When I got my pup, my daughter recommended VCA to me.I am so glad I followed her advice! They are the most wonderful people!! They are caring and very responsive to your questions and concerns. The app is awesome and helps me track his puppy appointments. The biggest plus is that Buddy loves going there! Awesome people, awesome place!

They are wonderful there, I take my birds there all the time and my green check conure last year had a broken foot and they fixed him right up! Very kind and informative Dr Morrison shes the best for birds! But they have so many awesome vets there all in so one of the best vets in my opinion. Recently my dog sat on my best friends bird Pep, shes a pearl cockatiel, so we took her there and shes getting better already. Such an awesome place!

I have nothing but good things to say about our vet. Things have been tough this year. Curb side, long wait times, low availability for appointments, etc. But they have still done everything they can to take care of our puppy in her first year of life. They check in via text after sick appointments and are always responsive when I call in with questions. I always receive an answer from the vet when they pass along messages for me. They run the tests needed for an accurate diagnosis, and listen intently to everything I say. They pick up on my dog’s behavior and listen to her as well. And lastly, their extended hours are a god send. It always seems we need a vet on evenings and weekends, so knowing I can call them gives me so much peace of mind. As a first time dog owner, I am grateful to have these professionals taking care of my girl. We recently moved and while we sometimes have to go to another vet closer to us, we still try to go to out of our way to take her to VCA Met Vet West if we can make it work with our schedules.

I took my kittens to VCA Met Vet West to get them established with a Vet. I was pleasantly surprised to find a clean, professional, and caring environment. The medical staff was knowledgeable and provided me with much needed information to make sure my kitties were healthy.

My family as been taking our pets to different VCA locations, depending on where we live at the time, for probably about 20 years and I will never go to another vet. I have been to other ones due to various circumstances and they just dont compare to the quality that VCA offers. I am so grateful that VCA has locations all over the country because I know that no matter where my life takes me I will still be able to take my babies to VCA.

My Rabbit had a Neorological issue going on and treatment was not working, she got worse. I scrambled trying to find a VETINARIAN that would Euthanize my Rabbit, because of the suffering she was going through. I called Met Vet and they told me to bring her right in and gave me 3 different times to choose from. Dr. PIETRZAK stepped up and examined her and confirmed that Euthanize was the right thing to do. Thank you guys so much, you all where so very professional, and very nice. Its nice to know you have 2 Exotic Pet VETINARIANS there.They are so hard to find.

MetVet is Awesome!! With 3 dogs, we are there frequently, and unfortunately for some issues (puppy keeps eating stuff when shouldnt --> bowel obstructions). They love and care for our dogs like we do!

First of all, I would love to thank Dr. Pietrzak and all of the other technicians, nurses, and veterinarians at Met Vet. All of the staff members are super kind and sympathetic to everyone. Every single worker at this facility is determined to helping everyone and every animal they encounter. From past experiences with my dog, Wrangler, all of the staff members are quick and attentive to care for your pets. The nurses and technicians are quick at checking you in and out of the hospital and the veterinarians always talk you through all of the options available to care for your pet. I really appreciate all of the effort that every worker puts into their job. I definetly reccomend this vet for your pets!

Polite and professional staff, with emergency facilities. Able to prescribe food and meds for your furry friends. The only place I take my pets. Just be sure to call in for an appointment. They fill up fast. I believe they have a dog groomer too. Ask first.

This pet hospital was wonderful when my dog had to be put to sleep. They were very professional, caring, and made what we had to go through much easier.

Today they saved our dog Keeta’s life after she was misdiagnosed by another vet and recommended to be put to sleep. VCA Met Vet West diagnosed her accurately and saved her life. I will forever be grateful to them. Thank you from the bottom of me and my family’s hearts...

Have taken hamsters, cats, and dogs here. The team is always there for questions and concerns, getting back to me in a timely manner if they need to consult the doctor. The pup loves them, and they help take good care of him.

Excellent pet care. After my dog had gotten sick I went to my previous vet and they turned me away telling me they basically werent going to help. Met Vet welcomed me with open arms even with a last minute appointment. They are always there for me when I need them and they are always happy to help. I highly recommend them. They take the best care of my pets. Not only is their vet care side amazing but the groomer they have is amazing as well. 100% recommend.

My family has used Met Vet for at least 10 years. They have a genuine love for animals and the families that love them. They have treated my dogs and cats with love and care throughout the years.

Very pleased with everything that was done to help my ferret. I expected the worst for him and the staff made me feel better as soon as I walked in. The medical director is great. Takes forever to check out after visit is complete. The wait can all be long to see the vet. I have it 4 stars because at the end of the day the most important thing is the care they provide. They do provide great care for animals.

Just wondering if it’s true or if the girl at the front desk is just lazy and lying? She says they are not taking new clients right now, which I’ve never heard of any place doing before.

We had the best experience here. They diagnosed our dog, Tad with a heart condition earlier this year. We brought him home with medication and hoped for the best. We didn’t know what his future held and he passed away at home on Christmas Eve. My husband and kids took him in to be cremated and from the first phone call we made they were caring and compassionate. Their bereavement coordinator called to check on us a few times. We truly felt like they cared about us and our precious Tad. I highly recommend them for any veterinarian needs and appreciate how well they treated us.

They were very compassionate as we had to have our cat put to sleep. Would highly recommend them. We called them first thing on a Sunday morning and they were able to see us right away.

Appointment at 11 so I arrive and check in at 10:30. They said they will be right out. They dont call me until 11:30 and say they will be right out, again. It was noon before they grabbed my pup.The staff was nice and apologetic at least.

Great doctors

I gave 4 stars only because we have had 2 visits. But up to this point this facility is a dream come true. The doctor explained the situation clearly, gave us the estimate before any procedure(s) were done, and (this has been my biggest complaint with my previous vet) I wasn’t asked what I wanted them to do! The support clinicians are friendly and attentive to my fir-child and made over him like he was special -which he is to us. We were highly pleased and impressed.

They may be part of a corporation but the staff genuinely care about the well being of my pets and treat them as if they were their own. I have taken 4 dogs and 4 cats there. I go there regularly and I highly recommend them.

Everyone here was very sweet, soft spoken and understanding. Plus, they have their doctors in on FRIDAYS! (Since so few clinics are even open on Fridays, as we frustratingly came to find out...) I am so happy we came here to help our fur baby! Compared to other Emergency clinics we either tried or spoke with, the rates here are definitely on the lower end.. Should anyone ask me where to go in the future, Ill send them here. Thank you again for helping our Karma Kitty. ❤

This is not my normal vet but I called on a Saturday when my vet was closed and was blown away by the excellent service! I suspected my puppy to have kennel cough and the woman that answered the phone was very polite and super helpful!!! Thank you for caring for my puppy as your own even though I’m not a client. 😁🐾 This is now my emergency vet if either of my two dogs ever need one.

I had a very rude receptionist that when i called, she didnt want to schedule me for what i was requesting. then, finally saying ok.and not really to my surprise, when i showed up for my appointment she didnt schedule as i asked.They like to unnecessarily take your money- testing, vaccines, exams, etc. my experience with this location is not good. I do not recommend.

This place does not care about animals. They will try to sell you on the care club program. Do not take it. I had an emergency with my puppy and was told they are unable to take him on that day and that I should look for a different vet. I asked them if a dog swallowed something poisonous and was on the care club program, would they take it? The lady said unfortunately, we would turn the dog away.

We took a furry friend there to say goodbye. The staff was unbelievably friendly and kind and soft spoken and helpful...they were the exact tone that we needed in a difficult time. We didnt need to see the Dr(to avoid paying a Dr. Fee) and yet she STILL came in and offered her sympathies. Go here. Dunno how much they cost for anything else, but they were perfect.

My dog was having issues with diarrhea and the medicine and cafe they gave him stopped it almost immediately. It is not cheap! But having the right care for you pets is worth every dollar

I had to make the difficult decision to euthanize a beloved pet of 18 years. Every single staff member I encountered at this faculty was extremely kind, caring, apologetic, and most of all compassionate. Thank you to your entire staff.

The staff who answer the phones are not pleasant or helpful. When I need help, you dont have anyone to talk to. You have to schedule an emergency visit just to pay them money. My previous dog died because of that policy. I do not recommend this vet unless you have no problems with your pet.

So they were awesome when it was time to take my money. Fairly prompt, responsive, etc. A couple weeks and $8,000 later, it was time for a refill. EVERY time I called, they would ask what the medicine was. ISNT IT IN THE RECORDS??? But that’s not even it. When I called on Memorial Day weekend, (it was a Saturday), they told me that was fine and they would get back to me with the script since they were “slammed.” Never heard from them, but didn’t think much of it. Sunday-same thing. Monday-same thing. At that point my dying cat had missed 16 pills, because I needed a script from a doctor in order to get them. I tried to find a local vet but they were all closed, and they would’ve needed the paperwork anyways which VCA Met vet had. I even went to rite-aid and THEY called and pleaded for the medicine, and Met Vet just gave them the run-around too. THEN FINALLY, they said I would have to bring the cat in on TUESDAY to get approved for the medicine, WHICH THEY DIDNT MENTION EVER EVERY OTHER TIME I WOULD CALL-and I had to work that day. Someone has to pay for the $8,000 bill. At that point I got ahold of my local vet since Memorial Day was over. Met vet said they had already given them the paperwork but my vet said they didn’t (shocker) and that was another hassle to get them to do that. My poor kitty was suffering without his medicine the entire time, and Met vet didn’t care at all.DONT GO HERE!!!!!!!!

We had to put our dog down a few days ago. not only were the vets incredibly kind and offered to have a complimentary clay paw made. we were given pins in her honor and they had someone call us a few days later to make sure we were alright. the place itself was clean and the vets were incredibly kind to both us and our dog in her last moments.

There are next to no vets that take exotics in the area. here, they are wonderful with my python! she has had respiratory infections in the past, and they showed me how to administer the medicine properly and it brought her back to health both times.

Just tried to pick up a prescription at 7:20pm, but couldnt because they decided to all leave early. My my pet doesnt get his meds to night. But the guy that answered the intercom said dont worry, we will be open 8 to 8 tomorrow!! Doesnt help me now!! But normally i would give them a 5 stars. Very caring with my animals

This place was our cats vet. At 15 years young his little body was ready to go and we made the dreaded call. Neither me or my husband had ever been through this before and the team was beyond empathetic and kind. They informed us of all of our options and what to expect which was helpful. They gave us as much time with our boy to say goodbye before and after he was gone. Was the worst days of our lives but they did everything they could to ease us through. Forever grateful.

Although they were very nice and the facility is clean, I was emensely disappointed. My cat had an infected tonsil the size of a human adult thumb and they missed it with 2 separate exams! I had to go to our local vet who found it immediately and removed it.After the first visit at VCA, we were sent home with them thinking it was either periodontal or perhaps kitty was biting her paws. Meanwhile, they said that her teeth were not that bad. That evening the cat was bleeding again from her mouth! I discovered the tonsil myself, as she was trying to bite it off. We returned to VCA the next morning with this information, and they missed it again. They sent us off with a referral to the Camp Horne hospital.I would think routine visits may be OK at VCA, but I would not recommend this place.

A++++ the staff has helped me many times in emergency situations and ordinary care. They express real concern for your pet and their prices are competitive. No doubt about this review I recommend them 100% they are my best for life

I have so many words to describe VCA Met Vet, but I am mostly disappointed. We took our dog to Met Vet only because we could not get into our local vet right away and knew our dog was not feeling well. They told us our dog had cancer from a chest x-ray. They didnt know that we could hear them behind the door discussing our dog and their uncertainty of what they were looking at on the x-ray. It just so happens my husband has a medical background and he knew that without a biopsy cancer was not a diagnosis given from just an x-ray. They didnt know that we had already decided to take our dog somewhere else because of their own actions we couldnt trust that they knew what they were doing. The vet suggested we follow up with an oncologist. We asked for a copy of the x-rays and took our dog to our local vet the next day. She had pneumonia and needed an antibiotic. Only after our experience we started to hear the same story over and over. They charge you an extreme amount and misdiagnosis your animal. Met Vet charged us little under $500 and gave us an unnecessary scare and we declined the other recommended procedures that would of put the bill over $700. Our local vet charged us $55 to get her better. We love our dogs and would do anything for them. Now, if something happens, I will be patient and wait to get them into our local vet.

I brought my dog in for a emergency visit because he had a stick lodged between his teeth had he wouldnt let me touch it. The vet and techs handled him very professionally and removed the stick and had him back with me in 5 minutes. Very satisfied with the service provided

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We took our dog last week emergently with signs of vomiting, decreased appetite, weight loss and lethargy. We were charged $500 for blood work and urine and 21 days worth of medication for a UTI-an adult male dog. Our dog is so sick with lymphoma (we took him elsewhere) he wont even make it the 21 days-they tried to tell us the blood work was unremarkable, theres no way and our dog has deteriorated for 5 day living in pain and throwing up daily. I have NO problem with spending the money for the emergent convenience, however I guarantee we were lied to-Ive tried to call to get results but cant seem to get anyone to answer the phone after several calls.

Went in for a first visit. The staff and doctor were extremely friendly. Office is well laid out and the waiting room is spacious. As I was leaving a woman came in with a dog who couldnt stand. The staff immediately went to get a stretcher and assist getting the dog out of the vehicle. I thought that was absolutely awesome. Very glad I chose to bring my dog here.

The staff are all very nice and loving for the animals. Doctors are honest and wont give my pets anything they dont think they need, as well for recommendations are not shoved onto you. They show genuine care, I have not been disappointed by them at all.

Had such an incredible experience. My dog needed emergency stomach surgery. They were able to take her right away, I received pictures and text messages from the Dr. Herself knowing that my dog was in such great care. I was able to visit her whenever I wanted. A great facility with wonderful people. I highly recommend it.

Very caring, compassionate and patient. I had to put my 4 1/2 month old kitten to sleep because he had F.I.P. They didnt try to rush me out the door even after they closed for the night. I was so heart broken that I didnt realize it was past closing but noone said anything and let me take my time to say goodbye. R.I.P. sweet Milo 😢

This is a beautiful vet office with helpful staff and knowledgeable practitioners. This past trip they knew I had an urgent need for a post-surgical follow up and they took us that day...without charging an emergency surcharge. Thanks VCA Met Vet West!

I love VCA Animal Hospital. I trust them with all my heart to care for my fur baby. I brought my cat in for a check up and even after the appointment the vet texted me to make sure he was doing well. I really appreciate how much they care about your pets and you, fantastic place.

I absolutely love this Vet Hospital!! They were beyond kind and caring during the worst times in my life.....i had to put down 2 dogs down within months of each other.....one was 19 and the other was 12 years of age. Called when I was on my way with my Rabbit in GI Stasis. She told me they wouldnt see her because they closed soon. Had to drive to a vet an hour away, rabbit I had for 9 years didnt survive the trip. A simple fluid under the skin could of saved her life but I guess they wanted to go home instead.

Med Vet was great to us today. My wife and I had to take our 15 year old cat Shadow to be put to sleep today, as he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was clearly going down hill. The staff at Med Vet were extremely professional and empathetic and helped us through a very difficult experience. We miss Shadow greatly but I will always appreciate how the vet and staff at Med Vet treated us.

They were very caring and concerned on the phone and told us to bring him in.While we were there, everyone was very kind and concerned about his condition. The Vet took gentle care of our little guy. Luckily all turned out good and he has fully recovered.We love VCA Met Vet West!

Very kind but very expensiveOur dog is on his last days and its hard enough to keep up with regular bills. Knowing pets mean the world to us they upcharge and sell wish they could be lower prices. But kinda feels like a car dealer doc leaves room nurse walks in with prices and its not fair.

They have always taken great care of my pups and are very accommodating when they have needed unscheduled visits.

Overpriced and ignorant staff. Everytime I call them they have no answers except just bring your dog in and we can let the doctor take a look. They just want that entrance fee ($200 just to walk in the door). Always check your bill before they do the procedures, too. They did a C-section on my dog and the first estimate was $3000. Then after I told them that was ridiculous they came back with $2600 bill. I told them I wanted to see what all I was being charged for and after I looked over the bill they had added $1200 in unnecessary costs. I wouldnt take my dog there unless it was life or death.

I have taken my dog there twice when he was attacked, once last July 25, 2018 and then on July 1st 2019. Felt they were way more responsive last year. Both times emergency visits and dog required staples first time. Had about 8 puncture wounds around neck. One pretty sever that required staples. This year needed stitches in about 5 spots. Both times bill over $900.00. They charged for bloodwork but iI have no ideal why or have I seen any results from test. Seems unnecesary or at the very least provide me results and explanations
