Couldn’t be less helpful. They just sit there silently and if you prompt them to respond, they are terse and disengaged. You’re literally better off talking to a wall. I’ve had a number of crises and called them in desperation, and it’s never helped. If you think you’re feeling isolated now, don’t bother calling them. It will just make it worse for you.

Horrible, horrible place. I was here back in February 2020 and I’m just getting around to writing this review. I was taken to Forbes hospital suffering from a mental breakdown and was told by the psych doctor that it might have been too intense for me and my situation and could have made matters worse. So they got me a taxi to Resolve which I found quite odd for the simple fact I live in Westmoreland county. They had no advice, didn’t help, and told me if I wanted to stay I had to sleep on the floor. The only reason I stayed is because it was so late and I was so exhausted. I wish I hadn’t!!!!! The next morning I was sleeping with my wallet right next to me and someone had the audacity to steal $600 right out of my wallet ( I had cashed my check the day before which is the only reason I had this kind of money on me). Security should have locked it up. I was not in my right state of mind. When I approached one of the workers about someone stealing my money they said there was nothing they could do. They couldn’t search anyone, there are no cameras. WHAT KIND OF PLACE IS THIS???? I had to go out of my way and call the police MYSELF and file a report. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

The workers are HORRIBLE. Jen is a supervisor who just talks to the staff, along with Alex. (while theyre ignoring requests). They do not care at all about what happens to the people under their care. They separated a mother and her son (he was mentally handicapped) promised to find him shelter after his mother was moved. And they kicked this poor man out with no where to go. He was crying outside for hours. They ignore elderly people who are sick and in need of assistance. They dont work at all, especially the night staff. All they do is sit around talking. Literally non stop just talking and they will get irritated or reffer you out with no help if you interrupt them. This place should genuinely be shut down for maltreatment and abuse of the elderly. On top of denying food due to lack of resources while ordering pizza and eating in front of clients

Resolve is an amazing place. You have to be open to getting help and listen to staff and rules of the establishment. Make sure you talk to and work with staff and they will do everything in their power to help you get better and resolve any situation or crisis which you are going through. Remember that you are the one who will be empowered to make your life better. Its hard work but totally worth it. I never imagined that i could be this happy or fix myself like this. Removing toxic people, getting over drugs or abuse, therapy, medication, resources its all here to help YOU!! Be the best you that you can be. I wish I had before and after photos for everyone. Their mobile team lied to me. They told me if I followed them to the hospital, I would not be admitted, and I would be able to talk to a doctor right away. That was all a lie. I was admitted for 3 days, and I wasnt allowed to talk to a doctor until the next morning. I have filed multiple complaints. They have done nothing. According to their director, Dr. Liz Sysak, because the mobile team omitted their lying from their report, resolve will do nothing about the incident.

I’m absolutely shocked. The first time I came here was for myself and I left out of fear and being uncomfortable with the way the staff treated me.This time, my friend called beforehand and was told she was welcomed. She called again to double check that there would be space for her. The woman on the phone told her she wouldn’t be able to seek treatment there, as she lives out of county. That’s interesting. They didn’t care which county I lived in when I stayed. They refused my friend a bed, although she was assured a room by the supervisor on the phone (she called again to make sure she could seek treatment) My friend began to cry, and we were told to leave the area. What kind of crisis center kicks people out during a crisis?

Whatever happened to compassion?I understand that they are not a homeless shelter. However, they say you can stay up to 72 hours (three days/nights) and they took issue to it on day 2.Thank God I was able to find somewhere else stable to stay. They actually Resolve your problems with housing, transportation, food, and clothing.ALSO FORGET Alegheny Link unless you are a Vetran!!! Re:solve is pretty much set up as a referal to Intensive Outpatient Treatment (aka IOP) or Residential Drug and Alcohol Treatment. They really dont even want to give you a bus pass if they can avoid it, but if you sign up for treatment they will call you a cab, and find you housing.Just do the math. Treatment is great and it works, but it is not the answer to every single crisis...???Harvard university actually did a study and found that lack of upward mobility has had just as much as an impact on blight in cities as drugs and alcohol. Treatment is like putting a bandaid on a bullet wound. You want to really change peoples lives? Give them a path to homeownership, an edication, a business, a career as well as drug and alcohol treatment!!! PLUS lets treat addiction as what it Is a chronic relapsing brain disease which can be treated medicaly. Vivitrol, Rivia and Naltreone can prevent people from using. THIS IS A MEDICAL ISSUE PERIOD THE END. Whats next? Why not put these same people to work rehabing adandonded buildings, eliminating blight, and rejuvenating communities? Figure out who is getting rich by keeping things the way they are and you will have your answers. Just remember to stay wide awake.Wow the help portal that you send me to your comment is really easy to use how did you make it so easy I mean wow its a graphical user interface how did you make it so confusing that you cant even figure out how to say hello

Ok i have been using the resolve network since i was 15 years old. Posting this review now i am 27. Alot has changed about their program in 12 years. It was a very good program when it first started but it has gone downhill significantly. I have had 10 really horrible experiences in a row trying to contact them for help recently. From mobile teams being passive aggressive about my situation to my face while im hysterical to people on the phone being severely rude and invalidating to someone in a crisis and trying to push their personal beliefs on me. I wanted to attempt suicide a few months ago and i had called them while i was walking to the bridge to jump. The first woman on the phone told me this wasnt the place to call for that and tried to give me the suicide hotline number which i told her i had no way to copy it down im walking down the street to kill myself right now i dont have a pen. Which she then said well thats all i can do for you. Which i was shocked to hear from a CRISIS LINE. I hung up and called back and got another woman i had a hard time understanding because she had a heavy foreign accent and she too tried to just give me the suicide hotline number which i told her the same thing i told the other woman but this woman instead didnt say anything and put me on hold. The call was answered by a man and i explained what was going on and how i had to call twice and both times they told me this wasnt the number for this. The man seemed very upset and talked me back to my home where he had me put my mother on the phone but did not inform me he had dispatched police units. 5 POLICE VEHICLES SWARM MY FRONT DOOR. I have never been arrested or rode in a police vehicle until this night. It was not a good experience and honestly the police officers helped me more that night then resolve has in the past 5 years. I would not recommend these services to absolutely anyone. As someone who struggles with mental illness and this service being broadcasted every where in my ongoing mental health treatment, i am appalled by the people who work for them both call center and mobile units. Most of them should not be working a job like this at all. I have had 2 good mobile teams in the past 5 years. Everyone on the phone line is horrible and some of the mobile teams take it as entertainment. Dont waste your time with this program or crisis line. Next time ill honestly call 911 and have them dispatch some police because i recieved more compassion from police officers during my crisis then anyone at resolve.

Ive had mixed reactions from them, ranging from the are you okay, well do anything to help sweetie to find something else to do and shut up. It really depends on whos working and if they actually give a rats ass about you. Ive had a mobile team come to my house once and they were kinda a joke, nice people, but they didnt know what they were doing. Ive stayed at their center overnight before and its either full of homeless people pretending to be mentally ill so they can have a room or people that you think will stab you when youre alone.Really I would call for yourself and find out if they can help or not. It just really depends on the situation and the person you get. Would not recommend their inpatient though, its awful.

A review for the facility only- the staff were incredibly rude, belittling, and unhelpful. Several of them raised their voice to me, three in total told me that they couldnt help me. Incredibly disorganized and even rowdy staff, very loud. I came in for someone to sit with me while I completed disability paperwork, I have had alot of trouble focusing from the weight of my mental illness. They said it wasnt their job to do that, that i should turn to the social security office or find an attorney to help. I specified that figuring out the papers wasnt the problem, but the mental illness around them that I needed aid with. They kept steering the topic away from the paperwork. They were uninterested in helping, were frustrated with me. I tried to leave and they wouldnt let me. I went in hopeful for help and was sobbing just a few minutes into the building from the treatment. I was unsure if I could keep myself alive on my long commute home from the crazy making experience. They said they were getting me a taxi home to save me the trouble of paying for an uber. They made me wait for another 20 minutes as I frequently asked if everything was alright. They made up excuses that didnt sound right. So I got up to leave and get my bag from the office. They confiscated my bag so that I couldnt leave. But they lied to me, they hadnt called a taxi and instead the police. They decided to call the cops to take me to the hospital because I had been so upset. I rode in a locked police vehicle behind a safety division to keep me away from the officer, or wasnt even a regular car, but one that is used for criminals. Not an ambulance which is usually prorocal for psychiatric issues. At the hospital the nurses were confused why I was there. I was released and had to find my way home on my own from wherever I was taken.A horribly traumatic experience and emotionally abusive situation. Im appalled at how they escalated the issue. This facility shouldnt be operating.I would reccomend checking in for a IOP through the western psych programs. These are daily visits to a group therapy setting. It gave me the stability I needed to get my life back in track.
