If youre going to take your car somewhere, you have to be able to trust where youre taking it. At long last, I found my mechanic. I will never go elsewhere again. George saved my rear when two other shops tried to con me. George handled my issues swiftly and honestly. I was told my engine needed to be rebuilt. Not the case. George identified the minor problem and handled it. He never tried to up sell me and he went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of. The car was done on time, at the price quoted and runs smoothly now. Whats more, we now have a plan of action and I am completely comfortable with Pete Kelleys auto service. I know they will do what they say they are going to do and they will do it well. Outstanding. Wish I would have been coming here all along.

I cannot say enough about this place they are absolutely amazing. They are in my opinion the best automotive place in Phoenix by far. I had my engine seize on me . I took it to a different place for a engine replacement and got a quote. Pete Kelly was about 3k cheaper including labor. So far they have done my breaks, starter, and routine oil change over the time of 1 1/2 years. The cost compared to other shops far exceeds any price Ive come across in reference to estimates. The best part about this place is the owner George and his staff . Ive been to quite a few automotive repair shops and they are always trying to up sale into some nonsense you dont need not here !Here they tell you the honest truth which I really respect and appreciate in a car repair shop.He(George) even gave me a breakdown of the cost on his computer to prove he was telling the truth. Which is above and beyond what expected. In times like this, its great to know my hard earned money is going to what its for and nothing else as Ive experienced at different shops. So far I go nowhere else, their business is 👌. I would give 11 stars if I could. Take my advice and take your car repairs here. I 100% guarantee you wont be disappointed with the stellar service they provide .

They pointed out some items needing attention, made a follow up appointment and they hit it right on the number, work done well. Went to another autoshop for a brake check. They said they needed replacing and would cost over $800!!! Came to Petes the next day to get a second opinion. Thank God I did!!! One of the mechanics took it for a test drive, measured the brake pads and told me all were in perfect shape!!! Over 90% of the brakes were still there. WOW!!! Never going back to you....BAYS!!!!!!!

I took my car in to have it checked out for some recent issues I had. This shop was clean and organized and it was a big place - like 10 bays. I was greeted with a smile and the utmost professionalism. I was worried that it was going to be an expensive repair, but they took great care of me and the price was so reasonable I was in disbelief! There were several commercial vehicles being worked on as well when I was there, which tells me they have the ability to work on several vehicles at once. I would recommend this place as somewhere you can trust and not be worried about being ripped off. They took care of me quickly and for much less than expected. That is the exact type of mechanic you want working on your vehicles.

I’ve been taking my car to Pete Kelley’s for the past 16 years and they have always been wonderful. I just took my car in for an oil change and new breaks. Straight talking and warm owner and staff. Had a loaner for me and found my serpentine belt cracking. also ordered transmission fluid from dealer because he said my car performs better with it. I felt cared for and so did my car... lol

George and his team did a wonderful job! They were able to save me about $600!! I had taken my car to multiple places that all said the issue was either the starter or the alternator or whatever. I had heard great things about Pete Kellys and once I brought it in, they did a ton of tests and determined it was none of those issues but just a very simple battery drain. It was quick and easy and I am so glad I came to them! Service was great and so was the price!

I am so very grateful to George and his excellent mechanics at Pete Kelleys Auto! My daughter has a 10 year old Honda Accord and her AC was broken (for many months!). I was visiting her from CA recently and almost melted driving around with her. I was fortunate to meet George quite by chance and he suggested my daughter take her car to him so he could see what was going on. He was kind and so very courteous and met with my daughter to personally look at her car. George identified the problem and had things fixed within the hour. The price for my front wheel bearing replacement and alignment was fair (as in equitable and reasonable) according to my research. It was promptly and correctly done. The best things about the service: there was no sir, weve found these additional things which gotta be fixed. There was no bait-and-switch pricing. I asked for a service,and they did it professionally. This is now our shop for stuff I cannot do myself. Thank you to Pete Kelley Automotive.

I have been going to Pete Kelly Auto for the past 9 months. They have worked on my Mustang and my older 92 van. James runs very good shop with his mechanics. Is skills and knowledge base are very Superior especially when dealing with custom high performance vehicles. He makes it a point to get the vehicle done when he says he will. His prices are very fair and reasonable. James always make sure to check fluids and any other potential problems with the vehicle. You dont have to take his word for it he will show you where the problems lie with your vehicle.

I have been using this service for years and George and his team are one of the most honest group of business people Ive ever come across. Ill give one clear example. I had a 3rd valve misfiring in my 2012 Honda Odyssey. When I brought it in, George and his team assessed it and when they saw that the problem was covered already under a Technical Service Bulletin that Honda was forced to put out due to a class action lawsuit they called me immediately. George only charged me the minimum for the work he had to do and encouraged me to go to Honda to have them take care of it for free. But his awesome work didnt stop there. When I got to Honda, they tried to claim it wasnt covered. George sent me photos of the spark plug and a link to the exact TSB. He encouraged me to fight hard with Honda because he was sure it was covered. After arguing with them about the verbiage of the diagnostic assessment that they were doing and how it didnt conform to their very own TSB, they caved in and agreed to do the work. That was a savings of over $700!This is only one example of at least a dozen I could give you about George and his team over the years! I live in the far Southwest Valley and I still travel all the way to Central and Hatcher for the work on my vehicles. Why? Because honesty like this rarely exists anymore. Thank you George and you come highly recommended without qualification!!

I went to Pete Kelleys for a pre-purchase inspection for a car I was interested in purchasing from a private seller. To begin, the price charged for the inspection was veeeery reasonable and it even included the mechanic doing a test drive. The inspection was detailed and thorough - at least 45 min to an hour. It was not a fly by inspection. It worth noting, while I was in the lobby waiting, there was another customer in the lobby raving about how much he saved with them. He had received an estimate earlier from another shop for almost $900 and Pete Kelleys was able to resolve the problem for them by simply replacing a part for $90. Anyway, when my inspection was all done, they did a walk though with me SHOWING me (not just a list of technical terms on a paper I could not understand) exactly what they found wrong with it. All in all, they saved me from a bad buy because there was at least $1200 worth of work on the car that the private seller did not disclose. I am still actively car hunting but will take all cars I am interested in back there for an inspection, and once I finally find something, in the event I have any mechanical needs,I will bring it there. Im so happy I found this place.

Although repairs took a bit longer than time we were told and price went up a bit from original quote (generally to be expected), for sure Pete Kelleys is the best auto repair facilty I am aware of in PHX area. A month after a rather large repair, all seems well and repairs were done correctly.

Pete Kellys Auto Service has been my familys auto repair shop for over five years.
