I just moved to Phoenix and didn’t know what I was going to do about finding a new barber. I Google searched my area and saw this one had high reviews…and for good reason. This place is awesome and Boris is the man. They have another regular customer in me and I will recommend them to everyone!

These guys know what theyre doing. Never been a barber shop guy but Ive been here twice and Ill continue! Never needed an appointment but probably a good idea to call in ahead of time. Not gonna lie, its a bit pricey, but theyre efficient and GOOD. If you need to look fly, theyll hook you up!

I went in today with my son to get both of us a haircut and myself a beard trim. We were waiting for whoever was available not anyone specific, they called us once the next person was available, they took my son, I told him what we needed, and they handled that pretty well. My issue came when my son was halfway done with his haircut and the next available person skipped right over me and proceeded to go to someone else after the owner of the store had informed him that I was waiting, he looked at me went and grabbed the other customer looked right at me as he walked past and continued to help the other customer. I will not be using this shops again this is the second time in period of a month that there has been an issue with providing the services they offerAfter reaching out to the store owner twice I was informed oh well after I walked out and did not get my haircut or my beard trim due to the disrespect. I am absolutely appalled.

My son has extremely thick hair with a lot of swirling cowlicks, and we have been to barbershops all over the valley and they all left his hair with points on each side of his head that look like devil horns. From the moment that we walked in the door at shave and fade it was an experience I knew we would come back for. Nick is the first barber that treated my son like his own person and would converse with him. You can tell Nick and all the guys here love what they do and they love people. They cut my sons hair perfectly. I am a single mom and I feel like they give my son the full manly experience that he deserves and don’t treat him differently just because he is a kid. Shave and Fade is the best barber shop in Phoenix a d we have been coming here for two year now. Thank you guys for giving my son the best cut and best experience every time we come in!

The first time I visited the shop I scheduled father and son special with Nicholas who is the owner. I came in on appointment time just to be called by 2 other barbers but neither of whom was Nicholas. Not a big deal although my beard wasn’t trimmed evenly and looked awkward. Came in again with no major issues. Each time I’m leaving $60+ with a tip of $10 each for my son and me. Today I walk in around 1:50 p.m. just to be skipped by Nicholas by calling other individuals some who arrived after. At no point has Nicholas not anyone acknowledged my presence to even let me know a timeframe. I finally decided to leave at 3:15. I will not be coming back to patronize this establishment.

I did not know how to describe what hairstyle and beard trim I was looking for, but my barber clearly picked up on what I meant and took it from there! It was a comfortable experience and everyone was friendly.

Ive known nick and boris since high school we go way back and when i left nyc in 2017 i never returned to nyc at least to live i came back after a 2 year trip to israel took care of a few things for 2 weeks and moved to arizona for years i havent seen since high school its been about 10 years if not more anyways both of them are my boys from my teen years . a couple months back i was on my mothers side of town and i decided id get a cut before seeing her . because i was away for a month on a trip returned around mid feburary and i google nearest barber shop i got this one and it was a sign for a reunion . on top of that both great barbers . i Recommend either one of them both do great and fast as well . under 15 minutes if not ten . 5 stars fot the hard work brothers it was great reuniting.

I flew in from Chicago and have been staying in Sedona a week and I look MAD awful. I made an appointment with Boris for a haircut and Nick for a facial. Both homies were beyond legit, they treated me as if I was a celebrity and I looked FANTASTIC leaving the place, and still fantastic days later. The facial was AMAZING and the haircut I just let him do his flow what he thinks looks good cause that’s just how I tell my barbers, It sounds like a risk but with Boris and the facial guy I would trust them with my kids !!

Been looking for a good barbershop and barber in AZ for awhile now and finally found one with these guys, I was very impressed with my haircut and enjoyed my time sitting in the chair. If you want a great haircut in a great environment this is the place.

Nick is one of the best barbers out there and he does precision fades for me. He can also make recommendations on styling if you are open to the same. They also took good care of my little ones and they were happy with their hair cuts too.

Was an amazing experience at the barbershop. Albert gave me the haircut, complete with the hot towel/shave/face exfoliating gel. Top notch experience top to bottom. Great guys super professional. Cant wait to head over again soon.

I’ve had barbers all across the country and absolutely NO ONE cuts as good as these guys do. Nick and Axle are seriously top notch barbers. Friendly, they’ll remember you, and pay attention to every detail. 10/10 would recommend! (Cash only which isn’t bad. If you’re like me and don’t carry cash, they have an ATM inside.)

Talk too much, dont follow my directions, and worst of all: covered me up with a sheet from previous customer, full of hair, without even as much as shaking it off. But: very friendly and quick. I was out in under 15 minutes. So three stars

Came in as a walk-in for a haircut an shave and had a great experience! My barber was very inventive to what I was wanting and was able to go above an beyond on what I came in there for! All in all Ill definitely be returning to this location for future haircuts.

Nick is the best barber in Phoenix, period! He is the most down to earth, personable and just overall awesome human. He makes sure his customers are happy, and if for some reason you’re not (usually not his fault) he will go to any length to make it right and make you happy! Now all that is good but it’s even more awesome because it’s just a bonus to him having insane skills. I have tried SO many barber shops in AZ and Shave and Fade has been my go to for my last 20 hair cuts in a row, that is saying a lot since I usually change shops after going twice. I almost didn’t want to write this review because I don’t want my amazing fins to become too busy but they deserve to be busy and they deserve the praise!

Just visiting buddy for a few weeks in town. Found this place as closest to his house. Great pics, looks clean, gave it a shot. $ for $ best cut Ive had in this year. Uses a straight razor, and even hot towel. Cool atmosphere and I was in and out fast. Sad I have to go back home and lose this barber.

To-date, this is the best place Ive found, since moving down about six years ago. Jin is awesome.

4 th time going hereAt first it was nice they decdiacted there work Stanley was my barber but now he lagged to much dosent pay attention always get pointy side burns he did them squared he finished with in 10 minutes it is my last time going here got charged 25 not worth it

Was recommended this place by a coworker and I was not disappointed. I gave my barber, Axel, how long I wanted my hair, but relied on him for styling and he didnt let me down. You get personal, professional attention and they definitely know how to cut mens hair. They have sports on the TV and products geared for men. Great place the barbers are good at cutting hair they treat you well honestly. The 4 stars are because their a little too expensive the pricing board saids 23$ for a fade but I got charged 25$ so that was like they charged me more than what they say they charge but still good place to get a haircut if you dont mind to pay a little more for a haircut 👍.

Boris is incredible, I didnt know I could look this good. He was quick to notice that I had many cowlicks in my hair that were hard to manage, and that I had probably gotten many bad haircuts in the past (hes right).
