Great work and fair prices. I bought a 96 Dodge 2500 with some wear and tear and looked all around Phoenix for a good mechanic to help me start working on it. I needed a good and honest perspective, the high pressure fuel pump was leaking and I had issues finding a place willing to take a look, most places quoted me a new one. I called in asking for a quote and Danny asked me to come in so he could take a quick look and found a the issue and saved me over $2,000. They didnt charge me for the brief consult and told me what the issues were and helped diagnose some other minor issues so I could get everything up to snuff rather than spending unnecessary money. I brought the pickup in a few days later and they knocked everything out in a few days, and explained the next steps to me, I was never left in the dark with anything. When theyre busy they dont make you wait around they communicate that with you.They referred me to other good specialty mechanics and called to check in when everything was finished. If you currently have, need or want a mechanic I recommend you giving them a quick call for consult. They definitely want the best for their customers and take pride in their work.

Been meaning to write this for a while now....Brent thank you for helping me and not taking advantage of my situation. I was in town visiting some family with my wife and 4 month old baby. Moments after dropping of my wife and baby off at the airport to fly home, my truck shut down and I literally coasted into the cell phone lot.... I called 3 ford STEALERSHIPS and they all told me they were days deep before they could even LOOK at my truck. I searched google maps for an Independent Diesel Mechanic with good reviews. North Valley had great reviews and I called them. I spoke with Brent, he was able to help me trouble shoot the issue there in the lot, OVER THE PHONE! After a few minutes he had narrowed the issue down to an O2 sensor. He helped me get it started and I was able to get it up to him. He fixed the issue that day and got me back on the road to California. while I was there I spoke with him and some of his staff. I appreciated ALL of the techs he had helping me with the issue. I know it wasnt a big job or even the most costly. what impressed me the most was their honesty and integrity to give a customer, even with the high probability that wont I be back due to living 800 miles away, such great help at a great price! I have been having some issues with my 2006 F-250 Diesel truck for a while. This shop really took the time to go over my problems and explain them to me. The mechanic even came out to talk to me about a few things. When they gave me my quote they knew why they were doing those items. (Which was new for me as everywhere I go it seems the people behind the counter are just reading off the paper and have no idea when I ask them a question about why it needs done or how they came across it). The work they did was great and done in a timely manner. I am very happy for the help they have given me! Great job guys! I’ll be taking my truck here for everything now.

I was searching for a reputable diesel mechanic for months when I found Brent and Brittney at North Valley Diesel and Auto. I took my 2007 Chevy Express to them and after meeting Brent I knew that I was not going to have to worry about anything. Brent scheduled my work to fit into the busy schedule that same day and I was able to get my work van back the very next day! Truly honest and excellent automotive techs that have saved me a lot of money!I took my SUV in to another shop for an alignment, only to be shocked by their suggested repairs of nearly $1k. I then brought it into Brents shop for an inspection and he saw nothing of concern and advised that I only needed a standard alignment. I heeded Brents advice, saved my money, and my SUV has been running smoothly for over a year now.

Can be a little pricey, but the people here are all extremely knowledgeable on diesels and actually care about how your vehicle runs. Well worth the cost because they will get your truck running the way it should!

North Valley Diesel comes through for me again!I called Brett Friday morning for a coolant leak in my F250. I had my truck towed to his shop around 11:30 AM and was told they would diagnose and give me a call back. I got a call back an hour later saying they found the leak but unfortunately would require a pretty extensive repair. I assumed I wouldnt get my truck back until Monday at the earliest. Brett told me they would have it ready by end of day and it was.Thank you guys !!!!

My 2005 6.0 Powerstroke overheated on the way to Show Low leaving my, my girlfriend and 2 dogs stranded on the Beeline HWY. I got it towed home and researched for a repair facility. I found NVD and took it in for repair. I had blown headgaskets. While it was down for repair they installed a Bulletproof EGR cooler as well as testing everything. The repair was $700.00 less than the estimate. All was good. Two weeks later heading to Payson just 5 miles north of the breakdown before an injector failed. Nothing related to what NVD had done. I called Brent and he and his mechanic Sean came to the rescue and made the repair and i was on the road again. He was very reasonable on the price and I got to enjoy my weekend. I highly recommend this shop. If i could give 6 stars I certainly would. Great shop and great people.

Great work but need to get updated on the 48re tranny by dodge they tried to tell me my tranny was no good and it only neede the regular service that dodge recommends and a band adjustment every 30000 miles

After spending a $1000 on a repair here I drove the truck home then to work just to break down on the 101 not even 10mins from the shop. Tried calling multiple times just to get a busy tone. I knew there could be more work to be done on my truck but for it to break down the same day right after getting it back makes it seem like they didn’t test drive it to ensure the truck was truly fixed. $1500 later at another shop it is fixed and drivable again. I wouldn’t recommend them since it seems that they didn’t even double check their work.
