10 months (a whole pandemic) and over $9k later, I finally have my car back. With a check engine light on. And it shakes.This used to be the only place for me to go for over ten years. Not sure what could have happened between then and now, but Ill definitely not be going back.

I took my truck in for repairs. Two weeks later i had the same problem i paid $1, 000 for the part they in stalled so i took it to another Mechanic he told me madinas the part they installed was a cheap part made in Taiwan so he repared my truck took the cheap part out and paid 800.00 for the same part i bought from madina, there a rip off and will never go there again

They did an awesome job. Recently purchased the vehicle from a dealer they work with. It had a couple issues after purchase. They took care of getting the car back up and running. My biggest concern is not how long it takes, but the quality of the job and being kept in the loop. They called me almost everyday to give me an update on the job, even if it was just to tell me they were still working on it. I told them that they are my go to shop for my repairs now, big or small.

ITS A GOOD SHOP FIXED MY KIA .WAS HAPPY WITH IT NEXT HOPING TO TAKE MY TRUCK FOR A BIGGER FIX.

Went to get my trans diagnosed, when i dropped off my truck i gave them everything i knew (got rebuilt six months ago and told them theres a receipt for the previous work in the glove box.) they called back with we think it needs to be broken in so i explained AGAIN its six months old... another hour goes by its broken you need a new one charged me $40 for wasting my afternoon. thanks alot.

Was told I had a Bad Transmission. They checked it twice. It was the torque converter that was Bad. Dont go there! Very Dishonest.

This place is a rip off. I agree if you value your car, time and money DO NOT COME HERE! WE ALL CAN NOT BE LYING! Read the reviews...This business is a rip off. My daughter took her car here for a head gasket. They sold her new pistons, rings and rod bearings. As well as a reconditioned head a new radiator new plugs and wires. It never ran right sheet took it back twice and Mr. Medina said it was due to the new parts. Well it died on her today and she took it back to him he said that someone loosen the rocker arm and changed the firing order and charged us $60.00 My daughter just maid it in her driveway and it died so I called Mr.Medina and he had the audacity to tell me if the car had gas in it that cars need gas to run. He should know he told me he drove it to Bell Rd and back. I had to hang up..... I am up dating this review it is October 16th 2017 my daughters car quit on her about a month ago I got it towed to my house and removed the spark plugs to find that they were never changed and that the spark plug in cylinder number 2 had exploded and the fragments seized her motor I can clearly tell that the spark plugs were never changed nor the wires which we were clearly charged for I strongly recommend that no one goes to Medinas Automotive for any work if they value their vehicle their time and their money we are currently going to pursue legal action against Mr Medina.

DO NOT take your car here. They tried selling me parts and services I didnt need. As an Hispanic, I try to support small Latino business and needed a simple alignment done on my car. I was told my car would need new motor mounts and that an alignment would not be able to be done as a result of. Being that my car is under warranty and fairly new, I took it into the dealership in which they found no substantial evidence of the vehicle needing new motor mounts. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt I went to another dealership and was told the same thing. I will use the connections I have with the City of Phoenix Chamber of Commerce and will take action to have this place shut down.

Sorry but these people are merely Auto pirates, they overcharge and make questionable repairs as well as unnecessary repairs if at all... I felt with them years ago and they were highly questionable and so I see nothing has changed...do not take your vehicle to them....

SCAMS, LIARS, FRAUD. On March 14th, 2017 I brought my car (2003 ford expedition white) to this establishment for an evaluation. As to what was going on, the car had really bad idle and would turn off. I had a trip coming up to Mexico and needed my car fixed ASAP. The owner and other mechanic did the evaluation and said to me that my coils, intake manifold, spark plugs, wiring to spark plugs and Co2 sensor and a few other items all needed to be replaced and that they would charge me $1050 to have all replaced and have the car running like new. I DIDNT HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY for the repairs. The owner said well how much were you thinking of spending on it to that I replied not $1050 more like $200 I thought it wasnt gonna be that big of a deal. He just shrugged his shoulders and left. So I TOOK HIS WORD FOR IT (him being a reputable mechanic and business owner)left Medinas shop went home parked my car told my family the trip to Mexico was cancelled. Also called my boss told him I would be out the next day because of car issues. May 22, 2017 someone recommended a mobile mechanic. He came to the house, evaluated my car and within 7 minutes he called me and said hey your car is fixed not knowing what to think I rushed home from work saw my car running smoothly as it was before. The new mechanic said the problem was two vacuum hoses were loose so he replaced them and charged me $50. I was skeptical of this new mechanic so I drove the car for a few days and all seemed fine. I decided to do the ultimate test and did a road trip for Memorial Day. My car drove better than expected with no problems whatsoever. From a diagnostic of the worst, charging $1050, to it actually being a $10 vacuum hose, I missed my cousins wedding and nearly lost my job due to car problems. DO NOT BRING YOUR CARS/BUSINESS HERE.Also the receptionists are the rudest people I have ever met in my life. I hope my review will stop at least one person from doing business here.

Always makes me a good honest deal much lower priced than the big name shops, and even allowed me to supervise and observe the work to my 96 Mustang GT, including O2 Sensor Replacement, Brakes, WaterPump, Fuel Filter, Oil Change, the Belts. Techs also seemed to follow good safety practices, even after my car was on the Lift they then secured it with Timber Jack style posts to ensure it was secure even if the lift were to fail. Very happy with service.

This is the worst experience Ive ever had with any mechanic. I had brought in my truck as it wouldnt pass the emission test. To start off the receptionist was very rude and unprofessional second of all Mr. Medinas 30 years experience isnt worth anything as I brought my vehicle 7 times to this shop and nothing was resolved, my vehicle still needs to be repaired. I would not recommend anyone to bring their cars here. If I were able to give it zero stars I would!

Here is our story My dad Sam took his 2003 Suburban to this shop to fix the A/C. They gave him a cash price of $425 which he paid in full at the time of service. He was told that the air compressor needs to be replaced. The shop said they replaced it and took the cash. Gave him a receipt. Less than two months later, the AC is broke again. Dad takes the vehicle back with the receipt. He is told, its the air compressor again. Dad shows them the receipt which he never checked, it shows that it dates back to 2012. The shop says the compressor is not under warranty. He didnt even own the vehicle back then. They charged him another 425 and the AC still doesnt work. Attempted to contact the owner Hector but he kept dodging our calls. Be aware of this scam. We are currently filing a civil lawsuit and a fradeulent scheme complaint with the Arizona Attorney Generals office.

Dishonest mechanic shop. Mr. Medina reports that he gets the parts from the dealer, but gets parts from Autozone or Oreilys so he charges more. Does things to your car so you have come in a second or third time problem still wont be foxed. Said replaced the fly wheel and replaced clutch. Lied did not replace the fly wheel. STAY AWAY from this place TOTAL RIP OFF. Even took in to get a oil change. Did not change oil just slapped a sticker on the window. Did not re set dummy light, or write in next oil miles. RIP the hell OFF should be the name.

Brought car for freon. Told it had leaks, so I paid 180 to seal leaks. 3 days later hot air is coming out. They tell me theres a leak on the hose. I paid 180 for such leaks, now they wanted 290. I walked out.

They told me it would be one price, when my car was finished i went in to pay and it ended up being more. Very rude service, will definatley NOT be going back. If u want your money stolen go there. Hated everything about this autoshop. Complete rip off

Took my car here cause my head gasket blow told me one price and then it was another after another or something else was wrong or this is wrong. They had my car for two months just got it back 1-7-17 six days later my service engine soon light came on. My car is acting like its never been fixed and now I have to take it back to see if I have a warranty and theyre most likely going to want more money out of me. This is a horrible place if you want your money stolen from you most definitely go there.
