available. I called . Their office was closed. I then called Enterprise Customer Service. Josh, CSR, stated this has been happening a lot lately and put his Manager Liza on the phone. I asked her what is a confirmed reservation if you cannot fulfill it. Its like purchasing a plane ticket and being told day of flight you have no seat. When I asked for a resolution none was offered. Reservation cancelled, confidence in integrity cancelled, Business taken elsewhere.
We had a wonderful experience with Candace. Due to a late flight cancellation we needed to rent a car to drive to another airport. Candace not only took great care of us, but stayed late to make sure we were set up for our trip. Thank you so much as you may have saved us our vacation!!
I was hesitant to write a review because I was hoping that I would’ve gotten the matter resolved with an area or district manager, to no avail!I’m not sure where to begin…if you wanted to be treated like a peasant then this is the place for business!Last month my transmission went out on my vehicle and I decided to come to this location on (1/16/19) because it was the closest…I NOW REGRET IT! I paid my balance when I was made aware of it over $700 within a few weeks. When I signed my agreement I was asked if I had insurance, to which I didn’t have the info on me at the moment & I advised the person that was helping I would call back to give him the info. I never called back to provide the information and assumed I would be charged the $20 a day for insurance to which I was not. I got a cracked windshield and called to see how would I got about getting it fixed I was told I would have to go through my insurance 😳What insurance when I’ve been paying for the $20/day insurance with y’all?! I was then told there was a insurance for State Farm added to my account. I don’t even have State Farm insurance!!!!! I agreed to pay the cost to get it fixed but made them aware that I shouldn’t have to cover it. I was told that he would email me the quote on how much it would cost.Two days went by and I never received the email. I called back on 2/13/19 to question about the email and was told he forgot to send it because it was so busy. 😑 he later sent the email and told me I had a balance of $2.31 to which I gave him the authorization to take the payment. To my understanding this would bring me current. I asked if it would be possible if someone could check the tires because the pressure light keeps popping on and I was low on washer fluid. I was told I could come in on 2/16/18. I had both of my kids with me and didn’t want to go through the hassle having them to wait around with me.On 2/18/19 I went into the location to get the tires checked out on my lunch break & waited in line patiently. I was asked did I need help with anything and I stated the reason for my visit. Gorge took the keys and said he’ll be more than happy to assist and asked me to have a seat. I did. He came back and wanted to verify my information and stated that I have a past due balance of $400 I questioned the balance because when I last spoke to someone it was $2.31. Then they say well you were supposed to came in on Saturday what does me coming on Saturday have to do with me having a balance on Monday?! They then say well we were going to renew your contract. I then offered to pay them on Thursday, being that I just moved literally a week ago! They tell me that’s not an option and in order for me to get the car back I would have to pay the entire balance right then! excuse me?! Why wasn’t I notified of this prior?! We’re they going to have me come in on Saturday & force me to give up the vehicle if I didn’t have the money?! I’m so glad I didn’t go that Saturday when I had my kids because this would be a total different story! I can’t believe how I was treated. Gorge then had the audacity to ask if I wanted him to run the payment for the balance on Thursday. 😳 excuse me?! If I can pay Thursday I should be able to keep the vehicle and pay Thursday! He then says how do you plan on resolving the cracked windshield. 😳 I told him I shouldn’t have to pay anything when I’ve been paying for insurance through enterprise! I was told that they would allow me to get my things out of the vehicle and the balance would be sent to collections. I’m an assistant manager for a popular retailer who just happens to use enterprise for all of their business. I can’t believe I was just treated this way. I cleaned out the vehicle of my things and walked back to work in the cold, about 20 minutes. I called to report the situation and was told I’m on the Do Not Rent list! I’ve called everyday since 2/18/19 and haven’t received a call back from corporate yet! With this inconvenience I was late picking up my kids from the babysitter and she quit and now my job is on the line
Dont rent from this location. If you can manage it, rent from Shorewood or Crest Hill - any other Enterprise than this one. Long-time customer, have a corporate account etc, but have never taken advantage of their well pick you up promise.I chose this location because of its proximity to my house and to give the pick-up service a try. Cam, the branch manager, could not be bothered. I hadnt even given him my address and Cam decided that I was too far away or that he would be understaffed that day.Enterprise should stop advertising themselves as the company that will pick you up. Ive never once had this service offered to me and on the occasion that I sought out the service, I was denied said service for unknown reasons.
The staff at the Plainfield, IL location on 123rd & Rt. 59 is awesome! I was traveling out of town early the next morning and car that I was promised unfortunately wasn’t available when I arrived for pick up. Phil went above and beyond to find a vehicle that would accommodate my family and that I felt comfortable driving, which happened to be a complimentary upgrade to an SUV! Since Phil knew that I was taking a road trip, he called me the next day to make sure everything was ok with the car and even extended the offer to contact him with any concerns during my trip. The customer service at this location is top notch! Thank you, Enterprise...you have gained a forever customer!

I have a reservation through allstate from Friday. One associate called and told me they are short on cars and will call me once they have it ready. Its Saturday afternoon now and I am still waiting for them to call back and let me know when the car is available...I called them up twice today and was on hold for 15 mins each time and once someone picked up but asked me to be on hold. Now they are closed and I am without a car. I needed the car for the weekend. I would have appreciated if they followed up or had at least made arrangements to get me a car. But no follow up???? What business is this?Very unprofessional and disappointing service level. No option to give 0 stars.

The start of the experience was not great. There were long delays in getting picked up and getting a car. They facility was busy, but I would have appreciated being given an more realistic period of time to wait. However, once I reached the counter, the customer service was stellar and the car was very nice and I was then well handled.
I have rented the car from here for 6 weeks. Very reasonable weekly rates. Great experience and very nice team. I definitely recommend this location.

Had to Uber to another location in Shorewood after terrible treatment. Shorewood was only ones to apologize and actually try to help. Do not use this location!!!
I got a great deal on an f150. And they picked me up and dropped me off at the repair shop where i had my car for service. The service was very friendly.

My experience was great with this Enterprise. I came into town from Texas to visit friends/family and was expecting to drive away in a Kia Rio since that was the price per day I could afford. Instead, I was told they only had a Cadillac SUV left and so I drove away in style for my time there. Thank you, it was refreshing!
Pleased with the customer service representative at the rte. 59 Plainfield Illinois branch who worked hard to find the appropriate car for our travels after finding out that the car I was requiring was not available. Upon our return he offered a discount for our trouble and an upgrade for our next return to rent. He was most apologetic that the car was not what we needed.For future reference.. if a car is being reserved for a person and you receive a confirmation number the car you reserved should not be passed on to someone who came in earlier without a reservation looking for a car. A reserved car should mean that the car has been placed aside for you. Some people require special needs that were most likely conveyed in advance.Thank You
I have been renting from these guys at this location for years. They have always provided the best customer experience. They are the best. I wish all customer service representitives had such great attitudes. Enterprise has done a great job at hiring such great employees. I recently moved and the Plainfield location isnt the closet to me, but I rented from then anyway. So thank you for always taking such good care of us.
Long waiting periods. Phone ringing the entire time I was there, no one to pick it up. Staff was friendly. I was charge extra to get the brand car I wanted even tho it was in the same class I had chosen when I made the reservation. It would be nice if we could make a selection on the car we want when making the reservation.Im a returning customer, and didnt want them to put a hold on my CC so I needed to print a bill, I dont know what its the point of that.I will be trying a different car rental next time.

I will not be using Enterprise again. I reserved a mid sized vehicle and received a minivan instead. Not happy about that at all.they were 30 minutes late picking me up and because I decided to get my car fixed at a quality repair place and they required me to submit a utility bill. 2 hours laters, I was finally able to rent the vehicle but they made me late for work.
I am a customer at this Enterprise location for over 8 years, but the last 6 months has been a train wreck. Second time I have come in on a Saturday to rent a vehicle at this location in a month... Terrible service, long wait... Understaffed on Saturday. My recommendation is to just go down to 119th and Route 59 and go straight to Hertz... Better service, cleaner cars and the same price. I am done with this Enterprise location... It is managed terribly no matter when you go there!

I have been renting cars from Enterprise and I have been very happy but my experience with some of the employees at Enterprise AA NORTH PLAINFIELD 12337 S ROUTE 59 UNIT 135 is the worst. After giving them my C.card before I picked up rented the car, they called me once got my voicemail that they need my CC again. They started calling my family member looking for me like I am owing you money- so embarrassing:( when u called them back they told me that after taking my card they did not save the card. Secondly, they rent you a car without out proper explanation of terms and condition, when I asked he said that what Google is for. The manager was full of nasty attitude, I was over charged and when I asked why? And I want to dispute charges he I have no and that is your prerogative. Enterprise is not known to be this rude and nasty. I left unhappy and I will never return.
Awesome experience renting from Enterprise. I visit Chicago, from Atlanta, and often need a car rental for the weekend. Never had any issue with picking up a great, clean car at a great price.
Falsely accused of hail damage. Car was never in a storm, had ipass documentation it was out of state for the storm. Renters beware of their policy. Have been renting from hertz before without issues.
Bad serviceI rented here 3 times and each time I was given a smaller car than what I have reserved forThey run out of cars, and in the last minute I didnt have a choice but to take what they could give (in my case smaller cars)The manager pretty much tells you to take it or leave it.Not fun
I believe his name was Jason, but I cannot remember, but the person who was suppose to open the branch was not there, and Jason was standing outside with the customers, because he was not able to get in, and he immediately began trying to figure out solutions to help everyone, he ended up getting in and we were all served but, he was AWESOME, just wanted you to give a shout out!!!
I had a nice salesman but the car was dirty and only had 1/8 of a tank of gas in it. Ive never rented a car that was worse than what I own. Terrible business practice.

I rent from Enterprise at lease 4time a yr, this was my first experience at this location & it was the worst.1st of all they didnt have the vehicle I requested or anything similar, 2nd I walk into the office & waited 15 min absolutely no one approached me.I call from my cell phone hoping someone would pick up so that I can say Im in your Lobby please assist me, finally I walked around the back of the store to 1 guy washing a car another guy & girls sitting their laughing & talking...Worst customer service ever..I checked out the reviews Pryor to my visit, they were rated 2-3 stars, I see why. I will be going back to the carol stream area..
I originally called to schedule a rental for a reservation that I have with an insurance company. I called a couple of times before someone took the call but only to take my name and number down because he had five customers in line and said they would call me back. Well, it had been 30 mins and it was close to closing so I drove to the location. I was trying to be proactive to get the paper work all squared away for the next morning pick-up but was told they were completely out of cars and I would have to come back in the morning with no guarantee a car would be ready and I would have to wait. Well, it was suggested that I go to another location when I explained I needed to be in Oakbrook by 8:30am but they really preferred to rent me a car. So off I went to try and track down an Enterprise so I can complete my reservation that has been pending for the last few weeks. There definitely, was not customer service to help get me a car to their location or any suggestions of taking my name and number and getting me a car first thing in the morning so I wasnt late to work. Maybe, it just me but you have a lot of young individuals running your stores that more then a handful have no idea of what customer service is and only a few that do from reading prior reviews.

This place is UNPROFESSIONAL and this COMPANY has the worst management. I mad reservations ahead of time and guess what NO VEHICLE. i was sent off to so many other locations with NO VEHICLE. i was told to take a TAXI bcuz i was not able to get picked up and guess what the location didnt have a VEHICLE SMH BEYOND A NOT HAPPY CUSTOMER.

I made the reservation on july 21 for rental on aug 3 thru aug 5th . I asked for a pickup at 10 am on aug 3rd and confirmed the reservation on aug 2nd. at 10.30 am on aug 3rd I was still waiting for a pickup . I called the office and asked why wasnt I picked up I was advised that they were still waiting for cars to come in and they left a message on my home phone in Arizona even though on aug 2nd I gave them my cell phone as I was at my sons home in plainfield. I checked my home phone and the only thing they left was a message on aug 2nd confirming the reservation for aug 3rd. I went to the office (called a cab) about 11 am and when I got to the office I was told that cars were coming in but they didnt know when. I asked why couldnt they have a car when they knew of the reservation on july 21. they couldnt give me a worthwhile answer. at approximately 1 pm or so some cars did come in and I was given one of them I wasnt offered any discount for the delay they did say they were sorry but it was out of there hands. in all fairness they did give me a brand new kia sportage with 37 miles on it but the acceleration was sticking and you had to be careful when you accelerated because the car would jump when the acceleration engaged. I wasnt satisfied at all with this rental with enterprise and am not sure if I will use them again
They cant rent a truck without an actual credit card??? If its debit the money is coming directly from a bank so why not take it??? So stupid

Everything went well. The only thing was the inside car windows were extremely dusty so I had to clean the winsheild.
Bait and switch on insurance when I set up a rental for my kid and he picked it up. Told them no insurance was needed, because my own insurance covered all. They added it anyways.
