I have had Allstate and worked with the Young Agency for over 10 years. Anytime we have had a question or concern they were quick to respond and provide answers. I have multiple homeowners policies, auto policies and an umbrella policy and pricing has always been competitive and rates have not adjusted. We recently got money back on our premium.

They raised our homeowners insurance without telling us, so we switched because we got a much better deal from another company. We canceled verbally and they insisted we send an email so we did.They didn’t cancel the policy and continued charging us. We went through corporate to get the policy canceled. Glad to be done with them.

No information on drivewise

I had an auto and rental policy through the Young Agency for almost 3 years. Although their rates were initially low, over time they continued increasing until they nearly doubled. None of this was related to my own driving-Ive never had an accident or traffic violation. I contacted them multiple time to try and lower my monthly costs, but they werent very helpful (taking off $5 a month, but doubling my deductible). The office is difficult to contact if you work normal business hours, and they rarely return your phone calls or emails. When I have gotten someone on the phone, they have been very rude and short with me. Calling Allstate does little to help as well, because they will just tell you to contact your local agent (ie The ones you couldnt get ahold of in the first place). So, they may initially give you a low rate, but dont expect it to stay that way.

What i like about my Allstate people is that they remind me to take care of my business so i dont have to pay more than i should.
