The pre-screen takes a semesters worth of info just to maybe get called for a job, I had problems navigating through the portal and asked for assistance no one ever reached out for help. I went in person to try and remedy the situation but they kept being evasive.
Great staffing firm. They’ve gone above and beyond for me and I appreciate it more than I can put into words. I was just offered a fulltime position at my temp job and I could cry from happiness. This past year has been hard and I’m so glad I found All About People to help me through.
It’s great how open to communication the leadership staff is.
Shontay was super helpful and informative through the whole process! She was always very prompt with responses and addressed my concerns. I would recommend her for anyone looking to find a job through staffing.
I just started working with the agency and I already have an interview lined up for Monday. I’d say the results speak for themselves.
I have had a very positive experience working with Amy Smith at All About People. I have done several assignments for her over the last few months and they have all been enjoyable. In fact, they have been some of the best assignments I have been on as a temp. Amy is quite friendly, personable, and easy to work with. I am glad I found her and this agency, and look forward to more great assignments in the future.
AAP helped me stay afloat during the worst of the pandemic.
Very solid and professional recruiting firm. Completely honest and transparent about the fact that they represented both the company and myself. 100% happy with the work put forth on my behalf and have already recommended them to others in my field.
In general, I do not like to work with staffing firms and probably should have used my better judgment. The first recruiter I met at this agency was very pleasant (my sole reason for two stars and not just one), and then I met a second one who was the exact opposite of that. Not sure if that second recruiter was just having bad day (possible), but I do feel as though I was picked apart by this person. I do not necessarily need to involve any third-party firms in my career searches, as I have had great success in paving my own path. In fact, most of the jobs I have held have been secured through my own efforts. This firm seems to gravitate towards more entry-level/less experienced individuals, and I think that is why I was treated the way I was. I believe this second recruiter made unfounded assumptions about my job search and gave me no opportunity to truly state my case. I felt there was this air of I work here, so I already have a job, which means I am better than you. That attitude is just uncalled for. If you feel you cant help someone, there are much nicer ways to go about saying that! Its sad that some people do not know how to be nice, even if its just an act. I prefer fake nice over outright mean and condescending!
If you have no intentions on letting a person know on whether you received their email or not... then do not ask or tell the person to send you their resume. It looks uncaring and unprofessional on your part. And if you also have no intentions on helping anyone get a job but would prefer to nitpick at someones resume then do not call them back. Karen left me with a bad feeling after getting off the phone and after reading through the reviews here, I can definitely understand why Cassie, Lea, Stephanie, Shorty and Marisela left the comments they did here about this company. I know NEVER to reach out to this agency again much like Randstad and I hope all the people of this company who thinks they can talk to and treat people however way they want to get a nice taste of payback from the Most High. You reap what you sow and I can promise you that your rubbish will come back on you seven-fold.
This place was friendly enough but Amy Smith was a total disaster. I have no idea if she just had too to deal with or what... she always made smug remarks and then when my assignment ended, I asked if she could please talk to the employer but nope, never heard back from her. A yes or no would have been appreciated. Any time before that that I called she always sounded so annoyed. I dont want to make myself look heaven sent but I never said anything mean. I never raised my voice or was sarcastic.
DEFINITELY recommend Shontay to help whoever needs a job. She always responded really Quickly and always gave me the applications to the jobs she saw fit my resume. I appreciate everything she did for me in as little as a month. I am starting my new job with the state on Monday super excited. Thank you again Shontay. Hope you guys consider all about people, who are very professional and also Effie was very kind with helping me with payroll and the questions I had and didn’t hesitate to go into detail. Great location I felt very comfortable With the environment.
**2 YEAR UPDATE**After a few temporary assignments, Winnie found me a permanent position that I may have passed up on my own or never wouldve known about. She listened very carefully to what my passions and job interests were then pinpointed my strengths to make a great match. Ive been in my position for almost 2 years now and its and I cant thank her and All About People enough.**ORIGINAL REVIEW**Great experience since the start and Ive had a couple of assignments.Winnie is my recruiter and has been a pleasure to work with. Shes so kind and I truly feel like she cares. My interview was a great experience and the assignments have been good.Ive really enjoy working with this agency thus far.
Working with Amy Smith and everyone at All About People in Phoenix, Arizona is the best Agency I have worked with. Very pleased with my process. Ready to start a new Career on Monday, November 4th. Thanks again, Amy!
10/10 would recommend
I had an interview with Shontay Taylor and Amy Smith. It was such a wonderful experience getting to know them as they were both extremely friendly, kind, and welcoming. They helped me set up a 2nd interview at the job I had applied for. The receptionist was incredibly welcoming as well; overall the whole experience was amazing! I definitely recommend anyone who is job searching to reach out to All About People as this company has your best interests at heart.
I highly recommend all about people I have never used a staffing agency and I got a call from all about people for a job I applied for. I met with Sherri Mitchell on a Monday and had a job interview on Thursday it was a contact position and later that day they offered me a permanent position for the company I applied for. I gladly excepted the position and stated the Monday after that. I highly recommend all about people they stand behind there name. Thank you Sherri for trusting in me.
So I have only utilized staffing agencys a couple of times in the past much to no avail, so needless to say I was skeptical to say the least. Much to my surprise my experience with All About People and in particular Dakota, one of their staffing professionals was absolutely AMAZING! She was fast, efficient and effective in finding me my dream job. Additionally, all the support and incouragment I received was beyond AWESOME! I would absolutely recommend All About People to anyone looking for a career, especially anyone looking for an executive/management level position. Overall my experience was great and my subsequent placement with a top notch company proves it!
If u need to get paid for ur work u may not want to work for this co.im guessing they really want volunteers. after all the run around they give.
Shontay Taylor was awesome. She keep working with me to find me the right job. Called me to check up on me after every interview.
Horrible experience called to get rehire for a client currently looking for employees. Recruiter took a week just to call and leave a voicemail saying I was not able to get rehire that the client does not rehire but my friends that currently started working are rehired employee. So why lie and say the client don’t rehire and not come out straight forward and say why ? When I put my 2 weeks in with the client they told me i was able to get rehired . Now she said I’m not but didn’t give me options of other assignments.
I submitted my resume and they responded in decent time. We set up an interview. Ive been without a job for months and needed to bring in some money. I landed a temporary position with another agency and told the recruiter I would need to reschedule and Im still very interested in the opportunity. She said thats fine and to get a hold of her when its over instead. Well, I tried to reach out after a few weeks and got no response. Not even a, Sorry, we cant work with you, or something.
Ya know, i never write reviews....but I cant believe the disrespectful comment made by the the co-founder. During the interview, she screens through my resume and says, My 12 year old son can do this. Didnt fully read the resume and tried to make you feel insufficient. I have years of IT exp, Navy Vet, currently a federal employee, have worked full-time while being a full-time student, and a new grad. Its hard finding the right formula for a perfect resume and cramming all exp within. I know my worth, but the rudeness is a reflection of your agency and is not appreciated.
Don’t waste your time. If I had read the reviews before agreeing to work with them I would never have agreed to.
Samantha helped me So So much. She got me my tests quickly and sent my resume to a lot of great places. I am currently working with the United Way and I couldnt be happier. I cant thank All About People enough for recognizing my potential and getting my name out into the working world, where I wasnt getting anywhere on my own. Thanks Guys. Oh and cant forget ... Effie is also fabulous, helpful and good at what she does. 5 stars all the way!
The people here are some of the most friendliest people around! They got me a good job and even a second one 2 weeks after my first assignment was over! I had three interviews with three very big corporate employers within the Phoenix area. They told me the pros and cons of each place and how the pay worked out. You will be very happy with this company.
Max called me about 7 days after I put my application in started with the client in mid June and they just hired me Full Time last Friday! ( 10/2019). A job I would have never seen myself in but one I really love cant thank Max and all about people enough.
Worst staffing agency ever. I interviewed for one position, and yet when they had me meet with the client, the client was like no, we are going to start you at this position. It was for an insurance company. I told my recruiter that I did not have commercial license but I did have a personal lines license. I emailed this to her, and have the proof. She told me that the company let me go after two days because I did not have my commercial license. Mind you, I told her two weeks before the estimated start date. I left my full time position I had with another company for this job, and now I have nothing. I would not recommend them at all, no professionalism. Basically she told me, I know it sucks, but we will see if we have anything else. Well, yeah it does! I had a full time position that I just resigned! Im not holding my breath on that one, and am looking on my own without them. If I could give them no stars, I would. Stay away.
A complete waste of time. I interviewed and spent 2 hours there on various computer tests and such.. I was told they had a job in mind and submitted me for it. Ive contacted since and was told that since its a government job it takes more time to get a reply, this was told to me way after submitting me for it. Well here I sit nearly 3 weeks later and no one has returned my calls or even tried contacting me since... Other than when they send me offers on indeed. Which makes no sense at all if they are offering me a job on indeed why am I still not employed or even given interviews for potential positions?
Shontay is amazing. Definitely recommend this place.
Great staffing agency! I worked with Courtney and she is the sweetest. They have me placed in a position that I hope to retire from. All of my encounters with them has been helpful and friendly.
MY ADVICE: Dont waste your time!!! They have a nice little office, but all that glitters is NOT gold. They will present you with a specific schedule for a given job, then a day before the interview with the company they tell you that the schedule will be something completely different from what they first told you (in other words, they start off the relationship LYING to you, they know that youll probably deal with it because youre just another desperate job-seeker in their eyes & they will take full advantage of that for as long as you let them). If/when things dont work out with the company & they suddenly end your assignment unexpectedly, All About People will treat you like garbage & will EMAIL you to let you know youre fired instead of calling (seriously, who does that?). Then when you go to meet with the person who emailed you (in order to obtain SOME kind of information as to why you were let go & what you can do better next time [aka- information that any REPUTABLE staffing agency should willingly provide]), the person who emailed you wont even have the decency to meet you face to face... They instead will hide in the back office, they will send out some random person who knows absolutely nothing about you &/or the reason you were let go, they wont find you any more work & they will treat you like an alien (instead of a human) from that point forward. I spent nearly a year of my life miserable, working a shift that was NEVER compatible with my lifestyle, all because All About People lied to me at the very beginning & took advantage of me as a job seeker. They knew I needed to find work, they took that & ran with it & the result was something that nobody should ever have to go through. I honestly wish I had never dealt with them, because to be lied to from the beginning is one thing but to be treated like trash in the end just confirms that I should have dealt with a more professional agency that treats people like humans instead of NUMBERS. In MY case: Lesson learned... In YOUR case: You have been warned!
Had an OKAY experience here. Although it could have been better and they could be a little bit more professional. Agency was quick to get me a temp-to-hire position. Although my Recruiter never once reached out to me after I got the assignment, she just disappeared,, which I thought she lacked a lot in. I like agencies who pop up just to check on you to see How youre doing and all that. So Anyways, the reason why I give them 2 stars is because from that assignment I wqs unfortunately let go due to personal reasons. The company was sad to see me go. Not once, did I ever receive a call or even an email from the agency regarding the situation. That right there, showed me that the agency doesnt care for their workers. Its all about them getting their cut of the contract. So unprofessional and I am very disappointed in the way they handled this. Not only that but the other people I worked with at that assignment who were also hired on through the same Agency had a lot to complain about as far as them saying its temp to hire, yet the place we worked at for the assignment were dropping people like flies. Get your info together All About People! Otherwise Id suggest that you change your company name to All About Getting Your Cut of the Contract.
The company is OK.but the Manager Amy is Rude as Hell, she dont know how to talk to people and I dont see how she became sa Manager there. I heard bad things about her and finally I had my bad experience with her, thats y alot of the Real Good recruiters left because of her. The Company really NEEDS TO GET RID OF HER ASAP.THE COMPANY WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER.
Typically I dont like working with staffing firms. This company is awful and not professional at all. I did not like how the Presidents wife treated me. She was rude and disrespectful to me in person and over the phone about a company I worked for 11 years and the company shut down last year, she was did not believe me. She talked to me as though I was on a witness stand and was in disbelief of my last employer. I can see why their rating are 2.9.
Please do NOT go here. I was simply calling about my W-2 and Sherri, whom apparently owns all the firms, decided to cut me off and raise her voice at me when I hadnt realis my voice I was simply asking her a question and she cut me off. When I asked her who she was and why she was yelling at me she stated that she was matching my energy. I found that quit strange because I was NOT telling and I record my calls so I have the recording to prove it. Its really sad that because you own the place you feel as though you can give attitude to a previous worked because youve had a had morning or whatever the case may be. I will NEVER go through them again and will make sure all my family and friends dont either. Its sad when people work money feel as though they can talk to people however they choose. Sadly and apparently thats how she chooses to run a business. Hopefully this review hellh someone because Im sure she cares less and she definitely showed that.
The recruiter I met with was awesome. I had been struggling to find work and she interviewed me, found a place and within a week I was hired. I would recommend All about People to anyone.
Wasted time spent on pre-screening. My resume supposed to be sent out to a job I was qualified for. It’s been 11 days now with no further contact from this company. Moving on!
I worked all month on my resume. Well the owner was so disrespectful towards me. She didnt even try to hide it. If you are Paisa and understand this go here and prove it to yourself. She actually gave me my resume back. Didnt even try to play off that she wouldnt hire me. Kaiganle mis paisanos esta señora se comportó como nunca a visto un hispano trucha en su vida. As for all others please make sure your from harvard. Especially since it seemed like i had to be a full college grad to work at a call center.
All about people is not about the people. Nick the recruiter was a great at first, however the position presented was falselyadvertised. The position was with the state, very intensive position for the low pay. The people there were very rude, disorganized, childish, unprofessional, and I can go on and on. I expressed my concerns in a very detailed email to my recruiter, and nothing got done.I missed a day for taking my son to the hospital, few tardies by only 10 minutes, followed all procedures and got laid off! Amy who is the mostrudest person Ive ever met. I dont even know how she has a job there, she talks to you like your a dog, no professionalism, no interest, simplycareless! I asked if theyd find me a new position since most agencies do, and its a known issue with the DMBE that its a horrible position, they simplydidnt care, ignored my request and just wished me luck! If you want to work with an agency that could careless and just wants to worry about there so calledclients then come on here! A while back they tried to get me to work for a scamming insurance company who had 1.8 average customer rating! I actually forwardedsome of my contacts here who had horrible experiences as well, recruiters not getting back to them, acting as if there too busy etc.. I normally dont write reviewsbut this is too absurd to not pass along to others.
Best Ive dealt with they kept me working also found me a permanent position with a great company Nikki Noel was so helpful she found me employment within a month of locating to the Phoenix area.
Worst company ever. Just don’t ever trust them with any assignment.
Great agency, tho Im not currently working for them its the first place in Phoenix to get me a position and all the ladies are great! Effie to Ali to Sherri all awesome!
Great staffing agency, Love working for Sherri and got me into a great company within a week or two at the most!
No, these people dont do anything to help. They only got me one job that didnt even last that long and have proceeded to not help me in finding new work. The girl was very vague as to why my contract was suspended. She was obviously lying about the truth.
Horrible service they NEVER helped me out do NOT recommend!!!
Great interview with Stephanie
Poor service and communication.
