A little pricey but does a great job in a timely manner. They are great with communication when it comes to your vehicle and what needs to be done. Then also give recommendations on things that are concerning for your vehicle. They also have free A/C checks unlike other places that try to charge for that service. The staff is super friendly and make you feel welcome like your car is in good hands.

Horrible service. Got charged for something that wasnt even fixed and not only that they were dishonest about what was actually wrong with my car. I had the car checked twice and both times I was told that the part you guys fixed wasnt even the issue. It was much bigger then that and yet they still let me drive away so that I could end up braking down in the middle of traffic with my kids in the heat!

I went to Medinas at 2:30 in the afternoon and Ernesto immediately assisted me and diagnosed the issue with my car and was able to give me an accurate quote right away. They had my car back to me in 3 hours. The shop normally closes at 5 and they remained there until 5:30 until my car was finished because they promised it back to me that day. Ive not been pleased with a mechanic in a long time, but I highly recommend Medinas Automotive. The people are great, the prices are great, and the service is outstanding!

I personally think most of these positive reviews are sock puppet accounts. Meaning people who are either friends of the businesses who posted, or the owners themselves creating different google accounts and posting as other people. I say this because I have been to this place.I called them several times to verify the cost of the work I wanted done on my car. I received the same price every time, so I decided to go in and schedule to have work done.When I went in I told the fellow what needed to be done, and he took all of my personal information before even quoting a price. Right down to the cars color, which I found very strange. Once he had done that he then finally told me the price, and it was a THIRD higher than what I had been quoted during my 3 previous phone calls to find out the cost. This was not one off, or special work. This was standard far, set price sort of stuff, and they had told me on price thrice, but in person quoted a much higher cost. I could tell from his facial mannerisms that when he quoted the price he was lying, and had upped it for some reason. Maybe because I did not ask about the price this led him to believe I was naive to such things, and that he could take advantage.Whatever the case may be I left, and will never go back.Dont trust anyone who will lie to you outright, even when the truth is readily available. When I told him I knew the real price, as I had called several times before at different times, on different days he didnt skip a beat, and said OK.However, I dont care if they will do it for the real price when confronted with the truth. Of course they will. Its the lying that Is the big tell. Mechanics that dishonest will do anything for a buck in my view. Theyll try to sell you repairs you dont need, and even break your car and then offer to fix it.Trust me folks, the high rankings for this business are likely not real, and it is very common for businesses to fluff their own google numbers with sock puppet accounts, or social media influencers. Take my word for it. Avoid this place if you know what is good for you. Dishonest in one area, dishonest in all. Steer clear of these people.

This is the best auto shop in phoenix. I recently moved to litchfield and decided to try christian brothers automotive and they quoted me 2000$. It didnt sound right so I called medinas and they quoted me 700$ for the same exact job. So for now on I will just take the drive to medinas.

Mr. Medina is always courteous and maintains his location very well. Currently yes, there are appointments that need to be booked due to covid and a rush of popularity with this location, which I am thrilled to see as we do refer many people here who have already gone to other mechanics with failed repairs. He diagnoses vehicles for a low charge if you are handy and want to do some of the easy work at home which we love because we arent rich. He takes the time for all his customers to let them know EXACTLY what is going on with their vehicle. I trust him for major repairs that we cannot handle on our own. He always fixes in a reasonable amount of time. The cost is mid market. But it is worth it! If you are looking for cheap mechanics and labor, you get what you pay for. Mr. Medina also does discounts. He will work with you and even offer finance through Surepay if needed. I have worked with Surepay once before and they are easy to pay off and cheaper than most financing options. He is our most trusted mechanic who is honest and to which we are loyal to. Everyone else who gave 1 stars were either talking about the location NEXT to Medinas or a restaurant. You will not find a more honest mechanic.

I feel that I owe this auto shop a fantastic review. Ive been to them three times now, and each time they have exceeded my expectations. This is without question, the best shop Ive been to. The latest repair i needed was a radiator on my 2004 Trailblazer. It was around 370 dollars. If you look at other places, youll pay 500-600 dollars easy. And theyre also fast. They have no problems getting repairs done quickly and done well.Also to be noted, is that I had my wife take in the Trailblazer on this day. They had an opportunity to take advantage, and didnt. I will be telling all my friends about this place, as they have earned my business for good.Oh and another plus is theyre open Saturdays so I dont have to work around my work schedule to make a repair happen. Kudos.

Mrdina’s Automotive: I contacted Firestone to remove, purge contaminates and replace my A/C refrigerant. I found in my opinion the price was high; however I thought Firestone is a good company. I talked to a friend who said that is a bit high and told me about Medina’s Automotive. Medina’s quoted half what Firestone quoted. Consequently, I went to Medina’s Automotive. My first impression: Ernesto Medina has a lot of cars being worked on. That was a good sign that his business draws a lot of clients, however, I wondered when am I going to get my vehicle into be worked. Ernesto was very friendly, and he got my car in right away. His shop staff multitasks well. I had the refrigerant removed. He only charged me half the quoted amount, where as Firestone wanted the full amount and gave me one year to come back, and after that on year, I would pay the full amount again. Mr. Medina only charged me on work performed that day. I installed myself a new compressor and the Dryer. Had the system flushed and recharged. The A/C worked well for a few days. Then, the air wasn’t as cool. I took it back to Medina’s and he checked to see if there were any leaks for a green dye was added and he checked pressure, and he charge me nothing and found no leaks. I did the O’rings right :).I had replaced the compressor, but I knew now that the condenser had to be replaced too. So I asked Mr. Medina if I could have him remove and replace refrigerant again at the same price. Ernesto replied that he is not going to hit me with the same price but only charge half amount, that is, not charge me this time for A/C removal and only charge for another recharge. And he squeezed me in again I thanked Mr. Medina .Assessment: Medina’s is a fair priced, reliable and customer focused business.Thank-you Ernesto :)

I brought my 2006 Volvo to this mechanic who turned out to be a very arrogant man. Smokes in the office that I, as a customer had to be exposed to the smoke while waiting and paying for a repair that was not at all satisfactory. The same strut noise was still there after I was told the repair would take care of the problem. Turns out that would cost an extra $195. I will not ever return tto Medinas. I was hoping it would be a great experience but didnt turn out that way. The man coulnt even say thank-you.

I had the best experience with these guys. My car was running really bad last week and knew I needed a tuneup but not sure what else. I work as a live in caregiver in ftn hills so my retired and disabled vets count on me to be there . My home is just down the street from Medina so I called them and they got me right in. They seemed to give me an honest opinion and understood I didnt have much money to spend so they gave me several options. I opted to do all of the work because as you know once you start something on your car if you dont finish it you have more problems Murphy law.. . These guys had lots more work than they thought but didnt charge me Xtra for their time. They worked well after closing time because they knew I had to go back to work that evening.My car runs Beautiful now. If I would have had extra money I would have given it to them. Now They have me for life weather they like it or not. And my Buick Rendezvous is not easy to change spark plugs and coils y have to undo the motor mounts and rock the engine to change the back 3 plugs.Sorry guys for putting you through that,And My Patients and I Thank you so VERY MUCH.
