I was towed by a different local shop after my accident so I cant speak to that part of the experience (you are mostly dealing with insurance at that point anyway). For whatever reason that shop didnt want to take on the work so I ended up going to C&R. My car came out looking even better than it did before the crash! They were very professional and addressed the minor issues I had after picking it up quickly. Highly recommend their services!

Well a few year back, I had a previous car that was in a hit and run, they reasonably fixed it in 2 weeks and made my car look brand new. I appreciated their work in short notice and didnt have no problems.Now, I have a new car and broke my side mirror and took it straight to them to get an estimate on how much to get it fixed. The guy that looked at it was very nonchalant like he didnt care for it. They never said anything about it and didnt send nothing to my insurance either. It took for me to go to a different auto body shop to find out it was $600 job. So Im guessing they only handle higher profitable fixes, and waste your time if its nothing they can make money off of.They do really good work, if they do anything. But if they dont make money off it you will waste your time. Im very disappointed!

Claudio took care of me from the start. i was in a fender bender and Claudio and his crew save me thousands compared to another shop. My car was fixed in less time that quoted. i cant thank Claudio and his team enough.

C & R saved us during a snowstorm after we wrecked our car and was stranded. We initially called our roadside assistance provider just to learn they wont help in bad weather. After calling C & R for a tow they made it there in less than 15 minutes and was so helpful with the whole process. Even drove across town to drop us off at the rental car place. Would totally recommend, its important to support local businesses that support you.

YOUNG DRIVERS BEWARE!!!! If I could give this company zero stars I would. I was in a car accident recently and during the accident the man came from behind me stating it was time to clear the intersection and gave me his business card. Told me and my passenger it was free towing due to small distance. Asked for AAA to move my vehicle to new location they requested $325 on the night of the accident. The next day I am told I owe $750 due to a $325 towing fee with rediculous add ons and a $65 storage fee when my vehicle had been in their shop for 12 hours. They pray on young people thinking their parents pay for their insurance.

This isn’t a normal review as I didn’t actually receive any services from this company. I had a T-bone collision tonight where the other driver did not yield to me when I had the right of way. Him and another random guy were screaming at me while I tried to de-escalate the situation. C&Rs tow truck arrived before any emergency responders did.I believe the driver’s name was Damion. I got sick of getting screamed at by these dudes and started getting seriously heated... and Damion ended up calming me down and told me that everything would be fine, and that I most likely wouldn’t be at fault. Keep in mind that emergency services/law enforcement did nothing to keep these guys from yelling at me. EMS only paid attention to the other driver. From what I remember Damion was the only one who asked if I was feeling okay. Even though I declined service, he told me exactly what I’d need to do to get the help I need and that my car was driveable.Having employees that genuinely care to stay and comfort customers/clients even after they realize they’re not going to make money off of you says something about the integrity of this company and it’s employees, and I am extremely grateful for them.

An employee driving a company vehicle was driving erratically on the evening of August 11th, between 6:30 and 7 on and around S Negley Avenue. This employee was cutting off other drivers, almost hitting pedestrians in the crosswalk, and cutting through the gas station to avoid the light. This employee was also using inappropriate language and gestures to other drives if they were in the way. This is extremely dangerous and utterly inappropriate for an employee to do in a company car. I will not be using this companies towing or any other services after seeing the actions of this employee. I sincerely hope this is handled, and the driving is adjusted to protect the well being of others on the road.

Had a great experience with c&r from the time my car was towed to completion. C&r was on the scene much sooner then police and the driver comforted me and my 6 month old son and offered Gatorade and water while we waited. Great rates, prompt service, absolutely recommend.

Another place in town wanted to charge me ~$1500 to replace a bumper on my Tesla Model 3. C&R was able to REPAIR it for WAY CHEAPER - and its perfect. These guys are the best around. Claudio is an honest hard worker and will make sure youre satisfied. Ive had him work on two different cars in the past few years and I will never go anywhere else for body work.

C&R Collision went above and beyond to repair my vehicle when even my own insurance company was less than helpful or speedy. They were 100% honest from the start and explained everything clearly and were perfect in communicating throughout the repair and return of my car. The work they did was exceptional and they returned my car in better condition than it had been prior to the accident, even washing and waxing it. They also did all of this very quickly to help me out since I was out of pocket for my rental car during the repair. I could not have asked for more given the circumstances and they deserved to be recognized for their efforts.

Hard sell, but so far theyve backed up what theyve told meIve been in two accidents since December in Pittsburghs east end and called them both into the police. Both times C&R Collision II has magically appeared on the scene before the responding officers. They do give you a hard sell, but so far what theyve told me has come true.In the first instance, my car was total loss. Thats what the C&R team predicted at the site based on damage, car age, and mileage. They told me the other driver was at fault and that their liability insurance would cover any of their fees and I would get some $ for my car. That all came to pass. That time, they offered to give me and my groceries a ride home (which I gladly accepted).The second time was yesterday, a much smaller accident in the dreaded east end shopping center parking lot. I learned that PA police do not file accident reports unless someone is injured or a vehicle is deemed to be un-drivable. They also dont file reports in private lots, but I appreciated the officers help on the scene, making sure we got all the info exchanged and calmly walking us through the states liberal definition of drivable.This time they told me they worked with my insurer regularly (State Farm) and that there would be no towing fees or storage fees. Today when I went to file the claim, because they had my car, I couldnt use State Farms pocket estimate app. State Farm said they could send someone to assess the damage in 3-5 days since my car was at a shop and in my view, unsafe to drive.I dont know if it was a coincidence or if its down to C&Rs relationship with the local State Farm claims investigators, but in did not take 3-5 business days, it took only a few hours to get the assessment. I have a $1000 collision deductible and Sate Farm is sending me a voucher for $1,850, so I think the total for the work is around $2,850. I dont know if thats a good price, but Im guessing Id be over my deductible anywhere. The important thing for me is that their rates are acceptable to State Farm so I dont have to have my car moved.Like other people have said, I wouldnt let them take your car unless you are comfortable letting them do the work (since youll get towing & storage fees if they dont do the work) and have COLLISION insurance. Liability insurance only pays for damages you caused to other car. If you dont have collision insurance -- maybe it makes sense to shop around.

These People are THIEVES. They told me many times that there would be no charge to tow my car after an accident. They told me that they could not take it to my mechanic because it was after hours and its a liability for them. I told them that I didnt want to have to pay two time for towing services and he promised me there would be no charge. He then told me all the perks that I would get if I had his shop do the work on my car and I considered it but in the end decided I wanted my mechanic to do the work. Since he wouldnt take it to my Mechanic that night I called in the morning and told them to take it. They did and when he got there he charged my Mechanic $700 for two tows. each tow was less the 2 miles. They lie and try to manipulate you into giving them the business and having them do the work. They claim to be a Better Business Bureau member and all of this great stuff. They are not on BBB. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES.

Absolutely 5-Star work and service. I will recommend C&R to everyone and anyone who ever requires body work. This is a top notch auto body shop.

Went in to fix scratches on my bumper and when i left with my car the next day there was no trace of anything left. I was a little sceptical initially because of the previous reviews but i was totally suprised by the quality of work and the timeliness. They also quoted lower than others for the fix. Also cleaned up my car inside and out without charging extra for it. Will totally take my car again for any repairs in the future.

I dont care what the tow truck driver did, the body shop service is Top of the Line, 2 front fenders and a bumper, car looks brand new, going to get estimates on some smaller scratches and dents in the back, Best Estimate in the city and Excellent work. COMPARE RATES BEFORE AGREEING TO ANYTHING AND DO NOT GET JIPPED ON THE TOWING FEES. The towing guy that picked me up after my accident seemed like a great guy and spoke of their services with confidence and reassurance. However, when I got to the actual shop, the people that were running the desk did not seem to care at all. Dont think they even looked at my car before giving me an estimate of $2500 for dent in the front driver side and a questionable wheel mounting. Thought that was OK, whatever they have their rates so Ill look elsewhere before making a decision. Decided to take it elsewhere the next day and came back to pick it up and they wanted $300 for towing and storage. Brought it down to $180 after I basically said try again. Shouldnt have been more than $50 for towing tbh.Tldr; do your research on rates before having anything done here.

Came to C&R II per a friends recommendation. Owner was nice, service was prompt, and the work was excellent as promised. Will use them again!
