Went here 2 years ago. April was a great therapist. The rest of the therapist were terrible. Owner is rude. Dr. P was very nice. Wouldn’t recommend to some.

Overall disappointed. The office staff are friendly enough. The place was easy to get too. The therapist I saw was alright but never really seemed to want to get into more serious talking points. Wasnt therapeutic past visit Three. Main problem is with the Psychiatrist. Firstly he only works out of the office there one day. He is old fashioned. Hard of hearing and didnt seem to understand anything I said in the very short 10 min one and only visit I had with him. He made inappropriate unrelated comments and left me feeling shocked and disheartened. Gave me a script for a medication that wasnt something to start off with and for a issue I do not have. Was told he Gives that out a lot I instantly knew it wasnt going to work out. Its hard enough to reach out to find help and mental health is something serious and requires detailed care to address. If they get a new Doctor I might try them again, But for the time being Id suggest trying another place if you need more than just a casual therapy session.Oh and they only allow you to get the medications from their preferred pharmacy. Not sure why but that didnt sit right with me.

Ive been treating here for about a year and I love it. Ive seen two of the therapists and Dr. Placci. The office is nice and really quite convenient. Its on the bus line and has plenty of parking. The two therapists Ive seen have been great. Theyre kind and supportive but also funny, which I find makes therapy easier. Im new to medication and Dr. Placci has been great, letting me go at my own pace and getting me off of things that I dont like. Its been a challenge, but hes been very patient.Overall, its been a really great experience.

Solutions West LLC is a great alternative to the typical general practitioner that obtained an eight hour certificate to pretend theyre interested in helping those battling addiction but they are not without their issues. I attended sessions with two separate counselors throughout my time with them, and it was very helpful in the beginning, but they place a lot of emphasis on being different than your standard buprenorphine clinic while concealing the fact that they really arent much different at all. I knew from the beginning it was their policy to not remain on medication for more than 12-18 months but sometimes it JUST TAKES LONGER. In 2.5 years, I missed not one appointment without properly cancelling (perhaps a total of 4 out of damn near 100 appointments and thousands in insurance claims and copays/coinsurance) and the first time I miss an appointment, the day before Thanksgiving, I am discharged with a letter in the mail. I was/am almost completely off of my medication but I was still required to come to counseling and see the psychiatrist every two weeks while only receiving a new prescription once per month. Im not sure about anyone else out there but that seems a lot like a ploy to take money while not really providing any service, at least when it comes to the doctor visits. Not to mention, after these two and a half years, it became such a problem to simply come in and talk about my day or week rather than my feelings, that I was basically accused of not taking the process seriously. They knew I had plenty going on in my life (full-time school/a 24x7 real job/a 3 year old son) that missing one appointment should not have been such a detrimental act on my part but turns out, this was not true. Sure, perhaps this will be motivation to finish my journey on Suboxone but what if it wasnt. What if I truly depended on attending my appointments, when able, in order to stay clean. I think it was very poor practice for them to have been so dismissive of the situation...last minute cancellations happen! I mean half the time Id text my counselor stating I wasnt going to make it, I wouldnt get a response back for 2 or more days. Apparently handling it that way on their part is acceptable but not on the paying customers part. Regardless of how things ended, Dr. Placci is a great doctor and very nice guy and I would not discourage anyone from giving SWLLC a try, just be aware that they may not be all that willing to work things out in the end.

Everyone is very nice, expect for whom I assume is the office manager or owner. Regardless, its because of her Im finding a new place.

The hour counseling sessions for my son turned into 15 minute sessions. There didnt seem to be a plan or progress. When I asked about the short sessions, they blamed my son and transitioned us out of the practice. Prior to that they seemed quite content to continue taking our money. I dont understand why you can only purchase prescriptions from their pharmacy--it was more expensive.

I missed a few sessions due to deep depression and got one text asking if I was coming in. No one bothered to call or follow up to see if I was ok then I just get a letter in the mail saying I’m discharged from the practice which was enough to make me want to kill myself when I was already feeling down so thanks so much for the support
