I started going here in 2019, and it was recommended by my brother. I wasn’t able to get a cut with the person he recommended, but Julie was available to take walk-ins. It usually takes multiple visits before people are able to “learn” my hair, but she did such a great job from the start. She always double-checks that she understands what you want. She is does not talk with you much, but she is very kind. I recently started getting shaved as well, and I remember why I love a barber shave. I never feel like they are just trying to herd us through quickly. Though, it wouldn’t bother me if it happened sometimes simply because I want them to stay in business.It’s family friendly, and they are conscious of what is playing on the TV, stopping to change the channel if whatever is playing is inappropriate for kids. I’ve seen them do this even when there are no kids in the shop, but they said they do it to be respectful of families regardless if kids are there. I’m not easily offended, but I greatly appreciated the respectful approach.This is truly a neighborhood barbershop, and I’m thankful they are in my neighborhood!

Best barber shop environment ever. Its a comfortable mans place to watch sports, have a beverage, get an amazing haircut with a shave. The vibe couldnt be better. The service couldnt be better. The haircut.... Perfect! If youre a man wanting a perfect high and tight then why go anywhere else?

Julie is very pleasant and always does an amazing job on my hair cuts, I always choose her to cut my hair and I’m never disappointed. She also cuts my teenage sons hair regularly. Highly recommended this barbershop!

I have gone here a few times now because it is right down the street from my house. They are open until 4pm on Saturdays too. But each time I went, I had a different barber. Each time, I was very happy with my fade. Cool NY atmosphere.

I literally asked for a trim on the top and to leave enough so I can do a combover. Came out with a flat top looking like I just got a haircut at Supercuts. Barber didnt speak a word the entire time, even when I tried initiating conversation. Shouldve known when he was initially short with me that the haircut would be absolute garbage. Thanks for stealing my money.

Went in to get my head and face shaved. They had 5 barbers ready at 11am on a Saturday. Walked right in and was seated. Julie was my barber and it was an amazing experience. Traditional New York style shave and haircut. Also, complimentary beers if you want to partake. I will be back!

Ive gone to barbers my whole life - and I can tell you these are all talented experts. Large, comfortable shop with comfortable chairs and modern equipment - with an old-school feel. This shop is cash only (they do have a no-fee ATM so you can get cash with a debit card) so dont plan on using a credit card. But I wouldnt hesitate to bring anyone there used to a personal and professional experience.

Went in for first time this past week with my son. Lev and Paul were amazing, my son wanted a fade and Paul did a great job, while i am more in to the classical hair cut and shave and Lev was amazing, best haircut and shave i ever had. I found my new barbershop and barbers. So for a classic haircut and shave look no further than Mr. Lev.

Where do I start... How about with a guy named Michael who tried to cut my hair but ended up butchering my whole head... He even Nicked my ear with his scissors... I asked for a simple fade, & failed miserably. he cant blend what so ever, Should have listened to the other 1 STAR reviews STAY AWAY!

Paul and crew (Max Lev... Tony who may have retired) are great at their craft. Not only do they cut hair well but they connect with their customers. I have been driving 30 minutes to get there for the past 8 years after moving out of the area. I originally found them after getting a really bad cut at one of the chain barbershops. Paul fixed the cut and have been going to him ever since.

Have a wedding this weekend went in for a basic cut long on top and short on the sides. Had a picture to show and he saw. Then proceeds to cut my sides at a 2 and gave me a bowl cut in the back. Looked horrible, had to shave my entire head down to a 3 to not look like a moron who got hacked up by their child in his sleep. Micheal Im sorry you failed. The sides are exactly how he cut them not even close dude.

Worst Barbers ever. Shower pictures with step by step guide of what my kids wanted. Three different barbers screwed up on all three. The temples were uneven, parts wrong. The worst!

Ive had poor experience twice in this place. First time I went here 4 years ago and had a poor haircut. The barber rushed the entire time. Haircut was uneven and a week later I had it corrected elsewhere. I swore not to return to this place. Last month I tried again since my regular barber was on vacation. I had an older woman this time. Similar experience. It was rushed and uneven. I kept pointing this out to her to correct this several times. Once again I left with bad experience. This time its final. If you go there, dont use the older woman. Maybe shes related to the owner.

If I could give a negative star rating I would this place is horrible. Lev doesnt know how to cut hair I dont care if he cut Mike Wallaces hair, or whatever dude sucks. I told him to do a low taper fade didnt even do what I told him he pretty much just cuts how he wants to I kid you not.
