If you love surveys, you will love Allstate. My last response is below in quotes if you care to read. The call center reps are very friendly and professional but you will need to be patient with them. You will also (as with any company) need to make sure that your policies terminate at the right times and are actually what you want. The website lacks direction, but its getting a little better. No one will call you if you make a mistake online. Basically dont trust them to QA the policies. Always call to make sure they are set up correctly. Get it on a recorded line.My survey response follows:I find this survey to be a bit premature. I am not sure who or what this survey wants me to analyze. I have never spoken to my actual Allstate rep in either state; I have only spoken to reps between AZ an NM. While I havent had any issue that couldnt be resolved (my NM renters contract didnt terminate at right time; misinformed about my AZ auto insurance rates, autopay feature doesnt transfer over) I feel that the real issue is that I cant talk to the same person when talking between policies to solve these issues. I understand regulations, but I wish I could just send an email into Allstate and the system figures out who it goes to, and then I get an email back with the resolution. Also, I feel that next steps when creating policies should be posted and be obvious on the cite. I got my renters policy paper in the mail to sign; had I known that it was just next steps online I wouldve done it same day. In summary, make the website better for issue resolution and policy creation. Also, find a better way other than customer surveys to assess the success of your reps. They exists. Dont be lazy as a company. THAT is a reason I would actually leave.
