I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. James Troy today, Im not an individual that usually reviews places unless its incredibly impactful and this was one of those times. Mr. James Troy is a gentleman that adds faith that there are still considerate and genuine humans - it seems these days that good customer service is an incredibly rare experience to encounter, let alone someone who is there to genuinely provide customer service with no agenda to upsell, or sell you something you dont need, simply there to provide excellent service regarding what you do need. I have been a discount tire customer, faithfully, for nearly 20 years but because of Mr. James Troys service, regardless of where I live in the valley, I will become a faithful customer to this Big O Tires location and instead of dreading having to deal with the encounter, I look forward to seeing Mr. James Troy on my next visit which makes all the difference in the world. Aside from his pristine customer service, it was active within the store between both the phones and customers and yet he managed to answer, and at minimum, pleasantly greet the customer on the phone and would politely request if they would mind being placed on hold, while acknowledging every single individual within the store during my encounter I assumed that I was working with a high-level manager, you can imagine how astonished I was to learn that this was Mr. Troys first day. I was completely blown away as he made (excuse my language) one hell of an impression. So to Mr. Troy, I say THANK YOU for adding a little faith that there is still individuals out there with a genuine passion for customer service and just all around a really good human. I wish amazing karma his way.

Excellent service! These guys were great. Had to get a couple of tires replaced on my daughters car last minute on a Saturday. Need tires that werent carried in stock. They arranged to get the tires delivered that day and installed. Called me when they noticed an issue with one of the other tires and got it resolved for me. Friendly and service oriented. Theyre awesome!

Took my truck to the Ram dealership on Frank Lloyd Wright twice for service, left it there for 2 full service says both times and almost nothing got done to it. They changed a fuse.... Got it back again with nothing done and was told it would be 2 weeks before I could bring it back in saying they were busy, but I went by and took pictures of the bay area and spoke to mechanics who stated they were not busy at all.So I called Big O and spoke to the manager here. He had me in within an hour! All the work done in 2 hours!! Even drive me home so I didnt have to wait on the Lyft. Just AMAZING customer service. Very happy with the work done. Everything insured. Go here next time your mechanic place gives you the run around. Youll be well taken care of Im sure.

Manager was very accommodating and got us in right away. We had an issue with one of our nittos grappler tires that needed repair. We called several tire shops that said they could not fix it. The technicians here got it done without any issues, problem solved! We would definitely return here.

The blower on my Ford F-150 truck went out on my way home from work in 106 degree heat. The next day I replaced the blower motor resistor hoping that would solve the problem but the AC was still out. Late in the afternoon I drove to Big O where I get my routine work done and asked if they would work me in at the last minute, especially with temps predicted in the 103-106 range in the coming days. They fit me in and had repairs done in just over one hour. I greatly appreciated the prompt response.

Easy in easy out ..just the way it should be

Called up only needing a tire rotation. They were able to get me in without an appointment and had me back on the road within 30 minutes. Also, inspected the brakes on my car during that time. Bought 2 tires from this location on a previous visit and very pleased with the service.

I arrived at Big O without an appointment, but I received prompt attention. I had a $16.95 oil change coupon, but I expected to pay much more. The only discussion was about using synthetic oil instead of conventional oil. I waited in a comfortable waiting area & the oil change was completed within 45 minutes. The only extra fee was for disposal. Ariel was very congenial & informative while she processed my invoice.I dread getting my car repaired & maintained, but Big O @ Thunderbird provided a pleasant experience. I will utilize Big O for future repairs, tires, & maintenance.

I called this Big O location to ask some questions and get some pricing, and got a gal named Julie on the phone. I could tell she was busy but she took the time to look up my vehicle and the tires I wanted and give me an over the phone quote. She and the others that helped me that day were kind and super helpful. I scheduled my appointment to get my new tires installed. Their pricing was extremely fair and the customer service was lights out. When I showed up for my appointment the team there took excellent care of me, with quickness. They even let me look at my new tires before they started. It took a few hours for them to do the work, but halfway through, I got a call from Julie to see if I wanted to keep any of my tires because my spare was new. I thought that was really considerate and thoughtful since I didn’t leave them with any instructions. My new tires are on and they feel amazing, I got great pricing and I would recommend this location to anyone, and have! Thanks for everything team Big O!

Great customer service and I came in at 5:15 and they still had my car done at 6:00. Very nice abs we always take it cars there!

They are very accommodating. Steve took good care of us. Needed their services to get the check engine light off.Cant pass vehicle inspection without it.Need some rack and pinion service for the steering, we will see if he takes are off that as well. If he makes all this happen, he will definitely be getting my replacement tire order.

These guys were very friendly and had same day availability on a Sunday which helped tremendously as I had a last minute road trip the following Monday. I bought 4 tires at a very good price and when I went to pay, they informed me they had saved me a bit more. I also bought the warranty which is good for 6yrs and if anything happens to my tires, I can go to any location in the country. As a traveler this came in very handy!

The guys are great, very attentive and they do their best to take care of you. The location is right down the street from me and although there are other tire business to buy from, I truly like the way these guys operate. Great job guys.

This is the most unprofessional establishment Ive ever been to, I refuse to call it a business! I get trying to upsell but they literally harass you and call you with more issues and a bigger price then quoted before, after youve dropped off your vehicle already! Then when I tried to cancel my appointment the man Mark with an attitude said youre lucky I dont charge you for the labor weve done he was upset after I told him what discount tire quoted me and he said he could match it but could not. After ward he tells me to wait outside for my car and keys at this point Im heated so I go outside and the employees then proceed to play a game of hide the keys from me. I asked wheres my keys an employee said I do not know and continued doing what he was doing. When I asked if he could help me find them or someone who has them he ignored me. I shouldve known not to do business with these people when I walked in and one of the employees was arguing with another customer on the phone. Would give them -5 stars if I could! Read the other 1 star reviews because the 5 star reviews are faked by the business.

I went in for an alignment on my 2016 Tacoma, service was great & fast. Now 2 weeks later my brakes are metal to metal in the front. I assumed they would do a complete check of my truck. I was a service manager for a Goodyear store back east. Thats how we were able to help the customer in things that were going wrong or needed attention. Well not this store. I just went back in & told him sounds like my brakes are metal to metal. His attitude was so what. Needless to say I left & will never return to this store or probably any other Big O.

I took my 2019 Lexus ES 350 Lexus here to get a UBER inspection done and service was done quickly and staff was very professional and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this shop especially to others needing UBER inspections done. I was done and back on the road in less then 25 min. Thank you again to the staff here that took care of me !!!

The man that patched my tire was nice and didnt charge me. I found out a day later he either did not patch it or he did a lousy job because it still was going flat.

Going to tire shops typically overwhelms me because I’ve been ripped off before because of my lack of knowledge about cars. However, the manager on site, Jess, was extremely helpful. He patiently explained to me all of my options and helped me choose accordingly. The other staff members were exceptionally kind and professional as well. I was assured that if I had any further questions they would personally help me. My car has been running great since. I normally don’t leave reviews unless an establishment has gone above and beyond and this one has definitely made a very good impression. They will have my business going forward.

Second time with Big O. And my biggest takeaways with shops is their work and integrity. Two key things I pay attention to and Big O has it. Being able to see and know whats going on. Do their best to accommodate with cost especially in these times and dont oversell/charge. Great group of guys and long as im in the area will continue to bring my business to them

Staff was honest and helped save me money on repairs

They didnt put some cap back on the engine when I got my oil changed. Made the whole car smell like gas whenever I drove. Had to pay for someone else to fix it... 0/10

I took my loose wheels and tires to this location to have them balanced. Yes just a balance, when I got it back my new painted wheels were scratched and has a small dent. All the tech said was its from the balancing machine. So I take it they dent and scratch all the wheels that they balanced? Do yourself a favor and take it to discount tire. I definitely would not want to see what they do for a mount. This place is a joke, I would not recommend this place

I live in Maricopa and I’m willing to drive an hour to get my car fixed in Big O Tires in Thunderbird. Never had such good costumer service. Had a great experience with the team here. My run-flat tire on my BMW needed replacement on a Sunday and was extremely stressful as most tire places are closed on this day. The team was extremely communicative and was able to special order the tire I needed to arrive first thing the next morning (my Pirelli tires aren’t typically in-stock and always need to be ordered). They had the tire on my car Monday morning and made a difficult situation easy. Thank you for all your help!

Someone went around and stole all my caps to my tires the caps in the nozzle where you fill up your tires took all mine off and this place give me about 15 or 20 of them very helpful and check the air in my tires for me very professional with a smile I like that !

Stay away!!! Unfortunately my 76 year old mother went here for an oil change but was upsold into changing coolant hoses and check for possible leaks in the system. Next day radiator burst from pressure tests which they charged for but say was not done. When she returned to get an explanation they took no responsibility and wanted to charge her over $700 for a new one. I had it done for $330 thru a trust worthy mechanic. Talked with corporate customer service and emailed back and forth with Steve Mattingly the store manager who had no interest in taking responsibility for there actions. Typical since they are only interested in up selling and getting into your wallet . You’ve been warned!!

They take good care of you, they even text you to see how your car is running... pretty cool.

Was in a tight situation that required urgent service. Needed a tire and had to help a friend. I came in, explained the situation, and informed these guys it was urgent and had to be on the road ASAP. They said theyd see what they could do. I was back on the road in under 20 min, and even made it in time to pick up my friend...I actually got to my destination early and arrived before my friend got there! And it was all in thanks to these guys - Aubrey and his crew. Swift, honest, and reasonably priced. I couldnt believe how quick and on point the job was done. And these guys are very personable, business minded, and customer oriented. Ill be seeing you guys again soon enough as Im gonna need to replace my other tires too and yall are less than a mile away so that helps. Yall fricken ROCK! Thanks again guys!!!

I always go to Big O for tires and maintenance on my Kia Soul+. They have my records from all my travels and services. And they always take good care of my car no matter where I go.I find the sales staff is knowledgeable and professional and I dont feel pressured to have any more done than what I want ( or can afford at the time).So, the location in N Phoenix today did not disappoint. In fact, they did an outstanding job. And it was done before I even finished reading the US magazine in the waiting room!Aubrey Peel was my salesman...an Afghanistan Vet... and a fine young man.Thanks, Guys!

Sunday afternoon at 3:30 I stopped in for an oil change. Andy and Julie greeted me immediately and graciously got me in. Mind you they close at 4 and the two other places I stopped at couldnt or wouldnt service my car. I usually change my own oil but the special pricing they had was less expensive and the convenience made it a no brainer. Dylan got right on it in the garage and I was done in 30 mins. Took my car in to get all four brakes replaces all of it roters, shoepads, ect.... first time the brakes didnt seem right, and to find out the front brakes were not installed correctly !!!! 2nd time i took it because it was making squeaking noises everytime i brake ( before taking the car never did it make those noises) they replaced the shoepads, but it keeps doing squeaking noises. Not sure if they arent giving me high quality brakes or what but i did pay good money for them to have this outcome!!!

I needed my brakes replaced and didnt have time to work on them myself. Big O did a great job for a good price and alerted me that I needed new front tires.

After a alignment and rotation and whatever else car work was done for a big o tires cant tell when there is wrong size tires on a vehicle. Because they dont care or dont really do the job. Youd think big o tires would be BiG O EXPIReNCED.. about tires. Wrong . So had to spend even more money to get the right size tires and another alignment. Will not return even if it was be serviced by them or not.

I recently went there to get my rear sway bar put back into place as the rubber holder got loose and was making a knocking sound. Not only did they fix that for me for free, they were honest and upfront and showed me the problem without trying to fake anything. I got my oil pan gasket replaced as well. Price was reasonable and they got me in same day! Really nice workers

I went here to get 4 new tires put on my car. I’m very satisfied with the tires but I have to give them a 2 star review because I got my wheels back with scratches and cuts all over them. I was expecting so much better from everyone in this shop. I get that it’s a tire shop but you need to be more careful with customers wheels. I won’t be going back here for any service and I would suggest that everyone else goes to discount tire instead if getting new tires. Very disappointed with how they treated my wheels

Went in to get oil change & tire rotation on my Sicion IM. Amber greeted us immediately upon entering. Mark was very personable. He ensured he applied the early bird special to our bill, even though we did not have the coupon. Waiting area was neat and tidy. They had donuts, hot fresh popcorn, hot coffee & old water. Went to this location for 4 new tires, customer service is good but PUTTING ON 2 DIFFERENT TIRES and not saying anything to me about it was UNREAL. Then after calling they said that they would have to order 2 of the same as I purchased and will have to come back. They did correct the problem but TO BE HONEST they didnt even put back my chrome valve covers. So Ive BEEN INCONVENIENCE now TWICE.Not even an apology by staff. Would love for the OWNER to compensate for my time!

Very happy with this Big-O. Everyone was very friendly, honest and transparent. Mark, the tech who worked on my truck is very knowledgeable and helpful. He took me to the shop to show me what needed to be done on my truck and made suggestions for how I could improve the suspension on my lifted truck. I will definitely go back and would recommend this location to others.

The entire staff at the Thunderbird Store here in Phoenix are top notch knowledgeable professionals that always seem to bend over backwards for me every time I bring in one of my vehicles. Especially this latest visit where they installed a leveling kit, struts & tires on my truck. I am probably more demanding than most customers & they always treat me right.I will continue to recommend this location for any products or service that they can provide.

I went to this place before when Mark was the previous owner and the service and prices were very reasonable. I went there today and there is a new owner and they wanted to charge me $75 to change a front headlight bulb, I couldnt believe my ears!! I went to another shop and they only charged me $20 to change the same bulb which is what it should cost. These new owners are not going to last if they continue to over charge people.

Every time I go in for an oil change they have great customer service friendly employees go above and beyond. They show you whats wrong with certain items so that you see what needs to be fixed and are informed and educated and dont feel like theyre just out to get your money. Every time I go in there to get an oil change I take my son for a walk in his stroller and I had a flat tire and they notice and fix it for free!

Horrible place!! Do not go here !! They are dishonest. And will not let you speak to a manager or owner when you need to address the issue with the vehicle. Never take your car here, they have unexperienced technicians doing oil changes and touching things that don’t involve the process of an oil change. Then when asking to speak with the owner she said he was mad that she called and told him about our issue and he turned off his phone . She wouldn’t let us even talk to him.

Had a flat tire, they were able to patch and send me on my way within 30 minutes of just walking in. Will be back to this location in the future.

My intentions was to have this store as my main location for tires and vehicle repair but after the experience today i will no longer be a Big O Tire customer. Was quoted a price for the same exact work i got done a few months ago. Schedule the appointment and bring my car. After 5 minutes of handing my keys over, Jack comes over and advises that Mark adjusted things to my order which increased it $50 more. At this point, i refused the service and requested my keys back. Can you believe that he was charging me an additional $15 for air? Oops, my mistake nitrogen. See the service i received a few months back, was amazing! The guy gave me a free oil change if i bought 2 tires. He hooked me, i was good with that offer. Mark on the other hand, refused the $16.95 oil change freebie. I know its only $16.95 but when your buying 2 new tires any little thing helps. Needless to say, i went to Discount Tires, they fixed my flat tire for free and i went on my way. So word of advice if you plan on buying tires from this place, see if youre being charged for nitrogen which is essentially air and you can get that for free from QT.

Great service

I came in and was treated with respect & dignity. Besides an oil change, I had a headlight issue to be addressed and I was pleasantly surprised how well I was treated as I had everything explained, including options which meant I saved a ton of money. Coffee, donuts, Wi-Fi - really professional place and Ill definitely be back.

My car stalled about 30 minutes before this store closed in a giant puddle in the parking lot that hydro locked my engine. One of the technicians came out to ask if I needed help, after which we brought out a jump pack to see if the car had a low power issue due to the water. After we were unable to get the car to turn over, they push the car into on the bays while it was raining outside.They were able to evacuate the water from the engine, change the oil, change spark plugs, air filter and get everything running better than it was before the incident all in the same day.Im extremely happy with the service provided, quick turn around, and the thorough communication through out the day.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THE STAFF AND BIG O TIRES ON THUNDERBIRD ROAD IN PHOENIX. THEY WERE ALL VERY NICE, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND, YES, THE HOT COFFEE AND DONUTS WERE A TREAT!

Be carful trusting what they say is wrong with your car. Brought in for an alignment and then brought me out to show me how my control arm is going to fall off cause my tire rod bushing is shot. Took it to another mechanic and tire rod bolt was just loose. They also put my air filter in backwards 🤦‍♂️

I got there at 7:10 and wanted an Oil Change and filter. No rotation, nothing else. My car was not done till 8:35 am and after driving that night, my hubcap was missing! so obviously was not put back on correctly. Never have used a Big O for this service...never will again.

Very nice people and service and reasonable prices. Honest and straightforward. Up front with pricing and donot try to take advantage of you or gauge you for unneeded products or service. I highly recommend.

Mark and Jack over at Big O have been more than helpful with my old truck. They have helped me fix everything from bad alignment to completely re-doing my front end components and even replacing a bad fuel pump. They are always very friendly and now greet me by my name as I walk in. That shows how many time I’ve been there and how helpful they have been. I have never had an issue with any of the things they have replaced or repaired. They can really fix anything you need. My father and I bring our cars in there because they are fast, reliable, and reasonably priced. They always take care of us when we go in there. I recommend this store to anyone who loves great customer service and a job well done.

The owner, Mark, is incredibly friendly and helpful. Prices are better than most other mechanics in the area when I called to compare. They honor competitor coupons. I have had a few things done here for my car (oil change, brake flush, AC tune up) and have been very happy with the work performed and condition of my car afterwards.

Walked in after calling for a quick tire rotation - 13mins later handed my keys and left with rotated tires for a nominal $20 fee. Very happy!

I stopped in for an oil change. They told me my brakes were down to 5% and needed to be replaced. In a panic, I cancelled my plans for the rest of the day, bought new brake pads and rotors at a local auto parts store to replace the brakes myself. When I got the pads off, lo and behold they were nowhere near 5% of life- I compared the current pads to the newly purchased pads and there was more than 60% remaining. I suspect they lied to me so I would pay them to replace my brakes. I think they are probably doing this to other customers as well.

During rush hour my tire was going flat, I found big o tires, amber greeted me immediately and Orlando changed my tire quickly, excellent service
