I applied for a position and Karen reached out about a week later. She asked me to take the assessment tests and was very pushy so I completed it the same day. She then scheduled a zoom interview and told me more about the position (HR Coordinator) and also mentioned that they were hiring a HR Recruiter for their office to which I said I was interested in.Fast forward to 2 weeks later and I haven’t heard anything so I called and left a voicemail. Instead of calling back I received a text and was told that the HR Coordinator role was not ready to start yet even though the last time we spoke it was set to start ASAP. I was also told that the HR Recruiter role was “put on hold”.A week later I get an email from a new recruiter (Valerie) trying to set me up with a different temp role without addressing the roles previously discussed then Karen emails me saying that the HR Recruiter role had been filled and “the decision was not easy!”. I was never kept in the loop with anything and she was never transparent with the process. She blamed the unprofessional culture on having changes to their team but never addressed why she lied and said the role was on hold while she was actually sourcing candidates.I’m convinced I never had a chance considering that the whole team has zero diversity and they filled the role for their office with a white woman. What a complete waste of time.

It was very tuff trying to raise 3 children with no other support. The jobs that were offered in that town were not really good paying jobs and found myself having to work 2-3 jobs to make ends meet, I had little time to be with my children at the time but one day, I thought of working in a big city, I said to myself, I am not working 2-3 jobs anymore, I am going to travel and work in Phoenix, AZ. That is where I found Accurate Placement. I checked them out and they provided me with a couple of assessment tests. l explained the type of job I was looking for, they asked if I was looking for a short or long term position. Which I did not understand at first, so, I tried the short term jobs, I worked with many companies here and there, then decided to take a long term position with the City of Phoenix. Those long term positions lasted anywhere from 6 months to 1 year sometimes a little more, thank god my positions were sometimes extended for longer periods of time. I am so happy, I chose Accurate Placement for my temp jobs, they are all awesome people to work with, they listen to your needs and find solutions. Anyone looking for a temporary position either short or long term, do not hesitate in checking them out. You will love them. Karen was not helpfully at all and I found her to be lazy in helping me, even if it was for a little bit. Not a good experience.
