Very nice public course and a great rest point before creating the Whittier Narrows dam when traveling up the San Gabriel River bike path.Will be interesting to see the next few years as the Army Corps fix the dam… per Whittier Daily News 06/15/2021….“The proposed repair plan means holes five through eight will be closed beginning in September, and the course will be closed completely from October 2022 to 2027, Kaili Torres, senior management analyst for the city’s Parks and Recreation Department, told the City Council last week in a study session.”

For what it is, this par 3 course is a steal for the price. Are the greens well kept? No. Are the fairways tiny? Yes. But the course is beautiful, has water around it, and keeps things interesting by adding unique challenges to each hole. A great course to get a quick round in. And you can even get a cart if youre feeling super lazy. Oh yeah, and the food at the clubhouse is pretty great too.

Great fun little golf course, a lot of new people, slow pace, drunk people... Animal holes everywhere, walkers beware.

I love playing here, my local course. A bit challenging and fun to play always. My man Sean at the bar is a really cool guy, very nice and makes you feel welcomed. 10/10 service.

Been coming here with my late father since i was 4 and used to love coming here. Recently started returning after a few years break and this place has gone downhill. The new customer service is awful and seems to not even honor the proper fees with people on replays or driving range. Always random upcharges difficult with customers when simply resolutions are available. Will not recommend unless you just use gofnow and avoid the horrid service here.

Had some of the asada Nachos and friend had a hot dog with fries. They were good but didnt come out hot. Service was friendly.

Wow first time this weekend...Perfect for practice and accuracyI appreciated the smaller course (bad knee)We went 1 round but the GREAT Amazing customer service from Rudy and his staff were so welcoming even though they were busy. We left and came back for another round. Love the environment and energy!!!

Very well taking care of golf course this is my second favorite if you have extra money I recommend Whittier Narrows but this is a good place for starting out

Cant complain about the actual course. Only thing is when I went out was pretty crowded and they do not enforce masks. Most people there werent wearing a mask despite being crowded

Fun course with friendly service throughout. I appreciated the free coffee and donuts. A few brave squirrels around the practice putting green, so keep your snacks secured.

...had an unfortunate incident TODAY. Ordered food, was told server would FIND me. Never found me, asked for a REFUND. Was surprised to get the RUN-AROUND from a place i usually get excellent service from.I left messages with multiple managers (Rudy&Greg).Transaction occurred around 1pm. Neither got back to me. Still waiting for my refund.

Cycling with my team (SHARKS) often through this bike path(Mid Trail of San Gabriel river) gave me an opportunity to stop by @ the Pico Rivera Golf Club on the way back from Long Beach. Its Like an oasis, the greens are maintained with lakes on the golf course,I posted up and fueled up with a BBQ basket w/fries and a couple of Gatorades. While taking a couple of Picshots for Google maps, I had a lime margarita to compliment the end of my ride & the bar inside the Tavern was well kept & the bathrooms Were very clean & stocked. The bar had it all beers,mix drinks and great service. My lime margarita was excellent, a bit more on the Liquor side, but no complaining to that .Overall a MUST stop if youre into Golf.. also I must mention a nice patio w/ T.V., with tables and chairs overlooking the golf course .

This is not a golf course for hotshot players. If you enjoy playing golf, but are still learning the skills, this is a perfect course for you. Relaxed and low key atmosphere. Great rates. It does get crowded on weekends and certain hours, but you can make reservations ahead of time.

Super backed up and super slow. Seems the clubhouse just lets big groups play super slow. No golf marshal. Only played 4 holes within 2 hrs. This has now happened the last 2 times.

Lets not fool ourselves its a par 9 but having said that they have really taking care of it since the last time I played here about 5 years ago its looking really good not all the grass is in perfect shape but theyre coming along very nice the greens are in good shape just need more participation from the golfers in reparing divots but other than that its a fun course to play. Sunday early evening was wide open and only 10 bucks

Great experience for night golf. The lighting was fantastic and the course was in good shape. Although I understand the restaurant is no longer open.

First time golfing and enjoyed the course. Great for beginners or just to get outta the house and enjoy the day.

Just as I remember it from 42 years ago. Nice lit driving range and the best price for range balls. The executive par 29 nine hole course is lit for night golfing. An unchanged Southern California gem, since 1965. I very much enjoyed it

Its a great course to up your game on. Pretty well groomed and very challenging for fairly short yardaged 9-hole. Greens roll very well and have great courage to practice those breaking putts. Love this place, its my new home course 👍👍👍

Awesome staff. Greg Lake the head pro golfer actually takes the time and helps you understand the game. Entire staff and course is amazing.

This is my familys favored golf place, everyone are courteous, nice course and with a bar.

I bike the San Gabriel bike path frequently. My riding partner needed a restroom. We stopped here to use their restroom. I was expecting to get cold stares or remarks. It was just the opposite. The staff was very friendly, we were welcome to sit at one of the tables for a break and some of the golfers engaged in friendly conversation. Thank you PRGC!

A nice 9 hole course. They offer a junior instruction for 6 and older kids. Thats great.

Its ok, I went on. Saturday and every hole had a bottle of beer on the floor and the trash cans were full. They need to keep it clean a little

The fairways and greens need some work...need to post small signs next to the greens reminding golfers to repair ball marks on the greens.

Great 9 hole course. Driving range is always clean. If you are looking for a place for a banquet, they have a nice location.

Great course to learn and teach new golfers, I promise you this course will not only clear you mind, it will give you a good experience, there are two practice putting things, a driving range, and a 9 hole course.

Fun course and excellent service. The reason Im leaving a review is to warn players. The squirrels here are jerks. One little red one (might have been a new born), stole my score card off my bag on the 3rd hole. 2 holes later, a ugly grey squirrel stole my chili fritos. I dont have the money to feed some homeless squirrels. Lockup your snacks people.

Course is amazing even tho I played off the mats when I teed off, the fairways were outstanding. Bunkers were a little too ruff but with the rake you can fix that. Overall this place has a great driving range and lighting is okay to get buy with a round of golf. Love this place especially with the practice putting greens. Pro shop and bar are connected and I think it looks good for a small course. I recommend this course if you want to work on your irons and want to play at night. Great place to get some golfing time and still be able to use your driver.
