It was an absolute pleasure to work with Tranquility on our kitchen renovation. From the first time we met Bev, we felt at ease. At our initial meeting, she looked around, took measurements, and went through what we would like for our space. She pointed out a pipe which might be an issue right away, and we appreciated knowing about this from the get go. Meeting with Ryan and Abbi to design the space was so much fun. It was great to see the 3D renderings. I had my heart set on one long island, but Bev and Ryan came and taped out the space to show me how two islands would be better aesthetically and from a working standpoint. I am so glad they were able to change my mind. Bev was also able to talk me off the cliff on a couple small design elements, pointing out that they would not be easy to change out and were very specific to my taste. She was not pushy at all, but her pointing these out changed my mind. Working with Elliott as our general contractor was great. Any issue that came up, he was on it. He kept us updated about what to expect week to week and sent us a text each evening on what would be going on the next day. This was especially helpful because it helped us to plan what to do with our kids and dog. We could not be happier with how our kitchen turned out, and there is not one thing we would change about it. All of the contractors were professional and did beautiful work. They kept us updated on any changes that needed to be made, and there were no surprises. We would highly recommend Tranquility to anyone looking to renovate their home.

Jim came out to our house for a consult on a Saturday in June. He spent 2.5 hours here taking measurements, pictures, and talking. He said someone would be in touch On Monday or Tuesday to confirm everything we talked about. After not hearing back, I sent an email to Ryan both as a gentle nudge to remind them to contact us and also to let them know the scope of the project changed. Its now the middle of August and we never heard a word back from either Jim or Ryan. Huge bummer, we really liked Jim and his ideas. Oh well.

Tranquility builders did a great job with our kitchen. They also helped with remodeling our staircase and family room. All of the jobs were done very professionally. I would definitely recommend them. It was a pleasure to work with Jim and Bev.

Tranquility was a pleasure to work with.Unlike other house renovation stories weve heard in the past, they actually finished the project on-time. We would receive a text the night before informing us who would be arriving the following morning (carpenter, painter etc...) and when, and lo and behold they would arrive on time.They had some great ideas regarding kitchen design that we utilized, and were glad we listened to them.Their contractors were also great to deal with and had a can-do attitude.Were very happy with our new house, and we would highly recommend Tranquility to anyone.

The first was their communication: Each night, wed get a text from Elliott outlining what work would take place the next day and when the workers would be arriving. If youve ever worked with a contractor, you know this is not always something that happens. It was really appreciated.The second was the attention to detail. If anything needed an adjustment or touch-up, Tranquility was happy to see to it. Ive never worked with anyone that did a better job of following up on bucket-list items. We had such a great experience with Tranquilty beginning to end. In the beginning we didn’t know exactly how we wanted our basement to come together. Ryan was able to take all of our conversations and transform them into a beautiful design. Elliot and his team brought that dream design to life! Contacted them to build a house for us. Bev came out and met with us and said they’d love to do the job. Promised to send us info the next day and we never heard back. My husband tried to get in touch with them and we never heard back. We were so hopeful but so let down. We will build our house with another builder.

You couldnt pay me enough to hire Tranquility Builders again. I was assured they knew how to build a front porch. They didnt! They used the cheapest materials possible. The floor is facing the wrong way. The rail tops are 2 x 4s with visible screw heads on the top. The gutters were pitched wrong and damaged the ceiling. When I complained I was treated like I was a stupid woman. I couldnt wait for them to leave.

Tranquillity Builders has done everything for me from finishing my basement to complete refinishing of my hardwood floors. She gave us all ins and outs on every choice we had to make. She ensured we made an educated decision about our project every step of the way. I highly recommend Tranquility Builders. They installed granite counter tops, brick backsplash, refinished my oak cabinets, painted casements on 9 new windows, painted 10 six-panel oak doors and door jams and baseboards throughout. Jim made sure everything was exactly what I wanted, met us at tile store for brick selection. When there was a slight delay with his painting crew, he refused to send anyone else based on the excellence of Gregg and his crew. He was right. Our kitchen looks fabulous!!!! Aside from the never-ending dust from sanding:) every crew coming in were very conscious of getting floor and personal items covered and protected. We are already on their calendar for our master bathroom and bedroom remodel, and I wouldnt hire anyone else. Thanks Jim and ALL!!
