McFarlands did an excellent job on cleaning, repairing a 1 hole and rebinding my hand woven Persian carpet. We brought it by plane from Hawaii to Phoenix (visitng relatives) so had a tight turnaround time. McFarlands did the job in a timely manner and the work was excellent. The carpet looks like new. It was its first bath since we purchased it 23 years ago!

We have used McFarlands for our Oriental carpets. They repaired one so well you would not know the fringe was ever coming off. In fact will be taking a rug there this week for cleaning. I was amazed by the whole operation when they spread the rugs out and wash them on the floor. We just wouldnt use anybody else for our rugs.

Theyve done good work for me twice. Cleaning, and cutting/binding work.Ask for a tour of the cleaning operation - its very simple and kinda interesting.

McFarlands did shoddy restoration work for me. They left a bald spot in the corner of my rug. They did fix the problem they created, but they never apologized. In fact, the owner said I was making a mountain out of a molehill. And even the 2nd time around, Id only give their work a B-minus. The re-repaired corner looks lumpy. One bright spot in the experience: The second time around, they sent someone to pick up the rug (after I insisted). The delivery guy was extremely professional.
