Shima is the quintessential host. She was very responsive to every inquiry and request. She is committed to each guest having a comfortable, safe and relaxing stay. The apt.we rented was in a lovely area with a wonderful porch that we enjoyed immensely in the warm weather. This is our go-to spot in Pittsburgh.

I had the great pleasure of partnering with doSH while relocating to the Pittsburgh area. The owners, Shima and Don, were very welcoming and made every effort to make my short stay as comfortable as possible. The furnished Studio I stayed in was very clean and well kept, and had everything I needed so I didnt need to bring much with me other than food and clothes. The Studio was quiet and conveniently located. The Owners also communicated regularly and were always willing to answer any questions I had.

Very understanding, cooperative, helpful, kind, and supportive. Hope to be able to stay there again very soon.

My wife and I signed a short term lease with doSh in the summer of 2019, while we explored potential places to live in the Pittsburgh area. First of all, Donny & Shima couldn’t be more welcoming, attentive, and gracious. The property was exceptionally decorated, spacious, well equipped, located in great place for local shops and restaurants, and easy bus transport. The rental process was streamlined and Shima was able to answer any questions prior to our stay. Our needs were definitively met during our stay and the transition to Pittsburgh was much easier than we imagined. A hard to find Gem in the heart of Pittsburg. A modern, elegant place like this is hard to come by, particularly in an older city such as Pitt.

I have rented a house from doSH for 12 months with my husband (February 2014-January 2015). Overall, our experience was wonderful and I only have praise for Don and Shima and the wonderful house they leased us. Their attentive service throughout the leasing period made the whole experience a joy.The location is unbeatable. It’s only a couple of blocks from the shops on Walnut Street, and walking distance to Giant Eagle, Wholefoods, Target, Trader Joe’s and Aldi. It is also within a 5 minute walk of a large number of bus routes, including to Squirrel Hill, Oakland, Waterfront, Southside Works and the express bus lane into the city. I have two young children and there is plenty to do within a short walk or a short bus trip.The house itself is beautifully furnished and is a lovely place for entertaining. It includes some unique artwork that people always comment on when they visit. The backyard is big enough to kick around a ball or host a barbeque. The kitchen has a fantastic oven and stove top and has certainly allowed me to cook with flair. There is more than ample cupboard space to keep the kitchen well-organised. Two of the bedrooms are especially large and the other two are average sized and perfect for a family. Everything else in the house works well and apart from some disparities in heating and cooling between upstairs and downstairs, which you would expect in a large house like this, I couldn’t fault it. I should add a caveat that we had a good portion of our household goods (such as kitchen equipment) shipped to us so we didn’t just live with what was provided. I doubt the provisions would be enough for anyone staying longer-term, but as we didn’t try (and moved a lot of their things aside so we didn’t confuse the two), I couldn’t say for sure either way.Don and Shima as Landlords have been amazingly responsive. When we raised anything, even if we told them it wasn’t urgent, they would be around to fix it within 24 hours. If something needed to be ordered we got continuous updates about the progress. When the odd urgent issue came up Don was there straight away to take action. They always ensured our paths were cleared of snow, garden maintained and house cleaned regularly and even made some improvements to the property throughout our tenancy. We loved dealing with Don and Shima as they were so friendly, respectful and they always followed through with what they said they would do. Don would even stop to speak to our excited 3-year-old who wanted to ‘fix’ things alongside Don, which is an example of how they made us feel like valued clients and always went the extra mile. Renting from them was trouble-free and I have no hesitation in recommending them or this house to anyone who wants a care-free leasing experience.
